Tom Kha Ramen and their tap Kombucha were delicious, definitely will be back! If you’re ordering to go it’s not in an annoying container either which is a plus!

Service and food was A1. This is now my favourite place to go to within Saint Pete. The prices are decent and if you ever wanna have a quick bite to eat with someone you love or even have a self-care date with yourself, this is the place to be.

Amazing Vegan sushi! Came here for a friends birthday with a group of 12 or so- half of who don’t eat plant based and this place blew our expectations. Every single roll we tried was off the charts. Thank you guys for accommodating us!! Oh yeah and that tiramisu…. WOW.

I’ve gotten two takeout orders now and have had an overall excellent experience. The pricing is a bit steep especially on the rolls that are just veggie rolls but the product is really good. Really enjoyed the dumplings and winter roll and the guy on the phone was really nice (:

Glad I was finally able to finally make it in here, was not disappointed at all. And I'm going to totally be "that guy" too, the service and atmosphere is 100% better Than Good Intentions. So if you just walked out of there due to the service or noise, this place is just right around corner, you won't be disappointed.

We are not vegan, but we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch here. The food was tasty, well prepared with a nice presentation. I recommend this restraunt to all looking for a nice meal experience.

While my sweet potato mango Avacado sushi roll was delicious and beautiful, at $17. I expected it to be more filling meal. Was also surprised there are no rice or noodle bowls. Unfortunately, the sushi roll was more like an appetizer. However, the ambience is very hip and cool.

One of the better sushi restaurants I have been to. It’s also a great Japanese-themed vegan restaurant. I haven’t found a sushi roll that I didn’t like and I haven’t tried most of the menu now. The Tom Kha Ramen is amazing the wife and I get it every time. Great place to go for a date or meal with friends/family.

As a vegan, one thing I missed the most was sushi. And while most restaurants have a vegetarian roll you can make vegan it becomes veggies rolled in rice. Bleh. I love the flavor of the sushi and the textures of the meat replacements. So good!

Hands down, the best vegan wonton soup is here! Their hand crafted vegan sushi is absolutely delicious. I drive 45 minutes just to eat here, and you should too!! I've been coming here over a year, and now I bring all my friends and guests to devour this scrumptious food.

The tiramisu is to die for. I would come again for that alone.

What a wonderfully unique restaurant! House of Vegano has an assortment of delicious vegan sushi options. The Baked Alaska and Still I Rise rolls were especially good. I had never had vegan sushi before, but I am glad I did here! And I am not even vegan! I would highly recommend House of Vegano!

Nice cozy place. Staff is welcoming and friendly. Food was great, actually, amazing but a bit costly. The ordering mechanism did not match the prices. They charge high end but then again you must get up and go to the bar to place your order once you are ready to order. Don’t expect for anyone to check up on you once they deliver your food to the table. If you need anything you must get up and go to the bar again. Not necessarily an inconvenience just an unexpected dynamic for the price we were expected to pay.

When did vegan food start tasting this good? I’m genuinely questioning changing my entire dietary habits after eating here TWICE in two days. The atmosphere is lush, open and inviting. The dishes are divine, well-curated and it’s clear the owners are doing something iconic with “House of Vegano”. The staff, floor manager John SPECIFICALLY, truly is the cherry on top with their Disney-level attention to detail and care. Each knowledgeable in the food and a direct reflection on the overall vision for the direction of this amazing discovery. You will NOT be disappointed. 💯❤️

Guys… don’t let this place pass your St. Pete visit. Holy Quality Batman. I am not vegan… vegetarian… or unfriendly with gluten… but my goodness… with food like this, I would gladly be. The service is top notch, the vibes are chill and welcoming, and the food is absolutely incredible. Chef Tahlia and Chef Erica presented a lunch feast that was unforgettable. Staying at the Mari Jane, we were recommended several other restaurants during our visit, but we couldn’t pass the House of Vegano and not try it. The floor manager John had white glove quality service - efficient and kind, knowledgeable and friendly. You really couldn’t ask for a better spot if you have ANY food specifics. We ordered the edamame, tahini dumplings, wonton soup, and one of their signature rolls. Every. Bite. Was. Delicious. I think the wonton soup really surprised us. Little spice to get the flavor palette popping, and dumplings that I would do nasty things for. A DEFINITE recommendation for anyone with dietary restrictions, but more so for those interested in trying 5-star vegan and gluten free food. I’m feeling energized and revitalized after walking around under the Florida sun because of this place. THANKS!

One of the best vegan experiences I’ve ever had anywhere. Will definitely be back. Dumplings and Burg roll are can’t miss items. Seaweed salad: 9/10 pretty standard. Nice presentation though. HoV dumplings: 11/10 no notes Tahini dumplings: 10/10 Burg roll: 11/10 Spicy tuna: 9/10 Baked alaska: 8/10 Sweet chili sauce is excellent. Loved the attention to ingredients, and that so much of this menu is done by hand. John took great care of us too.

Exceptional sushi, service, and ambience! During this visit I had the wonderful Burg roll. House of Vegano is one of my favorite places to relax and enjoy artisanal food in St. Pete.

There are not enough positive adjectives to express how delicious and amazing this experience was!!! We got the King Krab and Baked Alaska. Everything being Vegan is such a great condiment but just like the soy sauce, it was not needed. So so so delicious!! It was so good, well worth every penny spent. Enjoy!

This is officially St. Pete’s best sushi restaurant! It doesn’t even matter that this is vegan cuisine, the flavors and textures are so out of this world that you won’t even notice the difference! Each of their dishes are so thoughtfully curated and overflowing with the best ingredients. You will not leave hungry, but so overwhelming happy and grateful that a place like this exists. This food is ethically sourced and sustainably, nutritious and full of love. The staff was incredibly warm and friendly with a true local appeal that makes you feel at home. Do not sleep on this restaurant! It’s a culinary experience not to be missed!

Went here for lunch and devoured everything we ordered. The place wasn't busy, probably because it was a Thursday afternoon. The service we received was fast and friendly. Very cute setup with multiple styles of tables and a modern vibe. My mom isn't vegan, and she said the dumplings were the best she's ever tasted. I think I had a minor allergic reaction to something in the Tom Kha Ramen as it made my throat instantly scratchy feeling (I don't have any known allergies, so not sure what's in it that caused that), but the flavor was good and my mom was fine with it. It's safe to say we LOVED the food. Yum!! -no changing tables in restrooms for changing babies/small kids.

First time here. You walk in, take a menu, sit down, then go to counter to place order. Plenty of seating available. Two of us, ordered 1 Alaska Roll, 1 Spicy Toona Roll, 2 Wonton soups, and 2 Açaí juices Order came to around 80.00 with tip. A little expensive but well worth it. Quality food and made to order while you wait. Will be back.

Beautiful space with some amazing people. Customer service was excellent. They were low on dumplings when we went, but they were very accommodating. The manager offered to make special dumplings to make the order complete, at no charge. We enjoyed our sushi as well. We ordered ‘The Burg’ which was topped with some of the BEST vegan seafood (highly recommend). Overall great experience can’t wait to return.

All your vegan sushi dreams come true at House of Vegano 💚 we tried 4 different rolls (and inhaled them before pics) - they were each uniquely perfect. The service was amazing, everything came out lightening fast. Atmosphere was everything. We washed it all down with tiramisu and a guava cheesecake to go. I wish we lived closer! Any time you’re in St Pete, do yourself a favor and get you some HOV.

honestly super sad to write this review. i was a regular for months at this place until i just couldn’t be anymore. every time i’ve ate there my food takes at least an hour to come out and causes delays in my schedule. i waited an hour and a half on my birthday because they forgot my roll. no apology or discount for that either. then today i tried to order to go for mother’s day for a party of 5. they took my order no problem over the phone, and he was even double checking with the owner that this would be possible. he told me it would be ready in 1 and a half hour. long wait time but whatever, i expected this. but then after waiting for an hour, i was about to leave my house to grab my to go order, i get a call from an employee telling me they can no longer fulfill the order and they were canceling it because the restaurant is full. i guess it’s not really first come, first serve. it’s more like order to go, take a gamble. he told me i should’ve placed it 24 hrs in advance. i could understand if it was ten people but a party of five? i am left scrambling on mother’s day to find another place to eat. food is decent, service is the worst i’ve ever seen.

We recently went to House of Vegano. The food and service are top tier! My husband and I are not vegan and the sushi at house of vegano hold up if not surpasses some of the non vegan sushi we’ve had. Volcano roll, The Burg, and the Cali roll are our favorites, but no matter what you choose you can’t go wrong.

Food is amazing!! Ramen was tasty! Sushi rolls and dumplings the best! Guava Cashew “cheesecake” desert was delicious! My brother couldn’t believe it was vegan. We came right before the rush so we did not have to wait too long for the food.

Editing my review because the food was really good. I just had a bad experience but hopefully it was a one off. Came here once before and the food was good. Placed order yesterday for 5pm pickup. Drove over an hour to get it and there was a handwritten sign saying they were closed. Nowhere on their website or google was any mention of being closed, nor was the online ordering turned off. Left a voicemail immediately but never heard back. Then at almost 11pm I started getting phone calls and a voicemail asking if I was going to pickup my food. Thankfully I called back because they’d fully planned to charge me for food I never received since they were closed! I had to explain several times to multiple people just to get a refund for food I never received. Why even keep online ordering on while closed? Why not use common sense and cancel the order that was clearly marked for pickup during a time you were closed? And why make it an ordeal to get a refund after this super negative experience fully caused by the restaurant? Also the order was for 5pm. If they got back and made it at 6:30 like they said, were they really going to serve me food at 11pm after it had been sitting there for over 4 hours??? Very disappointing experience all around.

We ended up waiting half an hour to be served until I finally spoke up and pointed this out, after which we were informed we'd need to order at the counter, which is the first we heard of this. I'd have given 2 stars just for this but the actual service was great once we got our food which is why I gave 3 stars. The food was surprisingly good even though I'm not a vegan. I had the seaweed salad, sweet potato roll, and avocado and cucumber roll. While it's not what I'd normally eat, I still found it filling and delightful. The atmosphere was nice and, as the restaurant is on a corner, the windows wrap around to the side. All in and all, once we actually got our food, it was a decent dining experience.

Hands down, without a doubt, the BEST VEGAN SUSHI I've ever had. This place is amazing. My grandson and I looked forward to eating here for over a year and when we came to Tampa we both were not disappointed. We had the dumplings to start - amazing.... Then we had the Volcano roll, the "still I rise" roll, the "Adriana "Vegano" Sparkle roll, the "burg" roll, spicy tuna and finished it off with Tiramisu for dessert (which was UNBELIEVABLY delicious). This place is a MUST VISIT for any vegan - their creations will blow your mind. Thanks to Thalia the owner for making our visit truly memorable. I would give this restaurant ten stars if I could - but suffice it to say, I give this restaurant my highest vegan recommendation !!

This place is just too expensive. Being vegan shouldn’t be a license to charge more than regular sushi. Mangosteen is the pinnacle of sushi in St Pete and their prices should be the ceiling for what people charge. I won’t be back until the reconsider their prices.

Simply exceptional vegan sushi. Flavors were more interesting and complex than other vegan sushi I’ve eaten. The creativity in the menu is off the charts! Made a special trip from Tampa while on a weekend getaway to FL and it was BEYOND worth the drive! Wish there were locations in VA where I live. My friend and I love to support local Saint Pete, vegan restaurants so when I subscribed to an online app that gives you incentives to try new local restaurants, I definitely chose the vegan option! My vegan friend traveled an hr to join me for what was supposed to be a lovely dinner date. I had called earlier in the day and asked if I can make a reservation for 6pm. They said there’s no need for reservations and that we should just come in. After we arrived, I let them know that I belonged to the incentive program and they said “sorry on this one Monday of the month we do a special test kitchen event so we can’t honor the program”. This event is posted nowhere on their website. Since my friend had traveled a long way and were there to try vegan sushi, we agreed to the overpriced menu and had to pay upfront. The food was very mixed. About 2 out of the 8 things were good enough that I would order them again. We didn’t receive any ginger, wasabi or dish for soy sauce so after the fourth or fifth course, we asked the waitress If they could bring us some, unfortunately, after the fourth course, the menu took a nose dive and did not have any more sushi on it. Instead, we got a single random taco and some very mushy tasteless risotto, followed by a thimble of rice pudding which is the same exact texture of the risotto, but tasted of cinnamon and vanilla. A note on the wait staff: with each course, our waitress quietly put it on the table, so that we didn’t even know what we were eating and had to ask them what it was. With the price we were paying I was expecting a presentation on what each thing was so I could possibly order it again should it be good. When we left I did let the owner know that we did not enjoy the experience and asked if she could please honor the program as I did not want to return. She said no and that i would have to come in at a different time if I wanted the discount and that the wait staff were temps because it’s hard to keep people. I wonder why, especially when you expect people to pay and tip upfront before getting their food. Overall I was not impressed by the food and will not be returning. Someone mentioned vegan “jacking” in another review (taking advantage of plant based/vegan eaters by-overcharging for food because vegans are used to paying more) and I would say they are guilty for sure. Rice, edemame, nori and vegetables have pretty low overhead so why it was $84 for a bowl of rice, edemame, 10 pieces of sushi and two 4” tacos is beyond me. They probably put all of their money into the atmosphere and their Himalayan salt brick floor which is kind of gross and slowly rusting the windowsill Had they honored the program I would have taken it as a lesson and left. I do want our local vegan business to thrive and new ones to pop up but not at the expense of the clientele.

Everything was sooooo good! I went twice in one day 😅. I had the dumplings, wonton soup and the Raman. I have zero complaints!!! Everything was so flavorful and the portions were good. The staff was amazing and will go over and beyond to make sure you have a good experience. The vibe of the place was great from the music, art work, and the grass wall. Definitely bringing friends back here. I highly recommend this restaurant!

This is a great sushi place, to be sure, but it is no Dang Good Sushi. Compare the vegan volcanoes and you won't believe what one delivers for nearly half the price and twice the flavor. Nonetheless, hands down the best sushi for vegans in St. Pete proper. Amazing ambiance. Clever and interesting options, including drinks. Pros: Plethora of sushi options, Beautiful presentation of food, Great ambiance Cons: Prices are outrageous compared to competitors, For price, dining experience should be refined, More adult beverage options would be great

Finally tried House of Vegano and so glad I did. My husband and I dug right in before I could get any photos, but the sushi looks just like the photos on their website. I’m pescatarian and eat sushi regularly- this was very comparable and I didn’t miss the fish at all! We’re definitely coming back!!

As a meat eater, I can honestly say that the sushi here fooled me. It tasted and felt like I was eating fish. I don't know how they do it, but I'm HIGHLY impressed. Will definitely be returning 👍🏽

My husband and I enjoyed a great meal last night. Neither of us are vegans, but I’m pregnant and avoid gluten and dairy. I love that the rolls are made with fresh ingredients and really satisfied my craving for sushi! So creative! The tiramisu was wonderful as well! I’m already planning another dinner here!

We were turnt on to House of Vegano by Vegan Soul Foodie. And have been going every since. We love the Baked Alaskan, the Burg, & the Ramen. I personally love the mushroom in the Ramen. The service is top notch, as well as the food. The energy in the restaurant is absolutely beautiful.

House of Vegano is great! The rolls are delicious and creatively prepared. But man oh man….the wonton soup brought a tear to my eye. I had it five days ago and I still can’t stop thinking about it. The edamame was great, too!
