The cigarette smoking inside kills it for us. Cool place inside and out but the cigarette smoking needs to stop - I hope the owner will consider this change. And yes, there is a difference between cigar smoke and cigarette smoke. We like going here to wind down, the staff are nice and welcoming and they have a nice selection of beer and wine. The outside tables are nice and the chairs are comfortable. Please consider only allowing cigarettes outside - I’m sure we aren’t the only ones.

Hemingway's has great hours, open early AND late. The staff is friendly and personable. The cigar selection is wide and the humidification is spot on. You can enjoy a fine cigar and drink both inside and out. We recommend it!

This place was very gender neutral, not my type of venue. I tried a featured cigar and I think it would of tasted better with the wrapper on. If you are into Prius type drivers and socialism this place might be for you.

A very talented gentleman started this place some years back when I first went looking for a cigar after our pilot brought us into puddle jumpers. Ever since it has been my favorite place to go. When I visit Mount Dora, Tavares, Eustis or Leesburg. My wife does not like cigar bars but she absolutely loves this place. My French bulldog absolutely felt at home. I can enjoy a cigar with out her getting overwhelmed by stale smoke. The air flow is just perfect here and has a very Florida room feeling when around the bar. Very comfortable in the summer and super cozy in the winter months with the fire tower heaters that are here. The humidor is well maintained, you might not find everything here but the cigar selection is excellent. Proper range of beers and wines for pairing with cigars. After a nice day of fishing out on the lake and some burgers or steaks near by this place is the best time spent for a beautiful evening.

Matt and Torrey were so hospitable. We were passing thru close to closing but they served us and made us feel like family. I will definitely back to this bar next time I’m in town.

I love this bar ❤️ The atmosphere is great and the staff is even better! I first met Kristie and we instantly clicked. She was so personable and friendly and does a PERFECT job lighting a cigar. The second time I met Melissa who was just as friendly and funny! She even changed a song for me because I didn’t like how it made me feel. So hospitable. Highly recommend stopping in and making this your go to spot!

We were attending an event which is held the last Sunday each month 2 - 6pm and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Staff are really great.

A cozy place with great wine, ice cold IPAs and a really good selection of cigars. Very fairly priced. Nice little stage for intimate performances on the inside too. BEST ROOT BEER IN CENTRAL FLORIDA TOO. I'm sure Andy and Kirstin would live to have you stop by

So happy to see Hemingway's re-open under new management. Andy is super friendly, has a great selection of beers on tap, AND most importantly he upgraded the cigar selection. Under the old management the cigars were all low end offerings I would never smoke. Now I have plenty of great options. A 3 star rating by another reviewer due to people smoking cigars is a joke. IT'S A CIGAR BAR! Hopefully she won't be back. Keep up the great work... I'm spreading the word!

I went to Hemingway's for karaoke. I was apprehensive about going since I don't drink alcohol and I don't smoke, but I love to sing. I drank bottled water, and someone got to the bar just before me who ordered three drinks and 2 cigars so, it took awhile for the bartender to get this all done. It was a nice lounge type place with seating in leather looking chairs and also outdoor patio sets used indoors as well as outdoors. The acoustics seemed a little loud, but another singer said they were told, "well maybe people outside will hear it and come in". All was "ok" until a cigar smoker from the bar came over and sat in the lounge side and his smoke enthralled us, so sadly, I had to leave at that point.
