never been there in person but every time I order the pizza is as good as I can imagine it gets, it comes quickly and the options they have seem very unique to me so I love to order from here. they also have a weekly raffle that gives you a chance at a free pizza

My family and I love gumpy’s the pizza is delicious and there’s so many different variations. They give you lots of options on crust, toppings and cooked preference. It’s always “made with love” too! We also enjoy the mozzarella sticks and chicken sandwich! Keep up the great work Marcelo and crew.

I’ve absolutely loved every pizza I’ve ever ordered from Grumpy’s. The crust is always amazing - I love that I have a choice of how well done and different crust flavors. In addition to the traditional pizza toppings, the specialty pies are so unique and delicious. The sauce is awesome too. The added touch of basil leaves in each pizza box - I always look forward to. My son likes to break the leaves into pieces and put it on his pizza. I like to just take bites of it with my pizza. I’m now spoiled for any other pizza. Thank you all!

I love pizza with all my heart and this is by far the best pizza I’ve ever had in my whole life. They have an option to make it w love and Idk what they do, kiss it to God etc, but promise it is 100% true to brand! The staff is so friendly, the sauce is killer, the sourdough crust is crispy and they well done a pie just right. It’s a gorgeous pie! Wish they had more of a cozy restaurant feel in their shop, cos I’d love to take the fam there for a night out style meal (the place is a take out spot), but it’s hands down the best pizza we’ve had. My son now legit won’t have pizza from anywhere else! Love love love

Hankering for pizza not only satisfied but also energized to comeback for more! Small shop with limited parking in the back. They have the option to sit inside but it's also limited seating too. The owner greeted us warmly and took our order. I was set on the personal white pizza. Got it with regular crust and added extra mushrooms (it's portobello). Received our order between 10-15 minutes. Had to take it to-go as our baby was tired and getting restless. The pizza box had a few sprigs of basil inside that made opening the box a lovely experience. Not only was the pizza cooked to perfection, the taste was on point too! The white sauce was perfect, not too much or too little. The ricotta was on every bite. And the mushrooms were plentiful! My only issue is not ordering it in a large size. I would love to try this place again while I'm visiting. I can see why they are a local favorite!

Went there on recommendation that they had the best wings and my son loves wings. I don't eat meat so I ordered a cheese sub. They charged me for an Italian sub which seemed like a lot. The owner made the price less and made sure I was happy. My son said they were definitely the best wings he ever had and the ranch tased homemade and the sub on the sourdough was fantastic. We will definitely be going back!

The specialty pizzas are AMAZING! We really love the unique flavor profiles, they are delicious 😋 😋. The thin crust is delicious, our dog is mad because there are no pizza crusts for her. We are enjoying trying everything on the menu. The pizza takes about 20 minutes. We usually order online (so easy) and then pick up. The one time we had delivery on a NASTY day because we were sick it was still quickly delivered by one of the owners. The owners and staff are very friendly. They have come to know us even though we only order occasionally.

First time ever ordering from here, I purchased for my family Grumpy’s bone-in wings, mozzarella sticks, made to order garlic knots, and a large meat lovers pizza. The food was delicious. We were all impressed and are now looking forward to ordering here again.

The sauce on my margarita pizza was soooo good! I really enjoyed they are very generous with the sauce on their pizza!! Best pizza iv had in a long time and the salads were big and delicious as well! Hats off to the chef!

Probably one of my favorite pizza places in the area. Cheese, well done is excellent. I grew up in St. Louis and miss toasted ravs quite a bit, although not meat, these a pretty legit. Highly recommend this spot for 🍕

By far one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. Found them on Google as I was looking for pizza to serve family on Easter. Since then it’s the only pizza we all order. Everyone who tried it said it tastes like gourmet pizza and they are 100% correct! It’s not your regular pizza dough, sauce or cheese.

My husband and I order frequently, almost every week. Everything is perfect from the food to the service. Everything is always neatly presented, and they really go out of their way to make sure that you have everything you need (i. e. - generous with dips/sauces). The owners are amazing and so personable.

Stumbled upon this hidden gem for a late night bite and was not disappointed. Every flavor from the crust, sauce to the cheese was on point. Ordered just a plain cheese pizza and the fresh basil on the side was a very nice touch. My only regret was not ordering a larger size pizza :)

Best pizza I've had in NJ. Really good ingredients, taste and the ability to order a cook on the crust. One of my favs is the square slice from Prince St, and Grumpys kinda has their own version of it. Different but delicious. Staff is also friendly. If you're in Bergen order from here!

I ordered 2 personal pizzas from Uber Eats (both were the same). Mozzarella (which was suppose to be standard for the regular pie anything else wouldve costs more as it stated EXTRA mozzarella) , Ricotta cheese, jalapeños and meatballs, with a pesto base (soft bake, regular crust). It was dry AF, burnt at the bottom, no mozzarella just Ricotta and no meaballs but what looked to be old ground meat flakes, yes flakes . That was my first and last time getting anything from there.

The staff at Grumpy’s is very friendly and accommodating. The pizza is THE BEST!!!

Unfortunately, our pizzas were super greasy, bread that came with food had actual mold on it! I don't like giving negative reviews, but this food honestly disappointed us GREATLY. The owner reached out, offered a full refund as well as apologized for the poor pizza. Mistakes happen, and I appreciate the excellent customer service after the fact.

Revamped review : so i originally left a bad review because of an employee who was cursing too much with my kids dining in. And a few other things I won’t get into. While the pizza wasn’t my cup of tea , to be fair the owners weren’t there and that may have effected it and I believe the employee definitely didn’t get the ratio of any of the toppings right .. I’m giving 5 stars however because Marcelo actually reached out and took care of me and spoke to me as if he was the client. Which is why I’m making it an negative to a positive Stand up move in a post Covid world where customer service seems to have gotten worse than ever Next time I hope I have the pleasure to see Marcelo on the front line which seems as if he usually is !

The Neo Margherita 10” pizza (trending!) was nothing special at all. At best it’s a thin crust bar pie. Sauce had that dishwater taste pizza sometimes has. Wasn’t anything particularly fresh or tasty about it. Awful parking situation. Place was empty but lot was completely full. Very curious about all the fab reviews??? Won’t be back.

Visited them on Mother's Day for the first time. Seemed more like a grab/go place but the dining experience was pretty homely and simple. There were a few others that were dining in as well. A memorable slice of pizza. Don't know how they do it but their plain cheese slice is one of the best I've had in a while - crispy crust, maybe a little hint of sweet in the sauce and not too greasy but fully covered in cheese. The triple threat was also awesome (Grandma style with red sauce, vodka sauce, and pesto - it works!).

It's an amazing unique type of pizza that holds up to the toppings but also has shines at the end when you eat the crust. You definitely won't be Grumpy after eating at Grumpy’s. This is an awesome find. You should all try this pizza. I specifically recommend their square pizza. It is delicious to the last bite!!! My only concern is that the place needs some serious cleaning to do! It is a little bit scary when you start looking around the floors and the kitchen on the back. Seriously folks you have the best pizza in the area, please clean up the place!

Was sitting in traffic on I-80 started to get hungry looked up food near me and found a diamond in the rough. Got myself two specialty slices a chicken bacon ranch and a buffalo chicken and when I say it's hands down one of the best pizzas you'll ever taste, I mean it. If you enjoy pizza, this is a must try place. Service is excellent and fast. Stop on in and ģive your taste buds a treat.

They gave me a pizza that it was burned a lot when I asked about a not burned pizza. It cost a lot of money and the bread looks and taste old. I don’t like this place and I do not recommended.

Great good for a great price! I ordered a bacon chicken ranch wrap which came with fries and chips for $12, it was very good and fresh. The mini pizzas came with four huge slices. The vodka chicken sauce pizza was amazing! The chicken wings were tasty and not too saucy.

Delicious, very well made, piping hot pizza straight out of the oven. The thin crust is exceptional well done, and the cheese & topics have just the right consistency: neither falling off the crust nor being glued onto it. Staff is friendly & helpful, a breath of fresh air compared to some other businesses. One can tell this restaurant is run by people who care. Seating is limited, with only 2-3 available tables. Parking can be a little bit of a challenge as-well, but it’s worth getting through to taste the food. Worthy to include as a planned stop for lunch or dinner. Well worth the price for what one can expect to receive.

I love everything about this pizzeria: the owners, the service, and especially the food. It makes no sense how much I travel from NYC to come get Grumpy’s. I bring someone new with me every single time. I wish you all continued success, them positive vibes and warm smiles are felt every single time.

Visiting Grumpys for the Pizza Hunters App and was not disappointed. Parking can be tricky. There are only 4 parking spots behind the Pizzeria..I wound up parking across the street and patronizing the Deli as well in the process. I didn't even get all the way inside the door and was greeted immediately with a Hello, Welcome and How are You. Service was excellent and the price point was excellent. A lot of great Pizza for your money. It took me a little to find the words for this Pizza. The Crispy crust is definitely the highlight. Followed by the Sauce and Cheese. Really, the pizza has its own unique style and delivery. It all works. At one point, I thought maybe a little more sauce, since i am a big fan, but once it hits your taste Buds, you realize that it all works perfectly together and that's what makes it unique as a Grumpys Pizza. Best pizza in the area! For my 37th my wife and friends got together to go on a "pizza crawl" through North NJ to check out some places we hadn't tried before. I consider myself to be incredibly particular, knowledgeable, and sometimes judgmental about pizza - and wow... Grumpy's pizza is truly a work of art. The crispy bite is just perfect along with fresh cheese and sauce in a delicious ratio. You can tell they use high quality ingredients and care about the product they serve. A lot of places cut corners or get comfortable because their pizza is "good enough" for the masses - but Grumpy's gets it right. Checks all of the boxes. It was hard to pick just two but we went with the classic and one with hot honey pep and chicken. Both incredible. Will be back for marg style soon. We also loved the authentic family/old-school atmosphere. The owner and his family were there and super friendly. Honestly felt like I was in Naples. Love supporting a place like this! Couldn't ask for a better pizza spot in NJ. 5/5 easy!

I got the Big Grumpy pie and was impressed. Kinda pricey but worth it! Well, 1 year later, I tried the Drunken grandma pie with garlic crust, medium done. Creamy tomato sauce with heavy parmesan flavor, and crispy crust. Oh so good! I'm gonna have to make a detour here more often to try everything else....

Wow, Grumpy's Pizza Co. knows their pizza. Tried The Big Grump and Drunk Chicken Parm, and both were fantastic. The Big Grump was a flavor explosion, with a crust that's crispy on the outside, soft inside, and just topped perfectly. The Drunk Chicken Parm? Total game changer. Tender chicken with a unique boozy twist, all covered in tangy sauce and melty cheese. Absolute masterpiece. Went with the personal size for both, which was just right. Enough to be satisfied without feeling stuffed, great for sampling a range of flavors. Just a heads-up: Grumpy's is super popular. In my opinion, it's easily one of the top 5 pizza places in Jersey. If you're ordering during rush hours, give yourself some extra time. It's a highlight of the town, totally worth the bit of extra planning to skip the wait. If you’re after some top-tier pizza with a twist, Grumpy's is the place. Despite the name, it's all about fantastic flavors here. 10/10, highly recommend!
