We had dinner with my siblings and parents here. The food is excellent, made from scratch, with fresh ingredients. The chef and wait staff are fantastic. The owner and the chef visited our table and were entertaining/ interesting people.

This is the pre imminent lodge on the Henry’s Fork. Fishing paradise. The lodge is amazing!

We did not stay overnight. We enjoyed an interesting, well presented, and excellent tasting dinner.

Outstanding service, food is top notch and varied every night, caters to fly fishers wanting a top notch experiential trip. Located one hour south of West Yellowstone entrance.

During our 2023 fly fishing trip we stayed at 3 premium fly fishing lodges (North Fork Crossing, Henry's Fork and Ruby's). This was our favorite. This lodge stands apart in each element of location for fishing, quality and quantity of fish, hospitality, gastronomy, atmosphere and comfort. Nelson, his sister and his team have thought about everything... from the fine French Jacquard napkins, the insanely plush bath towels, the exquisite duvet and bed linens, down to the ribbon on your cookie bag - I am not kidding, you will want to keep it and tie it on your gear! The food is incredible. The team of chef and pastry chef will offer you morning scones to make the brits blush and a evening menu that is really hard to pick from - especially since it changes every day. After a generous and flavourful apero with your selection of wine, you have a choice from 3 appetizers (usually a meat or veggie, a soup or a salad), 3 main courses (with some fresh fish flown in from Hawai!, the best fowl I have ever had or amazing red meat) and 3 deserts. Their house wine list is short limited but well balanced and only has good choices. Many of the guests bring their own bottles which the kitchen will set to the perfect temperature for you. It is not uncommon to see the finest french bottles around: the food is well worthy of your favorite Pouligny Montrachet... The staff is attentive and extremely helpful in making sure everything is up to your expectations. The setup is such that it is very easy to either mingle with other guests or keep more private, as you wish. With regards to fly fishing, the river is generous and the average fish larger than at other locations. I recommend you book directly with Jamie, the lodge manager, and ask him about local guides - the best in my opinion are from Big Sky Anglers... This place sets such a high standard that it can only be compared to a few of the finest small private hotels of Europe.

I’m only commenting on the restaurant here, as we stay up the road at TroutHunter for lodging/guides, but this place is phenomenal. We go out of our way to have dinner here, and this year did not disappoint. First of all, it’s the most beautiful establishment, with warm and inviting vintage lodge decor. The meals are lovely- well thought out, 3 course meals with seasonal ingredients, and they change daily! Wine list is just enough, (get the DuMol or bring your own for a small corkage fee). Lastly, I wanted to make mention of two staff members who really made two separate dinners here very memorable: Devon and Hannah. Devon was so kind and attentive as our server, and went above and beyond to make our experience pleasant! We loved him! And Hannah- such an earth angel!! She is a lovely representation of the lodge, and made us feel so welcomed. She went above and beyond to make our dinner special, and we are forever grateful. Thanks sincerely to the two of them, and everyone else working- this was a lovely experience and the best we’ve ever had for dinners here.

Very Nice Upscaled Restaurant! Delicious Food and Awesome Service!

I stayed at the lodge for a few days of fishing. I was blown away by the top notch service and amenities. The food was spectacular with enormous portions. And the staff is all incredibly kind and helpful. The sheets and towels were remarkably soft which is a big thing for me. They even have wood burning fireplaces in the rooms, and the staff preps the fire for you when they clean the room during the day. I wound down each night with a book next to a crackling fire, one of my favorite things in the world. So while this place isn’t cheap, it is absolutely beautiful and luxurious. 5 out of 5 starts for me, and I can’t wait to come back.

Prepare yourself for a top notch dining experience. Reservations are highly recommended.

The setting of this place is stunning! Unfortunately, the food didn't rise to the occassion. The menu is well conceived but the execution and seasoning is average which is particularly disappointing given entrees are $60 -$70 each. That said, the service was wonderful and it was opening day so it's worth giving some leeway there. We'll probably give it another shot in the future when they're further into the season.

We ate on the outdoor area of the restaurant, the view was amazing. The food was great. The main entré we ordered were cooked to perfection. The deserts were delicious. The staff was attentive, but not overbearing. Their service was top notch. Definitely a place I would recommend to anyone looking for a fine dining experience

Absolutely charming and cozy - everything you want a lodge to be! Had a delicious dinner: the crab cakes appetizer was perfection and the flank steak with fingerling potatoes and spicy, crispy kale was perfectly prepared. The pear and blackberry tart with tangy buttermilk ice cream was delicious, I was just too full to truly enjoy it. Can't wait to go back!

A true home away from home! Shout out to Jamie + Jeff - Incredible service, facilities and FOOD! Fantastic spot on the river with a daily complimentary happy hour for their guests. They even pack you a lunch for your daily activities. A true treat!

What an incredible place... super nice, great fishing, wonderful people, coffee left in a basket at your doorstep every morning. Would love to return here on day.

Everytime it's amazing! Don't go out as much as I wish I could but if you're looking for a quiet relaxing setting with the best fine dining Island Park has to offer then this is the place. A must try for anyone looking for the experience.

The service is very good but the location for fly fishing is great.

One of the most incredible places I've ever stayed - and I've traveled to 25+ countries and all over the US. These guys have absolutely nailed experience. First and foremost, the lodge is stunning and welcoming - the rooms are stunning. Secondly, the food is completely mind-blowing - I was impressed bite after bite for 5 days straight. I can't express how unbelievable the food was (quality and freshness unparalleled) and how clearly talented the culinary team is. If this was a restaurant near me - I'd probably eat there 5+ times per week for breakfast, lunch & dinner. Lastly, the service and over-delivery from this staff is beyond 5-star - better and more intuitive than most anywhere I've been. You will absolutely love it!

Awesome. Great rustic fishing lodge on the banks of the Henry's Fork. The staff are very attentive and look to make every detail perfect. The dining room serves the best food west of Yellowstone. Can't wait to go back.

The lodge is located right on the Henry Fork river and offers an incredible view. The staff were very kind and the meal was delicious.

Exquisite dinning, staff, and rooms. An experience that is first enjoyed then remembered for years to come. I will return.

Good luck finding the place! So for our 6th anniversary we decided to go here. We tried following the directions on Google maps, however we ended up on a road with multiple no trespassing signs. So we called. I hate calling, but... They directed us, but as it turns out the wrong direction. So, we called again. Tried again, went down the next street, but it also had no trespassing signs. So we went back to the original road with the no trespassing signs and took a chance, hmmmm will we get shot at??? That didn't happen and eventually we found the place. My husband made a joke about us getting lost and driving 8 miles out of our way...but that didn't go over well. We were seated and given menus. There were 3 choices and the cheapest was $44. We thought about leaving, but there weren't many restaurants in the area, it was our anniversary, and it wasn't like we couldn't afford it. We ordered the fish without onions and the cesar without anchovies. They mostly accomodated us, but didn't realize that my husband also didn't want anchovies. He picked them off. The salad was good, but precariously balanced on an odd plate that makes you feel like you don't belong at the restaurant. I mean I'm not Eddie from family vacation. The fish was very good, it was similar to swordfish and had I realized that I would've ordered a red wine. The coconut cake was fabulous for desert. Overall it was a good experience, however if they want more business, I'd suggest a sign! *Bill Engvall

The lodge was fantastic with beautiful, clean and comfortable rooms. Food was excellent but the service was even better. Met the owner and you can see that he sets the tone for the staff. Has a rustic, outdoor feel. A lovely lodge, set away from the main highway a top a high bank of the serene Henry's Fork River.

My husband and I were staying in West Yellowstone and picked up an advertisement on Henry Fort Resort. A local man was near and we asked if he knew of the resort's restaurant and he couldn't say enough good things about it. So we contacted them in hopes there was an opening for dinner even though we had been told it would be unlikely. The response was, let me ask the Chef. They were able to take 2 more guests and prepared a place for us. We arrived 15 minutes early in order to have a cocktail in their veranda overlooking the Snake River. We were immediately greeted by members of the staff who seated us and provided our cocktails And that was the beginning of a meal that would become one of the highlights of our 5 month journey of the Western Ststes. Our dinner was superb, I had the Halibut Nicoise that was fresh and delicate, the house wine was outstanding, and ending with the Pistachio cake. I want to give a shoutout to the impeccable and professional staff, The meal and experience was only enhanced by their friendly and professional service. Make reservations and go. I highly recommend. What a delightful evening.
