I found this place in Google, I was looking for some goat or oxtail. When I got there, I thought it was going to be like a buffet where you can see the food and choose, but not, they have a menu and you have to tell them what you want and they bring it from the back (I was kind of concern). The place smells weird, they should put some aromatic thing idk. Regarding the food it taste normal, it was not the best. And worst part is that after an hour me and my partner started to have an awful stomachache. This morning is the same. I’m not buying in this place never again🤮

Every tim I come to pcb I have to stop here for the oxtail and jerk chicken. Honestly it’s the cabbage and rice I love so much. Doubt there’s anything bad on the menu!

4.8 lured me in but the food let me go . Cabbage was well prepared and tasted lovely but the salmon was charred ( ordered with no rice ) and plantains were dry . Service was efficient and informative, ready in 15 minutes, atmosphere was bright and airy, loved the authentic market but the food wasn’t it for me. I would say I’ll come back to try jerk chicken because maybe jerk salmon is my bad .

J shanelle has to be the best food spot in Panama City. Every visit I take down here this is the only place I look forward to eating at. Not to mention, one plate is more than worth it as I find myself full for the rest of the day. A filling good meal is quite hard to come by in PCB so J shanelle definitely fulfills my wants and needs.

It was good a girl from NYC gives it her stamp of approval. Customer service top notch!! A must try when you are in Panama City

I don’t ever leave reviews but this is the best Jamaican Restaurant I’ve been too in my whole life. I took a trip recently to Montego Bay Jamaica and I can assure you this food is the real deal. Very authentic. Even the cabbage is delicious 😩❤️!! 100/10 highly recommended. Don’t go anywhere else but here. The meat literally falls off the bone! My family and I will frequent here every time we come to Panama City.

Here in Panama from North Carolina and we're always looking for good authentic Jamaican food especially ox tails!!! Jerk chicken was leveled perfectly...first you taste the smoked,then grilled..then BOOM burst of jerk🤤Just AWESOMENESS!!! Ox tails were fall off the bone GOODT!!! Nothing other than Phenomenal, mouth watering food is what we got from J.Shannelle☺️Felt like me and my boyfriend was standing there talking with one of our uncles at the counter. (After 40yrs of smoking cigarettes he's nicotine free) keep it up young man. LOL! Also purchased Scoth Bonnet and real curry powder to take home for my very own cuisine 🤗 Please do me a favor since I don't live here and DO NOT SLEEP ON J.SHANNELLE!!! I Drove a hour in a half wanting some good Jamaican food. My original spot Peppa’s was closed so we decided to try this place. The food was very basic lacking flavor and variety, with crunchy rice, plain oxtails in gravy, and basic cabbage. The limited menu offered only four sides, excluding popular choices like mac and cheese. While the food was served hot, it did not meet expectations for quality Caribbean cuisine. This place is not recommended for those traveling long distances in search of authentic Caribbean flavors.

Omg! Don't sit on this place, y'all! The food is de-li-cious! The cows feet are scrumptious! Yes! I said cows feet. I cringed when I first saw it on the menu.😝 But I was bold and curious enough to try it. And man! It was bussin! 😋Don't judge the name. If you like pigs feet, or pigs anything, or ox tails, you're gonna love these! The cabbage, rice and beans and fried chicken is mouth watering! The shrimp curry will make you slap your mama. If you like Jamaican food, stop by and try em. You won't be disappointed. #JShannelle #yummytomytummy

This place is awesome. To start, the food is Fantastic and the most authentic Jamaican Food that I've tasted to date. The plantains was fresh because the gentleman got it from the market and they were perfectly cooked. The place was immaculate, very clean. Had the oxtails and curry shrimp. The shrimp was perfectly cooked and the oxtails was tender and very tasty. Try them and you won't regret it. I also noticed that they do 15% Military Discount and that was nice because I'm retired Military.

This meal didn't get a chance to make it to my house back over the bridge ! It smelled so good, and tasted even better. I couldn't wait to enjoy it alone and in peace.

BEST curry chicken was so delicious, hot, and fresh. The spices were perfectly balanced, creating a burst of flavor with every bite. The chicken was tender and juicy, cooked to perfection. The aroma of the curry filled the air, making my mouth water in anticipation. I couldn't get enough of this amazing dish.

My favorite curry shrimp and ox tails! I enjoy the variety of caribbean spices and products in their market, the Shirley biscuits and ginger soda too.

I absolutely love this place. The restaurant is clean and the chef and her husband are truly wonderful. I always order the jerk salmon and it is always delicious and perfectly cooked. It is real authentic Jamaican food which is hard to come by around here. They are awesome.

Great family market and restaurant with very friendly and helpful staff. The man at the counter was very nice and helped me pick out the right kind of tea. I got the oxtail, curry and jerk chicken. They were all extremely delicious. Highly recommend

Terrific food, great people who own the place! It was our first real Jamaican food experience with our kids and the owners were so kind and helpful. The food was terrific, even my picky toddlers liked it. And the ice cream was such a great treat. Would go here again and again.

PCB...listen up. This place is a must. We ordered the jerk salmon and chicken plates. It was heaven. The cabbage...the plantains...rice....everything was so flavorful. This is the spot to stop at on the way to the beach.

Everyone at Steele Boys Bailbonds had a feast with the oxtail and curry. Really, really delicious. Headed back next week.

We ordered the jerk chicken and the curry chicken, both very delicious and authentic Jamaican. Nice and spicy, just the way I like it. The staff was friendly and gave good advice on which spices and hot sauces to buy. The restaurant was extremely clean, which matters when dining out. We will definitely be back.

Love, Love, Love my food! I ordered the fish and oxtails plates, purchased some bun, cheese and bonnet pepper sauce. This food is authentic. Tastes really good. I will be back! The owner was very pleasant and helpful throughout my shopping experience.

Ordered curry chicken for myself and my student I mentor for lunch. First off the owner was a joy to speak to with while I waited only 5 minutes max for my takeout. I'm not a coniesour of Jamaican food but if I were anyone reading this review go today and get yours. Thanks for a well priced and delicious lunch.

This my go to restaurant for order oxtails or cow foot beans, I am from Indonesia but their food similar taste with the way Indonesian cooked. Always good and meet my expectations. Thank you for cook the good food.

Once in a blue moon I make a review. Some place must really snag me in before I get all googly eyed about it. But this place deserves it. Just finished eating our take out and had to jump on right away and sing the praise of this lovely food. Simple cooking with an incredible mixture of complex flavors. Ox tails, jerk chicken, cabbage, rice and peas and fried plantains was bought and consumed with great gusto! No leftovers to be had....so I would give 10 stars if I could! Food was very fresh and hot even though we arrived 15 minutes before closing. A must if you want something beside another plate of frozen fried shrimp.

So I’m just in town to stop by the beach for a bit, and as I was driving I seen the Jamaican flag up and of course that caught my attention! I’m Jamaican from NYC and I live in Tallahassee .. it’s so hard to find good authentic Jamaican food! I did a quick U turn and sat in the lot for a bit! They seemed to be closed, as it was only 10:45am.. the owner, a very nice lady I’m going to assume it was Mrs. Shannelle, just so happened to be pulling in and assisted me with what was available anyways! the food came out in like 5 minutes .. and let me say this!!!!! I took ONE bite and I’m sooooo impressed by the flavor and texture of my oxtails! The rice is amazingggggg as well! I almost ran back inside for a second order but I will be stopping here in about 2 hours or less on my way back for more to take home with me!! I’ve been stuck in the car for the last 15 minutes tryna do this review and eat! Im truly impressed. I usually don’t do reviews but I love to travel and love good food! This place deserves some love! I've lived down here for several years and one of my close friends brought us here today for lunch. The kindness and friendliness of the two running this place is out of this world, and the food, it's phenomenal. I highly recommend checking them out!

I am absolutely obsessed with the food!!! My wife told me it was good but until I tried for myself I didn't understand how good it really is! The meat just falls off the bone busting with flavor. The beans an rice is some of the best I ever had. $12 for the best meal you can buy! Highly recommend this clean and very authentic spot.
