Love them! Chance did a cover up for me. I came with a bunch of pictures and ideas and word vomited it all at him for my sleeve AND he actually put my crazy vision on paper. This was just the first session and it’s already amazing. More picture to come after the next session. Thank you!! 💚

I've gotten tattooed by three of Howl's artists, including Andy Howl, the talented owner, and can honestly say that there is not an artist working there that I wouldn't happily pay to ink me. You just cannot get a bad tattoo at Howl. Not only a phenomenal tattoo studio, but a landmark art venue, as well, hosting traditional gallery art as well as performance and music.

Sparrow did a great job on a small traditional piece. Second time at this location, definitely one of the better shops in the city.

I had a fantastic time getting a tattoo today by Sparrow!! Such a kind and super-talented artist!! Such an easy process from the consultation to the actual tattoo. Sparrow took the time to see the designs I wanted and was very patient and accommodating when I wanted to add or change the sizing of the piece on my arm. He made sure I was comfortable during the entire process. I will definitely be going back to him for more tattoos in the future. Also, everyone in the shop was super friendly and kind! Great place!

Did a fair share of research and everyone was saying this was the best tattoo shop in Fort Meyers. Went in and had a rib piece done by Chance. Great experience the whole way through. He listened to my input and took his time with me to make sure the tattoo was exactly how I wanted it. Application was relatively painless, price was fair and I couldn’t be happier with the result. 10 out of 10 recommend.

Michael Ippolito tattooed this rabbit (FranK) for me, another artists a few years ago worked on the jupiter tattoo (the “4”) and it has healed well. i will be returning, and I look forward to seeing future live events. shirts are only $20!

Matt Lawrence is an amazing artist and great person. I came for my first tattoo and he was very patient, calming (I was a little nervous), and had some great insight on placement and style while still doing what I wanted. He is very good at what he does and from what I saw, so are all the other artists at HOWL. Definitely check them out if you need some new ink.

Place that passes itself off as a punk bar, but bans local musicians with leftist lyrics from performing, because of the politics of their songs.. but plays kanye when his wierd antisemitism was blowing up all over the news... so that's was kinda wierd. Like I wouldnt think twice if I heard it anywhere else, but a punk bar specifically should be up to a higher standard. Comes across as posery. Also kinda weird policing of minorities calling themself slurs that have been used against them Tattoos look good from the other reviews, I'm just talking about the bar part. The vibes are just off for a punk bar.

Sparrow did an amazing job on my tattoo, he was very nice, chill, and patient with me. The tattoo only took about 30 minutes, but the time flew by in no time and I love how it came out. Got a great price in it too! Will definitely be coming back.

Kris has done both of my forearms and completely delivered on both. Pain while getting tattooed is at a minimum and he goes above and beyond to make sure you're visit is as comfortable as possible. He's provided consistent experience and is just genuinely cool dude. Will be working with him for a wrestling themed sleeve.

Michael did an amazing job! Very laid back, and very personable. He takes his time in showing you the different sizes for your tattoo, and makes sure everything is exactly how you want it before he begins! The whole staff was very friendly as well.

The woman at the front desk was extremely unprofessional, unpleasant and simply rude,we walked in,waited in front of her for over 5 minutes without being acknowledged,another customer walked in the woman tells them she'll take care of them they said we were there before them she told them she was gonna take care of them first again without even looking at us. I've never experienced such rude behavior, needless to say we just walked out.

Kris did this awesome piece. It was my first and I’m going back to get a complimentary piece done on the other leg. First of all he took my initial idea and made it doable with some collaboration. It turned out better than my vision. He let me know the limitations and what would be best to get an awesome tattoo that would be good for years to come. Trust this artist with creative liberties to get the most beautiful and durable tattoo. Second of all, I cut, bruise and bleed easily. This photo is 24 hrs after the job. No swelling, bleeding or any adverse effects. So in addition to his artistry you can trust his technique. I can’t wait to show you the next part…it’s going to be so sweet!

I've been going to Howl for quite a while, get all my ink from Kris Tirtel. Love all he's done so far, and going back soon to get more.

Got a couple small line work tattoos on my fingers by Matt. I was nervous about healing so I followed process to a T. I'm a month in and already have to get them touched up by another artist in my home state. My experience wasn't necessarily poor, I just wish he would've outlined that expectation when I originally got tattood. Felt like I paid a lot just to have to get touched up immediately after healing.

Jazz was awesome made my wife feel comfortable and caring took time to explain the process 💯 recommended 👌

Sparrow was my artist. Nice guy but I hate my tattoo. It looks like a child drew it and doesn’t look anything like the photo I sent. Getting it covered immediately. Was a waste of an 1 1/2 drive and money. Also, I had to wait over an hour to have it drawn even though I sent it days before. I’ve been to many tattoo parlors and it’s always drawn before I come in.

Scheduled a small wrist piece with Sparrow. He’s an excellent artist - exceedingly calm and very professional. As a newcomer, I felt safe having my first tattoo in his hands :P The venue itself is great! The art on the walls is beautiful and each artist has a wonderfully decorated booth with optional privacy curtains. Service is also fantastic, and all staff were very very nice. Would recommend!!

I went here for ear lobe piercings and had an amazing experience with Jazz. My friend and I are Deaf and once she realized this she was amazing working with me. When I am nervous I get giggly and talk ALOT, and she was so patient with that. I would definitely come back and refer anyone to go there.
