We had 4 meals, 3 buttermilk tenders with Mac and cheese and fries and the turkey breast. We loved it. The cheese biscuits are small but delicious. Spent about $57 and all 5 are full 👌🏻

Great place to bring home dinner! Husband loved the turkey! Great fries - and BEWARE!! The sandwiches have PICKLES ON THEM! Love bbq- DESPISE pickles. My husband ended up w/2 good sandwiches! I don’t remember the sign saying there were pickles on the sammiches- will know next time to ask for no pickles🤣🤣. So reasonable too!

Best BBQ around. Smoked meats are delish without the BBQ sauce but the sauce is exceptional as well and I always get a little extra. Love this place. Been going here for 15+ years. The brisket and smoked turkey are my go to favorites. The pig in the garden is a perfect less heavy meal. Cheesy biscuits so good the butter with it is slightly sweet. Highly recommend.

Food is not that bad but it’s not that great. Would be better but the prices are absolutely ridiculous!!! Just paid 44$ for 3 meats and 3 sides with 6 tiny biscuits barely enough for one person. The owners are smoking something other than the meat will not recommend to anyone or come back!!! #greedy

This is the best place ever all things BBQ, Burger, desserts, and more. .I was there today and the line moves quickly and the lady at the window was so nice. The French fries thick sliced and hot . Generous extra-large drink. Sandwich fry and drink combo only $10.41 tax and everything out the door! I recommend this place and know no one will be disappointed.

It was my fav restrauant when we lived in Montgomery. I love the drive thru here. The staff are always kind and professional. Food is always hot and tasty. Our orders are correct most of the time, or they replace it and add some extra biscuits for the trouble.

Brisket with collard greens and mac'n cheese, excellent! Piggie potato with pulled pork and cheese biscuits, great too. Banana pudding for dessert, yum!

Atmosphere is drive thru. Enjoyed the food. Window server was great.

Drive in only but I ordered ahead by phone and drove directly up to the call ahead area. Excellent BBQ. The superb sauce really helps to keep it moist.

There is no atmosphere, there is no dine in, it's just great, cooked to order, fresh Delicious food. I can't rate the atmosphere when I'm sitting in the line in my car salivating on my food lol

waited 25 minutes in the drive thru with one car ahead of me. I paid $16 for the tiniest pulled pork sandwich, that had pickles? Ordered a side salad that came in an entire meal container. Seems like they thought i ordered an entree salad with a side of pulled pork sandwich.

Update edit: last two visits order has been wrong. Can’t even get customer service correct now. Quality has always been slowly declining since Jim 'N Nick's bought out Hamburger Dave's, but it's taken a nose dive the past year. Food is acceptable but nothing special; cuts of meat are cheaper, menu shrinks, fries went from hand cut to something out of a bag, sauce is watered down, items are smaller, and their prices go up. Sadly, their continued existence relies solely on no other BBQ competitors in the area. They charge a premium but fail to deliver quality now.

Man this place is ALWAYS ON POINT, so I never check the bag. Got the wrong food around 830 and got home put food in microwave to keep warm and walked my dog and changed cloths. Wrong food in bag. Call the store no one picks up. I get it’s close to pick up time but I’ll call in morning and get my name on a list for a replacement order. I don’t want a refund your food is so amazing and authentic and a staple to Niceville. Also I get it it’s jus fast food but this place is DASHIZ!!!!!! And a must try for all u bbq fans!

The employees were kind and very patient in explaining the menu options over the phone and in person. The food is always consistent and amazing here. This location is only for drive-thru pickup.

This Jim n Nicks in Niceville is excellent. I have gotten food from here probably 30 times in the last 5 years. I have eaten at a couple of their Atlanta area restaurants which have always been pretty good. This “to go” location in Niceville has better food than the other dine in locations I have dined in. The only issue I have ever had was yesterday, 5/28/2023, was a very minor one my quart of watermelon was unpleasant, you could tell they device they used to cut the watermelon was just used to cut an onion, we were laughed about it and called it a wonion!

Mediocre at best. Not worth the lines or the wait.

Update Jan 23: still just amazing food, but FYI in case you have not tried them: their cheddar biscuits are to DIE FOR!!! We eat BBQ frequently but will now go by and pick up some biscuits to have with meals we cook at home. No place to eat on-site other than a small outdoor spot but for pick up and then take home or go to one of the local parks on the water, a solid menu and delicious taste awaits you

Was expecting table service... disappointing for that price point

Honestly its a little pricey but worth it. I got brisket and fries, my wife got the loaded baked potato and man was it huge. The servings were pretty big, the customer service was really awesome, can't wait to come back again.

This place is always great. I come here often for a piggie potato and I am never disappointed. My mom always requests some of the cheddar biscuits! There is a very nice lady who works at the window who is incredibly kind and provides the best drive thru service you can get. I have eaten at several Jim N Nicks but this is the best there is!

We stopped here while passing through to try it out as another Jim n Nick's location is currently under construction near our house. We got the Beef Brisket BBQ plate and Pig in the Garden Salad. As someone who is into the BBQ scene myself, it would be easy to say it's not the best BBQ I've ever eaten, but that's not the point. To do quick service BBQ well is a big challenge and they do it pretty good, which is why I give it 5/5 stars. The drive thru line moves pretty quickly and the food is decent. I was impressed by how much brisket came in the platter. The salad was an excellent combination of ingredients. The cheese biscuits were the real surprise and next time I'll know to order an extra dozen. The baked beans were just okay (barely had any pork) and the coleslaw was good (pepper does the trick). I was not a fan of the BBQ sauce, but the meat definitely didn't need it, and I don't use sauce anyway. We will definitely be back again.

Not for sure what is going on with my favorite BBQ place, but the food isn't the same. Got a piggie baked potato which was so dry. No sour cream, no nothing. The smoked wings were not done. Order some fruit, got about 8 to 10 chunks of watermelon for $2.29. I was told there are different owners. What ever the reason, hopefully it will get better.

When Florida was just a small, backwater Spanish penal colony, two guys named Jim and Nick helped survey the land that is now known as NW Florida. Commissioned by the King of Spain to seek out new lands for imprisonment of those against the crown, Jim and Nick soon found a land abundant with palmetto palms, fauna, and Nike Outlet stores. On their journeys and excavations they learned that their hired workers worked their best when supplied with an abundant supply of BBQ. Before too long, the Florida panhandle was soon colonised, homes built, water parks spring up,and before too long Wal-Marts and gas stations dotted the land. As an homage to the men that made NW Florida what it is, Jim and Nick's BBQ sprung up in the small town of Niceville, FL. It serves as a beacon of flavour, hope, and a centre of friendship and a place of gathering for residences of this area.

Purchased the family meal with turkey and baked beans while on vaca. Our little ones loved the turkey but not the beans. The call ahead drive thru was slightly confusing since no one came out to greet. Will give them another try when we return to Destin.

Not pleased the smoked pork didn't have a smoked flavor. Not like it was in the past.

First time going here,seems odd to try to run an expensive bbq place thru the smallest drive thru in town.Got 2 bbq pork sandwiches for $18,not bad but kinda pricey for a sandwich,not enough bbq sauce on it but lots of pork so you can get lots of dry bites in your meal...I'd suggest going to sonny's,get more for your money.

Go to for take out. Ribs are beef now with less meat. A little spendy but Amber always gets a good tip from me because she is so friendly.

Not the dine-in restaurant like the Jim 'n Nick's in Birmingham - it was drive-through only. So, the menu was a bit more limited. However, the famous Jim 'n Nick's sauce was there as well as their very tender brisket and excellent barbecue chicken. Also, the cheese biscuits were a little small (probably because of to-go orders) but were good as always.

We catered and the general manager was amazingly helpful!

When Jim and Nick's opened in Niceville, they came across the street to my mom's store with their cheddar muffins for us to try. It worked, I've been hooked ever since. It's so good. EVERYTHING IS GOOD.

Native of Texas here, so I’m accustomed to a great brisket— but my oh my…..I just had the pork sandwich (subbed for brisket) and was treated to a heavenly taste that reminded me of home. If your taste buds are craving some amazing bbq, give Jim N’ Nick’s a go. You won’t be disappointed.

First time here. Bought the Beef Brisket Plate. Generous proportions for your dollar, it was delicious! Guy at the window very pleasant.

Their BBQ pork plate was good. Mac and cheese was very good. Price for the pork plate and drink was $18.36, so a little on the expensive side for what you get.

Food is so good. The lemon ice box pie is super good and it’s homemade. All their food is good. Super friendly staff.

Best French fries & Ranch in town!!! Cant forget the cheesy biscuits either! I would absolutely love to have a sit down location as the (one in Destin is closed) drive through lines and times are a little crazy 90% of the times we try to go.

If you’re ever in a long line in the drive through just know: it is 100% worth the wait. Their bbq meat is always fantastic, and those tiny little cheezy breads are to die for.

This used to be a 2-4 times a week stop for me but no more. I pretty much stopped going, because of some of their product changes over the past year. Some items are now gone from the menu and others are much smaller; even their burger has changed and is now tiny/tasteless. Yes, you can order a double but it's clearly not as good. I also miss breakfast very much but they apparently have no plans to bring this back. Note: I've always had excellent service from their friendly staff, so nothing negative towards them. This is all corporate-level decisions that are hurting their business. Yes, I've contacted/spoke to them but sadly they don't seem to care; their decision and position are pretty firm. For this reason, my decision is pretty firm too; I won't be back.

Order take out. Very easy to order and the employee was very sweet. They probably already know this but the whole drive thru is a mess. Still had to wait in line even though I ordered take out. Still. Food was hot and fresh when I got home and everything was right. Thank you for being open.

Food was amazing & Service was honest and swift. They noticed there was a small mix up in my order and corrected it before I even realized myself! Most places wouldn’t care but they did 10/10 recommend for quality alone.
