What a great find. Trying something new we walked up to Houni*s Italian Ice and tried two of their creations: Coconut truffle creation and the strawberry shortcake creations. Friendly service and excellent product. Give it a try he will not be disappointed.

Absolutely INCREDIBLE! I live in Illinois (12 hrs away) but was in the area because I travel a lot. I decided to try Houni's Italian Ice on Saturday as a fun treat but ended up coming back before leaving the next morning 😂. I would honestly be going here almost every day if I lived in the area; the staff are extremely friendly, the Italian Ice is DELICIOUS with an immense variety of flavors, the pricing is reasonable, I don't know how much better it could get.

Love the vanilla soft serve! It's so rich and creamy!!! My only gripe is I never know what size my vanilla soft serve in a cone will be. I've been by a dozen times or more, and each time is different. I've ordered a small many times and it'll be anywhere from what you would consider a small to be, or it might be what you'd consider a large to be. I've ordered large, which is quite expensive, and I've gotten a massive amount on the cone, but I've also gotten a large that was the same as some of the "small" sizes. It gets a bit frustrating that there doesn't seem to be an "across the board" sizing. It really just depends on the server.

we checked the hours on the listing here and clearly shows 10pm. it was closed the 1st day we checked (Mon), looked at going the next day. because we saw they had an hour left We made a special trip to drive out to Simpsonville solely to visit Houni's... And then their hours written on the window say 9:00 p.m. and they wouldn't serve us. very disappointing.... list your correct hours accurately

I ordered 50 for my employees and it was 5 stars across the board. All flavors were delicious. They provided a cooler with plenty of ice to keep cool while transporting from their location to my workplace. Highly recommend!

Absolutely love this place! Excellent service and outstanding prices. I just can't resist getting a half gallon each time I come. A good combo is Piña colada and blue raspberry.

The ice cream treat is to live for. So refreshing and unique and plenty of it. Staff was courteous and friendly while being very professional.

The best hands down. Don't compare this small passion project to big, soul-leas national chains like Rita's or Jeremiahs. It's a local gem.

I ordered Houni’s for a birthday party for 80 people and the catering service was excellent. Their communication was quick and thorough. They packaged up everything nicely in a cooler for us to bring to the event, and the food was delicious. Overall I highly recommend Hounis for large events!

Had the gelati - ice and gelato mixed - and it was very good. Unfortunately, you have to drive on woodruff road to get there and the parking lot is a little nuts people coming and going in different directions. Service was fine (found a hair in my food but it was too close to the end to complain). I would go again for sure.

Houni’s is a family favorite! Incredibly delicious with a wide array of choices and creative flavors. Amazing dairy-free options as well, which can be difficult to find! The staff is always so friendly and kind, a perfect place to enjoy a treat with family and friends.

What a gem I found here... I'm not really a fan of ices but the salted caramel ice was unreal! And not only that, the vanilla soft serve is as good as I've ever had. On par with Ritas and DQ, no doubt. Great place, you gotta try it.

The snowcastle, down the road was closed one day. I started driving back home, and saw this new place. The 2 kids wanted snow cones sooo bad, so I told them we can get some Italian ice. They loved it, especially the cotton candy flavor mixed with vanilla ice cream. I recommend the peach/sweet tea concoction they have. Hounies has become out new favorite ice treat place.

Today was our first visit to Houni’s Italian Ice on Woodruff Road. The Chocolate Cookie Crunch was a Grand Slam!!!! Every bite was full of flavor and delicious!! The staff is very friendly, making us feeling very welcomed, and anxious to try their other many flavors. Wow!! The best!!!!

We’ve visited here 3 times now, and each time has been a five star experience. The Italian ice flavors are delicious and the soft serve ice cream is so smooth and creamy. Excellent customer service each time, as well. We will be back!

Great flavor selection. So far all the ones we tried have been excellent. I think we've been there 4 to 5 times not in a month.

Love this place. You have to try it. This is not your average shaved ice shop. The ice is smooth and very finely shaved. You can choose to just have the ice, or an ice and soft serve mixture. It's the flavors that really set them apart. Everyone of them I have tried have been amazing. Don't just take my word for it, go get one for yourself!

You must try the gelati, a pure blissful combination of their vanilla gelato and there plethora of fruity italian ice combination. I love the piña colada, mango, and dark cherry. These are very refreshing treats on a nice sunny day, where every spoonful of the gelati takes you wherever your imagination wants to float.

Staff was friendly, soft serve was very yummy and a great custard like consistency. The Italian ice also had lots of good flavor. Tried the cookies n cream gelati and will definitely be back to try more!

I have always loved Houni's so much, and my husband and I go on dates there frequently. We also used them to cater our wedding and they were fantastic! So easy to work with and did a great job. It was definitely a hit for our guests too!

I normally don’t leave reviews, but I had to leave one this time. It was my first time trying Houni’s, and it was AMAZING. I normally go to Rita’s, but this may be my new “go to” spot for a gelati!!!! Plus it’s closer to home:)

Yum! We all loved it. It's similar to Rita's Italian Ice, but it's soft serve instead of custard. One of the pictures I added is carmal apple (I think 🤦🏻‍♀️), and the all green one is pistachio with chocolate chips. You can get it with or without the soft serve ice cream. The small is plenty big! Wednesday is double card punch day (they only give you one punch per transaction, 2 on Wednesday).

Best ice cream out there I do say Italian ice cream is like one of the greatest things I've ever eaten no one else can touch them they have a legacy of making a great ice cream it's so on point it's crazy.

It's just so good, ya'll. Best ice cream place in Greenville in my opinion. Love all the flavors and monthly creations. My only suggestion is that they get better to-go cups with actual lids to make transport home easier. I would also love to see a location with better seating indoor and outdoor. When you have kids, it's not ideal to sit in the car.

We had the best experience hiring Houni’s for our party. They served 100 people and everyone raved about how good they were plus how friendly they were. Thank you for making the party extra special with some delicious dessert that was dairy free for my daughter.
