Our savory food was flavorless, yet oily; customer service was friendly, yet unhelpful; and the questions/concerns I'd emailed to HaleLife went ignored/ not replied to. I will never return and will never recommend their businesses. #ThumbsDown

A cafe with overpriced food that was not that good and atmosphere was a little unwelcoming.

I bought 2 frozen tarts to try and was very disappointed in the flavor of it. It really had no taste at all.

Delicious donuts and excellent service!

I went to the DTSP location. A young man waited on me and was very helpful and knowledgeable about the products and how to help me best lol I have so many allergies and it was my first visit! I ended up leaving with 3 different pastries to share with my girlfriend and each one was amazing! She’s not gluten free but lactose free. She was very surprised how good the cookie was! I actually tried the donut first as I hadn’t had one for 10 years! AMAZING! Thank you for allowing me and people like me with crazy allergies to enjoy desserts and treats like everyone else 🙏♥️🌹

I had high expectations for this place because of the reviews. I have been gluten-free and vegan for quite a while and it’s hard to find a place that has good desserts that are close to the “real thing.” The donuts were not very good at all. The cupcakes were ok. I think the frosting is what made them good. Not sure I’d venture back.

i have literally never had less than an incredible experience here. all the workers are SO sweet and are really helpful in giving great suggestions for sweets. it’s really hard to find good options for allergy-friendly sweets, but they have so many great options and everything tastes delicious. honestly this place has made my day better on multiple occasions. CANT RECOMMEND ENOUGH!!! :)

I have no reason to go here except for my own personal tastes. I prefer the consistency of gf baked goods and don’t think the “conventional” way is the only way to bake delicious treats. I do love getting items like this for my family, and if they are good, my family will have no idea it’s anything but normal. Sooo…gingerbread donut and apple crisp donut. Fabulous! Soft, flavorful, satisfying. Husband loved his and had no idea until I told him. The employee here, too, was very engaging and helpful. This location opens a bit later (10 or 11 depending on day), but must cater a bit differently in this location. Would return for sure, and try more. Yum!!

i recently just changed to a gluten-free diet due to a hormonal imbalance! i always love their doughnuts, especially the strawberry cheesecake is..godly! i've also tried their new brunch menu and it's absolutely amazing, my favorite stop before i go into my evening shift in downtown!

Just look at the picture associated with this review, and you know you're supposed to eat here, and spend a lot of $$$. It'll be worth it for sure - the friendliness (from Ren in the pic), the deliciousness, and the ability to get last minute Thanksgiving gluten free dinner rolls for my woman makes this a GREAT place to return to. Love it.

Not gluten free, but my friend is, so we made a trip up to try it. Tbh, the raspberry cupcake is one of the best cupcakes I’ve had in a while, gf or not. Super friendly helpful server, everything was delicious. Will definitely come back when we’re in the area!

HaleLife Bakery is the absolute best when it comes to finding delicious sweets without allergens. Their cookies and doughnuts are unique and taste incredible!! I love their autumn seasonal flavors. The blueberry lemon doughnut, cosmic brownie doughnut, oatmeal cream pie, pumpkin cream pie, and pumpkin ice cream Sammie’s are a MUST try!!!

Great concept, but rude customer service. My uncle was visiting town and excited to try Halelife Bakery. He's been talking about it all week. He bought some plain chocolates from kilwins in a sealed box in a paper bag that he planned on putting in his suitcase. The woman was really snippy and told us we couldn't have the box of chocolates in the store because of cross contamination. We told her about the sealed box and she still gave us a hard time. I could understand if he was eating anything but he wasnt. We were customers buying stuff togo. No reccomndedations, just an unhappy employee. We felt awkward the entire time. The desserts themselves were just okay. I've had their stuff before at their other location and my friends Bachelorette party, and honestly I wasn't impressed this time. With desserts costing $6 a piece we'd hope for better food & service.

The owner is super kind and gave us a great beach recommendation (we were visiting). As someone with tons of allergies, this place was so fun to try!! Their cupcakes are moist and good but the star of the show were their breakfast sandwiches omg. Me and my cousins got a different kind per person and tried them all, they were delicious!! Especially the artichoke one, and I’ve never had artichoke before! This small business is definitely worth your time. The vibe, food and service were amazing!

I loved this place so much. I have crohns disease so it is hard to find really good treats for myself to enjoy. I go up one a month for medical reasons and I found this place. It looks beautiful on the inside but the treats are where it is at. I got a Twix Cupcake, a Cookie Dough Donut, and a Cinnamon Toast Donut. The cinnamon toast Donut was so good that I forgot to take a photo for this review due to how good it was. I also took one sample each of their exclusive cookies (Frosted Animal Cracker + Macadamia Not) for my mom to try. She may not share my diet but even she was a fan of these desserts. I would recommend this place to anyone with crohns or other allergies to gluten or dairy.

Absolutely delicious. The food speaks for itself. But also, the icing on top 😂 is the CUSTOMER SERVICE. Friendly, professional, upbeat. Can’t beat it. Will definitely be back.

Absolutely wonderful bakery! Jared was so helpful and kind. Wish we lived nearby so we could visit more often. My daughter with Celiac loved being able to order anything. It was delicious! Highly recommend!!!

Great location. CX service was awesome.

I downgraded the rating due to reduced quality and customer service. The last several times we came here our treats tasted stale, and the servers have been awful. You get better gf cupcakes at Publix, with far better service. Even Publix's frozen donuts are better than the recent donuts at Hale, and you get a whole box instead of just one. The Lucy's cupcakes at Sprouts are much better... And again, you get a box instead of one. Last month we went in for my wife's birthday, and the kid wouldn't give her a birthday cupcake even though she was in the system and had gotten them for five years.

I'm not allergic to gluten so I don't eat gluten free food. But I am a vegan so I had to try this place out. If you have major allergies I can't imagine how wonderful it must be to finally be able to go to a bakery and know you can order safely (since this is the only allergy friendly place I know of). For that, the place deserves a million stars. I was pretty shocked that the cupcakes weren't as greasy as every other gluten free vegan one I've had from other places. The frosting was a little gritty but easy to ignore. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because 1. The cupcakes are small for the price (a cupcake is $5 when you can get a big slice of cake from wevegan for $6.50). 2. There wasn't a whole lot of flavor difference between cupcakes. Other than that, nice staff, awesome idea/service, tasty products.

I been a couple of times, ok maybe 7 now. First 3 times workers very rude, I happened to go one more time, I meet the manager and I told her about my unpleasant experience, she was told about the same problem. The first 2 times never knew of a rewards after spending almost 50 my 2 trips on cupcakes. She was very nice and apologized for their actions. I told her as a consumer paying over 5 for a single cupcake should at least have a friendly greeting and that's at any place. I have to say their cupcakes are all vegan and absolutely delicious. She's the only reason I will go back. They sell dough cakes cookies muffin tops absolutely a must try for vegans.

Popped in today for the first time after a LONG run and was craving a treat. It’s such a blessing to be able to get something sweet that also is gluten and dairy free, as I rarely find delicious desserts that won’t make me feel sick after. I had the Oreo donut, and it’s was too good! Super decadent, while still having a nice fluffiness and not dense at all. The woman I chatted with (Kim, maybe?) couldn’t have been nicer. I definitely will return!

oh my oh my... let me tell you.. I have had to be gluten free since July. Yeah I've eatena few things here and a few things there that were gluten free.. Listen I'm blunt.. the donut was not exactly the taste I was hoping for it was a little dry, but WAIT!! then we got home and had a cupcake I was not expecting this delicious moistness of perfection in this little round treat. My hubby gave me enough to buy a box full because we have a wedding coming up and I wanted to have an idea what I could eat. Let me tell you gluten free, dairy, egg and nut free... what left DELICIOUS is what's left I am not sure what it is but they've done it right!!! My oh my!!!

As a Canadian visiting sunny Florida, I was so happy to stumble upon this gem of a place when trying to find donut options for our future wedding down here!

This place was fantastic! Options that were fun instead of the same old stuff and it had a great atmosphere. Everything looked delicious and the doughnuts we got were amazing!

Super disappointed in HaleLife bakery. I was trying to order a cake for 25 people for my son’s 1st birthday and was told by the St Pete location to place order 2-3 weeks out with the Clearwater store. Was told by the Clearwater store that I could only do it online so I placed my order at 2.5 weeks. All I wanted was a forest green colored cake so I could add my own toppers I purchased with a camping theme and was told there wasn’t enough time to do that. The website also says to place orders 2-3 weeks in advance. Tried to even do a grab and go cakes but those only come in the 6” size not 8” which is what the website says. Your website is very misleading and your partner stores are providing inaccurate information.

A Celiac’s dream destination! This is the first time I’ve ever had a high quality GF donut. I was pleasantly overwhelmed to know that I could safely eat donuts, muffins, cinnamon rolls, breakfast sandwiches and more! The owner was there at the time, and she was so helpful referring us to other safe GF restaurants in town. We live in Nebraska, but will definitely be back on our next trip!

I've been dairy free for a couple years so I was excited to try their desserts! These are honestly the BEST vegan desserts I've had yet. We got a cupcake, donut, and ice cream sandwich. The chocolate mint ice cream sandwich was out of this world.

We are visiting St Pete for our 25th wedding anniversary! I found HaleLife on google and I’m so glad I did! I am gluten & dairy free for medical reasons and It’s a bummer to have to pass on desert because of ingredients, but not this time! HaleLife was easy to find, but not so easy to choose what to get! The gingerbread donut was recommended to me as it was explained to be light and not so sweet. Anyone who knows me well will tell you I DO NOT eat donuts, but I am so glad I did! It went perfectly with coffee purchased at the Wooden Rooster (another great find just on the next block!) We also tried the brownie - so delicious! Please go and support this wonderful shop! 🧁🤍🍩 They have a very wide selection of allergy free treats!

Given that the bakery is gluten-free, I am blown away by the texture and consistency. The donut is flavorful and not too sweet. Huge selection- all vegan. All GF.

Ordered some goodies for thanksgiving.. the apple pie was a hit! Spinach artichoke dip was delish. Easy ordering process and swift pick up! Thanks so much!

We get it for my kid and she has liked everything she has gotten. So thats a plus in my book. Doughnuts have been good, grilled cheese, last items were pretzel bites and artichoke dip. She liked those. Pumpkin pie she was not fond of compared to the one we make at home.

There were so many choices, it was hard to choose. We bought 2 donuts - chocolate brownie and apple pie. Light, tender cake with delicious toppings (ganache and glaze). Not too sweet - perfect treat!

Very small. Only pastry items can be found here. The pastry are delicious. No coffee. Expensive I bought a dozen and it cost 60$ it's all vegan though and decorated beautifully.

My donut was a quarter frozen. It was from a case so I was expecting a room temp baked good or even warm. Very disappointing to have my first donut in years here. I could get frozen gf donuts at Publix for the same experience.

What a delicious treat! We tried the Lemon Blueberry donut, the Chocolate Lava brownie and the Oreo Cheesecake donut (L to R). They all were amazing, and you don't feel guilty eating it. I highly recommend you try!

Wanted to try this place for awhile. Got there @ 11am on a Sunday. Ordered 4 donuts from Anna. After we got home discovered she gave us 3 and charged us for 2 ! We bit into the donuts and they were FROZEN !! Not a very good first impression. Probably ly won't be back .

Pretty fantastic stuff; it’s generally challenging to find places that are gluten-free/vegan/allergy-friendly, and even more difficult to find places where the things they make also tastes good. This place is great :)

Simply delicious!! We tried several but my favorites were the Mango Passionfruit and Cinnamon Toast Crunch Donuts.

I really enjoy this bakery and what it offers. The environment and employees are welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The baked goods are great, and I love that they are a healthy alternative to processed goods. My partner and I really liked the donut we had there. It was a tasty treat!

It took me almost a year of being gluten/dairy free to find this place and I’m so glad I did! Everything I’ve had so far has been delicious and a super special treat since I thought I would never eat a proper donut (and bread and muffin and cupcake) again!

My girlfriend and I went there for the first today and had a good experience. There were a lot of gluten-free and healthy choices made with real products. We went in the afternoon and there was not a wait. The lovely lady behind the counter was very helpful and answering our questions and offering suggestions. We tried the donuts and we're really happy with that choice. Going to go back again and try the other desserts, especially the cinnamon buns!

I recently discovered I have a gluten intolerance but I have a sweet tooth. I was amazed at how good the Oreo and Boston creme donuts were. Honestly this place is a Godsend. So yummy. 5 stars 🌟

We went here and tried a variety of products. My favorite treats here were the chocolate based cupcakes- they were moist and delicious. The cupcakes with vanilla base were all a bit on the dry/crumbly side. The doughnuts were good but like cake in doughnut shape. The cinnamon rolls we took home to bake were a real winner and our little one loved them most of all- we did not add icing but they were very good. Ice cream sandwich cookies were good- not overly sweet. We tried the take and bake pretzel bites- these were horrible and I would not recommend them. If you've ever tasted salt dough- like home made play dough... it tasted exactly like that. Overall lots of yummy things to try, good place to stop for a treat- and nice to be able to have everything gluten and dairy free for the most part.

This bakery is amazing! Everything we got was fresh and delicious. It's great for once having so many vegan and gluten free choices, at other places we only get one option if we're lucky. The variety is so incredible and every single thing looks delicious! 🍩

My girlfriend is vegan and I have allergies so I got some of the donuts for us to celebrate.because they addressed both issues! I requested if possible that they put something birthday-ish on one donut. And they did! The donuts were delicious. Taste best a little warmed in the microwave or I guess oven. I also grabbed some of the stuffed garlic bread. We will definitely be back!

We celebrated my Retirement and Birthday over Memorial Day 2022 weekend. Instead of the typical cake, we ordered an assortment of delicious cupcakes from HaleLife Bakery. Oh my gosh...DELICIOUS and BEAUTIFUL! The customer service when we ordered and picked up was friendly and curious. We certainly will be going back...we recommend HaleLife Bakery!

Halelife is absolutely wonderful! It’s always so stressful trying to find something that I can have. I’ve known for a long time I couldn’t have gluten. But with a recent confirmation that I have celiac, I am more careful then ever. Every time I walk in a location I feel overwhelmed in the best way! Being able to choose absolutely anything in store without a worry is the best feeling. Hands down the best gluten free/allergy friendly desserts I have ever had!

I have a pretty restricted diet due to a body that hates everything I eat so finding dessert that is vegan, gluten-free, and free of artificial sweeteners and dyes was so hard! Finding HaleLife has been such a gamechanger. All the desserts are so good without feeling like I'm in danger of a digestion issue. The staff have also been tremendously pleasant every time I've gone in. So grateful they exist and it's an absolute struggle not to go in here every day because I'm always craving their donuts!!

We needed a specific cake for our intimate wedding, and HaleLife Bakery did not disappoint! I requested a lovely small, white on white, gluten free, vegan, coconut cake! The cake was just what we wanted! So delicious—not a singe bite was left—a bit of a disappointment for the bride and groom!! I would highly recommend this bakery for any occasion! 5 stars!!!!

First time trying HaleLife and I'm super impressed. These donuts held up beautifully throughout the delivery process & look just as good as the pictures. I feel like it should go without saying that the flavors were just as good as the presentation if not better! I had zero reactions after eating these as well.

I was totally blown away by the tastes. I could not tell that the pastries were Vegan, dairy free. They were delicious. I especially loved the brownie. Hats off to the baker. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well. I will be back. If you haven't tried it, please do so.

The donuts and pastries at HaleLife are incredible. Somehow they've removed all of the allergens without removing any of the taste. The price is pretty steep, but if you have a family member with Algeria this is the place to go!

I have Celiac disease so to find a bakery that caters to persons with gluten issues is great! We've tried the donuts and the cupcakes and they were both delicious. Different consistencies (expected) but you would never know they were gluten free.. Fillings and buttercream also top-notch! Hard to choose from. If you need or want to be gluten-free, give them a try. You won't be disappointed.

I decided on my birthday to follow a nutritarian plant based way of life. I wanted to be able to celebrate the occasion as “normal” as possible and still honor my decision to live plant based. I sent my husband to the bakery to pick out cupcakes for my party. I expected the typical cardboard cups but was pleasantly surprised by the taste, texture, and healthy ingredients! This will always be my go to bakery!

Worth the drive to! I've tried a number of items and everything has been delicious. The cupcakes are moist and taste amazing. The donuts are like cake donuts with yummy icing.. I've had their cheese bread rolls and the dinner rolls- both went great with my GF pasta night. Their order ahead is easy to do! Just wish we had a Bakery in westchase!

Store in south Tampa is welcoming & staff is very nice. I bought a mini cinnamon apple bread loaf (mini is right, about 2x6", $7). I also tried a chocolate mousse brownie. The apple cinnamon bread was very crumbly & grainy. The recipe must have rice flour in it, as the texture was very sand-like & needs more cinnamon. The brownie was more like a piece of chocolate cake, not chewy & not nearly enough chocolate flavor. I make one that is crackly on top & chewy in between (my preference in a brownie). I really wanted to try & love these gluten-free pastries since I've been cooking gluten-free since 2014. I may try the bread next, just to give it another chance.

I just started eliminating dairy from my diet and I was so excited to see this place open in downtown St Pete! I am always skeptical of vegan baked goods -- there are many out there that are not good. This place is AMAZING. I stopped in to try a cupcake and it blew me away. The flavor was awesome and the texture was actually nice to eat. I will definitely be back again and again.

My daughter and I traveled to Tampa, Florida on a business trip.While we were there, I started searching for a vegan restaurant and found Halelife Bakery. The pastries were delicious. They were filled with flavors and very light and fluffy. My daughter failed in love with the pastries. She could not eating them and the amazing part of this story is she danced around the hotel room as she doubled down on the pastry. She even FaceTime her sister and nephew so that she could show the pastries to them. So last week she had to return to Tampa and she was determined to pick up more pastries to bring back for the whole family. If you visit Florida, please visit Halelife Bakery. You will not be disappointed.

This place has really amazing vegan donuts, cupcakes and donuts. The flavors are sweet but they are unique and delicious. If you sign up for the newsletter, you get a free baked good when you go in! We have even had non vegan friends go here and enjoy their pastries. It’s always a stop when we are nearby!
