The food was delicious! Picky eater Kids loved it!

Had the coconut fish sandwich that I was very happy about. The vegetables that came in the sandwich tasted great and the fish itself was flavourful. The fries are definitely the high point, being extremely good for a side. Light and crispy and very worth it. We also had the calamari as an appetizer and I genuinely enjoyed the breading as it was a nice touch of flavour. We left a little as we got our entrees very quickly and I noticed that you shouldn’t let them get cold as to preserve the good flavour. Overall nice, not extraordinary, but a great option for a very casual meal.

Best biscuit and gravy breakfast in Key Largo

First of all the service was on point. Me and a friend sat at the bar. All the waitresses were friendly and offered their advice on the best dishes since this was our first time as we are not locals. They suggested the Port Au Prince sandwich to me and it was fantastic. This place seems the right candidate for Guy Fieri's DDD. Homemade and high quality. Fast service. Very fair pricing given the quality of fare. Also had the Conch Chowder. Fantastic. Will return.

Second time I've gone to this place for breakfast highly recommended and I loved it both times the staff is so friendly they do get very busy but people are there willing to wait for a table

Great food, small locally owned Cafe. Love supporting small business. We go every time we are down in the Keys now! It has become must for us. Every time we go the food is just as good and the first time.

The yellowtail was so good that my husband’s dinner was be snagged by a kid. If you’re in the area, it’s a great stop for super fresh fish!

Everything was great about eating here but one thing. The food was excellent, the restaurant is small but cozy. Parking could be improved. Our server was weird. She acted friendly but it seemed forced. She was seething with rage and it was disturbing. Blond shoulder length hair named leah. She was aggressive and my family thought it was something we did but she was friendly to the other staff. It was forced though, so weird. We’ll be back in a year but I don’t think we’re coming back to this place. Unfortunate as everything else (the food) was perfect. You seem to have a great team except for that one woman. We almost felt unsafe…

Super friendly staff. Benedicts were awesome. Staff was slammed but they got our Togo order quickly. Very clean, too.

It’s been a while since a restaurant experience was “better than home.” High Tide is a hidden gem! The outside doesn’t look like much, but the service and food was spectacular! We got crab fries, which is house made crab dip over fries with melted cheddar cheese, and it was delightful. He got the back and bleu burger and said it was delicious! I got the blackened shrimp Alfredo, and you could tell the sauce was home made, as was the garlic bread. The shrimp were perfectly blackened, and the portion was huge! Definitely will be a new staple when we come to the Keys!

This clearly looked like a locals place. The food was excellent. The servers were very friendly and the price was not outrageous.

The experience was immaculate. As a southerner the food surpassed our standards. EVERYTHING IS AMAZING! The gravy *chefs kiss* the muffins *chefs kiss* the skillets *chefs kiss* the hash brown casserole *chefs kiss*. Katy was our waitress (and also one of the owners) and she MADE the experience. She was awesome, and took such good care of us. Will be coming back just for the food, but will be a life time customer because of Kathy. Definitely make this a breakfast stop while in town.

This little gem in Key Largo never disappoints. Breakfast is always on point and so is the service. Keep in mind that the place is small and popular, so on long weekends and holidays, expect a wait.

I wouldn’t be able to recommend this spot off season. Food was frozen, and tap water only. Chocolate pancakes were probably from powder preparation, key lime fish sandwich wasn’t memorable, home fries were previously frozen. Nice waitresses, good mood. Maybe don’t clean the floor with broom next to your customers eating…

I don't write reviews much, but had to for this honey hole. We are as Southern as pecan pie, and I have to say that High Tide has the best biscuits, sausage-and-gravy, and breakfast that I have had in years! Wife and I were totally surprised how good everything was, and staff were awesome. This will be our go-to every time we pass through from now on. 👍👍

Can't go wrong for breakfast here. Muffins are the best around. Great drink specials also. We always stop here when in Key Largo.

Best breakfast in town. Locals favorite. Coffee, biscuits, breakfast skillet, home made muffins and other delicious items. Always consistent with their food quality. The service is friendly and fast and the place is clean and inviting. A true Key Largo experience! .

We came here for dinner on a dive trip. It was very diner-like but had the usual Keys fare: burgers and fresh fish. They actually did have a well-rounded menu, including breakfast, which we thought about coming back for but never had time. There were 5 in our party and we were taken care of very well and the food came out in good time. A good place to eat.

So glad we found this restaurant at the last minute! The fluffiest pancakes and Belgian waffles ever! Everything was delicious. We will definitely ALWAYS stop by.

When arrived the staff greeted us in a super friendly way, a mood they they kept during all how stay there. The menu has a lot to choose from and we ended up getting the eggs Florentine + a fish burger. My eggs were nice but the hollandaise sauce was different from what is should be. Toilets were also not the best Parking is available onsite.

Surf and turf was not good. Lobster tail over cooked. Steak tasted like it was marinated in pledge. Key lime pie was good.

The best food, price and service I’ve had in town! I went for dinner and breakfast, my waitresses were so kind and went out of their way to create a great trip for me and my family! The lobster bisque and key lime fish sandwich were our favorites!

I can’t say enough about how wonderful our experience was. The staff worked together making sure we were happy. The food was fantastic. My go to choice for a seafood dinner is Mediterranean fish. It was the best I have ever had. My 2 dinner friends were equally pleased. The only negative is that I am from the Tampa area and it’s too far to be a frequent dining customer.

Do yourself a favor and dont sit at the counter. Not one of them cook included washed thefe hands after repeatdly touching they faces ,noses ,door handles, pos machine then using bare hands to put bread in toaster. It was gross. Wear gloves its simple fix.

We came and ate breakfast here. I had the philly cheese steak omelet and it was amazing. The hashbrowns could have been a little more crisp or salted, but I digress. I loved the way they set up the ambiance. The tropical theme with the canoe lampshade and little seashell paperweight that came with the check were great. The staff there was also really friendly, and they were always happy to help us with anything they need. Overall, our dining expierence has been five star worthy.

Pretty decent food, didn't wow me but it was pretty tasty. Had the bone-in pork, pork itself was pretty bland but the sauce that came on the whole dish was quite good. Food was slow to come out.

It's true what they say "come in hungry and leave very full! Generous food portions and friendly staff who just want you to feel at home with their kind and efficient service. The breakfast burrito and blue cheese burgers were great, and I don't know how they make them but the fries are absolutely delicious! Don't let the outside of this diner fool you - it's a recommended stop if you are driving to/ from the Florida Keys and don't want to break the bank for some decent food.

This was the first restaurant of the day that we visited while we were in the Keys. We had breakfast here and really loved the food. The restaurant itself is somewhat small but very clean and the staff is very attentive.

Nice breakfast joint. No wait on Thursday at 10 AM. Had the corn beef hash eggs which were delicious. My wife had veggie omelette and my daughter had a skillet. Everybody enjoyed the food. It came out nice and hot, nice job on the hashbrowns and eggs.

Where do I start... I'll be quick and straight to the point. Went for lunch, had a whole fried yellow tail and a keylime pie. Food was great and the tables were spotlless. Keylime pie was super good and very generous portion. Last but not least awesome sevice. Thank you to all the grils!

Fabulous food. Good prices. Diner atmosphere. I had fabulous smoked salmon eggs Benedict and grits. Homemade muffins. Friendly, efficient wait staff. Owners do the cooking and were fun to watch from the bar.

One of the first places that can offer lobster and not be afraid to cook it correctly. The lobster omelet was to die for, the Cowboy skillet was amazing and bottomless mimosas! Best breakfast in the Keys.

This place doesn't miss. You try anything on their menu and it's 🔥 fire, meaning great. I come for breakfast and lunch. Anything you order is great. Try their Hashbrown casserole, it's a meal by itself but wow tastes amazing.

Excellent key lime pie! So glad we made this our last stop out of The Keys. I think this will become our new tradition. I have to mention the staff, even though we only had pie, they were very attentive and friendly. I highly recommend this place.

Would give TEN stars - if possible! On our last day in Key Largo, FL we found this restaurant- so sorry we didn't find you earlier in our time there. We had breakfast and ordered the following: Country fried steak Two eggs over corn beef hash Blueberry pancakes (recommended by our server, Alexis) Cowboy skillet Fish (fried mahi) & Grits Also ordered home made biscuits. First off, the service from walking in, to being seated, to getting drinks, ordering and being server the employees all work flawlessly with each other. They all assist each others throughout the guest stay!! Everyone is attentive and efficient. The owner and chefs should be extremely proud of their team - stellar and Michelin star worthy!!!! The food is next: The homemade biscuits are "to die for" don't miss out, they're crumbly and they quickly throw them onto the griddle. Next they have butter and pure honey to complete that "Heaven in your mouth " experience. Okay we made past the biscuits and the server recommended pancakes and we went for blueberry. Probably the best I have had to go along with the homemade biscuits. Also, best corned beef hash with over easy eggs cooked to perfection. Now let's talk about the hash brown casserole. OMG don't leave here without trying!! The sausage gravy and biscuits would make your Momma HAPPY!! FRESH Mahi Mahi with the grits ( I'm sure came from the docks that morning or night before) were excellent. The country fried steak was perfection. Seasoned perfectly as well as being cooked just as ordered. Don't pass up the SWEET Tea or UNSWEETENED Tea IT's HOMEMADE!!! Finally on the recommendation of our server the KEY LIME Pie is the best in the KEYS according to her significant other. Well let me tell you BEST Key Lime Pie I have EVER Eaten (totally bought a whole frozen one for home)!!!! I have consumed a lot of Key Lime pie and no others can compare!! When you come to the Keys - don't miss this place - you'd be foolish. Can't wait to come back for breakfast, lunch, and dinner!!

The seafood was great. So many options. I had the grilled mahi and my husband had the broiled seafood platter. It was so good we came back the next night for dinner. I was surprised it had so few diners on a Friday night. Hope that it was an anomaly. I just wish they would not have single use plastic (for drawn butter and sour cream).

This is an awesome no frills seafood restraint with great food and service. I ate here two nights in a row to enjoy the wonderful broiled seafood platter. Great and nice staff. Laid back and relaxing atmosphere with a focus on the cuisine.

If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would. We had both dinner and then on a different day, breakfast. The dinner we had was SO delicious. My husband said it was one of the best meals of his life. He had a special that was a seafood pasta with a key lime butter sauce (I hope I got that right). I had the Shrimp Rosado pasta, which was truly delicious as well. When we went back for breakfast, we both had shrimp and grits 😋. Yum!! The service was good and everyone was friendly. If we travel near there again we will go back for sure. Their evening interior lighting does not do the food justice. :-)

My wife and I ate breakfast here. She got a breakfast sandwich and I got the lobster omelet. Both were amazing. They did not skimp on the lobster at all. We also got a side of the hashbrown casserole which was also amazing. The service was great. The only negative was listening to the one server telling everyone how she was sick and mad she was forced to come in to work. She was coughing a lot and blowing her nose. Didn't see her wash her hands after any of it. There were plenty of other servers so not sure why she had to tell all the regulars how she was mad she was forced to go in. Kind of ruined the great vibe that morning. Besides that, highly recommend to go here for breakfast!

My husband and I are from PA and while driving from Key West to Miami we happened upon the High Tide. The food was great! The establishment was very clean! And the servers were wonderful!

Fantastic place for breakfast - i loved the lobster Benedict and the French toast with strawberries (with real fresh strawberries and not the compost stuff other diners around here use!). Plus the rich key lime cheesecake muffin, yum! Service is friendly and there are newspapers to read as you wait for food. Happy to return.

On my backpacking journey I came upon this place - a beautiful find! Good food, fun servers, light and cheerful atmosphere. My server, Linda, is BOSS! I will go again tomorrow...

The experience and food is always good here but it was our first time dining for dinner. We had mozzarella sticks, coconut shrimp and a bleu cheese burger with sweet potato fries. The cheese pull on the cheese sticks was amazing with a crunchy outer shell. All of it was outstanding. Not a crumb was left.

We had breakfast and they had one of the best blueberry pancakes we've ever had. We also had coconut shrimp with a variety of sauces that were delicious.

Me and my wife went here in 2022 on our honeymoon, and it was the last place we ate on our way out. We were hungry and couldn't figure out what we wanted, so through Google, we found this place and gave it a shot. I'm so glad we did. The food was great, and the waitress we had was an absolute sweetheart. We will definitely be back next time we make our way down!

High Tide restaurant remains one of the best in the upper keys. We own the italian food company and this is where we come to eat. Breakfast is great but their dinner is even better. The owners/chefs are champions. Highly recommend.
