Wish they had more expensive hours but if you get the opportunity to swing through definitely do it! The pies are to kill for.

I went there several years ago , good food and service ! Stop in !

Fun place has outside seating and inside. Their pies are very popular and sell out quickly. Food was decent, their peach milkshake was pretty good. I try any meals. Couple things I noticed were the window seals next to the seats were a bit dirty and had dead flies on them 😷 where the bench seats are inside, also if you do sit outside it's along the road and there is no fence so keep an eye out on your kids and pets.

Just like I remembered it. The food is delicious. The service is friendly, and the restaurant is cozy. Eat inside or outside on one of the picnic benches. The views of the orchard are beautiful.

Thank you Christian, for telling me about your family's "really good" pies and sending the various flavors and prices, of the pies, to 'Mo', a manager/coworker and friend, via Dollar Thrift in Sacramento, last week). Dollar Thrift is an amazing store, where everything is Only $!! Melissa's (the owner,) vision is that "A Thrift store should be affordable, for everyone!"! I love working there, great teamwork and fabulous... everything!!! I had ordered three small-miini pies - lemon meringue, peach and mixed berry, all very reasonablly priced. Last Tuesday, I appreciated Christian's gesture, of personally delivering them, to Dollar Thrift; in Sac. I spied him, entering the store and yelled a cherry hello, upon his arrival; where I volunteer (we find him shopping there, each week; lives it. When Christian saw Mo, on the floor, at Dollar aThrift, he asked o, to give my pies, to me. Upon reaching me, near the register, Mo could feel and see my excitement, as she delivered my pies! Thank you Christian and Mo Mo! We were so busy at Dollar Thrift that I was not able, or had the time, to taste. After dropping Mo off, I drove home. I chose the mini-peach pie first. I warmed it up briefly, for about 30 seconds. After removing my slice, from the microwave, its yummy aroma reached my nostrils, and my palate savored a slice, of my tasty, peach pie. The next day I sliced my favorite piece, as a child - lemon meringue! It, too was tasty, as was the mixed berry that I tried in the evening. Prior, I stopped by the store and bought a tub of cool whip -:added topping, to each and they were yummy-tasty mini pies! If you got a great taste, hunger pang, cravings,for "tasty-yummy" pies, go ahead and give Heaven Apple Kitche a call, and your palate will be satisfied

Very cute little restaurant with both indore and outdoor dining. Burgers were great as was the Cole slaw. Everything is homeade with lots of desserts and baked goods. Their soft serve ice cream is delicious.

Loved this place. Had a great time. Very rustic and nostalgic. People here really take care of you. Would go back again!

Sitting on the patio with the shade cover and beautiful vinery made my family and I dream off and converse as if we were the gods in Greece. As the first team member I was met with was Josh, it was a delightful experience his knowledge and guidance helped my mom and I get all the our hunger hearts desired. The service with Mel, Anna, Theresa, Sarah, and Brooke was quick and to no surprise attentive and kind. Sweet smiles and genuine hard work, would not only reccomend but plan to visit on my next trip down here!

Well worth the scenic drive a few minutes out of your way. The food was delicious. I love the small town America feel all throughout.

Great restaurant with country setting. Had lunch today..April 6th..see receipt. Shared the patty melt with fries (fries 4 bucks extra). Good flavor. Also had the chicken pot pie soup to go (omg..delicious!), and my friend ordered a slice of caramel pecan pie to go. Strong coffee! They have indoor and outdoor seating plus picnic tables in the grassy area. They are known for their delicious pies! Its located on colfax highway with relaxing views in the back of the restaurant. Even with inflation its still somewhat reasonable nowadays! Melanie our server was friendly and on top of everything! Its a great stop to unwind and relax!

They DO NOT serve breakfast. Lunch only and 🥧 pies. The food was okay. I got onion rings and a slice of lemon meringue pie. Staff was friendly.

I used to get my pies from the two famous places down in Auburn. Well...even with one of those two having new ownership, I can say that neither hold a candle to the pies from Happy Apple, and the Happy Apple pies are less expensive. My only beef is what I consider rather slow service, especially at the outside to-go window. This place has better food, too, than the Auburn pie place, at much lower prices.

In October, I was staying at an Airbnb nearby and went here for lunch and the food is delicious! The salads and sandwiches are tasty and very fresh. The peach pie was ammmmazing! They have pies in 2 sizes regular $25 and small $10. They also have delicious jams. I bought an apricot preserve for $10. That was also very good. The restaurant has benches around the establishment outside, or there is indoor seating. It does get busy and frequently has a line, but the food is worth it.

Great place (found by accident). Everything is freshly made. Had a pastrami sandwich that was very good. Pies are also made fresh. The owners running the kitchen were very nice and welcoming.

A bit pricey, but absolutely delicious food! And the pies are to die for!

Fabulous food, especially the peach shake and peach pie, they were delicious! Got a chicken salad with peppercorn dressing. I even bought a pound of peaches, which were outstanding. The only issue was the benches outside had tons of meat bees, which kept flying around my food. I eventually had to go inside to escape.

Bargain Pies are still Pies! Loved the grab and go window as I was off on the road for a job and wanted to bring back everybody a treat at the shop! Crust is absolutely perfect in all it's ratios.

I grew up eating here and try to always stop by when I can. The staff are very friendly. The food is excellent and the prices are very reasonable

Log cabin picnic like ambiance, firestove was nice. Small place. Food i had was good, group liked theirs. Please add gluten free buns and it'll be accommodating to all!

What a great stop. We we’re headed home and popped in. The sandwiches were were very fresh. The setting is great. You feel like you’re on a wonderful picnic—except you didn’t have to do all the work😉

Cheeseburger was good. Doesn't come with fries which was disappointing. Worth a stop if you are in the area.

It's hot but beautiful here! I never came here before and I just love it. I tried the peach milkshake and it's so good. Delicious! The scenery around it is amazing!

Indoor is closed, but food is brought outside to your picnic table. Recommend the home made pie.

There’s no place quite like it. It’s peaceful inside or outside. The orchard setting is beautiful. Especially in the fall. Always great food and fantastic service. Long live The Happy Apple Kitchen!

Sitting on a picnic table sipping a fresh peach shake on a Summer afternoon was an incredible experience! The pastrami sandwich was yummy, too!

It's been years since my last visit to Happy Apple Kitchen and I regret every opportunity I've missed to visit this fantastic establishment. Hard to find a great ambiance and a simple soup and salad. This spot has them both! Don't skip it.

I love this local spot! Family owners are always so sweet and know everyone by name. I had a yummy chicken salad sandwich on croissant and it was delicious! Seating is outdoor and everything is takeout, but the service is still awesome!

My family has been visiting Happy Apple for lunch for at least 30 years. Not much has changed and that's perfect. My mom has always enjoyed the Happy Apple Burger with unsweetened applesauce. I'm in love with the Turkey Ortega sandwich on sourdough. The best though has to be their seasonable milk shakes, notably the peach one. An absolutle beast. At the moment only outdoor seating, but that's fine because both their vine covered patio and grass area under the trees is scenic and comfortable to enjoy during the warm summer.

There is nothing better then a fresh tasty home made meal. The friendly staff are home grown and family to one another. The out door dinning is serine. .Awsome.

A great pandemic retreat! Beautiful drive to really good, great quality food. Their strawberry shakes alone make the trip worthwhile... Unfortunately i was disappointed that much for a on their pies 🥺... The filling was good but the dough was hard and not flaky. If you're going to spend that much for a pie, try Ikeda's...

Beautiful setting. Good, honest and wholesome foods. Something for everyone but the pies, milkshakes, sandwiches, soups and burgers are really exceptional. I like the Happy Apple burger with the apple sauce.

Adorable place, glad your here but my burger was all bread large lettuce pieces, the itsy bitsy piece of meat you spared was tasty but I would of appreciated meat to fit the bun. For that reason I gave you a 3.

If you don't know of this place then you are definitely not a local. Off the beaten path, out by the apple orchards a quaint little restaurant making food and pies fresh to order. Local art for sale on the walls. Food was wonderful and very reasonably priced for a little local mom and pop type place.

Excellent food, great salads, wonderful soups in the winter, best pies in the county.

A place I discovered when working in the area, now I go out of my way to make stops there. If not for the food, than for a large apple juice. Cant go wrong with a home cooked meal in a homey atmosphere.
