Pretty flavorless boba for the price. the boba pearls themselves don't have much flavor, the tea is too milky, and if you want it to taste stronger the add ins for your tea will end up costing around $10. I've given this place a chance twice and each time the boba and tea taste similar to what you could get in a can, but with even less flavor. the waffle is alright though, that dough has more flavor than the drinks.

No just no. Let me start off by saying I NEVER give bad reviews because I’ve never had a reason to but I unfortunately finally have to. I drink a lot of boba, like alot; especially Taro. I ordered my normal taro for myself & my daughter got her normal strawberry milk tea. Both of them tasted off. I knew the minute I tasted it that it wasn’t right. I hate to ever ask workers to remake something but I did anyways because I knew that weren’t right & I paid for them to be so. The taro didn’t have enough powder in it & it wasn’t sweet enough. It almost tasted earl gray like. My daughter’s strawberry milk tea was sour! Like so over powering that it tasted sour. I tasted it after she said she wasn’t going to drink it & sure enough it was bad. I asked for them to be fixed. The girl working acted as if I had a 3rd head & that they wouldn’t be any different because the “tea” is just strong. She did try to fix them but it never turned out right. So I left with a drink I had to throw away anyways. When I realized they couldn’t get the strawberry one right either we just opted for a hot chocolate. I will never go back here. & what’s crazy is that we go to the other location & there’s taste just right. Same company just different locations. I have been to every single boba place in & around st.louis & NEVER had this happen before. Idk if something was spoiled or they didn’t make it right or if the wrong tea was used but it tasted horrible. I would choose the other location or a different boba place all together. Hopefully they get it fixed or they will lose once re-returning customers like myself.

One of the best Boba spots around. Staff is always friendly and happy, and their drinks are among the best! I visit often and won't stop anytime soon! Pay them a visit, it'll be worth it

This is my favorite place to go get boba! My friends and I come as often as we can and the staff is always nice to us. I typically get the Okinawa milk tea and it’s always so good, their waffle is also quite delicious. Overall the place is really nice and I recommend it for anyone in search of a boba place.

Could've been a good bobba tea place if it's consistent. It's good about 30% of the time. If I'm paying more than $10 for a drink, I'm expecting it to be the same quality everytime. Ordered Ube Latte and barely had any Ube in it. Tasted like plain milk with lots of ice. I've had it before and really liked it so it was disappointing. Not coming back. Can't wait for Kung Fu Tea in Marchester to open!

I wanted to write a review about Honey Bea Tea Manchester. After the pool tonight we picked up drinks. I ended up ordering the wrong drink for my daughter (totally my mistake- a misunderstanding on what she wanted). When we picked up the drinks we ordered ahead of time, my daughter got upset saying that not what she ordered. Alex was helping us and said he would remake it. I told him the situation (that it wasn’t that they made it wrong, but instead we ordered the wrong thing). Alex was very kind and said that he wanted to make things right. He offered to make her a mango drink with boba (the drink she wanted), free of charge. I can’t think him enough for noticing and being so thoughtful. We love this place, and the incredible service makes it even better!! Thanks Alex for the great experience and saving the day!!

Delicious boba and very helpful staff

Great atmosphere, great customer service, but the drink I got, was nothing like what they advertise in the picture. I talked to the very nice and polite people that work there, to give this feedback, and I was shown that this drink is made of water and syrup that contains a little bit of seeds, no real fruit. In fact, the passion fruit flavor is almost nonexistent. Is not bad, it’s refreshing and tasty, but is a cheap fake drink. This is a $1.50 drink being sold at a premium price of $10 (Rounded up after taxes) Again great atmosphere, great customer service, but bad product. I’m not returning there. I’ll keep my business at Corner 17 where they make excepcional boba teas with exceptional flavor and real fruit added. === Update to reply to the business owner comment: I love passion fruit, I ate a lot of them in my childhood, and far as I know those are not original passion fruit seeds, generally the seeds contain the actual passion fruit attached to them. My review is honest, because I did felt mislead by what’s sold in the picture compare to what actually looks like and taste like. The barista did show me the syrup used, so that’s water with pre made syrup, which we don’t know in fact if actually contains any real passion fruit juice, to my taste, it did not and I have an honest review. I have 5 stars for the atmosphere, 5 stars for the service, but 1 start for the product. The barista nicely offered me to re-do my drink, and explained that the red color at the base was due to a different flavor of jelly cubes used, but my complaint was about the lack of passion fruit flavor. When I said that I didn’t wanted another and the taste wasn’t bad, it was refreshing, but not at all what I expected based on what was advertised to me. I hope this explanation is more useful.

Wonderful bubble tea! This is the only place I like tapioca boba from! The staff is efficient and helpful. I went with my significant other and their mother. We all really enjoyed their bubble tea. :)

The item is not as pictured. The tea that was delivered looked nothing like the picture that I ordered. It was missing the brown sugar syrup. It had no brown sugar flavor to it. It just tasted like nasty milk. I will not order from here again.

Really bac too sweat qtea is better

It's one of my favorite ones. My favorite signature drink is Okinawa milk tea, and the staff was super nice, too. I will definitely visit again to try a different one.

This is by far the BEST boba place in the St.Louis area. The service was excellent and the strawberry peach oolong tea with strawberry popping boba is very very good. Moon took our picture and held a nice conversation with us, great experience! Recommend for sure.

I bought two drinks, a milk tea and a fruit tea and they were both WAY too sweet and don’t really taste that good either way. It’s definitely not worth the money. Also the guy who was taking my order didn’t seem to know much as I asked him if the drinks came with boba in it already and he just kept getting my order wrong. Definitely won’t be coming back and wouldn’t recommend unless you want cavities. Also it’s insane how a business doesn’t want to take some criticism. If the drinks are too sweet then businesses should be ok taking in customer feedback to better their service. It’s not ok telling customers that they’re not allowed to leave feedback or even a 1 star review if that’s what I felt.

The best Boba I've ever tried in and around St Louis. Ever since I moved to St Louis I've been in the hunt for Boba tea as it's my favourite drink but I've always been disappointed with either quality or taste. This the first time in the past 6 months that I've found a reliable place that's consistent with taste and flavour. I've been trying multiple drinks every other day for the past couple of weeks and they've never disapointed me. The staff is really friendly and they recommend good drink when ever I ask them. The ambience is good and they maintain it very clean and hygiene just as we expect for a food place.

This location of Honey Bee Tea is packed tightly into a little strip off of Manchester. It’s cutely and consistently decorated, and I’ve loved the music choices (2013-2015 pop) both times I visited! I will say that this space is very cramped. It’s a shame that it’s not quite suitable for long stays, since so much effort went into the aesthetic. For my first drink, I got the Ube Taro Latte. It had a very subtle ube/taro flavor and was a little bland, but that could easily be fixed just by asking for a little extra sweetener. My second drink was the Grape Probiotic Yogurt. This drink was bright and tangy with a good balance of sweet and tart. I didn’t get any food, but Honey Bee offers both sweet and savory snacks! I’ll definitely be frequenting this one whenever I’m on Manchester!

The staff was so helpful. I didn't like the drink I got but that was my fault. The people I was with loved theirs. We will be back.

Tried both the Okinawa and house specialty drinks. The ambience was fantastic, but a bit disappointed that despite requesting customized sugar levels, they weren't adjusted as requested. Overall, a pleasant experience!

I was really excited to visit this place as someone who loves milk tea but recently developed a severe dairy allergy in the last year. They state that they have "dairy free" milk tea and slush options, however it is NOT dairy free. Their milk is lactose free and still contains caseinate, they do not have actual milk alternatives. So while this would be great for someone who is lactose intolerant, if you are vegan, have a milk allergy, or intolerance you CANNOT drink it!! Please fix your advertising so people are not disappointed, and more importantly harmed. I did get a fruit tea instead, and I must say it was quite yummy, but I went to this place hoping I finally found truly dairy free boba. The staff was not particularly helpful either when asked questions, they seemed confused. The space was very clean, however this location is slightly small.

Recently visited Honey Bee Tea and was thoroughly impressed by their creative and delicious tea offerings. Bought different drinks for the family and each drink I tried was a delightful blend of unique flavors. The atmosphere of the café is warm and inviting. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, happily recommending drinks based on my preferences. I highly recommend their specialty teas for anyone looking to try something new and flavorful. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Honey Bee Tea!

I have had this on my radar for a long time and I was not disappointed!! Sooo yummy best Boba in MO next to Societea. But the staff here was a lot friendlier! Super sweet you can tell they enjoy what they do. Got my drink fast! Tasted great nut allergen friendly. Some people on here have complained about too much ice... Simple solution is do what I did. Ask for light ice! They were happy to do so. I got the Brown Sugar Crem. and it was fantastic! The pudding was a little bit much from me but still super yummy. Would and will definitely be coming back despite the two hour drive for me!

Loved the drink that I got here and would totally come back again for another. They don't really show it on the online menu, but you can customize the amount of ice and the sweetness level of your drink as well. As someone who prefers my tea more on the bitter side, this was amazing. Keep in mind, though, that when you order any boba/jelly additions to your drink (even the standard menu items that show it in the image), there is an upcharge of one dollar.

Honey Bee Tea is a franchise and still serves some excellent tasting Boba Tea. (Didn't expect) We tried the place because we were craving some and the reviews were nothing short of 4.5 in all of their stores, which made us smile with joy. They have samples of certain flavors, which I would highly recommend because you may want to alter the taste as per your liking. Funnily, they recommend you let them make it as per their method or it may not be the same. The other Boba places we've tried never had this as a caution, but we went as per their recommendation. We liked it, but I'm sure the ice could have been tad bit less since it was almost quarter of the glass. The toasted creme brulee was spot on. It almost tastes like liquified version of a creme brulee. The flavor was intense and we loved it. The other tea we had was the Okinawa Milk Tea and it was splendid. I don't know what it was, but I made sure to drink it to the very last drop. Barring the ice quantity, Honey Bee Tea is pretty good with their assortment of flavors and quick service. Would highly recommend.

I go 50/50 between this location and the one in Brentwood. The quality of the product is really consistent between both locations. I’ve never been disappointed with anything I’ve gotten here. Right now my favorite order is the oolong milk tea with boba. It actually has that pleasantly bitter tea flavor and doesn’t just taste like sugar. Sometimes I will add the sea salt foam which is sooo good but really sweet and decadent. In the summer I like the fruit teas with boba and lychee jelly. There are almost limitless options so I think there is something here for everyone.

My only complaint is that you can’t adjust the sugar level of the drinks. I find some to be a little too sweet. The drinks are very consistent as well, I’ve never had a bad experience here.

I love me some boba, and honey bee tea does it well. The consistency of the boba is cooked to perfection, it’s bouncy and sweet. There are many options here, I usually go for the jasmine milk tea with boba and grass jelly, it’s a mature sweet. Not extremely sweet like Thai tea and has a mellow aroma to it. I visit this shop once a week and I’m never disappointed. 🧋

I took my daughters 6th grade girl classmates to Honey Bee after the girl’s soccer game Sat morning and they all had a great experience. Good tea, great popping bobas and lots of laughs and giggles!

UPDATE: I was incorrect about the cup size. The store reached out and proved the cups are indeed the same size. Changing back to 5 stars for the best boba in the area. I removed my 5 star review because of recent changes they've made. This used to be the best place to get boba. They recently changed to smaller cups but kept the same price. The amount of substance you get now is almost insulting. The drinks still taste great but I just cant justify $6 on it now. The attached picture is directly from the counter.

First time having it! Had the brown sugar milk boba. Very tasty and wonderfully sweet. Boba was soft and chewy just as it’s supposed to be. Also got the mango tea with popping boba. Very refreshing and cool for a warm fall’s day. Excited to try their other flavors!

I used to love it here. The drinks are still good but the cup they come in is smaller then they used to be. They are taller and much thinner and mostly ice. 5 sips and the drink is gone. The creme brulee mix-in, in tastes like burnt rubber, maybe I just got a bad batch? However, with the size of the drinks being as they are, I will not be returning. It is not worth the money.

Okinawa Milk Tea With Toasted Crème Burulee is absolutely and sinfully delicious. I’ll never understand why this stuff is so expensive but I tend to buy it anyway.
