Beautiful and challenging golf course

We got married at Hiland in August and can not rave about this wedding venue enough. Everything from the staff, venue, food, drinks, and service including the morning of bridal suite and grooms suite was above and beyond. Dan and Rachel made everything from the planning process to the wedding day flow smoothly. It was the best day of our lives and there’s not a single thing we would change about our experience with Hiland. Weeks later our guests are still raving about the food and how it was one of the best weddings they’ve ever attended. If you’re looking for a venue, look no further than Hiland.

We got married at Hiland Park Country Club and cannot recommend it enough. If you are wedding venue hunting, look no further. Dan and Rachael were incredible from the day that we met them, and they ensured our wedding day was nothing short of perfect. The venue and grounds are stunning, food is amazing (and so much of it!), and entire staff is phenomenal. We cannot say enough good things about Hiland Park Country Club and 100% recommend it. You and your guests will not be dissapointed!!

We had our wedding at the Hiland this past July and it was perfect to say the least. The grounds, the service, the venue, and the staff were all outstanding. My guests are still raving about the cocktail hour. Dan, Kasha, and Rachael were so accommodating to our requests and truly made the day awesome. We are so thankful we chose Hiland, it was the best day ever.

No need to look any further. If you are searching for a fantastic, memorable and WOW wedding experience Hiland Park Country Club is your venue. You know you got it right when you wake up the next day and say you would not change anything from the night before. The Hiland hit a grand slam! Everything from the pre wedding planning, place, setting, food, drink, staff, service, accommodating our needs, etc. etc. etc. was absolutely fantastic. We received so many texts and emails from our guests raving about the wedding with many saying it was the best wedding they had ever been to. I can't wait to attend my next wedding at the Hiland!

Hiland Park did an AMAZING job with every single detail of our wedding. Dan, Rachael, and the entire Hiland Park staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for our special day. The preparation and planning process with Dan and Rachael was extremely thorough and they took their time to answer questions and go through everything, which made our wedding day run very smoothly. The food, environment, cleanliness, attention to detail, drinks, and everything else were perfect. We could not recommend this place enough so if you're thinking of booking with them- do it!!!! :)

We got married this past Saturday at Hiland and I couldn’t wait to write my review. Everything, from start to finish was amazing. Dan and Rachael made the entire planning process as stress free as it could possibly be. Every single question was answered thoroughly (even when I asked a million in one day) and we weren’t told once that there was something we couldn’t do - we got a yes to everything! Our guests have not stopped raving about the food and how great ALL of the staff were. Cocktail hour alone beats any other venue around. The dance floor is huge, the entire building is beautiful, even the bathrooms are gorgeous and spotless. The groomsmen suite and the bridal suite really topped everything off - we arrived to a full fridge with drinks and lunch was great - I could’ve spent days in there! Despite a rainy wet day, we still got to have the ceremony outside and it was perfect. We are so grateful. Look no further - just book it.

I can not say enough good things about this venue. Dan and Rachel were so amazing to work with and made the wedding planning process so fun! Our day was so perfect and they were there every step of the way. The venue is so clean, the staff are phenomenal the food is delicious. I could go on and on! I highly recommend choosing Hiland as your venue for your special day.

We had our daughter’s wedding here. If you are lucky enough to have Kasia be your host you are beyond lucky!! She went above and beyond the entire weekend! From the rehearsal dinner to Monday when we picked up all of the items we brought for the event. Kasia was always there to help in anyway we needed! She helped to make the weekend a complete success. Kasia helping coordinating everything at Hiland that weekend we could not have asked for a more magical experience. Kasia was absolutely the best!! They even posed for a picture. This group was with us for both rehearsal dinner and the wedding day. It was great having the same people at both events.

This venue is one of a kind and something special. We got married on 1/22/22, a beautiful winter wedding with snow on the ground. The Hiland is completely renovated for the 2022 season. Too much to describe, you need to see it for yourself, the place is gorgeous! The mountains in the background of the golf course are a great site as well. The flow of the wedding was top notch too. You walk in for the ceremony to the right of the venue: a beautiful semi-circular room with floor to ceiling windows! Exit for cocktail hour in the middle of the venue: fireplaces, exposed brick, multiple step downs to create a lovely warm space. Heard towards the ballroom on the left of the venue: huge wide open space with gigantic windows in the back overlooking the golf course and the mountains. The food is INCREDIBLE. You could eat your fill just at cocktail hour. But hopefully you don't because the main dinner was absolutely amazing. Steak and chicken! Yes, both. Daniel, the wedding coordinator, is amazing. I was very impressed by him. Before the big day, he is very laid back and reassuring that all your needs are met, he does everything. On the wedding day, he was a different person. Daniel was on top of things before you even knew it. If you can't decide between venues, choose the Hiland because of Daniel. You like two places and they're similar financially, pick Daniel. You won't regret it. He made the day of a breeze, literally didn't worry about a thing. The Hiland does everything for you. The only other vendors you need are flowers, music, photo, cake. That's it. It was honestly the best bang for your buck too. We looked at over 50 venues. We liked a bunch and loved only a few, one of them being the Hiland. The others we loved were so expensive that the venue took the entire budget! We had the best time there. The groom and bridal suites are super nice too. There isn't a negative thing I can say about this place. Great views: check Beautiful venue: check Awesome food: check Day coordinator: check

Took 2 hrs 45 min for 9 holes. Pro shop said it was my fault because I hadn't informed them there was slow play. Let after 4 hrs while waiting on the 13th tee. 2 groups in front of us were drunk playing loud music with no regard for other golfers. Told pro shop and they again said it was our fault because we didn't let them know. Waste of a beautiful day. The course took no responsibility while blaming the customer.

This review comes SO late, but time got away from me! My husband and I had our wedding there last July and it was AMAZING. I had so much anxiety about planning a big event, we went and saw 10 places before touring Hiland and the day we toured, we signed our contract immediately—The entire process was practically effortless on my part. Daniel and his team were phenomenal through everything! Communication with Daniel was always quick and efficient. There was a back up plan for everything—We had to move the wedding inside last minute due to weather, this was accomplished in a matter of minutes, there was still plenty of room for our guests and the staff set it up beautifully The venue is so gorgeous, there was no need to worry about additional decorating (we added a few personal touches, but that was it) Daniel recommended a GREAT DJ service Experience Events, they were wonderful! The food was AMAZING, especially the cocktail hour and the Viennese table. Not a SINGLE one of our guests had any complaints. The staff were friendly and fun. I really wish I could leave more than 5 stars!! Thanks Dan and Hiland Staff for an amazing day

Filming Megan and David's wedding at Hiland Park Country Club was an absolute pleasure. On the day of the wedding, Dan and the staff were phenomenal - their professionalism and support made my job as a filmmaker not only easier but truly enjoyable. The venue itself is a gem. Its diverse landscapes provided stunning backdrops that enhanced the beauty of every scene we captured. The natural light in the Club House added a warm, inviting glow to the indoor footage, which was a dream to shoot. What stood out most was the seamless collaboration with the Hiland Park team. Their attentiveness and dedication to making the day perfect for Megan and David also extended to working harmoniously with vendors, ensuring we all could do our best work. I highly recommend Hiland Park Country Club to any couple looking for a picturesque and versatile wedding venue. A big thank you to Dan and the staff for their exceptional service on the day of the wedding, making it a memorable experience for everyone involved.

I LOVED having my wedding at the Hiland this past weekend. It was beautiful and all our guests raved about the food. Dan was always available to meet with us to go over all our questions and details we wanted to add. The Hiland was like our second home during the whole process and it was so easy working with Dan I was able to focus on other wedding details. 10000/10 recommend.

3rd year having our FD banquet here, and we love it. Great room, food, and people. A+

We recently attended a wedding and after being there less than 15 minutes my 80 year old husband fell down a step in the bar area that was not marked or had hand rails it was to the right by the door no marking and the floor covering did not indicate any changes in elevation. He fell and broke his hip. He was taken by ambulance to Glens Falls Hospital. I forgot to mention we live in Florida. The only connect with management from the staff at the Haviland was an unidentified man asking my husband’s name. He didn’t ask how he was he was laying on the floor not able to move he just ask for the name and left. We have not heard from them at all. That is just wrong. Shame on you for that type of behavior. He had to have a total hip replacement 100’s of miles away from home. It would take five minutes to give us a quick call. Management should be held accountable for safety problems within their establishment and look into training in compliance courtesy 101. If you are planning a party I would think twice about putting putting your guest in danger.

A huge THANK YOU to Dan and his whole team at HPCC for making our children's wedding day absolutely perfect. The food and drink was everything and more than even expected. We caught a rainy day and missed a ceremony in the grotto, but quite frankly once the day got started bright and early in the bridal and groomsmen suites we hardly took notice. His suggestions for menu selection (the seared ahi and seafood station was amazing) music, local lodging, florist, etc was spot on. You will be most satisfied in choosing HPCC for your special day! Played golf at Hiland Park for the first time this year and fell in love with it!! The course is amazing - challenging and beautiful- we never ended up playing anywhere else!! The staff were all so nice and accommodating -ditto the shout out out to Mike and Jim - we played three out of four days and each experience was wonderful. Except number nine - I will DEFINITELY be back and I’m determined to get over the water!!! 😬 The Boston Group (the other half!)

Have been visiting Hiland Park for a few years and have always had a good experience. We end up not golfing elsewhere because the course and all the staff are so great. This year we brought friends and they absolutely loved everything about Hiland Park! We’ll be back! A big shout out toJim and Mike in the pro shop! They are awesome… The Boston Group!

Three years running to start our vacation...4 hour drive...18 great holes of golf and dinner. We love it !

We were looking at courses near our hotel and came across Hiland. It's about 15 minutes from downtown Lake George. They offered a late afternoon discount so we figured we'd give it a shot. My son and I loved the place. Course was in good shape and the staff was very friendly. If we are ever back in the area it will be our go to course.

Up from Florida for a month and just played Hiland. The course is in fantastic shape. The greens roll great. They roll at a great pace and true… nice and smooth! Looking forward to playing several more times while here! Thanks for a great golf course!

Hiland just got some newer greens mowers that made the greens 12 inches faster this year June 27th 2023...

Fairways are in very good condition . Greens were just sanded so can't comment. But obviously, they take care of the course so my assumption would be that after treatment all would be good.

This course is getting way over priced. Won’t be going this summer sadly!

Fairways looked great, drainage repair in 17 should be done soon. Greens are bumpy, but it’s that time of year. Hopefully they are rollled and smoothed out.

Best golf in the capital region hands down. The customer service at this course is incredible. The golf staff treats me like a pro when I play at the course even though I’ll go out and shoot 30 over par. The course is very well manufactured and it’s a great experience from the moment I drive in to the moment I leave. The Hiland park country club is without a doubt, the best value for your dollar when it comes to golf in this area.

Hiland Park was the first venue we looked at, so we continued looking at other places for a while to have options. Every place we went we found ourself comparing things to Hiland, and frankly the others didn't quite match up. We loved that they included everything so we didn't have to worry about too much. Dan and the staff were super helpful with anything we needed and answered all of our questions! One thing we loved was that we could make a day of decision about whether to have the ceremony inside or outside. With it being in upstate New York in November, you never know what the weather will be like. The day of the wedding it started sprinkling a little about 30 minutes before the start time and Dan was watching the weather forecast and had a plan in case we needed to move the ceremony inside. Luckily it cleared up and we were able to have an outdoor ceremony in November! But he was on top of everything so I could relax and enjoy the day. The other thing we absolutely loved was the amount and type of food offered. Basically every single one of our guests came up to us or our parents and gushed about the food. There were so many options at cocktail hour and it was the perfect mix of comfort, pub food, with some fancy food added in there. I had an entire plate of pigs in a blanket which is my favorite and my husband and I both ate our entire dinner. The whole menu was definitely one of our favorite things about this venue. Overall, they're a great team and would 100% recommend!

Dan was so responsive and worked with all of our requests. All our food was amazing and our guests already can't stop talking about how perfect everything was! Not to mention how gorgeous the grounds are and how beautiful all of the renovations and updates they've made inside the building are! From the moment we booked in 2020 until our wedding in 2022 it was just such a great experience and we would highly recommend using Hiland Park as your wedding venue!

The food was fantastic and most people thought the cocktail hour buffet was the meal and didn’t realize there was a sit down meal next. The atmosphere and bridal /grooms rooms are top notch! We really had a dream wedding there.

Hiland Park Country Club is AMAZING! We had the best experience from beginning to end. Dan Flores helps you every step of the way and he is so organized. Leading up to your wedding, he ensures every detail is handled and the way you want it. On the day, I would highly recommend getting the bridal and groom suites, both well worth it. The bridal suite is fully stocked with beverages and there is plenty of room for everyone to get ready including getting dressed, hair, and makeup. They also provide lunch, which is wonderful! The groom's suite has a lot of entertainment for getting ready. Dan had us come the day before to rehearse and again it went very smoothly. The day of he made sure everything ran smoothly and as a bride I had absolutely nothing to worry about. The staff were beyond friendly. The cocktail hour provides countless options in addition to dinner. Both offer a wide variety of selections. We opted to do the dessert station and our guests were so impressed. This included lighting things on fire and a unique s'more station amongst countless other desserts. Dan allowed us to use one of their cakes from the dessert station which saved on cost--we only needed the cake topper. Our wedding day was a great success and a memory we will never forget thanks to Dan and his staff. The following day, everything is packed and organized. Hiland handles putting all of your special touches up and taking them down. They have a ton of items already available which helps with cost. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend this venue. Thank you for the most memorable day of our lives.

Great challenging course, very well maintained

Played this week, course is in the best condition i've seen it in 4-5 years. Best time of the year to play as well with autumn leaves and a cool breeze.

Having our wedding (ceremony & reception) at Hiland Park was a dream come true! In fact, Hiland Park was the only wedding venue we looked at and instantly fell in love as soon as we walked in for our tour. We knew it was the one! The venue itself is absolutely stunning and it was everything we could have hoped for. The food for both cocktail hour and dinner was fantastic, in fact our guests thought cocktail hour was the dinner because of how much food there was! Everyone raved about the quality of the food and the experience they had at our wedding. The staff was incredible and so attentive to our needs! You can tell that they love what they do and we appreciate all of their help and special attention given to us on our special day! Dan was phenomenal to work with! He is professional, communicative, and just an all around good guy. We had a wonderful experience having Dan as our coordinator and can’t thank him enough for all of his help and expertise! We wish we could relive this day over and over! My husband and I will continue to recommend Hiland Park to anyone looking for a wedding venue!
