Food was really good! I was with 83yr old father and girlfriend and the music was loud when we entered the building , but they turned it down . I really enjoyed Honey's

This place is a hidden gem . The only thing I didn’t like is it’s only open on Sunday . Don’t walk run… this place is amazing

Love this place for those Sunday afternoons, when you just want to get out the house! Nice company, friendly owner, nice music, food is SO good, and the owner is sweet as pie!

Small hole in the wall restaurant and bar with one pool table. The atmosphere was chill and easy-going. Great place to have a cold one and a bite to eat with friends or family. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. The food, amazing! I ordered the smothered turkey wings, collard greens, dressing, and Mac. Everything was hot, fresh and really delicious; perfectly cooked and seasoned well. I'll definitely be a returning customer. Nom nom! 😋

It's a hole in the wall basically. A bar / food truck . Just being honest. We arrived at 1:30 pm. I ordered the chicken wings and my husband ordered the oxtail plate. We waited about 1h 15 mins. Just to be told they were out of chicken. And the plate that my husband had, well let's just say. The oxtail were not very good. He got the last plate of oxtail. That could be the reason. Small oxtails not appealing. Mostly fat. Overcooked or just not cooked properly. My husband is a chef. He didn't finish the plate. And I got refunded for the chicken wings. Service actually sucked. Not the servers, but the process they had for taking orders. Might try again. But most likely won't. FyI it was my husband's first time trying an oxtail.

Food was great. Service was great. Just didn't understand why I got one pork chop for 15 dollars.

This place is sweeter honey and stronger than vodka. I'm from Cali, and I was introduced to this place by my good friend, goody, and her husband. When we were driving there, it seemed like we're just going through the backroads of Texas. I admit that when we got there, I was a bit skeptical about the place. I'm a true witness of what down-home soul food is all about. It starts with a friendly atmosphere mixed with smiling faces, and as I look at the menu, that's when the house of love comes full circle. When I ordered my food, I couldn't talk anymore. I was so impressed by the serving that I had to lick my fingers. I guarantee that whatever you order, you'll be licking your fingers, too . Thanks honey ya'll are the absolute best 👌 👍 😍.

Stewed turkey leg, cornbread stuffing , Mac and cheese , smothered potatoes.. AMAZING! Everything about this meal was perfect! Thank you Ms. honey! Will be coming back for more

Honeys Kitchen was absolutely amazing! We used catering services and were so impressed with the service, quality of food, and professionalism. We were served mac and cheese, chicken quarters, rolls, and green beans with everybody wanting more. I want to personally thank the owner, Ms.Honey, for a tremendous job well done during our family's time of need. We coudn't have asked for better!

Went for a friends birthday party, they did a good job of setting up her birthday theme. Small dance floor. Good size place for about 40-50 people get together.

Honey's got that old East side feel to it. You can't duplicate it. It has to be experienced. You got the Trail Ride groups there. Old & young Folk alike. Karaoke on Fridays, I believe on the first of the month. Call and double check that. Pool tables, Cards, you know that family reunion vibe. This place is for everyone. Down home experience. Greeted upon entering the establishment with a friendly & professional staff. The food is just like what my "Big Mamma - Mother Dear - MawMaw - Gammie" use to cook. I look forward to dining in or picking up dinner weekly. Piping hot, seasoned to perfection, very tasty and delicious. ☆☆☆☆☆

i searched low and high for soul food all day and finally someone answered & actually had oxtail available this was a 10/10!! everything was cooked fresh, very BLACK owned and such nice people! If you’re looking for something that taste like your grandma made it come here😭😭😭😭

I was at Honey's Kitchen last Sunday to watch the game and eat with my kids after their practice at Champions Sports Complex. My kids ordered the oxtail and the never ate at Honey's Kitchen but they wanted to if it was good. My kids 17 & 14 loved the oxtails so much they said Ms. Honey cooks like we were at her house. Lol 😂. I had to share this with you because they are right. The waitress MG is Fabolous, she has the service like you being waited on from your Mamas sister. Honey's Kitchen is I'm a league of her own. We'll be back plus the music and the food; what a winning combination. If you're looking for a home cooked meal make sure you check out Honey's kitchen

Good food for the soul! I’m in love with this place. I’m definitely adding this to my weekly rotation. I also had the fish, oxtails and chicken wings. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars!

Honey’s Kitchen is the BEST Soul Food that I have eaten at in public. It literally give you the older, old school vibe of southern cooking. Honey’s food is full of flavor and cooked with MUCH Love and expertise. Theirs several menu choices, you will find yourself ordering extra sides because it’s hard to choose. My favorite Entree is the fried pork chop with Honey’s signature Turkey Gravy. It’s is definitely amazing. Oxtails, Turkey legs/wings and fried foods are also popular and customer favorites. This is my Sundays spot EVERY week. I’m looking for Honey’s to to expand the hours/days. You will also get great service. The prices are comparable. You have to try Honey’s Kitchen your taste buds are truely missing out😀😀

Honey’s Place is the spot for a grown and chill outing. The drinks are good and the food is amazing. I brought my family to Honeys for a night out and we enjoyed ourselves. We are starting to become regulars. We supported Soul Food Sundays and the food is delicious and fulfilling! Just a great well rounded country life environment. If you are visiting Texas and want to experience REAL Texas hospitality, you have to visit Honey’s Place!!

Went to Honeys for soul food Sundays and I have to say, this was the best meal decision for a good Sunday meal! The music was peaceful and the family environment made it feel like family Sunday dinner at grandmas house! When they aren’t serving food, the club scene is grown and fun! Great music, pool tables, good drinks, and a plain good country time!! They are adding more entertainment and activities as they grow. Definitely worth visiting with friends or by yourself for a good mature turn up!

It's a great place. The people are friendly. There is always a place to park. It's byob they have pool tables and there s always some type of food truck outside with food.
