🍳 🥞 ☕ I had an omelette, pancakes, and coffee!!! Best breakfast food in Lakeland!!!

Firstly we're overnight regulars! The girls on 3rd shift I'll only use their initials for their privacy (S;M;M;T) are PHENOMENAL waitresses! They're incredibly attentive; personable; they're ALWAYS buzzing around doing something it's great! I can't forget the overnight line cooks either. Mr. Porter makes THE best quesadillas! We've visited other shifts && while the girls were lovely unfortunately we've had NO WHERE near the positive interactions like we have had on overnights.

This is my favorite IHOP, and believe when I said that not all IHOP are created equal. This has the best food preparation and the amazing waiters; caring and always willing to please your demands.

Food , service good, but a little pricey if your not careful

Went with my baby and boyfriend and refused service. They wouldn't seat us because we requested a high chair. Our son is too small for a booster seat, so I was willing to wait for space to come available and was told they would not seat us with a high chair at all. I walked out at that point because I didn't want to cause a scene, but refusing to provide service at a family restaurant because of a child needs a high chair is the most ridiculous excuse we have ever been given. I'm used to being refused service because we are an interracial couple, but to use our child as an excuse was an all time low.

WORSE EXPERIENCE FROM IHOP EVER!! NORTH IS WAY BETTER! Came in at about 1115pm, Sat down immediately, had to get up at 1150pm to get a waitress to help both my table and another table due to nobody helping us. The store wasn't busy. They were too busy talking and joking around. Table was a mess before we sat down. Food was ok but service was TERRIBLE! Cook was complaining about asking for the burger sauce on side..... unprofessional!!

Our server was very nice but don’t get the eggs Benedict. The eggs come hard boiled. I asked the server if they were supposed to be like that and she said she didn’t know but offered to have them recooked. I declined and just didn’t eat them. They didn’t take them off the bill, but I didn’t ask them to, so that would fall back on me I suppose. Any other time I’ve gone the food has been just fine 🙂

Ehhh it’s an IHOP, could be so much better but it always feels like nobody there gets paid enough to care. It’s like a bunch of angry/sad employees serving you freshly cooked food. Which is kind of scary given that they determine if it’s good or not. Minimal effort coming from people who depend on tips to make enough to live. Food is decent and the menu is nice, their eating areas are usually disgusting and covered in left overs from the family who ate before you.

This place looks like it needs a deep clean. The food was not the best. They took a while to sit us. The waiters kept saying if we were helped, but no one would sit us and the place was not full maybe 6 tables were being used.

The food was good but the service was a bit slow. No matter though I wasn't in a hurry.

The temperature of the restaurant felt like 40 degrees. The good food and friendly service made up for the cold temperature.

****** they charged me for food I didn’t eat or take with me ***** We always expect the worst when we go out at 1:45am, but walking in and seeing a bunch of teenagers sitting around talking and loads of options for what to do, is the first off putting thing. The server came over with another girl. They both acted like it was the hardest order they’ve ever taken. Then the food came out totally wrong. No one came back to check. We call on the only person we could find, a girl cleaning the tables. It was clear she was irritated. I specifically asked for well done hash browns and our server came back with barely cooked hash browns. I was treated so awful, totally snubbed, I just said I didn’t ask for this. I asked for a meal and you all are treating me like I’m the one that messed up. They ripped the food off my table so quick, didn’t even ask me if I wanted it Togo and they charged me for it. Customer service is supposed to be bad but you should still get your food. I just don’t even know what to think.

Great food and service . Good selection. On the pricey side, especially the beverages.

came there on Sunday to have breakfast came into the door. There was another couple of about four people standing in front of us to wait and a couple of two people that came in behind us and we sat there for a good 15 or 20 minutes and nobody even acknowledged us about three or four waitresses walked by never said anything to us waitress went up to the cash register cash two different people out two separate times never acknowledged us never said be right with you nothing, sat there for another five minutes. Nobody ever sat us so we ended up leaving.

Food is always amazing here. Our server wasn't as attentive, I asked for extra napkins, and I got them after we were done eating. Also, the place could use a deep cleaning, tables are sticky condiment Cady on the table needs to be cleaned more often.

Had a horrible experience Saturday night I went to IHOP on South Florida Avenue in Lakeland Florida I ordered the same thing that I always get which comes to 1299, when I placed my entree with the girl at the front counter when you walk in she tells me 17 and some change I said to her whoa whoa whoa you've got something wrong it's never come to 17 it's never higher than 1299 I don't know what you did or how you rang it up but you did something wrong she wanted to argue with me her name is Jen j e n I told her look I'm not here to argue I will just take my business elsewhere thank you very much and that I did and I left the restaurant and I went somewhere else and got my meal if I continue to get attitude from staff like this I will discontinue using IHOP altogether and I will make a formal complaint to corporate about this the only person that I can trust that does everything correctly without attitude and has a awesome customer service with everybody at this location her name is Sam she only works morning she is outstanding I wish the rest of the crew could be like Sam. So I do not appreciate this girl trying to overcharge me by that much I think she needs to be retrained or she needs a ride up or she needs to be fired get a different job or something that's pathetic.

Excellent service from everyone in general

Service and food good. Once we walked in, there was a server at the entrance. Said nothing. We stood there for about 6 min..nothing. finally a server from the back and sat us. Also kitchen could use some deep cleaning. Food came out quick and hot. Server (not the one at the entrance) was very attentive and friendly. 0

Arrived at 1am. We sat at a table. No sodas are available. It was broken. 2 other groups of people came in. Their drink orders and food orders were taken. We sat another 10 minutes and left as no servers came to our table.

The waitress was nice and friendly and the food and drinks came out quick and it was delicious!

Over price food that tastes alright.

A worker got out and mopped the entire area with strong bleach water and the restaurant was half full. The smell was absolutely awful and you get see people looking at her as if "What the heck?" It ruined our dining experience.

Very good breakfast! Expensive but good. The cinnamon bun crepes, bacon and cheese omlette and blueberry pancakes were hot and fresh.

The food is great. The service was great but my only complaint is that the place is too small and too tight when it comes to seating and moving around. Rather than that it was pretty good

We were there at a less busy time, and our server was awesome. She took the time to really listen to what we wanted, and everything came out perfect.

This was a sunday, but it was tiny and packed. They needed more servers but I don't know how you fit them in. The location just isn't big enough for the kind of business they're doing. Food was as expected.

For a breakfast joint their bacon is absolutely pathetic. I wish I could post my picture of it. I think oit came from a Walmart microwave package

I ordered the double blueberry pancakes which were really good. The restaurant was extremely crowded so next time I'll go when it's not so busy.

Everything was pretty quick. Until it came time to get checks , take out boxes, and a Togo cup for my coffee. The staff was great.

Not very clean...you walk thru part of the kitchen to get a seat. I've never been to an IHOP that didn't have a rutti tutti fresh and fruity on the menu.

This IHOP location deserves a shoutout! Their service was fantastic – friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect. But the real star of the show was the Pancake of the Month – the Girl Scout Thin Mint pancakes. Wow! These green beauties were incredible. The pancakes themselves were fluffy and delicious, and the toppings were the perfect match. The creamy cheesecake mousse added a delightful tang, and the real Thin Mint cookie pieces on top were the ultimate touch. They were so flavorful, I didn't even need syrup! This is a must-try for any Thin Mint lover, or anyone looking for a fun and delicious breakfast experience.

I liked this restaurant best of all the IHOP restaurants I've been in. Will make this one my favorite and return in the future.

The food was good, I thought the portions would be a bit bigger. the server only checked on us once after the food arrived which was unfortunate because someone in our party wanted toast but never had the chance to order it after the food was originally delivered. The coffee was $$$$$

Management sucks. Called for a job after applying and the manager couldnt have been anymore rude. Definitely dont want to work here now.

The steak tips and eggs are great

Honestly haven’t had a meal that bad in a long time. The service was excellent but food was terrible my bacon was so undercooked I was scared to eat it for fear of foodborne illness The only thing that was good that I ate was the hashbrowns, my husband got an omelette and almost threw up while eating it because of hard chunks inside of it that were un chewable. What a waste of $40. Would not Recommend.

I always order online and get a bunch of pancakes, but i rarely receive any butter. Why do i recieve a bunch of ketchup instead of butter?

Worst experience ever. server was extremely incompetent came back once to verify how I wanted my eggs and then sent a different server back to ask me about my order. Rush me into ordering stated after I asked about how I was to use my points in the app that it would come off after I was checking out. Only to find out that she didn't get my order right so I couldn't use my points at all . And the dam coffee was 4 dollars. Unreal and then they expect a 7 dollar tip what is this world coming to. So pretty much 20 bucks for little more than a McGriddle.

Food is good but it sounds like you're in a freaking wind turbine inside the restaurant. I don't know what's wrong in this location but we get takeout only after we went in the first time.

I order a chicken biscuit gravy sandwich no pickles added with hash browns. Chicken was salty biscuit was extremely soft they added pickles and hash browns tasted like pickle juice. Disguising

Yvonne was VERY rude ,nasty face never checked on me at all I had to ask her for things..the WHITE people next to me got great service but not once did she check on me! If YOU DONT LIKE HISPANICS don’t work in food service! every one was helpful but my own waitress!!

Fast, hot, great service, love the pot of coffee left on the table for refills!! Could use a bit more space inside the restaurant as you are packed in like sardines, not uncomfortably, just could be less crowded!!

There were only four other tables seated when I was seated. It took ten minutes before a server came to take my order. My order was cold and not cooked properly after waiting 30 minutes after I ordered. The server said she will get an entire order all hot. Ten minutes later she dropped off toast. Just the toast. 🙄 no butter. No other food that it was supposed to go with. I walked out. The waitress yelled at me as I left. “ I’ll have a great day”. That passive aggressive attitude gets you no where but a bad review.

This IHOP store was a disappointment. The floors were in need of a cleaning, wait staff was slow in taking orders and bringing food. Never checked back after bringing food to see if anything else was needed or if all was satisfactory. Restaurant is too crowded. Not worth what was charged. Will not return.

great other than it sounded like an airport overhead due to an exhaust system issue I assume. couldn't hold a conversation without yelling over the overhead noise.

About 11 or 12 years ago this was my favorite place to eat just about any hour of the day. I find now that, attention, time attitude food quality service have just gone to the wayside at every location. What I looked forward to most lacks the most now. Not just here but in a lot of restaurants. My favorites are going down hill. My family too were in the restaurants business our children grew up with the values we used to expect. And 3 still make a huge impact. Our philosophy was leave the attitude at the door. People are complex ,you don't know the reason. Their behavior is not in your control ,but your reaction is your responsibility kindness has no price

We went on Christmas day,because we came from out of state. It was very busy, but the were on top of their game. Everything was excellent!

We stopped In Christmas Eve and I’m telling you everything was 💯. Our food came out so fast and it was delicious so flavorful and it hit the spot. The blueberry lemon ricotta pancakes were top notch, cheese burger and poblano omelette. Definitely going to be a regular.. 🙏🎄💚 The servers were courteous and made sure we had everything we needed. A well worth ur meal..

I suspect the owner to be at fault for my complaints, i.e., not enough people working. I know we were told when we walked in the door that they were busy & there'd be a wait. The wait was not to be seated. Service was great. Could see some back of the house running around that normally wouldn't go through front of the house; that had to be further stressing them out. Don't think anyone stopped for a breath while we were there. If they say they're busy, believe them, not the appearance of the rooms: on a time limit? Go elsewhere.

My husband and I went here last week and my experience wasn’t so great. This used to be my favorite place but lately the service has been terrible. I ordered the chicken and pancakes and the chicken was fried so hard I couldn’t eat it or cut it. I asked the waitress to send it back and get me another one and she stated that it has to be this way in order to make sure that it is fully cooked…bull. As she was telling the cook about it she rolled her eyes and looked at me. I have been here multiple times and I have never had chicken tenders fried hard. So I was offered bacon in place of the chicken tenders. I’m beyond disappointed and I will no longer eat here.. I don’t need to spend my money on an establishment that allows their employees to lie to customers and refuse to remake food that was over cooked. I’m deleting my app and moving on. UPDATE: Thank you Jim for your support. I have since been to the restaurant 5 times and everything has been great and restored my faith in my favorite restaurant.

Terrible customer service makes you wait a long time to receive the delivery products, no matter what time you go, for the girls the people who arrive are more important than serving the one who is already in the restaurant.

We came with two of our three granddaughters. Milly was very attentive. Fisherman's Platter included fish with thin crispy batter, not the thick soggy batter that is served in some other places.

We walked into breakfast. The servers were really nice. My server was nice she checked on us make sure i was doing good. I ordered the fish grits and vanilla strawberry French toast. It was big and fluffy and delicious.

Meal did not come out together. We were given our check and asked how everything was, which at that time we have not received our main part of our meals yet. Food tastes good. But would have been better to eat the food together, as no part of our meal was an appetizer, should have received it all at once instead of 10 minutes apart.
