I finally got around to eating that White pizza I don't know why it took me so long to eat it but I've been missing out on something very special. They have an excellent white pie. Update so I went back and I tried their upside down Sicilian, the drunken Sicilian and the grandma Sicilian and I absolutely recommend any one of these pizzas. I’m looking forward to trying their regular pie again maybe it was just that day they were off a little bit. I think they have something special if they just made their undercarriage thinner regular pies are way too thick

New to Florida & Fort Myers. If you’re from the north like I am. You will literally find this place to be a “Slice of Home”. It’ll be a challenge for me to find a better place for pizza.

Uncle Rico's best Pizza in Lee County

Hands down the best pizza shop in South West Florida!! When you want excellent pizza this is the place to eat at! It's not even just the pizza as the garlic rolls and phenomenal also! On top of amazingly delicious food, the service of this family is over the top. Excellent customer service is hard to come by now a days and the team here stands above the rest! You guys rock, keep up the amazing work!

It's probably the best pizza l had since moving here over 15 yrs ago. The grandma slice was great crispy but not brunt. I got the meat lovers pie and it was full of toppings. The place is small with limited seating but it seems more of a takeout joint. I drove about a half hour and will definitely return. It reminds me of the corner pizza place to grab a slice and a drink on the go.

It's a nice pie,but it isn't to my taste. It's tough to get into the parking lot, it's very small

I tried Uncle Rico’s today for the first time and wow it was amazing!!! I grew up in Buffalo New York and just haven’t been able to find good pizza here but this place here is honestly amazing. The pizza is thin crust and has a nice crispy bottom to hold the toppings. The pepperoni is small and curly up with the small puddle of grease which is the best. I recommend getting it angry with the honey hot drizzle. This will be are new regular go to stop for pizza. Looking forward to trying more of what they have.

Second time ordering from Uncle Ricos and I made sure to order ahead online because it is very claustrophobic in the restaurant. I ordered and paid and expected to just pick up my simple order (cheese pie and garlic knots) at the counter - instead I gave my name to the girl at the counter, she told me it would be right out and then I had to wait for 20 minutes standing at the counter as people would order and get their food and I was still waiting. Hopefully they get a bigger establishment that is more comfortable to wait in. Also don't bother ordering online, they prioritize counter orders.

I tried Uncle Rico's for the first time this weekend. Pizza is great. Just be clear on what you order. I ordered a pie with pepperoni and mushrooms. When I picked it up, it had cupped pepperoni (which I do not like) not regular pepperoni. I didn't see this till I got home. Once I picked them off, the pie was great.

Update 5th visit never disappointed. 8/17/23 The best pizza within 50 miles of downtown ft Myers. You can get a slice or a pie. It's delicious, tastes just like Jersey or Ny pizza. This Floridan family has nailed the recipe the crunch, cheese, and sauce. Neighborhood hides this big gem. If you like Jersey or Ny pizza come here. It's 90 theme.

Pizza was delicious and huge in size!! Location was brilliant and reminded me of a new york pizza parlor. The smell legitimately made my my mouth water. My fiance and I will definitely be returning soon!

I have been hearing a lot about Uncle Rico's so I decided to drive the 40 minutes north to check it out. I called ahead to place my order and not once, not twice, but three times I was hung up on, the fourth time the phone was just set down..I assume this, bc I could hear conversation, but no one was answering me. Fifth time was a charm, I ordered my 2 large pies and was told 40 minutes. I ordered at a little after 2pm. Got to the spot and quickly realized the area is rough, I wouldn't go at night . Indoors is maybe 2 or 3 very small tables and a counter. Gave my name, was prompted to tip 20% on cc machine, finished business and left. Pizza was good, not great, but good. Definitely did not blow my hair back like everyone is suggesting. Maybe I need to order something other than plain cheese and pepperoni?

I was under impression they do very extra large slices like in NYC but they don't taste ok service very fast staff very nice but am still looking for that one place serve extra large slice am from NYC pizza here fla can't compare. It's the water from NYC use for the pizza dough. Cost for lunch wow very reasonable under $10.00

Uncle Ricos has great NY/NJ pies. But my favorite and virtually impossible item to get anywhere is their Jamaican Beef Patty with cheese and pepperoni. (I know, strange for a pizza joint. Not if you're from Brooklyn, that was a staple). I live almost an hour away but always stop in whenever I'm in thier area. The staff are really great too.

Always busy and that is because it is simply the best pizza in Fort Myers and it's not even close. Do yourself a favor and try it, you will agree. I like the "angry uncle" pizza.

Best pizza in lee County. I moved from Connecticut and I can say that uncle ricos is the best around. Excellent crust, very good sauce and cheese. With the humidity and water being different here in Florida this place has mastered the recipe. If you're from the northeast and you pull up to this place, just looking at it, you know it's gonna be good.

We LOVE pizza, and tbh, NOTHING in Ft myers tops Rico’s. Not much seating so don’t expect big sweeping tables, but get their pies with the Mike’s hot honey and some garlic knots, and you won’t care where you eat it.

You guys shutdown Uber eats delivery before 7:30 and make INCREDIBLY FRIGGIN hard to get your pizza. Most Americans work till 6 or 7, DONT SHUT DOWN UBER EATS EARLY.

If I lived closer this place would be dangerous! LOL. Alas, I drove 40 minutes to try Uncle Rico's after reading about it on social media. I wasn't convinced it could live up to all the hype. It actually EXCEEDED my expectations, which was no easy task. It was so refreshing to see an actual family working at a true mom-and-pop business. They are hardworking and genuinely appreciative. We chose to eat there since it was our first time. When I called to see if they offered dine-in, the sweet girl answering the phone (I'm assuming the owners' daughter) let me know the wait could exceed an hour on a busy night. Heeding her advice, we arrived around 4pm and got the last table (by the time we left the place was packed and the take-out orders never stopped). The pizza was OUTSTANDING! The BEST I've had in my 20 years in Florida (in fact, the only decent pizza I've had since moving here. Seriously.). Now that I've tried my "standby" (cheese and pepperoni), there are many more combinations that I can't wait to try. We will be regulars.

The absolute best pizza in the entirety of Lee County Florida!! Their crust is hands down better than any other. The toppings are fresh and amazing. The service is always with a smile as this is a locals neighborhood pizza joint. Not much dining space but I only ever order carry out since we don’t live far. Even tho they are NY style, they have no issue cutting our pie into squares because that’s what my wife likes which means I like it too! We always build our own and do half hers and half mine so we both get the amazing toppings we like best. You’re gonna wait a little especially on busy nights, but it’s because it’s the best.

The pizza is some of the best in the Ft Myers area and the slices are big! My only gripe is it was a good 20 minute wait for 2 slices, but in the end worth the wait. The place is a little hole in the wall, but clean with lots of NY memorabilia on the walls and Seinfeld playing on the TV and Uncle Rico's picture hanging up for Napoleon Dynamite fans. Customer service was on point. Very fresh food and the pizza sauce was amazing. Fruity, bright and fresh. The basil was a great touch and definitely elevated my pizza experience. The cannoli filling was filled to order ( which is the way it's supposed to be) not too sweet it was perfection. New York style for sure!

My son and I discovered Uncle Rico's on our annual Ft. Myers trip. I think we googled and found out they were voted second best in all Florida? (Something like that). Anyway, amazing pizza! Came back a week later with my daughter and they were closed as they were attending a pizza convention in Las Vegas! So bummed but not deterred...we can back a few days later when they were reopened. Just as good if not better. Go there.

Unbelievable! The food was so good there and the service was so friendly, probably the best pizza I've had since as long as I can remember. I knew it was good when I went into the small restaurant and it was crowded. The service is fast so they cleared out quickly. Pricing is excellent and they give you the biggest slice of pizza I have ever seen in my life. You have to go!

The best pizza in Florida! Friendly owner and employees. We live in Punta Gorda and drove to Ft Myers after we heard how good the pizza was. We were not disappointed. Salads and 2 pizzas were ordered. This was during lunch time but our wait time was minimal. Superb!!!

The pizza was great! Sarah and her Mom were awesome in the front of the restaurant but it was really annoying listening to the man in the kitchen yelling at the staff. Hard to enjoy your meal listening to that. Our first time there. We will try it again.

It was definitely a great spot to enjoy some good pizza. Especially in FL to find a NY pizza place. They even have beef patties, and that's definitely a rare thing. I can say that this place has earned a customer when I come down to visit.

Legit the best pizza I’ve had in years. I’ve been looking for a great experience and I found it here. I ordered the Angry Uncle and the Benny Blanco. All I can say is wow! Took me like 8 minutes to eat 5 slices. The crust and flavors were perfect! Will definitely be back

This is REALLY great pizza. Highly recommend you order to take out. It is a small store front location. Have tried two of their pies= To Die For= yum They are appropriately busy, so dropping by means your wait for service may be long. Otherwise I'm ordering and picking up always time and time again

A "new to me" pizza shop near the Edison Mall. We went there today on a recommendation from a social media page. We had the garlic knots and split a square pizza. Both items were made fresh and both were fabulous!! Today may have been our first visit but I can promise you that we will be back. I really want to try the meatball hero!!!

I just wanted to update my review and say how much I love this pizza. It’s PERFECT and I want to commend the Uncle Rico’s crew for how hard they work under pressure and how they deal with a busy crowd. 10/10 always worth the wait.

Excellent pizza! As a NYer it has to be amazing if I think it’s excellent. The pizza was thin and crisp perfect tasting crust. You can tell the cheese was good it didn’t have a pool of oil. But, it had the perfect cheese pull! Definitely will go back!

This is the best pizza I've had in years! I love New York pizza, and this has by far been the closest tasting pizza I've had. The inside is small (3 tables, I believe), but well worth it! The staff are very polite and I can tell they care about their customers and food. Very well done in all elements. It's always the "holes in the wall" places that make the best food. I highly recommend eating here and eating the good when it's fresh. This is among the top 5 restaurants I will always go to, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. The owner was extremely nice and gave me a compliment on my beard too! They all were very nice to us.

Hands down best pizza in the area

First time last night ! You hear so many awesome reviews that maybe expectations can’t be met ! Pizza crust was good cooked right . Not a fan of the pepperoni but that is taste ! The problem that I had is the owner screaming at her daughter the whole time I was there (very unprofessional). I know she’s 80 school assignments behind and so does everyone else that are there! I know it is hard to run a family restaurant with all the hours it takes and try to raise a family but those kind of discussions need to happen at the back not at the register! Felt uneasy with my wife feeling bad for the daughter who had to be embarrassed !

One of the best pizza places in SWFL. Might prefer DHOP slightly more, but the service here is incomparable so they take the win. We travel a good a 25 minutes one way to grab a pie here so you know it’s gotta be good!

Have lived in the area for 8 years and have been searching for some great pizza. We finally found it at Uncle Rico's Pizza. For years, I enjoyed pizza at a small restaurant in Bay City, Michigan called Roma's Pizza. The best Pizza I have ever had (my opinion, of course). While in Florida I have looked to the point of giving up trying to find pizza that compared to Roma's. Uncle Rico's brought me to the end of my search. Great job Uncle Rico's! Thank you.

Food was good. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and meatball grinders. Music was a bit too loud for a room of that size. The woman at the register was really nice.

I will start by saying we buy from uncle Rico’s once a week. We have never had an issue. Today I called and ordered a meat pizza and 2 cans of coke. When we get the pizza back to our place of business we see it’s a cheese pizza. I send my guy back to get the correct pizza and they charge us $4 more for the meat pizza. Typically the person taking the order would repeat the order back to confirm what the CUSTOMER ordered. The woman taking the order did not. So not only did we wait a half hour to get the original order (pick up). We had to wait for them to make the CORRECT order and pay the $4. It’s not the amount of money that’s the issue or even the mistake.it is the attitude of the woman who answered the phone when I called back. Everyone makes mistakes. It’s how you handle that mistake that defines you. They should have been apologetic and corrected their mistake. Instead she could have cared less about the customer and more worried about the $4. Last time I will spend my money at Uncle Rico’s. Great food but horrible customer service and accountability.

Hands down the best pizza I’ve had in Fort Myers made perfectly not too crispy not too undercooked. Chicken Parmesan sub was good too. It’s a small hole in the wall place, so don’t expect nothing great but that adds to the charm of it usually those are the best places oh and they play 80s/90’s freestyle music too! owners are nice as well . I will definitely be back.

Tiny place, worth every bit. Pizza brought me home to NYC. Delicious, crunchy pizza. You can tell that they use real ingredients. Cheese, sauce and crust had so much flavor.

Hands down, the best pie in Lee county

I went there, April 3, 2024 with a friend and ordered a square pizza when the pizza came out the corners were burned and the bottom was burned. I mentioned it to the manager and she said all our pizzas come out burned If I wanted to have a pizza that was not burned. I should tell them. There was no come back and get a non-burned pizza or anything she just said that's the way it is. I will not go back ever again. Jets Pizza is better tasting, not burned and less expensive.
