First things first, The Irishmen IS a pub. Do not come here looking for a perfectly cooked filet mignon or table cleanliness that can rival an OR. That said, they are one of our favorites. We've been coming here for over a decade. The wait staff, bartenders, and even the busboy are always awesome, the food is consistently good, and it makes for a great trivia spot on Wednesdays. I hope they stay open forever.

We use to go here when we lived nearby. After Moving to north carolina, we missed this spot. On a recent trip with some friends to visit, we had to make a stop. As always the food was great, The service and atmosphere we're on point, as always

This place is just outstanding in every way! Sitting at the bar, we started with the corned beef sliders, which were so good, they didn't survive for a photo... (we were hungry). I had the famous Haddock fish and chips and wasn't disappointed... wife had the larger corned beef hot sandwich. Heck, even the diet coke was well blended. After we ate, we had some whiskey from their ample selection. The ambience is just right, with the lighting neither too bright nor too dark... and of course our bartender, Carl, was the perfect host. By the way, all of the TV's were set to sports channels, which is always a plus!

We love the Irishmen, it was our go to place after covid because of the large outdoor area, however they keep creeping the prices up. 18.95 for a Ruben sandwich now is unreasonable.

Came in with a group of 10. Bartender Garret gave us quite possibly the worst service I have ever experienced. Zero hospitality.

Katie is the BEST bartender. So polite , eager to take your order and quick with the service . Couldn’t recommend enough !!!

I went for the first time, for the England v Serbia game. The staff were very welcoming, and often checked up on my table to make sure I was ok. The service was good, will be coming back for another game!

This review is because of how I was treated by the manager about my to go order. I called because I was concerned with the entree portion size of the shepherds pie . We eventually made a compromise (but I chose to just write a review, and not worry about returning, or getting the "gift card refund"), yet I'm left feeling very unhappy about how he acted . I used to manage , and it is just not worth it to argue with a customer. The portion of shepherds pie is very small , and that is a fact . Also the website menu does not say that sweet potato fries are an additional charge ( yet he chose to argue again) . It just states that the sandwiches & burgers come with your Choice of side . We were ordering pickup , so we did not have their physical menu. I don't see the point in arguing, especially when I was correct , and looking at the website at that moment! Just will never order from here again. .

Service is consistently exceptional. I go every week. Better quality and selection of food for a pub than any others I know in the area. I get anything corned beef-related there and am satisfied.

Lazy. Disappointing because food is good. I’ve called for take out 4 of the past 8 nights. They either don’t answer or hang up on you if you say you want takeout. No wonder they were removed from DoorDash. Message to Irishmen: Either stop serving takeout or have the courtesy of telling people you aren’t serving takeout because you’re busy. That’s about $200 worth of sales lost in the past week, on top of all the other people calling in and experiencing the same thing. I imagine it’s just one server who to blame. So if ownership happens to read this (doesn’t appear they read reviews) and you aren’t on board with this, fire whatever server is working the phones. Period.

Our new review: We've been to Irishmen maybe a dozen times. It's become one of our go-to spots in Boca. We bring our service animal Miller, who enjoys the rice and grilled chicken, which the restaurant prepares for him. Today may be our last trip here because apparently there's a new policy that service animals without dog bowls will not be served water. Fail. Our old review: Your neighborhood Irish pub. Always a good time.

I am somewhat of a regular at The Irishman. I have always been polite. Today 5/3/2024, I went in early and Katy was the bartender. It was busy, so I patiently waited. When she finally came around, she was stone faced, no Hello. I ordered peach martini that I said Regan normally makes. Katy's reply - Regan works on the weekends. Then I asked for the counter to be wiped down which was dirty with crumbs and sticky wet spots. Katy promptly set down a used rag and cleaner for me to wipe the bar down. I received looks from other patrons who were appalled at this by Katy. I could serve myself better at home! She never asked if I wanted to order food! You could do a lot better Katy. I didn't come in for a bad attitude or poor service. What the he ll did I do????

We found this place by accident. What a find, this is a great place and the service was great too. We'll definitely be back.

Great food, great atmosphere, great service. A party of 16 isn't easy to handle, especially with kids and adults who like to drink. Job well done. The food was hot and fresh, we will definitely be back.

One of the waitresses who speaks in Spanish insisted that we give her a tip if the place didn't serve us very well and had good vibes except for this woman

Scam, bait and switch, 3 times I was denied the beer special. Three separate occasions. On the menu and sign on the wall names the beer. It says $3.00 all day everyday. In America maybe we speak a different language than the Irish. But that means only one thing. 2 times I tried ordering the beer special with dinners for my wife and I the waitress or bartender was rude and made excuses why that beer was not available those days. But with a friend the day before St. Patrick's day the bartender poured the beer on sale. I put the cash plus tip on the bar. He sneaks and puts a bill on the bar and does not take my money and tip, and says nothing. But I was reading between the lines due to previous behavior. I saw the price and said it was for way more money. I questioned him. He says oh today is a special day that the offer is not good today. My friend and I walked out never to return and will tell friends and neighbors what a horrible place this is.

Stopped by for burger Monday special and was pleasantly surprised! Cant wait to come back and try more of their menu! Great food and open late nights

Can't comment much went around 6pm the Saturday before St.Paddy's nowhere to sit except in front of the live band which way way too loud for such a small venue so we left, based on the crowd it must be a good place

Always a great time there St. Paddy’s Day was a lot of fun. Great music as always. Good was amazing as well. Sunday brunches here are the best.

Gabby the bartender is as sweet as apple pie and the Shepards pie here is delicious!

4 of us got there in the middle of a dart league and poker night.it was completely understaffed for the amount of people that were there. The atmosphere was great but we waited for ever to get our drinks order taken and when we did the order that came was completely wrong. Eventually we had our food order taken and none of the four of us were satisfied with the quality of the food and again several mistakes were made with our preferences for the side dishes. We are not the type to leave negative reviews, in fact we never have but were compelled to do so because of the experience we had. Maybe it was just a bad night and we will try it again as based on the other positive reviews that may have been the case.

Old school Irish bar. Nothing fancy but reliable. Good drinks, decent food. Open til 2am.

This spot has ego issues with staff I said I was taking an Uber and spoken to like a child about how much I can drink when the men next to me had 10 beers i had 5 wines and was coherent and had friendly conversations I don’t spend money to be treated that way no thank you

Had our yearly Christmas party here and as always it was amazing! BTW on Wed they serve the best shepherds pie!!!! Highly recommend!

Kristen is the best bartender ever bar none, and the wrap was top three (and not 2nd or 3rd) I’ve ever had. Coming from Michigan on vacation I can’t suggest this place enough.

I just recently started coming to the Irishmen but it’s one of my new favorite spots for weekend Irish breakfast and Gamedays! All the bartenders are amazing. Especially Reagan and Gabie! Two rockstars with amazing personalities. Food is awesome. Drinks are reasonable, and a mix of young and old patrons.

Great Irish Pub in the middle of Boca Raton. They have deals everyday and live music in Fridays. They hold a big party for St. Patricks Day with a special menu and live music. Great menu items to try are Fish and Chips, Potato Soup, and their Sheppard's Pie.

Had the cowboy burger 🍔 and it was out of the park! Great place to chill after work or watch a game.

Nice place. Friendly staff. Good bar to watch sports or chill out. They had a brilliant bluegrass band playing on the Friday

You will notice how this place does NOT smell like a bar. Tables are clean, not sticky, food is creative and delicious, service is excellent and friendly.

Been 3 times now, and can comfortably say they have the best wings I have ever had. This is after going to the same place down in Broward for nearly 30 years. Absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked. Someone has always answered right away when I call for a pick up order, and I'm always greeted with a smile when I arrive and promptly receive my order. Doesn't get any better!

Best fish and chips always top notch also French onion soup is great if you have room the bread pudding is awesome

I'm not sure how I feel about this place. Monday night in June, and the there was only 2 male servers. We sat ourselves, but waited a bit for beverages. We ordered and I stepped out of my comfort zone and ordered something more popular on their menu (I usually order bangers and mash) but I got the Cuban Irish sandwich. It was so dry and it didn't come with any sauerkraut. I had to ask for some and they defended their meal. Bit odd. My husband ordered the bangers and mash and it was delicious. My kids for Mac and cheese, it was dry but they ate it. I will say the Guinness on tap was the best we've ever had. It was incredibly smoothly. So take this review or leave it, like I said not sure how I feel about it but maybe your experience will be better than ours. Hopefully though they have more severs in the future.

We were there for the first time for a Sunday brunch when they were short staffed. We were watching a game and everything ran smoothly (but a bit slow). Not very familer with Boca but I would recommend this place for a pint, a bite, and a game after my first visit.

Have a great time at the Irishmen. Our waiter was hustling all night and took good care of our table. Food was good and had some good variety than a typical bar. Good overall beer menu. Could use some more craft variety but overall had a great experience.

Went here on a Friday evening. The waitress was kind. The live music was not great and way too loud.

Excellent service, menu not too big but plenty to choose from. Mac & Cheese starter was outstanding. Nachos were also excellent. Opted for the pulled pork sliders for entreè and again they were fantastic. Really good atmosphere, good number of screens with various sports on so plenty to keep an eye on if you want to keep tabs on the live sport while having a bite and a drink. Obviously a popular place for the locals, but if you're travelling through and want a quick meal and drink, i'd highly recommend. Service was double quick too which is always a plus after a full day of travelling.

Good place to visit. Went with my Brother who frequents there with his buddy's. Went there today with our niece and we tried the sliders which were excellent! 😉 We shared the Irish nachos that I recommend they cook the fries WELL done and use fresh potatoes and make chips which would be much more like a traditional Nacho, in terms of texture and flat shape to hold the cheese and other nacho ingredients. Way too soggy. The Homemade potato chips would also make excellent Potatoes O' Gratin as an Appetizer topped with White Cheddar, Chives topped with optional pulled corned beef. 😉

Late thanksgiving night, never been here, and the one woman show (Liz?) is incredible- attentive but not bugging, taking care of all kinds of customers, quick and efficient. Can’t ask for more in a bar. 10/10 would recommend.

Had two pints of Guinness. Great service, didn't eat, but it was pretty crowded so must be pretty good. Will go again when I want a pint.

This authentic Irish bar/restaurant in Boca is excellent. The grub is good. The only BUT is they do not allow the exceptional Guinness settle before serving!

Probably the only bar I've been to where I've had a bad time. Staff are hostile and passive aggressive. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Came here for a Dolphins watch party on a Thursday night game. It was my first time there and I was extremely impressed. The place was packed and only had one server but she was amazing and really fast ! The service was excellent, the food was amazing and the drink specials were second to none. Will definitely make this my Dolphins away games spot.

We went in after attending football game. The service was great, our food came out pretty quick. The portions were huge, food taste absolutely great and my family is very very picky. The place is very clean, everyone is friendly, We will be going back again. My family enjoyed the food and darts 😁
