I was out of town for the week and looked for a vegan option restaurant. Wow, was I pleasantly surprised with Heirloom Food Company. We have a similar vegan cafe in Cookeville, TN, Juicy Wellness Cafe, but Heirloom has many more vegan options. I had a burrito bowl, mock chicken wrap, and Tempeh BLT. All were fantastic. Great service, great staff, highly recommend.

Comfortable setting. Quality innovative menu. Pleasant and attentive staff. Highly recommend this restaurant. Would eat here more often if I lived closer. It is a good choice if you like healthy eating options.

Have eaten here a number of times over the past couple of years, and have always loved the food and the vibe. Amazing selection for delicious vegetarian or vegan dishes. I have gotten the grain bowl types of food several times and have always loved it. The prices are a bit higher, but not by much, and considering the value of the fresh, healthy food you're getting - totally worth it. Would absolutely recommend checking this place out if you haven't already.

Vegan for 14 years now, and this place is still one of the best I’ve ever tried :) The staff are all super sweet and adorable, the atmosphere is welcoming, earthy, and cozy. And drive up makes ordering super easy if you’re an anxious person like I am (: And the food is actually insane. So good, super fresh. The mock chicken curry is a criminal contraband item it’s so good.

One of my favorite meals I’ve ever had. This place is so good, highly highly recommend. It was just somewhere I decided to stop on my route traveling through, and I’ll for sure be back just for this. Great vegan and vegetarian options, easy online ordering, and I was blown away by the pomegranate dark chocolate smoothie!!

Everything we had here was fresh and delicious! Anything can be made gf (although their gf bread slices are considerably smaller in size than the regular bread). DD had a grilled cheese, which was grilled on a dedicated pan. Maybe a little too greasy, we would ask next time to be grilled dry. My sandwich had rainbow layers of crunchy, tasty vegetables. Their gf cupcakes were decadent.

Heirloom is my go-to for modern&mindful food in the area. There’s only one meat option, but because of the quality in all of their food, it encouraged me to try new things and find new favorites. The mock-chicken curry and the white&black bean burger are pretty darn good. I appreciate the healthy option in town.

This is my second time here, and it was just as excellent as my last experience here. It is a really quaint restaurant with delicious food! This is a great place to eat if you're vegan, vegetarian, or eat a plant-based diet plant based, as well as if you're not any of these! They offer gluten-free desserts and bread for sandwhiches, as well as vegan desserts. The service was quick and friendly. It was an awesome lunch experience being vegan. We will be back!

We always enjoy eating here. Food is mouth watering & very tasteful. Need to be cautious pulling in the driveway as had someone coming out in a new Volvo who did not know the function of a signal light.

Always a favorite when visiting that area. The food is always great, and we leave with vegan/gluten free desserts that rival no vegan/gluten free bakeries.

I went here for the first time today. I got the grown up grilled cheese with cheddar and an oatmeal Creme pie. The food is phenomenal! It’s fresh, it’s tasty and it looks amazing. I literally cannot recommend this place enough. I can’t wait to come back and try more!

Delicious food! Fresh, tasty, interesting, high quality. I had a grilled cheese (Berlin) and my daughter had tuna salad and chips (they have a thoughtful kids menu- made me want to steal their ideas and serve at home too!)

Love their food! The tuna salad wrap is very good and so is the turkey wrap. The shakes are always delicious and the desserts are top notch! It's a little pricey but the ingredients are great and fresh so I guess you get what you pay for.

Outstanding option for those who eat healthy and prefer vegan/vegetarian options. There is nothing here that lacks in flavor or appeal. They even have kombucha on tap! Pleasantly surprised to find ample indoor and outdoor seating in a clean, relaxed environment. Highly recommended, and will be back soon!

SO delicious. The Reuben sandwich is my judge of any lunch place and Heirloom Food Co did not disappoint. Their vegan Reuben with tempeh was outstanding; sauerkraut was tasty, the dressing perfect, and I loved the cu of slaw they added. (Anything that puts extra fresh veggies into my system.) Everything was fresh, the tables and dining area clean and inviting. The place filled up for lunch but the sound level stayed reasonable. LOVE it here and highly recommend for fresh foodies!

I’ve had the Buddha bowl here several times and one thing I love is the warmth of all the veggies with maple glaze on top of a warm bed of rice. I ordered it today and everything was ice cold. I asked if they could heat it slightly and was told there was no microwave. They did make a new bowl and it was just as cold. It literally felt like the chickpeas had come out of a freezer. All in all, it just did not make for a great experience. I will say that it’s usually phenomenal. For the prices as they are currently for food, I hoped for a better experience, hospitality-wise.

Several options for vegans. Like the sandwiches and the smoothies. The turkey veggie avocado sandwich is amazing. The oatmeal cream pies are worth a 30 minute drive 🥰

Consistent and kind, I never have a problem with Heirloom's food or service. The employees are always very sweet. The food is phenomenal and the atmosphere is wonderful.

Warm friendly clean and cool environment. Not many places like this. Food was also healthy and delicious coming from someone who is not vegan.

First time going there it was quite an amazing experience. The food was unbelievable. The young lady that helped me was very knowledgeable.

Mostly very good. I did once get a Vegan Reuben that tasted like it was hours old. Other than that, it has been good.

My family stopped in for a late lunch today and were very disappointed. Two of us opted for the Harvest Apple Grilled Cheese with cheddar because it sounded so good for this time of year. There was hardly any filling in these pressed sandwiches ... an almost nonexistent amount of cheese, two micro-thin slices of apple, two baby arugula leaves, a strong taste of onion and no evidence of honey drizzle in either. For 12.30 each and chips an extra charge, this is just not good hospitality, so we will not be back. In addition one of us was served The Fall Harvest Bowl (which was a good-sized serving and tasty) in a to go container! It is clear that the staff was not paying attention today.

Amazing place! Food was excellent, staff were friendly and helpful and it was a cozy spot to eat on a drizzly cool fall day. Great options for vegans and non vegans. If I lived closer, I'd eat here every day!

Always liked this place, but the prices have gone up exorbitantly and this "burger" I got--there isn't much to it. I think I prefer an old fashioned normal sized bean burger... I mean, very tasty, but a tiny little bean.....patty. Alot of money for something that feels like a snack.

This is a fantastic place for lunch or an early dinner - there are lots of vegan options, including desserts. I've been here many times and I've never had a bad meal. The grilled cheeses are such an awesome vegan option and the desserts are perfection. (I was SO excited to find a vegan cream egg for Easter!) The smoothies are DELICIOUS. Every time I've been in, staff have been kind, welcoming and personable, the service is excellent. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for fresh, local food with a creative flair, vegan or not!

We were invited to go to Logee’s Greenhouses and have lunch here. You order at the counter. Find a table first. The food is organic, local, vegetarian, vegan and gluten free. You can get turkey & cheese. We had the Turkey & cheese sandwich that was loaded with avocado, cukes, thinly sliced purple cabbage, grated carrots, lettuce and a delicious dill Mayo. $13 or $13.99 each I believe. We did enjoy it very much. High prices for all sandwiches, bowls, desserts, drinks. High quality, but…I would go back occasionally. Only because of prices.

Good food and smoothies but very expensive, $30 for a veggie bowl and a drink

Accidentally came across this place one day while looking for a healthier alternative to fast food, and it has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants in the area! I've been here a few times now, and every time I am blown away by how fresh and delicious all of their food is! The smoothies are delicious and the sandwiches that I've tried have been out of this world! Can't recommend this place enough!

When the 45 min drive turns into a closed greenhouse, good vegan/plant based food can turn the day into a win. Very good food and a lovely location. This is just what you need in this busy area. Just a few miles from the intersection of RT395 and RT101 in Killingly.

I travel back and fourth from Brooklyn and Connecticut and I have never noticed this spot before. I am so glad I found it! I ordered the Buddha vegan bowl, it was so fresh, delicious and healthy.

Impressive V,GF meals and treats that are delicious, BUT I always get the Turkey-Veggie-Avocado on Sourdough that's killer good!!! ... Wait, that's real turkey right?! ...ok I just looked up the menu😋 Everything is vegan except the turkey and tuna sandwiches.

Everything about this place is great. The owner and prep staff, the fresh ingredients, the visual presentation, the sauces, the preparation of proteins, the gluten free deserts, the California bungalow building, the indoor and outdoor seating areas and unique furniture. I could go on in more detail, but you get the picture.

Delicious food, cozy atmosphere. Hidden gem. All food can be made gluten free. Lots of dairy free options. Menu is vegetarian/vegan friendly. Lots of local foods. Best gluten free desserts around. Must try the oatmeal creme pie sandwiches. They are so good. Samoa bars are also delicious. Best smoothie IMO is the monkey business. If you're looking for a lunch date spot in the quiet corner, Heirloom is a great spot. Especially if you have gluten sensitive friends or vegan friends!

Cafe looks like a cute old house. Vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options. Sandwiches, salads, smoothies, and tons of baked goods. I had the vegetarian ruben and it was packed with flavor. I will definitely be back.

Delicious sandwiches and gf treats

Very tasty gluten free and vegan/veg options. Got the oatmeal creme pie and a kids grilled cheese. Both were very tasty. A little pricey but very quality ingredients and lots of allergen friendly options. Small outdoor seating area is shaded.

Decided to take a drive out to Danielson Connecticut to try The Heirloom Food Company so glad we did! First off the place is charming outside and in. Decks and terraces for outdoor seating along with ample indoor space. Plenty of free parking as well. I was thrilled to see several choices of smoothies that didn’t contain banana. Opted for the Raw Chocolate Medjool smoothie. Thick, creamy and decadently delicious. Made with raw cacao, avocado, medjool dates, soy milk, vanilla and a pinch of salt yum! (I may have tossed the straw, the better to savor that rich creamy goodness) I had the Beta Burger patty house made with lentils, beets, brown rice and almonds super flavorful served on a delicious sprouted wheat bun with fresh crisp veggies and a killer vegan dill mayo. Needless to say I was very pleased with my choice. My husband went for the Buddha Bowl, Chickpea salad, sliced avocado, shredded carrots, cabbage, and vegan curry "mock chick" salad, over brown rice, topped with sesame seeds and drizzled with almond maple sauce. He loved it. I did some sampling of his have to say it was awesome! My eyes may have rolled back in my head in happiness upon tasting that almond maple sauce. They have a nice selection of vegan dessert goodies went for the cowboy cookies. Crisp with just the right amount of sweetness perfect way to end our meal. The staff is extremely pleasant and helpful as well. You place your order at the counter and they bring it to you. We will happily make the trip which is an hour each way again.

I absolutely love it here. I stop by on occasion for a turkey veggie avocado with cheddar cheese and an oatmeal cream pie to die for. And it's vegan!

Nor fully vegan as they serve animal carcasses but its great to have vegan options in this area atleast. The raw chocolate medjool smoothie was on the best smoothies I have ever ordered out (and I do so daily across the U.S. Also in this pic is the vegan oatmeal creme pie (all baked goods are vegan here)

Delicious vegan food, quality ingredients, amazing atmosphere, and the nicest staff! What else could you ask for! The Caesar salad and monkey business smoothie are my go-tos.

Best way to start your day in the area. Very wholesome offerings and the most calming and welcome environment. I recommend the veggie Reuben with a green Zion. Honestly just eat here, you won't regret it.

Hands down one of the best smoothies I have ever had. Their tomato soup was really good too. This spot is definitely pricey but it’s good. I like what they stand for in regard to clean eating. There should be more restaurants like this one.

A priceless gem in Northeastern CT! Heirloom is one of my favorite places to share with out-of-town guests and is a preferred spot for networking meetings and connecting with friends. The food is fresh and delicious, the smoothies are refreshing, and the staff is wonderful.

Sandwiches, smoothies and desserts are always delicious! This is the place to get GF treats! They have vegan and GF versions of most everything on the menu. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I got food here for the first time recently and it was so awesome! The mock chik'n curry wrap is so delicious, the burrito bowl with vegan cheese was AMAZING, the potato soup is sooooo yummy, and the oatmeal pies are unbelievable! I could eat 10 of them! Can't wait to go back. I definitely recommend trying their food!

I can’t recommend Heirloom Food Company enough - it’s seriously a one-of-a-kind place! Every dish I’ve tried has VERY generous portions of fresh and tasty vegetables (I highly recommend the Mock Curry chicken wrap). I’ve also tried most of their smoothies, and have loved every single one. Even if you’re not vegetarian, Heirloom is 100% worth trying! Also, thank you for handling the pandemic so well! It’s super easy to order online, and they even bring the food right to your car. The employees are always super friendly, as well.

this is my favorite place to go, their shakes are really good quality and really filling. we also tried Heriloom's burrito bowls for the first time and it was delicious! the staff is always very friendly and brings the food out in a timely manner. I miss when we could eat inside, but curbside is a good alternative

Plant-based diets have shown me so many benefits but I sometimes get sick of the same 5 healthy meals I know how to make. I make a point to now have my “cheat meal” here at Heirloom. And here’s the kicker.... I’m NOT cheating! It just tastes so amazingly good that it makes me feel like I am. Everything I’ve ever had here is superb, fresh and satisfying. It’s worth every penny. Your vege clam chowder was unbelievable yesterday. Your beet burgers are my favorite. I’m not gonna lie though... I do miss your sprouted wraps, your juices and your lattes. Those things made you extraordinary! But I understand how hard the juicer and latte machine are to maintain with the amount of customers you get. Just hoping maybe you’ll reconsider. Either way, I’ll always be ordering 🍓Thank you being the ONLY place around here that gets the importance of healthy eating!

turkey avocado sandwich is literally the best on earth so good

Their website needs more pictures of the food as well as recipes. Overall the food is great and so are the drinks it is a beautiful location and i like how there is plants all around the only thing i didn't like was the tofu as it was very dry and flaky. I rate this a four out of five. -that weird critic

We drove from Hartford to try out Heirloom Food Company and it was well worth the drive! Not only was my food clean but it was delicious, refreshing, and transparent. When i called to ask questions, they openly said what were the ingredients in all the food. I had the Beta burger with their awesome house made gluten free bread and my husband had the Crazy Good Tuna salad on a sourdough bread. The best part was the Vegan Dill Mayo! I have RA and Crohns so to be able to eat clean flavorable food without any reactions or swelling is a blessing. Thank you for being open in business! You guys really are a hidden gem❤

Consistently amazing every time

I ordered the chowder & a gluten-free mock chicken salad wrap. My roommate got a curry mock chicken salad wrap. While our chowder was delicious, I was disappointed in my gluten-free wrap. It was significantly smaller than my roommate's regular wrap. Had I known the size discrepancy I would have gone for the regular wrap. It was almost half the size of her wrap. Although it was delicious, it was definitely not filling & not for $11. I would recommend their food, just don't get the gluten-free wrap. It's also very crumbly & dry. I'll probably just get a salad or rice bowl next time.

This place is a hidden gem in Danielson. If you want some of the best vegan foods you have ever had, this is the place to be. Service is wonderful and they are even offering curbside pickup. 10/10 I would recommend even to my non vegan friends. So many options.

As much as I love to dine out and as many favorites that I have, the food at this place is the best feeling food. I mean, i feel good when i eat it....i would even say that I feel better when I eat it. As much as I tend to punish my digestive tract I go to this place to heal it. My favorite is the veggie Reuben which I would hold up to any sandwich. Additionally, they always have some incredible sweet treats and good soup. Really great people doing really great things in a place that you may least expect it.

Delicious wholesome food. They don’t offer espresso beverages anymore that why I give 4 stars.

Delicious salads and sandwiches and everything else. Organic, healthy, filled with fresh veggies, goat cheese, tofu, and yummy herbs and spices. I've only been twice but each time memorable. Really a fun atmosphere.
