Line is long, busy place. Food delicious though.

Excellent sandwiches. We had the beef and also the pear and prosciutto. Both delicious and very filling.

Great Aesthetic, food is good, coffee is okay but unfortunately, not a family-friendly establishment. There was no high chair and no changing table, we had to either change our baby on the bathroom floor or walk out to the car and change him there. Quite unfortunate.

Groundswell is my favorite go-to breakfast place. They make the best vegan muffins I have ever tasted! Their options for croissants and other delicious things is amazing! Their food is delicious! If you are ever in Tiverton, you should definitely stop by!

Nice coffee shop . The coffee is good but not great . Not many food options other then baked dessert type pastries.

Great food, drinks, and service here. This small bakery/cafe is a nice spot to have a tea/coffee and a sandwich/salad. Every food item I have had from here has been delicious and the staff are always super friendly and efficient. I wish there was a bit more space inside but there is also lots of outdoor seating for when it's nice out.

Cannot stop laughing at all the comments from the self entitled KARENS here...I have a theory that most of the Karens can easily be identified in RI by the $70,000 WHITE SUVs they are driving..Always WHITE! They will pull out onto a road with the front third of their car in the street, bullying you to STOP for them and let them in because after all, they are a very special KAREN!! Personally I love the NO LAPTOP policy...I go to a cafe for a quiet and yet convivial atmosphere and Groundswell is trying to create that, so KUDOS to Groundswell. Let the folks who cannot be free from their electronic devices go to StarSUX...where they can stay on facebook for hours and drink swill. Oh, and to the person who said she had been to Paris and they allow laptops in coffee-cafes....well, La dee dah...so will 40 Million other people be in Paris this year and I lived there for over 40 years and she must have been in the new "Coffee Bars" or the "StarSUX" joints where 95% of the clientele are Americans looking for those insipid sugary concoctions they call "coffee"...no self respecting Parisian would ever touch one of those. Keep up the good work and charm Groundswell!!

Beautiful bakery and cafe with excellent food. The side salad with the breakfast sandwiches is a nice touch. Limited indoor seating by outdoor seating on wrap around porch and at fire pits is charming. Glad we tired this. We'll be back.

Great little place. The food was delicious, the coffee perfect and the atmosphere was very comfortable even for our 8 year old! Staff was all very friendly and helpful & sweet!

I don't often write reviews but this cafe is fantastic. Such an aesthetic and gorgeous place, the food is EXCELLENT and so happy they had gluten-free breads/wraps. They made sure our orders were perfect and I would like to go back there every day!

You can only fault the place for pricing. Me, my wife and two children, 10 and 6, order two egg white wraps, two quiches, two lattes, and two lemonade ..$ 70.00 Wow You have a wonderful place and hats off to the designer "BUT" can't justify the pricing. if you think the pricing is on point, you really should come out and explore all that New England has to offer. We would come back, being aware that your quick stop in will cost you!

Lovely atmosphere, the preservation of the buildings is fantastic. Good food though very pricey but you are paying I guess for the gorgeous surroundings so I'm ok with it.

The best almond croissant ever!

Good food and coffee, but definitely overpriced. The atmosphere and decor is unmatched. I used to come here often but it’s gone down hill lately. I called before coming to visit this time to verify I could get work done. I made the almost hour drive, then was told laptops aren’t allowed when I arrived. Understandable, but the policy should be communicated when customers call or at least posted online. I still love the garden shop next door!

Had the veggie wrap; friendly staff and very good food. Not enough indoor seating though. Prices are also out of this world.

Fast pace, and Kaos waited to sit. But coffee and my chocolate Croissant were delicious.

Lovely cafe. I had iced coffee and a chocolate hazelnut croissant. It was one of the best croissants I've had.

Amazing in every way! Highly recommend. The quiches are the best I've ever had! The only downside I can think of is that prices have increased noticeably over the last couple years (but with inflation, everything has become more expensive).

This place is so beautiful, even the bathroom is an experience. You can tell a lot of thought and heart went into making this place so aesthetic. The prices are a little high for the area but it all goes towards the quality of the food. My favorite thing about this place (besides the kitchen and home stores flanking each side) is it encourages you to disconnect from your tech and engage with one another. It’s like a 1920s Parisian cafe daydream, I don’t get out that way nearly enough.

One of my favorite places. Typically once a week but sometimes more. Prices are on the higher side, but I feel like the service is so great it doesn't even matter. I've had breakfast, sandwiches, pastries, coffees all great. Quiche Lorraine with the little salad is my favorite. The dressing is amazing- I buy it on a monthly basis. Those shops are super cute and well organized even though there is a ton of things to look at. I love the garden shop and the grounds.

After passing by many times...finally went in for a nosh...beautiful cafe...so much to choose from...I can't say I enjoyed the espresso, but I will say the chocolate chip cookie I had with it was fantastic...also ventured into the garden store next door lovely bits of decor to investigate and the bar and kitchen store was also equally fun to explore.

Groundswell Cafe and Bakery has been a delightful discovery for me, especially as an Eastern European with high pastry standards. Most pastries in America tend to be overly sweet and of subpar quality, making it hard to find a good one. However, Groundswell Cafe and Bakery has exceeded my expectations in every way. Their pastries are not only delicious but also maintain a perfect balance of sweetness. Each and every pastry I've tried here has been a true delight. The quality and taste are simply exceptional. What makes the experience even more special is the great atmosphere and the charming garden. It's the perfect place to relax and savor the delightful treats they offer. My only wish is that they had more cafes like this in Rhode Island! If you're in the area, don't miss the opportunity to visit Groundswell. You won't be disappointed!

Such a wonderful little Café with a very inviting atmosphere. The tea was delicious. I can't wait to go back there for a bite to eat. The ppace is very well kept.

This place is great. The food is very high quality, the cafe is very nice with a great patio outside. It's one of those New England gems that are "off the beaten path" but offer a GREAT experience. Totally recommend it.

When you imagine a cafe - This is it! Beautiful atmosphere; Very nice staff. The food is amazing! The coffee is perfect. There are many different seating options indoor & outdoor. Two small home / garden shops on the same property owned by the same company. A great place to grab a bite/coffee & search for gifts. Genuinely think this is one of the best cafes on the east coast!

This is currently my favorite cafe in RI. Food is unique and always tastes great and the inside is beautiful. I drove out from EP to show this place to family yesterday. We wanted to sit outside since the weather was beautiful and I have only been here in the winter and colder months. The outdoor seating looks great but there were yellow jackets everywhere ruining the experience for my family members. We had to leave before finishing our food because the yellow jackets were starting to swarm. I wish that the owners of the establishment had mosquito nets in place to prevent situations like this, especially since prices here reflect prices similar to downtown Providence. I wish that I could have stayed longer with my family ro enjoy the weather and views but it was too dangerous.

Can't resist stopping in here whenever I've passed it. Love the energy here!

Beautiful setup, memorable and cozy

I LOVED the ambiance of this cafe/bakery. My cousin who was visiting from Hong Kong invited me to have lunch here with his family. I enjoyed the scenic route on the way in and was tickled by the European flare of this place. The food was very fresh and high quality. I appreciated the gluten free options and the store & garden attached to the place!! Would definitely make the trek back with my family!

Quality was excellent. Tea selection and bakery options were all delightful. Espresso drinks were also expertly crafted. This is a social cafe, not a business/work cafe; I.e., customers are encouraged fo limit their stay to 1 hour in this tablet free zone.

Wonderful cafe experience all around!

Groundswell is great- check out this cinnamon toast if it’s on the menu, it was so good. Lots of great food and foodie provisions. Within walking distance are a number of antique shops, local artist galleries, a few other restaurants, etc. Heading down to Sakonnet Point you’ll find a winery and multiple farms and farm stand. Tiverton Four Corners is great for a day trip- and I’d start it off here at Groundswell

Entering Groundswell Cafe is like stepping on to a movie set. Beautiful fixtures and decorations make for a great setting to meet up with a friend. So glad to see that laptops/tablets are not allowed - every other coffee shop in America is filled with screens, but this place is built for human connection over good food and drink. The raspberry and cream cheese croissant was mouth-watering delicious. Can't wait to go back!

What a wonderful experience, tucked into the Tiverton Four Corners historic district. The outside and inside tables are clean and wonderfully maintained. The food, coffee, and tea were all freshly prepared. The service was explanary and personal! Do not miss this wonderful treasure!
