Cheap tacos and a great place to catch lunch with a colleague to discuss business. Staff is always friendly and professional.

Server was very lovely and helpful with suggestions. Food was good and plenty of it.

The food was okay. The "famous fried chicken" was the best of the 3 dishes we ordered. The club sandwich was not a traditional club... No middle bread or cheese, and the chicken fried steak was pretty bland.

Avoid this place like the plague. All the food is fried. I ordered the chicken sandwich. They claimed it was chicken breast, but it was probably the worst thing I've ever bitten into. If you want a processed grease-filled sponge on two buns, go for it. My two other family members ordered a hot beef sandwich and a chicken meal. None of us felt well afterwards. Try ordering food from the Farmer's Dog. That food is a more healthy choice. Dining at Jimbo's Heart Attack...is a must pass.

My dad is a regular here and recommended it for our family dinner. I always thought that Jimbo's was the front restaurant in LaVista Keno - it's not. Head around to the east side of the building to get to Jimbo's. Great food and attentive servers. Keno is the bonus!! And the tacos on Monday are fabulous.

The fried chicken here was really great it wasn't as greasy or heavy as some other places.

The food was just okay. Nothing very special. Nothing outstanding. Nothing to make me want to make a return trip there. The service was terrible. Jimbo's diner is attached to a Keno parlor, which is great for some people, but not conducive for having conversations with the others at your table.

Came for dinner and to play some keno. Played 8 games and not waited on or even acknowledged the whole time. We were there from 10 till 4 to 20 till 5. Decided to go get dinner elsewhere. Will not be back.

, I would like to bring to your attention an issue I encountered during my recent visit to your establishment. While the food was excellent, the service provided by our waitress was unsatisfactory. Upon being seated, we waited approximately 20 minutes before our order was taken. Although the food was served promptly and was of great quality, the waitress was slow in providing refills and attending to our additional requests. I hope this feedback will be taken into consideration to improve the overall dining experience for future customers. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

The food was good. but I had to get up a couple of times to get stuff from the waiter stand to ask for stuff like silverware.

Our experience at Jimbos was not so great this time. We waited over 10 minutes for a single person to acknowledge we were even at our table. Lots of ppl working saw us but didn't say anything. Finally, someone asked and then went and got our sever. Our food, the mashed potatoes, were unseasoned. The gravy was watered down, and the corn was just plain disgusting and mush. The sevice was slow and got my refil drink wrong. I couldn't even address it with them because they hardly came to check on us!! Waited a long time to bring our bill, and it was I assume the manager who brought us it along with to-go boxes. We've usually have had great experiences here in the past, and it kept us coming back. We are hoping this was a one-off situation.

It was ok. I think it was everyone's first day. Not my type of place though I like diners this wasn't really a diner. The staff seemed stressed. No blame on them but I wonder if there was a lot of turnover. It is definitely not 11worth or lisa's radial and it is really more like village inn 15 years ago when they weren't trying very hard. Prices were surprisingly high. I can't really recommend as brazenhead sounds so much tastier.

Excellent service and very good value for food. We went on a Saturday morning so it was extremely busy but the food came out in a reasonable time in the service was great.

Mashed potatoes were cold even after sent back to the kitchen. Asked for appetizer before meal and got it when I was done with my meal.

Placed online order at 6:58 p.m. ready time was 7:18 pm. Went in at 7:19 to be told it wasnt ready. Went back in at 7:26 to be informed they didnt have the catfish that I ordered and the chicken philly we had ordered still wasnt ready either. Order wasnt ready til 7:32 almost 35 minutes after the order was placed. Couldnt call the number we gave online to let us know they didn't have the catfish. Then when she tells me to have a good day and i dont respond because i dont want to come off rude with a tone she has the audacity to say "ok then" loudly like I'm in the wrong for the subpar service. Update the refund i was told to get online thru toast( which the company if you know toast doesnt do that the restaurant does) so she straight lied to my face about it too. But to make sure i called toast and they confirmed toast doesnt deal with guests directly the restaurants do. Called back asking to speak to a manager and she answers. Guess who can issue a cash refund now?

Jimbo's Diner is becoming our "go to" choice for breakfast outings. For decades we went to Leavenworth Cafe. Jimbo's steak 'n eggs is as good (or better) than Leavenworth. Pictured is their Steak (medium rare) & Eggs (over easy), hash browns, and pancakes. Coffee is included!

People sometimes ask if you're a glass half empty or half full kind of person. Well if you go to Jimbos you're glass will be completely empty. The food is decent but the service is always lacking. It's not just one server it's almost all of them. I swear the are trained not to go check on their tables.

My specific server was very bad at his job. If it was his first day I’m wondering where his trainer was. The place is a keno hall, which I actually really liked. The food was ok. I will not return

We have been to Jimbo's many times but will not return. Zero stars is my rating. We sat down and saw it was busy when we arrived, however the sever didn't tell us that there were only two cooks and it was an hour wait for food. The French dip and fries I ordered was beyond disappointing cold and meet was died out. The server took the sandwich to be remade only to come back with a similar result and sassy dialog.

Best chicken fried steak I've ever had!!! I never leave reviews, but wanted to give you guys a shoutout. Can't wait to be back!

We came Saturday night about 6pm. Place was busy. Took a while to get dinner but our server. Warned us the kitchen was running behind.

We stopped by randomly today because we had a bit of time to kill this morning. I can't begin to say enough good things about our waitress Leia, not sure on the spelling, but she rocked this keno/Cafe. She was so attentive to every customer. I haven't seen this level of attention to detail & such great customer service in a very long while. We will definitely be back. Thank you Leia

Jimbo's food and service is everything you would expect. Our waitress was extremely busy but kept everyone at our table of 9 happy and beverages filled :) I will return. I had the chicken strips and upgraded my side to onion rings as pictured. My husband had one of the 3 specials offered that day and he really liked it. There were several tables with large groups, I saw an old friend and she and family members meet there regularly for family gatherings. Must be dependably good food, staff and environment. Enjoy!!

We've lived in the area for almost 5 years and just discovered Jimbo's Diner this past summer. Delicious food, nice chill environment. Service has been great every time, except 1 time it was terrible. I don't mind the keno going on - I'm there to eat good food with my family. Reminds me of a small town diner. Nice place to watch the football games - not too loud or crowded. Love coming here.

Hot roast is made with sliced deli not actual roast made me very sick.

Went for lunch and to play a little keno. Food ,hot beef,was excellent service was as well. Keno was not kind to me but overall had a great meal and a good time.

We eat here once or twice a week for lunch. Always something on the menu that is desirable.

Not very good. Other people seem to like it. Won't be going back any time soon. Them just the facts.side of pancakes were a joke. Cold and not much bigger then a quarter. If you are trying to cut cost, pancake mix is pretty cheap...

Seems like we find hair in our food almost every time we eat here, so one of us is always watching the rest of us eat while they have to wait for their food all over again. Never any compensation given whatsoever.

I had the Pork Tenderloin, if you order it be hungry! It's a huge sandwich!

Onion rings and chicken fried chicken was the best I have ever eaten! Garlic parm boneless wings, delicious! Food was all so yummy and cook perfectly on everyone’s plate. Waiter was great! You definitely need to try! OH yes and big portions!

My family has come for breakfast two or three times. We have enjoyed the breakfast options. I like how the main keno room is separate from the restaurant. It can get crowded - at peak breakfast times. That is too be expected. We have never waited long and the staff was great.

My new favorite onion rings! I went here with a large group, so things were hectic, but I would go back just for those nicely breaded onion rings. The place was strangely huge-- I think half of it was for Keno? Weird layout, but the brunch was good.

It's not near as good as it use to be. They do offer dessert, but it's not on the menu or on display. We left hungry when there used to be enough food for two in one meal. Disappointing at best.

First off- The service was great! New employee in training and she did great. We ordered the chicken wings and I was disappointed in that they were very overcooked and dry (appeared like they had been leftover from a previous day and were being refried; or maybe they were par-cooked previously and then finished off, at any rate they were not fresh tasting). The sauces were good. The french fries I ordered were soggyish and luke warm, while my daughter got hot crispy ones. No seasoning really on anything. The food here was better the last time I came, but that was a long time ago. The atmosphere is really dark and was kinda noisy for a Thursday night. Overall, I have had better food elsewhere. Could have been an off night, so I am not opposed to trying here again, but time will tell when that might be.

I know liver and onions isn't for everyone, but if you do like it, you will love Jimbo's. 2 good sized pieces with tender caramelized onions. Service was great and there's Keno.

I hate to leave bad reviews but I have to. $7.50 delivery fee, fine. I paid it. Ordered Jumbo fried chicken w/ TWO sides. Received one side being mashed potatoes. Didn’t receive my salad? So you charge $7.50 for a delivery fee, left out my salad, and charged $15.99 for the meal ? $15.99 for a small side of mashed potatoes and fried chicken? Lol crazy to me. Doesn’t include bread like the pictures show in any of the meals I ordered. Fried shrimp meal came fine. Chicken tenders came fine but they really shouldn’t be advertising two sides with a meal if you’re not going to get what you’re paying for. I would’ve paid extra to receive my salad because that’s what I wanted with my meal. I don’t even usually really leave reviews but I’m 7 months pregnant and super sick rn so to pay for a convenience and not receive it while sick in bed, SUCKS. The food is good but they should pay attention to what people order, or just take it off the menu. Spent around $60 total, could’ve included my side salad for the price.

Went there 5-13-23 @4:30, got there not busy at all. Young man came up to take order, told us his machine could not take prime rib order. Then 20 minutes later, prime rib came out but did not even got salads yet. Told him to take it back because nobody seems to know their job. We really enjoyed going there but, not so much now.

We love the fried chicken dinners and desserts at Jimbo’s. Great prices for lots of great food, but if you carry out double check your order.

I had eggs benedict and the English Muffin was hard as a rock. Fruit was great. First time I had something I did not like from there.

Haven't been here in a while for breakfast not sure I'll ever be back - only 2 servers place was full (7am on a Sat.) sat about 15 minutes before being acknowledge server said she be back soon another 15 minutes finally menus another 15 minutes before coffee, water & silverware finally took our order another 15 minutes - scramble eggs were so greasy no taster even w/salt & pepper (lots) bacon so over cooked it broke into pieces, toast well, it was warm (it was not toasted) hash browns in a circle both side so crunchy & nothing to the inside never seen that before the wife couldn't eat hers & the server was nice & said how sorry she was about stuff not being upset, not sure what that met but, ok - However, she didn't charge us for the meal which was very nice - The place has been redone walls, ceiling painted black very depressing .....

We were in a rush to get to a hockey game. Told the waitress and she said "I got you" 5pm dinner rush and we had our food and was out if there in 45 min.

I had the chicken fried sirloin breakfast. It was pretty good, and the gravy was great. For how big the steak was, there should have been more hash browns, and the hash browns were just slightly over cooked. They have Tabasco sauce instead of some off brand hot sauce, which I really like. My eggs were over medium, not over easy, but they were still good. I'll definitely be back.

They were a bit short staffed. However once the waitress caught up it helped the whole experience! Ginger Wings were really good😋 What I would call teriyaki is what they were!!!!

Go here to play Keno with family multiple times a year and always have fun. Food is good and good prices. Would recommend for couples and even families

Server seemed rushed and gave us the impression she didn't want to be there. Saw her in the servers galley more than on the floor. We used to enjoy going to Jimbos. This time around we decided not so much.

My husband and I use to love this restaurant.. very disappointed.. went on a Friday night at 8:45 ordered a pork tenderloin and a chicken fried steak.. it was absolutely horrible .. both were made in bad grease, over cooked, and taste like fish.. Don’t plan on going back..

Last night was my first time in, Loved the prime rib special; probably one of the cheapest deals in town for a quality piece, Mary our server was attentive and kind. Coffee was never empty. Missing one star because the grease needed to be changed last night and it was clearly visible.
