The food was tasty and I enjoyed the breakfast sausages and sausage gravy. I could tell they're not your normal store-bought stuff and it really did taste well. My wife had a burger and she said it was just fine and the french fries were nothing special just crinkle-cut fries. She said they were crispy and tasty but she asked for ranch and it was pretty much just craft ranch squirted in a cup. She did point out that they didn't have butter they only had whipped spread and little plastic containers on the table. And that really kind of you know puts us off on taste. The decor of the place is really not good. The colors very dark the walls were painted with a flat paint so all the splatters could be seen on the walls and you can't exactly wipe those down on that type of paint finish. We could see into the kitchen and it just wasn't appealing to see.

The food is great, and portion sizes are decent. The food came out fast and fresh. The service and staff were nice and attentive. They have affordable prices, and they have seating available for groups. They also have outdoor seating and mimosas. It's such a cute place!

We were traveling through the area and found this place on google maps and so happy we stopped. Lovely atmosphere, good food, good prices and good portions. 100% recommended. Staff was very friendly and fast for the amount of people we had.

Some of the best home fries I've ever had! French toast was also very good and made proper. Good prices too! Will dine again.

This place is in Eustis, and has the most Friendly staff and the Best food. They also sell homemade Preserves & handmade jewelry. Only open for Breakfast & Lunch.

Better to stick with Dennys for breakfast & lunch. At least there you pretty much know what to expect. Place had changed too much from years ago.

Always good breakfast at a good price! Great service always. The waitresses are always very nice with my toddler. Been coming here since I was pregnant and was obsessed with the hungry man.

Would be nice is sides like mayo, sour cream and/or salsa were "full" sides (meaning the little cup was filled and not with water). Server needs to state up charges if an extra is requested. Seems portions of the above sides has gotten smaller as in half full or watered down as of late. Just say that its so as one does not need to find out at checkout and feel nickel and dimed!! Things have changed but NOT for the better.

Y'all!!! Jeannie's Place is "THE PLACE" for breakfast if you are in Eustis or surrounding area. Don't be fooled by the "hole in the wall" appearance. The food was amazing, best Hungryman Breakfast I've ever had!

First time here, and so happy we decided to try it. Food and drinks were delicious. Everything cooked perfectly. My kids finished all their food which doesn't happen often. Waitress was very kind and let us know when we were ready we could pay at the register. We were in and out within a timely manner. Would definitely recommend 💯

This place is aweful! Food took forever . Food was cold, gravy taste like glue. Grits were mushy and watery. Waitress acted like we were bothering her. Eat anywhere but here!

Great homestyle cooking. Pattymelt is delicious, as are omelets. Service is prompt and efficient.

Such a homey, everyone knows everyone place. I stumbled on to it just looking to kill some time and was so pleasantly surprised. Must be this town's best kept local secret. Wish I lived close enough to return often!

Unfortunately, I need to update my review. The place has sadly gone downhill in the years since we were here. The breakfast tasted like old oil. I mean the ENTIRE breakfast, including things that shouldn't have been cooked in oil. Nothing was seasoned, either. I left with a queasy feeling in my stomach. I won't be back this time.

Hometown restaurant. Stopped by to get lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Waitress was friendly and efficient. Mondays meal special was meatloaf, beef gravy, green beans and corn bread. Great meal and very reasonable. This is not a fancy place as far as decor but you won't leave disappointed. This was Monday's special.

Wanted to try something different than the usual places around town. I like going to different places and my wife suggested we go here. The menu is quite varied and offers something for everyone. She had the corned beef hash combo and I had french toast combo. Both were cooked perfectly. The staff is very friendly and didn't feel rushed. It has that neighborhood dinner feel and will definitely be going back. If you want to try something and have that home cooked meal this is the place to go. You will definitely like this place.

They just lost a tone of business because we use to come after church to eat now they change hour from 2:00pm to 1:00 pm we will never come back and they said that the summer hour and we were just here 2 weeks ago

We went here for breakfast Saturday. The food was very good, a little pricier than what we expected. BUT, here's the downfall. The service was the worst I have ever experienced. Our server, didn't tell us her name, she got our drinks, took our order and we never saw her again until I went to pay the bill. I had to ask another server if they brought us the check and she told me it was around the corner. She never once checked to see if our food was OK or the we even got what we ordered. If you want good service, I recommend you DON'T go here. Not to sure we will be back.

For my grandmothers funeral, (The Repass) Jeannie's catered the food and it may have been my first time trying it, but I hope to try it again.

The food was extremely amazing. Big portions of everything. Fairly good biscuits and gravy. Really good pork meat. French fries had a hair in it. Not the end of the world but it happens. The server was a little rude to us. I don't know if she just assumed I wouldn't tip or because I was with a female. My female seem to think the server was rude because of her but I don't think girls are that cat like are they? Either way, I didn't have my water refilled and they didn't have a one sauce either. That's always a bummer when I'm getting a giant pork steak.

Garbage omelette was fantastic! We got there 15 minutes before closing and they were kind enough to take care of us anyway.

If you're looking for a good little old-fashioned, Florida Hometown, breakfast, lunch place. You have found it here period.. nothing special but good service and good food.. come and enjoy . And that is special!

Never again ! Eggs super undercooked , grits like soup and the biscuits and gravy were some of the worst Iv had from any restaurant. Hardy’s has them beat by a long shot if that says anything . Food was also super bland and barley warm . Not worth the money. Oh I almost forgot my pancake was like a comforter , Iv had steaks more tinder . I wouldn’t recommend!

Neighborhood gem. I think I finally found my new favorite place for breakfast. I found it interesting the servers knew almost everyone that came in. It’s a plus to go to places the local police frequent too.

We've lived in Eustis for a little over a year, and I'm sorry I JUST found this place. Very friendly staff. Immediate seating. Food was quick. My wife and I both ordered omelettes and they were lighter on the egg and PACKED with ingredients. Our daughter got the pancake breakfast and was given 2 giant pancakes with 2 giant pieces of sausage as well. Something that really stood out to us is that they're closed the next few days as the owners have invited the entire staff out to the beach for a retreat on their own dime. In a day where giant corporations reward your hard work with something like a stupid pizza party of old, stinky $7 pizzas, this company truly recognizes the staff's efforts and rewards them for it. There is no doubt my family and I will be back many times in the future.

Great breakfast place. Only order ONE pancake as they're HUGE! Servers are very nice and you get your food lucky split. Reasonable prices. Plenty of parking.

Great atmosphere and great service

Excellent service. Located in an old shopping center facing the side street so not easily seen from the highway. It takes up 3 small storefronts meaning there is plenty of seating. A breakfast and lunch restaurant.

I really wanted to like this place. Got acknowledged when we walked in the door but no one was in a hurry to seat us. After being seated it took awhile for the staff to come and wait on us. Food did come out fast and hot but apparently you have to go to the counter to get your ticket. We had 4 different people wait on ours so we really didn’t know who was waiting on us. Not very personal unless your known there.

We enjoyed sandwiches, omelets and hot dog. The macaroni salad and mac and cheese were delicious! Great prices and hospitality. See you again.

Hamburger was seasoned and cooked to perfection....Service was 5 star...

Had a garbage can omelet, wife and son had a half pound hamburger called the garbage can Burger. Everyone liked the food. The kids enjoyed talking to the ladies that waited on us and brought out the food.

French toast was great. My husband had the garbage omelet. He absolutely loved it. The place was very clean. The staff was great, except they never brought the final bill over, so we went up and paid. There was dinner plate sized pancakes on the menu. Lol. You get two pancakes with it . Prices reasonable.

I was in downtown Eustis having some work done on my car and needed somewhere to grab breakfast while I waited. While there are plenty of restaurants for lunch and dinner, and Eustis didn’t seem to be any diners, but right before I gave up I found Jeannies place and I am very glad that I did. The staff is very funny. I had the corn beef hash omelette with hash browns that were nice and crispy. The next time I need breakfast in Eustis this is definitely where I will be coming.

Best All-around experience I've had in a while. Greeted as we walked in, all the staff was friendly and smiling. The food was hot, fresh, and flavorful. Can't wait to go back and try something else know the menu.

First time diners. I got grilled chicken wrap with Macaroni salad. Husband got cobb salad. Chicken wrap good, Mac salad dry and tasteless. Husband's salad was ok.

I’m so glad a friendly, inviting little diner like Jeanie's exists in my community…I’ve dined in with family, ordered takeout for my workplace, and we’ve received the warmest service and quick, delicious entrees every time! They definitely do not skimp on portions, either! Breakfast or lunch, this is a great choice!

The fish on Fish Friday is to die for! I am a New Englander so I've eaten my fair share of seafood in my 73 years. I have never eaten a breaded fish filet that was as lightly and delicately fried as Jeannie's! No oily residue which, by the way, goes for the fries, too. The Cole slaw was creamy and not outlandishly sweet. The price was very reasonable and the wait staff extra nice. My only "complaint" is that they're not open for dinner. Thanks, Jeannie, for a great meal and experience.

Good food & shady practices. Lovely biscuits. But every time we eat here there is a different price & random surcharges.1st few times it would be a random $1 or 2. But the final strike was having a random $5 smacked on our bill. On top of that you don’t get an itemized bill before paying so you go in blind. Not to mention they don’t provide receipts.. the older Spanish woman with curly hair never comes back for refills etc. Sadly we won’t be returning

3rd time here, hopefully last time, the first time I came the omelet was plain and tasteless, next time I come the plated sized pancakes we're good, so I come again to have some just to see that they have almost no taste, butter nor syrup helped, and the waiters openly act like they don't want to be here, would not recommend.
