The chocolates were very good, but the cookies were way to sweet we couldn't finished them! Could have cut at least in half the quantity of sugar in it.

Reasonably priced. We got two truffles (huckleberry and marionberry) and a large cookie for under 10$. Truffles were out of this world!

Half the fudge was good. Others where dried out like they have been sitting for awhile. Walked out the store and looked at the fudge and they would not let me trade them out since I left. Even though I was right outside. Fi ally asked when the fudge was made. It was made 6 and a half days ago. No wonder some where died out. Make sure to get the fresh made stuff not the old .

Best peanut butter fudge I’ve ever had! The texture and taste are both perfect. I’m not normally a chocolate fudge person, but even that was exceptional, too [their Klondike No-Nut Milk Chocolate]. My only complaint is that there aren’t locations nationwide (I’m from Maryland and we don’t have fudge that’s this tasty)! Definitely stop by and try The Alaska Fudge Co. while you’re in Juneau! **UPDATE: After being so impressed with their peanut butter, I’ve gone back to try more flavors. They said these will keep for about 2 weeks at room temperature. If you order a half pound, you can get two different flavors (a slab of each). 1) Fool’s Gold (peanut butter) - my absolute favorite. I got this the first day and it’s softer than the others; I’m not sure if that’s because of it being peanut butter, which is naturally softer, or the batch having a different ratio of ingredients. But the flavor is very well balanced and the texture is incredible. Peanut butter fudge is always my favorite flavor fudge, so I didn’t expect any different… but the quality and taste beats any other fudge I’ve had. 2) Klondike No-Nut (*there’s two varieties, I got both): *Milk Chocolate - by far my second favorite. Much firmer than the peanut butter, but the chocolate is very well balanced. It’s sweet, but not overly sweet. *Semi-Sweet - the only flavor I’m not crazy about. It has almost an acidic/bitter aftertaste in my opinion. However, if you don’t like your fudge to be sweet, this would be a great option. 3) Penuche (Maple & Brown Sugar) - my third favorite. Very sweet, but also very strong maple flavor, which I loved! 4) Mocha Moose (semi-sweet chocolate & coffee) - the case listed this as dark chocolate and coffee. As I mentioned above, I wasn’t crazy about the semi-sweet chocolate, but I would prefer this one over the regular semi-sweet because the coffee really balances it out by adding that extra flavor. If you’re the type, like I am, to enjoy drinking a shot of espresso, then this is for you. It’s not something I would get on a regular basis, but a great treat every once in a while. Another great option for someone who prefers less-sweet fudge. The coffee was too strong for my husband, so it’s definitely not for everyone - you have to REALLY like coffee.

We trusted the reviews, since there are no samples on ice cream. We shouldn't have. The portion size was great, but the ice cream itself was ......... like, 50c Great Value quality. Avoid.

As a local, this is one of my "must do" stops when I am in downtown Juneau! This Alaskan family owned & operated businesses is one of our true gems of Juneau! The fudge cures any sweet tooth, and a wide array of inhouse made chocolates, truffles, and more. There are sugar free options as well! Locals tip: even if you buy fudge, get a Husky or otter paw to go! (milk, dark, or white choco options).

Welcomed by the smell of fudge and then friendly staff, this small shoppe had a large selection of bite-size treats (different animal "paws") to boxes of fudge you can mix and match. The staff was helpful with information and suggestions and patient as we contemplated which fudge to choose. I bought a box of 3 different fudges to take home - I ate it all the next day! The marble counter in the front window shows it's homemade and the taste proves it.

The Alaskan Fudge Company tends to be a staple place I go to obtain fudge to ship to family and friends. My recent favorite purchase are the chocolate-covered gummy bears, which I had initially assumed would taste wacky (turns out they're delightful - and I'm not even a huge fan of sweets). When you walk past, the aroma of fudge wafts out of the shop and greets you on the sidewalk. You can also view fresh fudge being made in the window. Overall, it's a nice addition to the downtown scene. Now, do we need two locations, especially ones that are so close to each other? Probably not. Despite that, I'd say Juneau is lucky to have a fudgerie.

We visited this lovely shop on our Alaskan cruise. The smell of melted sweetness lured us inside. You can watch the fudge being made and the choice of flavours is good. My Mum and I both bought three slabs of their fudge. If I had the time and money I would have bought one of everything!

Best in southeast AK. Bought some in Skagway & bought some at Alaskan Fudge in Juneau. By far the Maple Pecan from AK Fudge is some of the best I've ever had, should have bought more from them.

Best Chocolate Chip Cookie You've Ever Had! While visiting Juneau, I made my way down the line of shops and couldn't help but smell the deliciousness coming from this little storefront. At first glance, you'll see fudge and candies, but make no mistake - this place sells the BEST chocolate chip cookie I've ever had in my life! You won't see a picture of it in my review because I already ate it! When I pulled the cookie in half to share, the chips were still warm from baking and gooey, which surprised me because it was the second to last cookie on their sheet. To me, this means they sell them quick because they're so good. The smell from outside is clearly from the cookies. Do yourself a favor- when visiting Juneau, run past the trinket shops and head right to the Alaskan Fudge Co for one of their cookies!

The seemingly irresistible smell wafting out of the shop is the only good thing about this place. Don’t be fooled. We tried the fudge as well as the ice cream, and both were of poor quality. The Motherlode Maple and Gold Rush fudges were both flavorless and eating them was like ingesting an atomic bomb of sweetness. The ice cream was freezer burnt, old, and the Huckleberry tasted like yogurt.

They definitely sold us on their fudge. Saw the sign from down the street and definitely had to check it out. When we got to the doors, the smell was unbelievable. The fudge smell is so strong, but so good. We ended up getting their 3 fudge box for $30. That's 1 and 1/2 pounds!! We got peanut butter chocolate chip, chocolate peanut butter, and caramel fudge. Totally worth it. The assortment of different "claws" was also very tempting.

Great local shop!! There is so much more than just fudge - there's ice cream, chocolate truffles, and much more. We got a truffle, and ice creams. There were about 8 flavors, including a huckleberry flavor. If you're visiting the area, I recommend this flavor! But overall, it's worth visiting even if you don't get anything!
