Perfect little place.Great beer selection and food was spot on!

My wife and I visited this brewery and had such a great time. The beer selection was great and tasted good. We happened to go on 80's night and thought we wouldn't find a spot to sit. But the place is bigger than it seemed from the outside. A lot of guests and everyone was enjoying themselves. We ordered food straight from the table on our phones and it was brought out to us. We stayed all the way until closing. Met the owners of the brewery, who were an extremely nice married couple. Also met the head brewer who set the vibe all night as the VDJ (video DJ) dressed as Michael Jackson and even taking requests. We will definitely be coming back. They mentioned they'll be having a 90's night soon.

Nice chill vibe to grab a beer or sangria slushy. We originally found Half Barrel about 3 years ago and specially come back for the sours. They have a great key lime sour and sangria slushy is tasty

This is an awesome place to taste beers . They made their own beer and also have different options from Florida.

Chill little tap room with some solid beer options. I had the Double IPA and the StarBurst Sour. The sour was really nice, tasted exactly as advertised and it looked the part too :) The IPA was good, pretty standard DIPA, super drinkable. Staff was friendly while I was there. Decent amount of seating and it was a cool spot.

Bartender provided great service and knowledge of beers, Will definitely return.

Have been coming here for years but haven't been recently. And they have expanded into the space next door! They have a full menu for food now and the same exceptional selection of home, local, and amazing beers! We didn't get to try the food but we will next time!

Very nice surprise, excellent selection of American craft beers on tap and in cans. The server was very friendly and helpful. I didn't taste the food but it looked good and was served quickly.

Great spot for craft beer, also has a full food menu, with loads of “made in house” items. 5 stars… would recommend.

A great place to hang out after work

It was an unexpected bonus to find a fun beer bar and microbrewery so close to my Orlando rental condo. Staff was great, atmosphere was comfortable and the selection of craft brews was impressive. They only had two in-house brews on tap when I went, but the one I tried was incredible.

This hole-in-the-wall suburban brewery is a surprisingly big interior looking from the outside, more than capable of accommodation a small group of friends or a couple getting together for some craft beer or wine. The environment was cozy with a mix of tables and lounge furniture as well as a bar. Drink offerings were mostly sours or hop-forward ales, which will appeal to most drinkers.

I have gone to several breweries throughout the state of Florida, supermarkets, restaurants and my Driver's license from my country of origin was enough. In this restaurant, after showing them the license, they asked me for my passport; since I didn't have it, they didn't sell me the beer. It seemed strange to me because it was the first time it had happened to me. My identification document was a Canadian Driver's license.

They always have a great selection of craft beers on draft and in the cooler. Laid back atmosphere with really friendly and knowledgeable staff. Wes is the best in town! They have a small selection of food including pizza and pretzels. They have a food truck right outside on most nights and you can always bring your own food.

There is so much to say about this great establishment. The beer is tasty, the staff exceptional and they always make you feel at home. If you love craft beer and family owned businesses...this is the spot.

Great little brewery we stumbled upon after a day at the parks and shopping at the outlet malls. Good selection of beers and food. Lots of TV’s to watch all the sporting events. The Bartender was friendly and attentive

The beer that they brew onsite is fantastic a little bit limited due to being a nano brewery with a half-barrel system. They have great guest taps. The bartenders are super knowledgeable about all the beers and the inside of the brewery is well-themed and nice. The brewery is a little on the small side and is in an apartment complex so the outside seating is super limited. Overall this is a fantastic place and would recommend any beer lover to come visit.

Awesome selection of cans and bottles from East of the Mississippi. They are growing and had only a few sours from their own brewery, but had an awesome selection from around Florida while building out.

If you are ever in Orlando, please check out Half Barrel Beer Project. They have an eclectic selection of beer, ale, and IPAs that will hit the spot. I highly recommend a visit; we definitely will put this place on our list of favorite places.

We really enjoyed Half Barrel Beer Project. We both got a flight and split the pretzel and a 9 inch pizza with jalepeno on it. The beers were really good and we loved the pretzel and beer cheese. The pizza was also a very good pizza. It was a fun afternoon sampling beers and snacking. I highly recommend a visit!

Nice cozy tap room tucked in an upscale apartment/resort complex. Recommend, but a limited selection. They have 20 taps, but this isn’t quite enough to satisfy everyone’s pallet. However, beers change out almost daily according to the bartender. The beers a good though. They have a limited menu including pizza and a giant pretzel (that I had which was large and good. It came with 2 mustards and a cheese dip. Wish I’d taken a pic before I tore it apart).

THE best place to enjoy some local libations . There was a German food truck outside, that had the best bratwurst I've had outside Wisconsin . Paired very well with the beer choices. Very cool layed back place to chill.

I liked the atmosphere of this place a lot. It's in a touristy area (I-Drive) so it was nicer than I expected. They also had a huge fridge of cans to enjoy on-site or to take home. The beer on tap was pretty good, though certainly not the best I ever had. Very friendly staff as well. I don't think I would go back, but if you are in the area it's definitely worth a stop if this is your kind of thing -- I'm glad I went and crossed this off my list.

Really nice place for a cold pint. Probably one of the cleanest bars I ever visited, they really look into the details and provide a great selection of beers from all over the country. Staff is knowledgeable and always available to help. Definitely recommend a visit...

Such a cool little local spot. For a small brewey they make fantastic beer. Try the local ipa. When conventions are in town it gets busy but they do a fantastic job with managing the over flow. Highly recommend 👌

Great place for craft beer by I Drive, was there for a food pop up and their selections were really good. Bien fuegos BBQ was killing it with the sandwiches as always.

Was looking for a local brewery while on vacation and came across this place. Not only do they have some of their own brews but many choices from around the state. Great atmosphere, great selection, and excellent service and we will be back!

Kind of tucked away, with a small entrance. But easy to find if you're looking. Brewpub with fairly limited seating. They offered about 12 beer on tap, with a good portion being Florida beers. The ambience was nice, and the bartender was helpful. Didn't strike me as a well-known place to frequent, but it wasn't empty either. I enjoyed my time there.

A new favorite hangout after work for beer (nice selection) and pizza (they serve pizza, pretzels and snickers). Ladies room is super clean, nice touch with the soap etc. Beertender is knowledgeable and patient (answering all our questions).

Am I an alcoholic if I came to Orlando, am five miles from Disney, and still came here first?! I am three for three with craft beer bars in Florida and they are all similar yet so different. In Miami you have Union, which actually has a similar setup as Half Barrel in terms of being a hybrid taproom and beer store but the vibe is 90s pop culture and wrestling at Union. Oil Well near Naples is hidden and has a wealthy clientele but has outstanding beers. Here at Half Barrel it’s rap, with sports bar and brewery vibes with all walks of life, from 21 to 81. And a superb beer selection. Saturday night and despite being far south of the city, business is good. Definitely recommend this place to beer aficionados.

My husband and I are big fans of craft beer and love to try as many good local breweries as possible when on holiday. We visited Half Barrel twice during our visit from the UK and they had the best beers on draft and in cans by miles during our visit. They had also brewed their own exceptional fruit sour which was probably my beer of the the holiday and we had a lot! Decent prezel & pizza offering kept us glued to the bar trying more local brews. Locals were friendly which you don't always get as a tourist but they were curious to know how we'd found it and what we thought :-) Bartenders both times were lovely. Brilliant set up you have, really very impressed. Also, as a side note, a wonderful ladies loo ha! As a female craft beer lover, its not something I can very often praise in a bar ;-) I would 100% recommend and I hope you have many more successful years to come.
