We both got the wrong food and twice they brought food we didn't order! It was so salty neither of us could finish it!! It was terrible!

Nice restaurant owned by a lovely family and located at a convenient location. Plus, the food tastes amazing!! I recommend getting the beef sizzling plate. We had an opportunity to chat with the owner and she was welcoming. Prices are affordable & reasonable, too.

Enjoyed authentic Chinese dishes

This is my mom’s favorite spot so when I am in town I take her here for lunch. Food is always good. Service can be slow at times but it is a mom and pop shop so the wait is worth it. Prices are also very good compared to many places. Last time I was here I got the braised pork! Very traditional style! Loved it!

I really felt like the price was worth it and the food was fresh and very good. I had the Kung pow beef and a spring roll. Both very good.

They really need to add descriptions to their food. I've ordered clay pot before and thought I knew what to expect, but what I got was not edible. I recognize tofu but not the other white lumps. It had seafood but there was no indication whatsoever there would be. I'm not sure what kind of meat the fatty gristly lumps were. The broth wasn't even what I expected for a clay pot dish. I'm sure it's lovely... when you know what to expect and actually want it. I even googled it to be sure but it's far from what the recipes and other restaurants had. Add descriptions to your website and delivery platforms. That soup went right to the garbage.

The food was wonderful, the service kind.

Mr. Hui’s was great. Food was fresh, and they give you more than enough to eat. Service was friendly, and the dining area clean and pleasant. A great choice for Chinese cuisine!!

My new favorite chienes food place

This is generally my favorite place but my gosh was it absolutely terrible tonight. The hot & sour soup was water with some undercooked mushrooms, cashew chicken had bones and was mostly breading and the lo mein was completely flavorless. Highly disappointed.

We order delivery quite often from Mr. Hui’s but decided to save a bit and do take out. The ordering was easy, the food was ready when we arrived, and was hot. We were in an out quickly no waiting, with easy parking right out front.

Worst Kung Pao beef I have ever tasted... never going back.

The food has gotten worse over the years. I just ordered today. The food was so bad. I don't think my dog would eat it. Eating at McDonald's would be better.

Great food. The dining area is old and needs a lot of cleaning. I prefer picking up my order instead of dining in.

The "Lunch special" was so bad, I couldn't even tell if I had shrimp or not. The shrimp was battered so heavily, it was making me sick, just to eat. The pile of batter in the pic is from two shrimp. I purchased lunch for my entire staff. That turned out to be a bad idea.

Great food, friendly staff, excellent delivery service. It seems as though this restaurant is more geared to provide delivery and take out than eating in. Not the nicest seating area but it is clean and the food is really good. I have eaten here several times and they have never disappointed me. Everything tastes great and looks good.

A Must try if you like authentic Chinese food!!! My husband and I were on our way back to Denver from Chicago and absolutely loved the food. My husband ordered their sizzling frog legs and couldn’t stop talking about it on how great it tasted. EXCELLENT FOOD!!!

The food is always really good. This time we did an online order because it was easier. I ordered the General Tso's chicken with fried rice, in the comment I put NO ONIONS. it seemed like there was extra onions in the rice and the chicken also had green onions all over it.

Great little Chinese spot. Used to be way better with their old cook. Or maybe they had to change chicken. The steam buns are amazing though.

Hands down the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. Every dish was absolutely disgusting. The chicken was chewy, soggy, and had a terrible sauce. The noodles disintegrate in the mouth. We ordered for the family and we had to throw it all away and get something else. The food tasted as though it were sitting out for hours. NOT FRESH and very low quality.

READ THIS FIRST I was here in February 2023. The guys were very polite and attentive but the food had more than one very long black strands of human hair in it. That leads me to believe it may have been intentional. I suspect the female employee. Cannot recommend because of this.

Love! Fantastic service! House delivery in less than 15 minutes when there was a mistake. Lots of meat and great Rangoon filling! Definitely will order again.

We usually always come to Mr Huis but was in other side of town so decided to stop at this one. Will never go to Mr Huis 2 they over charged us. The food and the service were good, but we were over charged for a special meal. It was $41.99 for soup, four meals, eggs rolls, crab Rangoon, three drinks, extra for fried rice and one extra soup and the bill came out over $73 we tried to tell them it was wrong but they wouldn’t listen.

We drove one hour to eat at Mr. Hui! Yummy authentic Taiwanese & SE Chinese food in Lincoln, NE. Very friendly and courteous servers! Highly recommend trying this restaurant if you want to have some delicious Chinese cuisine!

The crab rangoons are SO yummy. So much good filling. The waiters were extremely nice and attentive. There were also lots of tofu and vegetable options.

I ordered 2 meals with the side option of a large chicken lo mein and large chicken fried rice. I paid over $10 for the upgraded sides and was given a small portion of each with no chicken in either one. What a ripoff! I will never go to this location again.

I have known about Mr. Hui's for almost a year because it's close to the Little King I frequently visited in 2022. In January 2023, I finally gave it a try. I decided to visit during my lunch, and I love Chinese food. I was greeted right away when I walked in. There was a little confusion at first because the woman behind the counter thought I was there to pick up an order. After I ordered and let her know I was going to eat there, she had me seated in a booth. I ordered the Mongolian Beef lunch special. I didn't have to wait long for the food. I asked for a glass of water to drink. I didn't get it right away, but the woman realized she forgot it and took it to me within a couple of minutes and apologized. Nice recovery. The lunch special came with some fried rice, an egg roll, and 2 crab ragoons. While I was there, I noticed that most customers were taking their orders to go. Maybe dinner time is different. The quality of the food was good. Everything was hot and fresh. I also thought the portion size was perfect for lunch. I don't like eating so much for lunch that I want to take a nap during the 2nd half of a workday. The price was also very fair. Lincoln has been blessed with several good Chinese food restaurants, and this is one of them. Since my first visit, I have been in several times and tried several of their lunch specials. I have been pleased with all of them. I also tried their different bubble teas. They are very good. Addictive even. This is not a place I would recommend if you only have a 30 minute lunch break though. I'm so glad I get an hour for lunch.

Mr. Hui’s is the best. We have been coming here for years and love it. The food is always fresh, the building is clean, the workers are polite. There is so much variety, and it is consistently good each time. Even my picky eater loves it- highly recommend the especially salted, crispy chicken and their homemade hot mustard.

I got the wrong food very dissatisfied, a and didn't speak English and didn't honor my stamp card I ordered Kung pao chicken and orange chicken and got 2 orange chicken. I have always got great food and service but not today. What the heck.

Got delivery. Ordered cashew chicken and fried rice as my daughter needs gluten free food . The chicken was breaded. I have nerve been served breaded cashew chicken. Got white rice which I dislike. I had to threaten to dispute my Apple Pay payment in order for the 4th person I spoke to cared. Oh my food order was $18 but I paid an add $12 in Service fees. Outrageous for bad food and customer service. I WOULD NEVER order from this place again.

This our goto take out place. Quick and reasonable, my favorite is the Mongolian beef. Prices are about what you would expect. We have never dined in, always done take out here.

Food - I had the Happy Family, very fresh vegetables and loads of meat. Large portions. Fried dumplings were large and tasty, not dry or overcooked like I have seen other places. Large selection including some items I've never seen before like frog legs. Prices - fare and pretty average. Service - small place with a few tables, eat in doesn't seem to be their niche. Take out and door dash orders were a constant stream, probably a dozen while I was there. Food came out timely and server was polite and prompt with some language barrier. Not a fancy place but served on real dishes and the food was the eye appeal.

Awful !The orange chicken was almost too spicy to eat and it tasted like a dirty frying pan. Im not sure it was even orange chicken. The fried rice was super oily . We love the location on pioneers and will continue to go there but won’t go back to this location

The front desk girl made me wait for 30 mins even though my food was ready before I even got there. She didn’t even bother to check the food that was packed behind her, to see if any of those were mine. I order crispy salted squid and it became soggy squid. Waste my time and money, ruined my food and appetite. They need better service. Luckily another guy came and check, or else who knows how long she would’ve made me wait for.

Excellent food choice. You cannot go wrong here. The first time I went there was a chic working the register. Went in and sat at a table. She NEVER offered a menu or ANY service. I had to ASK if I have to order my food at the register or not to which she asked, "Oh, you want to eat HERE!!!" I was STUMPED at that. When I went this last time there was a man at the register. He NEVER let a customer go without EXCELLENT SERVICE. Excellent food. Thank you Mr. Hui's.

Decent quality friendly service

2 times I have ordered food from this place. first time was delivery, I never got my drinks. I called, and the lady said she would have her manager call me back. No call back. The food was good. 2nd time I went down and placed a carry out order to go. My order was not what they put in the bag. I called called, and a guy told me the manager was on the other line. They again took my number, and again no call back. My order cost more then the food I received. Good food, but bad management, and they don't pay attention to detail, or the correct orders in the proper bag.

This place is soo good. Best Chinese food in Lincoln. My wife and I were fortunate enough to be in their delivery range when we lived and Lincoln and frequented often. We moved to Kearney and now whenever one of us (or both) go to Lincoln we always order at least 2 meals for each of us on our way out of town and drive it back home. Chinese food in Kearney doesn't compare so much so that it's hard for us to want to eat chinese in Kearney. 6* place here. The people are nice, the prices are fair, and the food is fantastic. If you want chinese. You want Mr Hui's. (and the containers work amazing as tupperware).

Service and accuracy has gone down hill in the last 2 years. Food could be hotter when for delivery or pick up!!!

Very good taste. But what made me angry was that braided waitress. When I came to the front desk and asked for dining in, she ignored me and was very cruel to me. She let me go to the front desk and get the menu by myself. Even when I was ready sitting down, she still not gave me the menu. But then she served with other customers with a normal attitude. I don't know if the reason why I'm treated differently is because I'm a minority.

Recent update: service was terrible today. Food was still great. The great waiters seem to have quit. --- Salty Crispy chicken was on point. Crazy spicy chicken was not crazy spicy but just the right amount of spicy 😂. Both the side of lo mein and steam rice went great with the dish!

Food is acceptable, service is not, waitresses seems to be unhappy and have an attitude. I am definitely not paying tip for this one, and I suggest no one should pay for such an oblivious experience.

Well for one, they don't have descriptions for over half the menu. Next up, if your a fan of duck. Prepare to be sickened by the what had to be 2+ day old reheated duck. Not only was there more bone than meat. There was the meat rancid, the rice side had just as many bone fragments as the duck that sat atop of it. Lastly they forget my drink and wont refund me that portion. I would not recommend this establishment whatsoever and I hope this review opens up peoples eyes.

Just door dashed a single order of lol mein and it had as many onions as noodles plus the onions where full chunks huge literally pulled a while handful of completely full just cut in half green onions never will anyone in my family order from here again crazy lost 20 dollars or more a week from 5 people terrible terrible can't even believe I bit into a full onion piece 😂

I love the food here. It has always been amazing. I never leave a review after one bad experience at a good restaurant, but today I have waited for over and hour for my takeout that should have been ready in 30 minutes max. They are having no problem getting orders out for Uber eats/door dash however. I get that places get busy and everywhere has been short staffed, but it’s been 1.5 hours and I still don’t have my food yet with no excuse as to why it is taking so long. Another guy has been waiting longer than me, and they accidentally gave his food to a delivery driver, then remade it incorrectly and basically blamed him for the issue. I don’t live in town, so coming here is usually a treat and I was hoping to pick it up on my way home and have a nice dinner, but I have been waiting here for longer than it takes me to get home. Very disappointed and don’t plan on returning any time soon.

Their crab rangoon was AMAZING. I will come back JUST for that. General Tso's chicken was really tasty, but the Mongolian Beef was sooooooo oily that neither of us could eat it. It had a good flavor, but there was a VISIBLE layer of oil on top of the liquidy dish, making it very unappetizing. The fried dumplings were decent sized, but the flavor I expected wasn't there. Overall, 3.5/5* for our first visit. We'll try them again, and we'll DEFINITELY get a double order of crab rangoon!!

They have THE WORST costumer service. The women who work the front counter are incredibly rude. Never had a bad experience with the guys but I never see them anymore. Good food but doesn’t make up for it.

I really liked this place and would get it once In a great while as a treat but everytime they say their out of the milk boba tea. Like everytime. It really bums me out because this is the only place I like it from. Won't be coming back as often anymore.

Love them until I started to realize they don't really care and that they literally packed open food in boxes that leaked all over my brand new car that good thing I'm a detailer and got them removed properly or they would've ruined a 4 month old car with their complete lack of caring. Won't go there again.

I have been a customer of Mr. Hui’s for a few years now and the food has always been great and service was exceptional until my most recent experience today. The employee was very rude and would take off before I could even ask for anything. She had a lot of attitude and made it feel like an inconvenience for her to ask for an extra plate and chopsticks. Very disappointed.

The delivery guy didn't even ring the bell, just left the food outside, so we had no idea it was delivered until it had been outside for awhile, as some stuff was cold. I ordered the Shrimp with Lobster Sauce and it was a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. It came in the same container they put soup in, and it looked EXACTLY like egg drop soup, all liquidy, and all the shrimp and veggies had sunk to the bottom. I ended up pouring it over the rice and it was like rice soup with NO FLAVOR. None. It was like shrimp in water. Totally disgusting and the shrimp was overdone. Last time i order from here.
