The dining experience I had at Kindred Spirits was absolutely amazing. All around was fantastic- the food was amazing, the service was friendly, the atmosphere is so cozy & wonderful. I could not wait to leave a review of this place. I had the Asian Sea Bass & my husband for the Bistro Steak & both were incredible but I have to say that was the best fish I’ve ever had! If I could give more stars I would.

We stayed in a cottage for our anniversary and ate at Kindred Spirits for dinner and breakfast. Everything was perfect! The Bistro Steak was SO delicious, as was The Cure for breakfast. They have an amazingly friendly staff and the cottage was so comfortable.

My husband and I didn't stay here but we visited the gift shop and made a dinner reservation at the restaurant, Kindred Spirits, and I can't express enough how much we enjoyed ourselves. It was our 10 year anniversary and our waitress, Shawn, went all out for us. The service was wonderful, the atmosphere is beautiful, and the food is absolutely incredible. I got the scallops, my husband got the lemon and herb chicken, we had the clams for an appetizer, and the mixed berry cobbler for dessert. Every bite was delicious. The chef is talented! I also got a glass of wine and it was very tasty. The menu options are great. The prices are a little high but it's so worth it for the experience! It was absolutely perfect for our anniversary dinner and we will for sure be back! Thank you to Shawn and the staff for making our special night even more special♥️

We stayed in the Firefly Yurt and it was beautiful. The bed was comfy, the shower was fantastic and there was plenty of room for the two of us. The location was perfect to see all 7 parts of Hocking Hills State Park and Logan Lake as well. We highly recommend it if you’re anywhere near here!

Had a great time! The couples massage was awesome. The Yurt we had was clean and very fun. Then dinner and breakfast at Kindred Spirits was perfect. The chefs are so good!! Amazing food and service overall! We did a quick getaway for our 20th and it was such a fun time.

This is an AMAZING place! As my wife says, a true hidden gem smack dab in the middle of Ohio! The Hocking Hills state park is a great getaway from the busy life and schedule. We stayed at the geo-dome which was super cool, cozy & fun! But the best part of the stay was truly the food and service! TOP NOTCH!

We stayed for two nights and then went to another hotel and we absolutely wish we never left the inn and spa. We stayed in the treehouse cabin and had an amazing time. There was a few hiccups we could not early check in (our fault we were traveling 13 hours and did not request early check in) and we lost power for about 15 minutes one evening but even with that we want to stay here again for our next vacation. The room was very clean (kitchen, bathroom, bedroom) having the option of cooking and having everything you needed provided was amazing and super comfortable. The tub and shower were amazing and felt like a spa in itself. The actual cabin was great and felt very safe on top of that very private. We went to the spa on cite and got a 90 min couples massage and I would recommend this all day to anyone they were professional, clean, and detailed. We had breakfast at kindred spirits and waited an hour for our food (due to large party in front) and we had zero problems waiting everyone was kind and communicated everything and gave us a meal worth waiting for chef and waitress were amazing! I can not recommend here enough. Cell Service is terrible but the wifi we had zero issues with. Its close to nothing but they have everything you need.

I just wrote a review for the dreadful Glenlaurel, and realized that this Inn is due a great review. My husband and I went here on our first mini-trip and stayed in one of the smaller cabins, which included a balcony and a 2-person soaking tub. It was amazing. All the necessary amenities, sparkling clean, private, and beautiful. The restaurant is exceptionally good. It's also well-lit for romance, intimate, and with always attentive and kind service. The first time we stayed was my now-husband's birthday, and I had made reservations for a tasting menu at what I believed was a more elegant restaurant at Glenlaurel. Well, they lost the reservation, and when we got back, this team made the night special, even after our unfortunate situation. The next time we came to Hocking Hills, we did stay at the other place, just to try it. It was such a mistake!! We love this Inn, and it is one of the most romantic places we have stayed. We live further away now, but it's high on our list for the future. Great cabins, exceptional food, excellent service, and a very laid back and welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Kindred spirits. They are our heros. We walked old mans cave and got lost. We tried finding our way back to Old mans cave parking lot from the road. No luck. We stopped there to ask where we were and they helped us get to our car. Thanks so very much. Great people.

My fiancé and I ate at Kindred Spirits for dinner and i think they secretly had a Michelin star chef in the kitchen, it was some of the best food we’ve ever had!! We got the feta dip and caesar salad as appetizers and they were both out of this world, especially the feta dip. My fiancé got the seabass and potatoes as an entree and I got their pesto pasta, both TO DIE FOR!!!! To top it all off we got the lava cake for dessert and it was divine. The only downside was that the food took forever to come out and we were there for a total of 2.5 hours and most of that time consisted of us waiting for the food, it was definitely worth the wait tho and our sever Kathy was very lovely. I’d make a stop if you’re in the area!

We only had lunch here, Best lunch by far. I would recommend the restaurant to anyone.

We ate at the restaurant, Kindred Spirits. Total sticker shock! I ordered one of the specials, the scallops. My meal consisted of 4 scallops, some asparagus, and a side of rice. It cost $50! My husband’s steak was $48. While the food was delicious, it was not enough to justify the cost. So sad, as we ate here a few years ago and it was delicious and reasonably priced.

We dined here for the first time when visiting Hocking Hills. Highly recommend. Food is awesome and love the atmosphere.

Everything was great. People were nice, food was great, and the cottage was nice and clean. They accommodate celiac needs more than most in the restaurant.

This lovely location was perfect for a long weekend getaway. It was great to sit on the back porch and just take in nature.

Some cabins have small circular stairs to get to master. Older people should be aware to request first floor master. We had to sleep on the pull down bed on the first floor. But otherwise it’s very pleasant and the restaurant is excellent. Coffee pot is drip. And always one bathroom. Y

Kindred Spirits is the excellent restaurant at the Inn and we have enjoyed it many times over the years. It's a must if you are visiting the Hocking Hills.

Cedar falls inn was beautiful the service was excellent we stayed in one of the geodomes it was different definitely could have used a hot tub on the deck but still very peaceful and quiet

Wife and I spent our 7 year anniversary here at the tree house cabin. Our cabin was nestled in the woods on a hillside and had an amazing view. The trails we hiked were pretty crowded however the falls and atmosphere were beautiful. We had dinner and breakfast at kindred spirits and the food was sensational. My wife and I were treated very well and the staff at all locations were very kind. We will be returning for a longer stay in the future.

The grounds of this place are the only nice thing about this place. The food was terrible from overcooked and under seasoned burgers to undercooked and grey looking chicken tenders. Highly recommend skipping this one if you're hungry. I can't speak for the rooms.

I specifically ate at the restaurant at Inn and Spa at Cedar Falls. I did not stay there. The service at the restaurant was good. The seating at the tables (couches and cushioned chairs) was nontraditional, but comfortable. The layout of the restaurant was unique--it was in a meandering cabin-like building, so if you were by a window, you had a great view, but the inside offered interesting sites as well. I ate off the lunch menu and I thought the food was something I could have made at home. I had a simple chicken salad sandwich and my husband had a turkey sandwich. Both were served on a simple toasted white bread. Neither were particularly special, but they hit the spot.

We have been staying at the Inn for more years than I can remember. If it weren’t a five star location we would not be staying there. The restaurant has always been top notch. At breakfast they used to have a help yourself yogurt and fruit station which we just loved. Our thought is that the Covid farce did that in. We have stayed in almost all the different types of lodging, from the old 2 story motel type rooms to the yurts, cabins, to the geodesic domes. Our favorite being the yurts. We hike the trails, in all different directions. The easiest being the trail to Rose Lake. Which is an easy walk. Some winter hikes, in the snow have been the most interesting. The many different water falls with icicles are so beautiful. We would recommend the Inn to everyone, except then it would be so crowded, we would never get a room, yurt, cabin or lodge.

We didn’t stay at the inn, this review is specifically for kindred spirits there on site restaurant. Kindred spirits is a must if you were looking for a nice dining experience in the Hocking Hills area. Fantastic atmosphere high-quality food, and a super cool rustic bar with cocktails you would only expect to find in bigger cities. We are in Hocking Hills several times a year and always go here.

Everything about staying here was great! This was our 2nd time. And we will be back in the future!

Clean and a great meal at kindred spirits

Stayed in a cottage and it was very clean, well decorated and the perfect size and amenities for a couple. Love that we could walk to the restaurant from our cottage. All dinner courses at Kindred Spirits were excellent, especially the flatbread and bistro steak was cooked perfectly. Our server (Missy) was so friendly and did a great job. The chef (Josh) was even delivering dishes and checking on all guests to make sure their food was good. We had the breakfast sandwich’s in the morning and they also tasted amazing! Candice and team did a great job on breakfast.

We did not stay here, but went for dinner at Kindred Spirits. Top notch! Excellent service, food, & atmosphere! Scallops were amazing!

I had stayed at the yurt. Everyone was very friendly. The restaurant was fantastic, the yurt was clean and well stocked as well as comfortable. The gift shop was awesomely eclectic and boho and the price was perfect. Above and beyond what I even expected! Super

Dinner was fabulous, a very charming and unique experience. I always enjoy the historical aspect of places like this, and was not disappointed! We did not stay at the inn, but might do that sometime I.

The moment we walked in we were greeted with such kindness from Candace, she was very helpful and just awesome to talk to. Thank you for making us feel so welcome! The cottage was very clean and so cozy. All staff on the property were incredibly nice and just made the stay so much better. The food was great as well. Its unusual to find a place where everything is so perfectly seasoned. Make sure to book a massage. The therapists were also very nice and welcoming and made everything so comfortable about the experience. We loved everything about this place and can't wait to come back.

The food in the restaurant is fantastic

We came down to Hocking Hills from 1/27/24-1/28/24 for a last minute getaway. We did not stay at The Inn @ Cedar Falls but had an absolutely memorable experience dealing with one of your staff at the restaurant on Sunday. I didn't catch her name but she is a cook at Kindred Spirits in the morning time. We hiked a trail starting from The Lodge at Hocking Hills about 3 miles from your place over to Cedar Falls. None of my group was expecting the long hike. It was cold and raining and we were soaked by the time we were done. We didn't want to walk the trail back so we decided to hike the road back to our car in the cold rain. Once we got to The Inn, we heard a voice yell "If you come to the entrance I will give you a ride back to your car". Not only did she give myself a ride back to our car to come back and get my fiance and kids, but she offered us all complimentary hot chocolate and to come in and warm up even though it appeared they were closed!!! I didn't catch your name but I will forever be grateful to you! And even though I told you a million times over, I want everyone to know you were quite possibly a life saver for us today!!! We will be sure to come have breakfast at your beautiful place and book a stay!!

Has become such a poor location. The charcuterie and wine we ordered for the room turned out to be embarrassing cheese cubes from Kroger and cheap wine. Photos of bad conditions from their customers buried under dozens of stock photos. My wife booked the room so they can't find the booking we are posting about which is fine. Lost their certification. The place is dirty, poor quality, neglected, falling apart. The staff is surly and doesn't want to be there. The restaurant is very overrated and the chef is worse than clueless, he thinks a fine dining restaurant cuts your steak for you and then comes out to the dinning room to argue with you when you send it back. Don't waste your money.

Wonderful place even though there were some ups and downs we had a great stay.

Such a cute place! The service and people are amazing! The views are awesome! And the geodome I stayed in was super cute. Everything was clean and well-maintained! The spa was okay and I enjoyed it, but if I were to give any critique, it would be for the pricing of the services. Not that they were bad, but they were quite expensive for the ambiance and quality. The restaurant on the property was really good and the staff took great care of us! Side note: We went to a couple of wineries and our favorite was LE Petit which was only about 15 minutes away.

Kindred Spirits was one of the most unexpected surprises we've ever experienced. The scallops were the best we've ever had. The ribeye was cooked to perfection and the gnocchi was very good. 5 stars all the way around, including the hand-crafted drinks from the bar and the dessert. We will definitely be back!

I loved everything about my experience here. Stayed in a Yurt for 2 nights. It was lovely. The food at the restaurant was great, even the included breakfast was delicious. Service was prompt and efficient. Everything was clean. I liked walking the grounds and the proximity to Old Man’s Cave. Not a great place for children, but that was perfect for me and my partner. Would totally go back. Thank you!

My husband and I only enjoyed Kindred Spirits, the on site restaurant, for our anniversary. Amazing food, wonderful prepared and flavorful. Highly suggest the salmon and steak choices. The whipped goat cheese starter and berry cobbler were delicious as well. Attentive staff. Nice drink selection as well.

The restaurant here is stellar! We went for lunch and were not disappointed. The tomato bisque was literally mouth-watering and the flavors of the chicken pesto sandwich were perfectly balanced. I was very surprised by the amazing food in this little hidden gem. Plus there is a souvenir shop with lots of cute things!

Stopped in for a delicious chicken sandwich. Served immediately and seated in a comfortable area with sofas and a fireplace by a friendly waitress. Definitely going back when we're in the area.

We had a great time, we needed it to get away and relax and it was just that, we had a great time during breakfast and dinner, everything was delicious, The room was clean and organized, Very glad we went and enjoyed our time there!

I did not stay in the rooms, but went to the on site resturant. If you are stating in the hocking hills and are looking for an upscale yet casual place for dinner this is a good one. Make a reservation in advance just to be safe.

Food was fine, nothing special. $60 for 2 burgers with sides, and drinks and a kids chicken tender meal... The biggest disappointment was the water had a yucky taste. A spa should have good tasting water or at least bottled water available. They were also pretty slow. Tried this place as lots of people recommended it. I wouldn't go there again.

Landscaping, Curb Appeal & Gardening Stunning.

Goldenrod cabin was delightfully intimate for 2 adults with our dog. The lack of any housekeeping services was startling, but it was easy enough to pickup anything we needed from the front desk. Driving to town takes about 10-15 minutes through lots of hills. The woods around the inn are great and the grounds are beautifully landscaped.

We had lunch at the inn .I had the soup and sandwich.the chicken cheese and rice soup was absolutely scrumptious .I would recommend it to everyone young or old

We stopped to eat at Kindred Spirits, and we were so glad we did! The service was so kind and friendly. I have a dairy and gluten allergy, and they were so kind and accommodating! They cooked everything in extra virgin olive oil for me. Everything was fresh and very well cooked. We hope to come back and stay at the spa next time!

We made a reservation for their dinner service a few weeks ago! We were seated quickly! Kathy was our server & was amazing. Drinks were great as well- Island Breeze & Lemonade Spritzer. We both got steaks and they were cooked to perfection! Highly recommend asparagus as your side and molten lava cake as the dessert! Will be back!

Very cute restaurant, lodge feel, comfy seating, rustic design. Love it. I enjoyed the chicken salad sandwich and my husband enjoyed the burger. The soup was awesome. Staff super nice. Highly recommend this place. We drove by this restaurant on our way to Hocking Hills State Park. So on our way back from the park, we decided to stop by for lunch. Glad we did.

Spectacular place to stay in Hocking Hills area. The Geodomes are gorgeous and extremely clean. I would highly recommend staying here. Breakfast and dinner are also wonderful. The entire experience is a treat.

Stayed at the yurt, it was wonderful. Best for longer term couples though as the bathroom isn’t soundproof by any means as it is just walls within the yurt without a ceiling.

We are on our way this weekend to stay at one of our favorite places we come here at least 8 times a year you arrive as a guest and leave as a friend

Stayed in the tree house cabin. Absolutely beautiful and perfect for a couples get away. Greeted upon entrance with champagne and a wonder meat and cheese plate. Close distance to breweries and hiking and restaurants you get a little bit of everything. Service and food at the Inn between breakfast and dinner was absolutely phenomenal, cannot even put the food into words. Couples massage was absolutely amazing as well. Therapist were so welcoming and made it so comfortable. We cannot wait to book our next trip back here!

I stayed a night this past spring with my husband and another couple. Beautiful location. It ends there. The managment were husband and wife, I assume. Husband was friendly enough, but the service recieved from the bar/restaurant and the lady manager was less than desirable. I have never felt more unwelcome and uncomfortable. You can hear EVERYTHING. Now, it is probably way different if you stay at the "Inn," or in a cabin. We made the unfortunate mistake of taking what was left, a two story room inside of the club house that is connected to the golf course. Never again.

Sidney was amazing at the front desk. We had to stay an extra day and she made it happen even though it wasn’t originally possible. Thanks Sidney!

We made dinner reservations for a special occasion and received terrific service and a great table in the gorgeous main dining room. We did not stay at the Inn but everything we saw, from the bar area and dining room to the front garden were truly charming. Our meals were good, not spectacular (too heavy on the butter) but tasty enough and the ingredients were fresh. I would visit again.

Stayed in one of the cottages. The room was very clean and the bathroom was really nice as well. There was nothing not to be liked about it.

My wife and I stopped for a late lunch and were just minutes past the cut-off for in-house dining, but they offered for our meals to-go and could take our food to the many outdoor options they offered (patio, rooftop garden, etc). Property was maintaned very well and had so much charm. Hands down the best burger I've had in a looong time.

Walked in to eat at the restaurant. The first person we met took a couple ahead of us to seat and said she would be back to seat us in a moment. Someone else came out while she was seating the couple in front of us and told us that they were fully booked and we had to leave. There were only 4 other cars in the parking lot when we pulled in. They don't want the customers apparently, find somewhere else that actually wants to serve you instead.

The small shop at the entrance is amazing. My family got lost in a hike and wandered into the shop and Missy drove one of our party to camp for car. You dont find many like her

We came to eat here during their lunch and had high hopes due to the high rating the restaurant had the service was ok the food was terriable and the choices limited. Our waitress stopped by the table 2 times before we got our check bc she was gossiping with the only other table in the restaurant and the coke tasted extremely watered down flat I guess you could say overall besides the presentation of the food and the look of the restaurant it was a bad experience and I won’t be stopping in again.

Took my wife for a little getaway celebrating her 40th. Had such an amazing time relaxing & enjoying the beautiful outdoors.

Spent 3 days. Stayed in a GEOdome. Nicely furnished.. The bed was soooo comfortable. They do offer cabins, and there is a lodge. Be prepared no TV or phones provided in the GEOdome. They do offer wifi. Excellent food and service in The Kindred Spirit, their restaurant. The spa was the best. I tried several different services. I would highly recommend it.

Made a last minute dinner reservation during crowded Memorial Day weekend and was seated right away. The server was incredibly kind and knowledgeable. I had the French Onion Fondue and it was comforting and delicious!!! Also had the green goddess salad with salmon and wow!! Salmon was cooked perfectly and the house made dressing was to die for. The chef very kindly wrote down the recipe of the green goddess salad dressing for me!!! It was one of the best dinning experiences I’ve had in years. The grounds/landscaping at this place is absolutely stunning to boot!

We only stopped for lunch, but we were very pleased with the atmosphere and service, and the food was delicious. But to tell the truth, it was a savior since we got lost hiking trails a Hocking Hills State Park. 😆

We recently made a reservation for a birthday dinner with a group of four, and it turned out to be an absolutely fantastic meal right from the start. The food was incredibly delicious, and the service was top-notch. The location itself is so beautiful, adding to the overall charm of the experience. We highly recommend this place for a wonderful dining experience.

We didn't stay here but we went to the restaurant and it was amazing. The food was so good. I got the ribeye steak and it was perfect. Pricey but worth it.

We have stayed at the trillium cabin several times for our anniversary. This last time we noticed how much the cabin had gone down hill. The back door was broken and wouldn't shut, the floors squeak so loud it's annoying and wakes everyone up during nightly bathroom runs, and the bed sheets had dog hair from the previous tenants. Not to mention our reservations for our anniversary dinner was all messed up. And the bedspread is the same one from years ago, and looked dirty. It has lost its charm for us, we informed the front desk when we left and never heard back, so they have lost a customer, thanks for the bad memories.

I scheduled the spa sampler to pamper myself for my birthday. 10/10 recommend this amazing treatment!! David did an absolutely wonderful massage. I wish I didn’t live so far away because I’d be scheduling a massage monthly (that’s how much I enjoyed my time at the Spa) I walked to Kindred Spirits afterwards for the BLT sandwich and chips, which didn’t disappoint. Thank you for a superb first visit!!
