A plate full of nothing but fat on brisket. No meat, just fat is disgusting and inedible. The potato salad- crunchy pieces of potato not fully cooked. No nicely toasted bun, just sliced bread. Dry chicken. Ribs were good. Jambalaya was great. I regret spending 50.00 on food i couldn't eat.

Ok guys this is the best bbq in town. You need to go there. Grubbs is super nice. We ordered everything he had on the menu and OMG it was really tasty and the portions and insane for the price!

This is THE BBQ spot in Humble. Try it you won't regret it. Excellent BBQ made with care the right way. Tender and juicy meats and delicious sides. Big thumbs up & I highly recommend this place.

I drove around Humble and even called around for a while trying to find a good bbq spot. Grubb’s BBQ came to the rescue and will definitely be my new fave bbq spot. I’m from Memphis, TN, the capital of the best bbq I thought I’ve ever had, but Grubb’s may be on to something great. The food is amazing. I got chopped brisket, ribs, mac and cheese, okra, and baked beans. The meat was tender and had the perfect smoked bbq flavor and the sides were super delicious and packed with flavor. The customer service was superb and speedy, and the atmosphere was peaceful and serene. I will definitely recommend to friends and family and will be looking forward to my next visit.

Really good, BBQ. Smoke flavor and seasoning through and through. No boiled meat or smoke pellets here, just good old-fashioned wood smoked bbq.

Advertised being open on Sunday; I drove 30 miles for nothing.

I took a bite out of the brisket before taking a picture. This stuff tastes amazing full of flavor and melts in your mouth. Close to the airport so it made for a nice bite after being cooped in a plane. Very friendly service.

Amazing food and friendly company. I bought the brisket for $15 and it was amazing! The portions are massive and the meat is juicy and delicious! This is some fantastic barbecue!

Unable to rate the food Service hmmmm google has them open from 2-8 on Sunday but after a 45 min drive only to find out they were closed! There is no accurate # to call them. And its on the corner.

He is Grand and hospitable. He makes sure you are happy. He engaged with his customers. The prices are Grand, now tell me where you can get a $10 whoppin' sandwich with much meat for the 💰. Our flight was delayed so we had to spend the night. We decided to walk over (took us about an hour, I do not recommend walking this area has NO sidewalks) and try the food. Absolutely fantastic. Cooked to perfection. Can not recommend highly enough, you will not regret trying the food here.

I'm from Chicago and I have been trying to find someone who did rib-tips and even though he didn't have them, he knew how to cut the slabs into rib-tips and let me tell you they were on point and everything else was just as good & definitely is my go to spot for BBQ.

Phenomenal brisket and ribs. We got there late and we were given a sample of ribs which I generally don't like but thought, "it's Texas BBQ!!!". Mine blowing. The Mac and cheese is the best I've ever had as well. The BBQ beans take the top spot as well. My daughter even said "I love this cow" as we were eating it. Lol. Set a high standard as she's never had it at the age of five. Thank you Grubbs for being so hospitable and being an amazing grill master!!! Whenever we come through we'll be eating here again.

Great selection of BBQ and it seems like it might be different each day…they had Tomahawk Beef Ribs our day…YES! Portions were great, sides excellent, and just enough amenities (napkin roll, hand sanitizer/wash, icey cooler w drinks) to make this place JUST RIGHT. The Q-master came over to make sure everthing was all right…and it was much better than just that! Found with these great reviews on Google and elsewhere, so was leary when Lyft didn’t have it as a location, so we took the chance and plugged in the address and went…YES! My kind of place…reminds me of the Pork Pit in Montego Bay, Jamaica!

Great service, I had the bbq ribs, brisket and chicken with a side of dirty rice and potato salad…OMG!! great flavor, meat tender and moist.. most definitely will be my to go to spot when I want bbq…only downside CASH ONLY

This is a hidden gem I’m so glad I found. The food is amazing and even though its hot as hades the gentleman on the grill is always in good spirits bumpin the New Orleans blues while you wait. I was even offered a cold drink from the cooler while I waited and grabbed an IPA yes!!! I highly recommend this place I have been there two weekends in a row and oh lord the sides are a whole other talk show😋

I love EVERYTHING in the menu. Portions are huge. Food tatse GREAT. His gumbo is the only other person's gumbo ill eat besides my own. Service awesome, he will ket you sample items. Just great service and great vibes.

This man was soooo kind. He allowed me to sample the rib. He offered customers a cold drink from the cooler, while they waited. When I received my order, I was surprised by a slice of HEAVEN a.k.a. cake. The ANGELS must've made that cake. It was DELICIOUS!!!! The ribs were family reunion ribs that your uncle makes. The dirty rice was also good. BUT THAT CAKE!!!! I will be back!!!

Just so happen to stumble across this diamond in the rough.. ordered 2 rib sandwiches reasonable prices and taste soooo good those ribs were tender and seasoned to perfection. They are only open on the weekends so get there early. Diffently will be back.

Great local BBQ place in an outdoor venue. Found while searching for a place to eat while headed to airport. Nice breeze and good temperature when I was there. Might not be as pleasant if rainy or with elevated Texas temperature/humidity, but just get it to go. Big portions.

My parents had a layover at IAH. I found this restaurant near their hotel and they’re still raving about the delicious food, great service, and the fact that they had jalapeños :)

When in Houston,this is a must stop for BBQ. Not too far from the Airport, check for the days and hours they are open. Do not forget to bring cash, no credit cards or checks accepted here. We found out the hard way. This gentleman saved us some ribs and sausage also a fantastic side of beans and a vegetable mix, both sides would have been a good meal on their own.

The food was amazing, some of the best bbq I’ve ever tasted: tender meat smoked beautifully and seasoned to perfection. The cake was also delicious, sides were cooked well too and the owner was kind. I’ll definitely be back for more soon. I love supporting black owned businesses!

Oh my goodness! The food was on point! My husband and I both had the two meat plate. and you get what you pay for, we still have left over and we've been eating off the plate for two days. He even gave us a sample of the brisket which was also fire. The potatoe salad was also the bomb the mac'n cheese was just okay. The chicken and the brisket was on point. We found our barbecue joint, try them out you will not be disappointed. The only thing I regretted was sitting out to eat because the weather was just right.

I bought a two meat plate that comes with two sides. I got brisket, links, jambalaya rice, and potato salad. I also got a chopped beef sandwich that was loaded with meat. Everything came out to be $30 which was well worth it. The BBQ sauce is good. Food was great 9/10 would recommend

I was really craving some bbq and Grubbs had awesome reviews and now I know why. I had a big fat brisket sandwich and it was finger liking delicious. This was my first time here so I didn't know it was cash only, no debit or cc, cash only! I had no cash I had debit only. I opted to come back another day (with cash) but a lovely gentleman overheard me and offered to pay for my brisket sandwich. I declined a couple times but eventually thanked the kind stranger and accepted his offer. He told me he drove quite a distance to get to Grubbs because the bbq was so good. It's nice to know there's still good people in this world. I will definitely return to Grubbs and with cash.

Well, we looked forward to great Texas bbq today, Monday, 16 May 2022, at 1:30pm, but when our Uber ride arrived, the place was not in business and only a homeless man sleeping under one of the picnic tables was to be seen. We called the phone number, and we were told Grubb’s is “only open on the weekends,”even though it says open Monday through Saturday online. The joke’s on us. We’ll call first next time, and suggest you do the same.

Very good barbecue, you want be disappointed. I love the chopped beef sandwich and potato salad and jambalaya and beans the best. But if you love ribs, chicken and sausage it's a must try.

This man has the BEST BBQ IN HOUSTON!!! The portion sizes are amazing. The food is flavored through and through. I love The entire menu and he has a customer for life!!! If you come get a four meat and all the sides. You won’t regret it been coming to him for years.
