I came here on the weekend with my grandmother, and honestly the food was amazing! Everyone was so nice, and the chefs were very talented. Not sure whether the owner was there, but thanks for the hospitality.

This is an adorable little place with the most delicious corned beef hash I have ever had. We also tried the veggie hash breakfast which was equally amazing. What a gem and fantastic find this place is. We'll be back really soon!

My wife and I tried Honey’s Kitchen during one of our day’s off. Walking in, you feel like you’re transported back to the comforts of home (including the delicious smells!). They’ve got all the classic breakfast items such as pancakes, french toast, eggs, etc as well as an eclectic menu of delicious combinations and specials such as their own homemade corn beef hash and GYRO hash! My wife had the pesto omelette and I had the homemade corn beef hash which were absolutely delightful. The coffee was absolutely soul warming and delicious (I even took a to-go cup which our waitress was happy to offer when I couldn’t shut up about how good the coffee was!). The staff here are incredibly friendly, hospitable, and really make sure you’re taken care of, I would highly recommend making a stop in to this wonderful slice of home!

We were here in town for a wedding and decided to try this place out based on positive ratings. It was very good, people were nice, and felt cozy inside. Iced coffee wasn’t good at all.

Wonderful place with excellent food. Tight quarters and they always draw a crowd. I usually grab a seat at the counter unless we go with friends. Still great food and service at a decent price. Take out too.

I stopped by to eat something because I was hungry, the food was great, the service was great ( DEBBIE WAS GREAT) the atmosphere was nice for a single person to eat alone no rush! Great way to start my birthday at!

Cozy, clean and welcoming breakfast cafe serving a loyal local clientele. The corned beef is not to be missed. House made, it is juicy, tender and cubed into generous serving. Added to a hash with a few eggs and you will be happy and full well into the afternoon. Personable and efficient staff round out a great experience.

Wonderful little restaurant with some unique menu items. Update: As the years go by, I love Honey's even more. The wait staff is amazing - friendly, remembers and ask about my family, can't do enough for us and the food is amazing. Truly a West Essex gem. You are missing out if you haven't eaten there.

Not sure how I came across this place but really happy I did! It has a really homey vibe to it reminding me of eateries in New England. In my party, it was everyone's first time there and everyone loved the food!

The food is delicious! We ordered the challah french toast with carnalities fruit and pecan as well as the corn beef hash (they ran out of pulled pork hash) and both are really good. Large portion. Service is lacking a bit but will keep the five stars for the good food.

The home fries were cold and limp. I asked for a side order to be well done (crisp); that too came out the same, just a bit warmer.

Always a GREAT meal! One time my wrap came without fries. When I asked about my fries, the response was "they weren't hot anymore so they're making a new batch for you".....how many restaurants would go out of their way to make sure the fries were fresh and hot. My go-to!

Amazing, from start to finish. The greeting as we walked in, the service before, during, and after the meal, and the food—dear lord, the food—were all perfect. I had the Italiano Omelet, which was huge and immaculately presented with home fries and perfectly crisp bacon. Too bad there’s not a sixth star to give them! Thanks Honey!

It was a cute place but the waiter was a little weird..seemed like she didn't want to be bothered. Which made us feel a little uncomfortable. However, the food was good. Would I eat there again? Yes but wouldn't dine in. I'd would call in my order and pick it up.

Been coming to this Gem of a restaurant since 2010. Since then the food has always been my favorite around. Great ingredients, healthy choices, the best Taylor Ham Egg Cheese in NJ (Yes really), this place is one of kind. On top of that they have an incredibly friendly staff that creates a warm, comforting atmosphere. I strongly suggest stopping by here as I have not had one bad meal in 12 years here.

Nice little breakfast and lunch spot will definitely be back! I came back recently and ordered a salmon wrap and it was one one of the best pieces of fish I ever ate. Chef cooked it perfectly medium, I was hesitant to order it because most places when you get a salmon wrap they give you the smallest piece ever and rest is filler. One of the best wraps I ever had!

Decent food. Usually nice hosts besides the one lady who answered the phone a while back and impatiently took my order and made a rude comment before hanging up the phone. Your paying customers are human beings, not perfect ordering specimens saying exactly what needs to be said when ordering lunch for 3+ people. Haven’t returned since.

What an incredible hidden gem! The corndbeef hash is unreal. You wont find it unless you are looking for it. But, so worth the search. Cute little dinning room with a family owned staff! FIND THIS PLACE

Ordered the Mexican omelette with home fries and what toast. Everything was delicious! The omelette must have had 4 or 5 eggs in it, it was huge. The home fries were nice and crispy. The staff was super friendly.

We stopped in last weekend for breakfast based on a review of the home made corn beef hash! It was awesome!!! Just to start, when we walked in we found a cozy, clean and bright place with about 9 tables & counter seating. The servers & staff are very friendly and you could see them talking with the regulars and they were super friendly with all of the customers. The server read our mind & bright coffee asap and it was hot & delicious! So, the corn beef hash was piping hot, and loaded with large pieces of meat, potatoes, perfectly cooked onions & peppers!! I got it with egg whites on top and the eggs were cooked perfectly. My wife got the gyro hash with eggs and it was delicious!! The crazy thing is my picky daughter tried both hashes & she couldn’t stop eating them! She loved the gyro hash and my wife had to tell her to stop taking her breakfast!! My daughter had the pancake and it was light, fluffy & delicious!! We really loved the food at Honey’s, and it’s not close to us. We will drive there for the hash again!!

I love it here, Honey's is really close to my job and I literally drive by everyday. Recently we decided to give it a try and I instantly regretted not coming here sooner. We have bagel Fridays at my work place but I decided to opt out and my husband and I now go over to Honey's and eat breakfast instead. It is such a cute and cozy place, you walk in and it is so welcoming. We once were there on a snowy morning and the setting was so perfect, I felt like I was in movie lol. The staff are so friendly and attentive. The food is great and they offer a lot of great choices on there menu. Now I look forward to Friday's even more now that Honey's is a part of it.

The challah French toast is amazing! It has caramelized peaches, strawberries, bananas and topped with pecans. Very filling and delicious!

I had the homemade corned beef hash. Delish. Coffee is ok, could be better but not bad. I'm a little picky about my coffee. This is why I didn't give 5 stars. Service is very helpful and friendly. This will become a regular stop for me.

Delicious food, good service! Had avocado toast with pouches eggs and arugula. Husband and kids had classic pancakes and bacon and eggs. Coffee was fresh and on point. The inside is bright, airy, and pretty. This place is a gem!

We usually order Gyros from the Antik place, today they didn’t answer the phone. Lucky us , Honeys gyros and fries are much better, meat and sauce was far superior.Will be ordering from Honey’s a lot more.

Let me start by saying that this place is the BOMB!!! If your looking for a good place to pull in and get good food then stop here. From the very minute you pull into Honey's you are greeted by the friendly staff, from there you can either seat down or place your order at the counter. I love their breakfast as much as their lunch. My fav is the Thick Sliced Challah Bread French Toast and my husband's favorite is the Tuna. Did I mentioned they also have outdoor seating too! Trust me you wont be disappointed PS: I LOVE CARRIE"S CAKE :)

Swung in earlier today, have been meaning to try this out for like a year. Mentioned it was my first time and just asked what to get. Crab cake salad was the winner (and I had saw the crab cakes were allegedly fire). Other reviews held up - It was FANNNTASTIC. Believe it had chopped up apples and cucumber in there (among other things), but the dressing honey mustard vinaigrette dressing made it. One of the ladies asked me to let her know how I liked it, since I'm not going to drive back, hopefully she sees this. That said, I'm not waiting another year to go back. This will make it into my standard food order mix. Note: apparently if it's a busy day, crab cakes will sell out pretty early.

After my doctor’s appointment, I decided to grab some breakfast. I did an online order and after realized that it was only 3 mins or so away. I called and they said they would be right out. I didn’t have to wait longer than 10 mins. I checked my sandwich to ensure it didn’t have cheese and it didn’t but I did realize my avocado was missing. I called again and she was very apologetic and brought out a side of avocado and even threw in a slice of cake. Honestly, I was having a rough morning and she didn’t even know that that made me smile and I appreciated it thoroughly. It was the thought and the fact that it’s the small things that customers appreciate and I whole heartedly appreciate the customer service. By the way, may I add that my Taylor ham on brioche roll with arugula, egg, tomato was absolutely delicious. ☺️

I always order on door dash. The order is right 100% of the time, the food is warm and always cooked the way I ask. Perfect breakfast spot.

My boyfriend and I found Honey’s when we realized The Famous Pancake House was packed. We ended up loving this little place and we keep coming back! Clean, quiet and nice service. I definitely recommend if you want a nice filling breakfast to enjoy.

Omg...Honey's . Food is off the chart ridiculous delicious and the place is packed on the weekends. Somehow they manage to get people on quickly and serve food piping hot. They serve breakfast and lunch. Many of their offerings have a special touch of Mexican flavor. Go. You won't be disappointed.
