Gross the most disgusting tasting pulled pork sandwich I have ever tasted. No pickle means don’t put it on the plate. They did anyways but both me and the other person with me got meat that tasted like it was old or came out of a can. Absolutely the worst bbq I have ever tasted. How do you mess up pulled pork?

Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. Pull pork sandwich and ribs! The sides were good sized portions.

We had the best service over the phone with a nice young lady. She was so helpful I wish I had her name. The food was amazing and the bbq sauce was off the chain. Thank you and we will be back.

Fall off the bone tender ribs and well seasoned green beans like my Granny made leave a lasting impression of this sweet little BBQ place.

This is our first visit to Jimbos Pit Bar BQ. I ordered the sliced pork sandwich, and my husband ordered the mixed meat plate, which consisted of sausage, ham, and beef. The food was good, but their BBQ sauce is very mild, so that was a little disappointing. And, this restaurant was quite crowded, so it appears that many customers are happy to dine here. :)

We have been coming here for years. Great barbecue and excellent service. Today (7/27/24) we went for lunch. There was a blind, elderly gentleman sitting inside. He had just finished his meal. The owner came over and took his card, but verified with him that he had handed him the correct card before running it. After a few minutes, the owner and one of his employees asked him what kind of car would he picking him up. They kept an eye out for the car and then proceeded to walk him out safely when it arrived. This is a level of care and service you can’t find at chains and a huge reason we will continue to eat at Jimbo’s! You all are great!!!

Beef sandwich this time and last time were both Pulverized Meat and not sliced. Been eating at Tampa location for 35 years. Always great there. I eat same thing every time. Lakeland sandwich is a lot smaller in size. So disappointed.

A friend brought me some chicken, ribs and hush puppies and I couldn’t eat them until the next day. The meat was fall off the bone delicious and I heated it up covered in foil in the oven. We will be eating here again!

Great food and service was amazing

I've actually ordered Jimbo's meal for my family's for holidays and special occasion dinners. With no concern of any thing being less than Perfect! I can always count on Jimbo's super flavorful foods! Not only BBQ, but the coleslaw salad, the macaroni salad and All the sides really. The Baked beans and the hush puppies oh my goodness Are oh so Good too!

Our waitress was very prompt in getting our drinks and taking our order. She had our food in less than 5 minutes. We are very pleased with the service and the very tasty food.

The service was great. The ribs were so tender and delicious. The potato salad was delicious also. Not a fan at all of the BBQ beans (don't know what they put in them but not my style. Tastes like Pork & Beans with artificial smoke and vinegar.) Will definitely be back for the ribs.

Tender ribs...good smoked flavor..no need for BBQ sauce. Cheesy homemade Macaroni and cheese. Only complaint is the BBQ beans are way too sweet. Price is right for a 4 bones meal with 2 sides: $12.

As a Lakeland native, this place feels like home. Had a cute idea for a gift idea, and one of the staff helped make it perfect! Food is always great. I'm grateful we still have Jimbo's!

Nostalgic. I can remember sitting with my parents as a youngster in the same table looking at the same picture. Went for lunch so much food i had it for dinner too. It was a taste of childhood. Great food and pricing. We had ribs and the pulled pork sandwich meal with 2 sides. I definitely will be going back soon.

The sliced pork sandwich was Delicious! Hush puppies were fresh and the barbecue sauce is perfect. I had excellent service at the drive thru window.

The waitress was courteous and friendly. She took my order promptly. Many customers knew her by her first name so she was a long time employee. Those free pickles slices were tasty as well as the free hush puppies. The pork sandwich was piled high with meat and it was delicious. The beans were A+ and tasted like from Grandma's kitchen. I will be back soon.

Though Ive been by many, many time, this was my first visit to Jimbo's. The ribs were absolutely delicious and the pulled pork was pretty righteous as well. The mac & cheese did not disappoint but, the potato salad was a bit too "busy" for me. Too much stuff in it and they were big chunks. Sorry, but I'm not about that, keep it simple. Price was relative to the items and portions in my 2 meat plate with 2 sides a lnd 3 hush puppies. Overall, it thoroughly enjoyed it and will be back to try other menu items. Being named Jimbo's, I would've thought they'd have greens on the menu. Maybe a suggestion? Stop by and try them out.

Food great as ever. It still has that unique fun rustic, nostalgic feel, family atmosphere. My son & I went inside and when he asked for the bill our server said someone has already paid for it! She was so sweet. We did give her a tip. Jimbo's has the best Apple pie with hot apple cider sauce. This place has a personal connection for me, with many happy memories.
