Good (expensive) cheerfully made malted milkshake.

You must visit if you are in the area. My family lives there and swears by it. I must agree it is an excellent place. Great location off highway, large variety of options, adequate parking, friendly atmosphere for kids, and fair prices.

Had ice cream here while in area. Lots of flavors and exotic treats. Outside seating in grassy area under large shade trees.

Walk up to window ordering with seating outside. Great for kids to run around. Our large milkshakes were delicious. It can get pretty busy in the evening.

Fast service, lines move very quickly. They accept credit cards. They have my favorite flavors including butter crunch, which most places don’t have around here. the ice cream is delicious. Portions are exactly as expected (a single is 1 scoop, a double is 2 scoops). Nice topping selection. Lots of picnic tables in the grass. Highly recommend the dugout.

Great options, clever names, plenty of space for kids to be kids while having yummy ice cream. Good sizing and very tasty! The pricing on the menu does not match what was showing up on the screen and charge to me. When I asked the cashier, she asked another employee who came over and explained it doesn’t include the 8% sales tax. I should’ve gotten my paper receipt, but I at least took a quick picture of the price being charged to me. I wasn’t going to make a big deal on a nice Saturday afternoon, but you should know you are being overcharged on each and every item. I went home and use my calculator and I was charged five cents in addition to the 8% sales tax for each item. I’ve included the pictures of the menu as well as what showed up on the screen for at least two of my items. It adds up. Prices can be raised, but transparency is vital. Don’t cheat customers and expect them not to do math. Editing to say I cannot add pictures or at least I can’t figure out how. The menu said a medium cycle is $5.98. I was charged $6.50. The menu said the peanut butter field was $6.90 and I was charged $7.50.

Always a treat, I love the dug out, I try to go at least once a year. Got the strawberry ice cream with Strawberry sauce and toasted coconut shavings, with a sugar cone on top. 😋 Prices are pretty standard, I got 2 scoops with 2 toppings and a cone for $7.25. Absolutely worth it!! They gave a parking lot so that is not bad, trying to pull out can be difficult depending on time of day.

Fair pricing with the serving portions. Friendly faces behind the counter. 2022 - First timer! Loads of flavor options. Friendly faces behind the counter. Plenty of room for parking. Plenty of space to sit down outdoors. Amazing prices too! We will definitely be back again.
