Went in Thursday evening- not too busy. We had the signature pork spare ribs and back-bone stew. Also came with rice and bowl of salad. Everything is family style and really good. The stew: good portion, tasty, and my personal favorite. Pork ribs: My friends did say the pork ribs were one of the best they tasted. Parking was easy in the back garage with valet $5. Also had covered outdoor seating, saw a small dog there so I think dogs are allowed on the patio.

It's nice that the lady who serves the food is comfortable and makes you feel good, and the food is delicious.

Thanks to the always generous host, it's a delicious and generous meal :) The meat is sweet and delicious, the gamjatang and cheonggukjang are the best here, the salad provided is generous so you don't feel greasy, and none of the side dishes are delicious. I think it's the most delicious restaurant in Hanta, to the extent that there aren't any! In these recessionary times, the landlady always treats me so friendly that I feel like I'm visiting my mom :)

Everything else was good, but the pork ribs were delicious. Everything was good, but sweet.... I would give it a full score even if it wasn't too sweet, except 1 point because it was too sweet... The pork ribs were delicious, except that they were a bit sweet. The staff was friendly. I went around 4:30 in the evening, so there weren't many people. It was good. I woke up around 5:30 and saw a lot of people coming in. It was delicious. I will go again next time. The only thing I didn't like was the food was too sweet for me...

Don't order 감자탕... it is about the worst food I ever had at a restaurant !!

If I could give zero stars I would. The service was extremely rude. The banchan was super sour, so I could tell they were old. The food was also just not good. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

30년만에 가본 Pico & Crenshaw에 있는 함지박, 예전에 분위기는 뭔가 서민식당 같은 분위기에 왁자지껄 했는데... 6th & Kenmore에 분점이 있는데, 지금은 여기가 본점인지 분점인지 모르겠으나 퉁명스러운 아줌마 밥먹기 전부터 기분 살짝 나빠짐.

Wowww this place was so good. I was super surprised at how fast everything came out. So much food!! I don’t even know what we ate since my boyfriends dad was the one that ordered everything but I literally fell in love with everything. Whatever they put in the salad, chefs kiss. I have never eaten so much salad. Overall amazing food, extremely fast service, cute small environment. Will come again!

너무 황당한데 한국을 돌아와버려 문의 남길 곳이 없어 구글 리뷰적어요 마칠때쯤 가서 식사 맛있게 잘 했습니다 근데 계산하고 나왔더니 직원분께서 달려오셔서 차를 똑똑하셨어요 팁 안 내셨다고 그래서 당황하고 팁을 현금으로 드렸습니다 그런데 한국와서 보니 최초결제했던 내용이 아닌 팁까지 포함된 금액으로 재결제를 해놓으셨던데 너무 황당하네요;;팁을 카드로 계산할경우 토탈금액으로 무승인매입 되는 경우는 알았지만 이렇게 현금으로 냈음에도 다시 추가해서 결제되는 경우는 뭔지;;이 글 보시면 제발 카드 승인 취소 부탁드립니다

손님도 없어서 많은 테이블이 있는데 입구구석 테이블을 줬는데 테이블 아래며 너무 더러웠다..그래도 맛있게 먹고, 화장실을 갔는데 OMG...변기 안도 너무 더러웠고 화장실안 자체도 말로 표현할수 없을만큼 더러웠다. 가격이ㅕ 소주값은 업그레이드 됐는데, 화장실은 왜 업그레이드 안하는지...별로 가고 싶지 않다.

Great place for tasty grilled pork rib, gamja tang (stew made with pork's neck bone), and other dishes. They offer generous portion and reasonable price. And avove all, it,s yummy!!!

This place is known for the pork neck stew and the pork spare ribs. We usually get the pork neck stew. It’s even better to take it home to eat at the comfort of your home because it can get a bit messy. The pork meat is so tender and juicy and full of rich flavor. The broth is so good that you want to drink every drop or mix some rice into it. Everything is so tender and soft that the meat easily comes off the bone. Also the tendon and cartilage is the best part. I have to warn you that it’s a tad bit spicy but if you’re use to spicy foods, this should be fine. Make sure to also try the pork spare ribs too. The second best item on the menu. The ribs have a sweet and spicy marinade on it and the taste is super delicious. Order the pork neck stew and the pork spare ribs as a pair. This amount of food will be good for 3-4 people. They have parking in the back and if you’re lucky street parking is available.

Great pork ribs and soy bean paste soup, but the place is pretty run down and they had some leaking issues in the kitchen which overflowed to the hallway and was reeking of chlorine smell while trying to enjoy my food

Absolutely one of the best pork spare ribs in the country. Rivals anything out there and there really is nothing like it. Other dishes are good too but always come back for the ribs. Oh and the salad and sides are amazing as well.

점심시간이 아닐때 와서 그런지는 모르겠지만 생각보다 좀 많이 불친절 하시네요;; (3시에 왔습니다) 그래도 고기맛은 뭐… 돼지갈비가 설탕이 많이 들어간거 같고요… 다른건 뭐 그럭저럭? 걍 괜찮고요 불친절하신것과 설탕갈비만 빼면 전 괜찮았던거 같네요. 그래도 별로인건 별롭니다. 별로 추천 안해요

불친절은 6가이지 피코점이 아닌데 왜 그런 글들이 보이는지... 김치찌개도 맛있고(시골 할머니가 끓여주신 맛하고 똑같아요ㅠㅜ) 돼지갈비도 맛있어요. 전 특히 상추샐러드 너무 맛있어요.

튼실하고 양많은 낙지 볶음에 소면사리 넣고 비벼서 드시면 최고의 맛을 느낄수 있어서 강 추 ….!

A true ghetto country market style food and atmosphere with great pork ribs! If you love food - especially bbq pork ribs, you have to try this restaurant. Everything here is authentic. I would recommend the pork belly or ribs. You will not be disappointed.

Food was awesome. Small place and not many tables. Pork ribs and lamb was good.

It was my first time there, but the food was absolutely DELISH! The pork was so tender and falls off the bone. The restaurant is a bit small, but it made it easier to receive service because the kitchen was right next to you. Would absolutely visit again! I have only one photo and if the video uploads, you can hear the sizzling of the fresh pork ribs! Update: the video was not even an option to upload, but here is the picture!

Mi primera visita a este restaurante. No soy un fan de la comida caliente y picante, con la excepción del Kimchi Picante estofado, los demás platos que pedimos era sabrosa y muy sabroso. Más notables fueron el aperitivo de verduras y el cerdo costillas que fueron tan buenos como los que he tenido. De hecho teníamos 2 nds y 3 rds y de haber ido a por más. De hecho acompañada de vinos tintos y champagne con esta comida. En todos los twas una experiencia culinaria en este limpio y bien iluminados.

Este lugar tiene las mejores costillas de cerdo a la barbacoa. Diría lo mejor en Ktown. Cada vez que voy aquí quiero probar algo más, pero simplemente no puedo. Siempre voy por las costillas y siempre es la elección correcta. Para 2 personas, el pedido de costillas es el tamaño perfecto y el precio es correcto. ¡Deberías intentar! !

This review is for the 3407 W 6th St location. We got here quite late, around 8pm on Friday. Finding street parking in k-town is not an easy task, so we avoided the hassle by going straight to paid parking . The wait wasn't too bad, it took us about 25 minutes. We ordered Pork bone stew, kimchi rice, soybean stew with pork, pork spare ribs, on top of jeju pork belly and beef sirloin that we cooked at the BBQ grill on the table. I love the pork bone stew and kimchi fried rice the best, they are so good. The soybean stew is very tasty, it has diced chili peppers and ground pepper in it so it's also a bit spicy. Others are pretty good for people who can't eat a lot of spicy food. I would like pork ribs even more if it's served super hot right out of the grill. Portions are big so it's good to go with a group of friends that you can share the food with. One thing we learned about the menu was that for items doesn't have chili icon next to them doesn't mean they are non-spicy.

Two words...Spare Ribs! Get a platter of them, a bottle or two of soju and you'll be in heaven! The neck bone stew is also a winner, but I went into a feeding frenzy on the ribs and barely looked up until I was so stuffed I couldn't move. Don't worry if they're on a wait, they move through the wait list pretty quickly.

Worth going back for and we will next time in Wilshire area. Nice little busy restaurant but they will get you in and out. Had ribs, Banchan and corn tea. Had big stroller inside and found room for it easily. Most important - Parking garage right around corner will take validation!!

This restaurant is a smaller sister restaurant to the one on 6th Street in Koreatown, but a little more intimate, and 1/2 as busy. The food is prepared quickly, and the ribs are out of this world! Little spicy but oh so good! They have other options on the menu, including kimchi rice, octopus, and squid, but some of these items are not available "to go". There is plenty of street parking, but the neighborhood is a little sketchy at night. No reservations are required, but the restaurant is small, so there may be a little wait time, depending on what time you arrive.

Yes it is a spicy soup with pork neck bones and omg it is delicious to the bones. It is a little pricey but hey a bowl is good for 2-3 people to share already and keep the steamed rice coming, very busy during lunch hours and after work between 5-7pm so its a little wait, i'd go there after lunch rush hour. Mostly nearby employees come eat here and suprisingly that most of the clientele are foreigners just proving that this is an authentic korean place, they have some bibimbap but its not their specialty here. My friedms took awhile to try this place out but after they did it's one of their go to places. They accept credit card, parking is valet inside the building and they balidate so you get discount for paying for parking.

旅行で気軽に立ち寄るには難しそうなお店ですが、肌寒い日などは特に行って欲しいお店です。 さっぱりサラダにキムチ等の前菜、 こってりとしたリブ、そしてじっくり温まるスープ。今年は肌寒いLos Angelesでしたが、ここのじっくりと煮こまれたシチューは外見と違いさっぱりとたのしめました。大きなじゃがいもがホクホクとして気持ちもゆったりできます。 お店は行列で寒い店外で待たなければいけませんでしたが、スタッフの方が手際よく注文を訊いたり待ち時間を説明してくれたのでつらくはありませんでした。 気軽に韓国をたのしめるよいお店です。

Wonderful kimchi stew, bbq ribs and squid. Flavors run to hot. Place is bustling, service fast, and if it's authentic you want and low key, this is the joint. The mostly Korean crowd can attest to that.

Another restaurant was too busy for us, so we stopped in here. The ribs tasted great, and the portion was so large it was confusing to us; oh well, an extra meal to go! Plus, we didn't expect the large salad that came with the ribs; another unexpected surprise on the positive side. We also had a few tofu soup bowls, which were delicious as well. For us, the service was good; every time we made a request, we received a prompt response. We didn't know about the famous pork stew until later, so we missed out on that, but we were fortunate to have stopped by this place by accident because the food was really tasty and the total price was very reasonable. By sharing your experiences, yo9/17/2015 Hubby was craving for Korean, but we are tired of the typical EAYC Korean BBQs around so we tried this place. We waited for 30 minutes, but the servers were very attentive, they gave us the menu ahead to save time. Of course we ordered the popular items - the pork neck stew and pork spare ribs. The stew reminds me of the taste of Spanish "callos", yummy! The ribs was ok too. Servings are huge. One order can be good for 2-4 depending on your appetite. Their exhaust system was ok compared to other Korean restos, Enter on the side of the building, there is valet available u're helping travelers make better choices and plan their dream trips. We got the pork neck stew and it was amazing. I didn't try the famous pork ribs but will definitely need to return to try it. The service is solid too which isn't so common in Asian restaurants unfortunately. Overall, great experience.
