Dropped by Hats Dugout with dear friends and colleagues for an evening out and boy was this place fantastic. First off, beers are ice cold. I opted to pair my beers this evening with an awesome bacon cheeseburger, cooked to order! Owner, operator and server. Heather. took wonderful care of us! If you are in the mood for a down to earth good time, ice cold drinks and awesome food from their kitchen, then come on by Hats Dugout!

They are never open when you want them to be. They have great food. But if they're obviously never open....then I suppose you'll never know for yourself. It's ridiculous that there seldom ever even open. Such a shame

Great atmosphere, great staff, very clean, and most importantly fabulous food. I had a chicken salad sandwich that was very fresh. My spouse had a tenderloin sandwich, very big. We had the best onion rings, freshly made. Best taste ever. Highly recommend.

Very good tasting food. Waitresses were very pleasant and attentive. I was there at lunch time. Not busy but should have been. I would recommend to each and everyone.

Forgot to make a reservation but walked in on a busy Friday night. Was advised we would have a 20 minute wait but we could have a seat at the bar so we did. Served our drinks immediately and have us menus. Real service !! Decided to just order and eat at the bar. Excellent food and service !!

After ordering, our food was served in a very timely manner, and was cooked to order; our server was very attentive, as well. The atmosphere was a bit noisier than what I prefer, but I took into consideration that our visit was on a Friday night. Since the facility is modest in size, a reservation is recommended but not required. I recommend highly!

Place was awesome wait staff was friendly and worked together and bill was fairly cheap for 5 of us less than 60$ ( me personally thank that's amazing)

Nice restaurant/bar with pub grub at a decent price point. I had the breaded tenderloin, good sandwhich, but the sweet potato fries were a little over cooked and hence why a loss of a star.

Lovely little restaurant and bar! Food was hot & tasty. Our sandwiches were ready in about 10 minutes. Just gave us a hometown feel. We will definitely be back! Betty

Coming from New England, this place is amazing. What a wonderful idea the owners had with their daily meal selections. The midwestern hospitality is something I'll never get use to coming from a place where people would step over you if you were passed out in front of them. If I'm ever back in the area I'll be making another stop into this place.

This place is off the chain when it comes to value. We so enjoyed the surf and turf. It's not opened every day so check the hours before you go. It's kind of an out of the way place that's well worth finding. Can't wait to return and try other things from the menu. If you are going on the weekends you might want to call ahead and make reservations.

Hats is a small jewel in the midwest town of Palmyra, MO. I had the KC strip steak with a salad bar and baked potato. The steak was tender very tasty. I would say it was one of the best steaks I have eaten in a long time. The price for a 8 ounce KC strip was only around $18. I highly recommend this restaurant. Check when open because there schedule varies during the week.

Great comfort food! Best Onion Rings! Great burgers. Always fast , friendly service. Great lunch buffet. Salad bar is small but fresh & tasty! And a decent bar to boot! A fantastic local, family-owned restaurant!

The servings are big. Lattice fries are awesome. Waitresses are good and fast at their job. I've only eaten here twice but I would highly recommend this restaurant for families or large family gatherings. Oh yeah they have a bar area too.

Great place. Tucked away. As travelers we try to go to as many sit down restaurants we can. This was a great experience. More like a home feeling then a restaurant. Our waitress was extremely attentive. Food was great and excellently priced. Hope to see this place around for many years to come.

Great place to eat food delicious. But we was looking for it at night had a hard time they need a big lighted sign up at the street it was very dark area.

Heather and her team are outstanding. Service is excellent. The prices are very reasonable. The food is consistently prepared and delicious. The salad bar, while small, is always fresh and flavorful.

Love this place!! First time eating here but will definitely be coming back. Food was amazing and priced good with larger portions. The waitresses are some of the best I've had. Super friendly, didn't have to ask for anything, she was on top of it. Refills, condiments, etc. It's clean and has a nice presentation, great environment/atmosphere. This is now one of my new favorites if not favorite restaurant. Highly recommend!!
