Dropped in to check this place out because I did know if it was a restaurant, just a tasting room, or a private winery. I was pleasantly surprised. Although they have a Chef that prepares food from a small, but delicious menu, I just tried a flight of 3 wines this time. They ship the grapes in from around the world and craft their wines on the premises and have plenty of a selection. I tasted the 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon. Stellenbosch from South Africa, their 2019 Cabernet from Suisun, CA, and the 2020 Syrah Stellenbosch, South Africa. If I had to pick just one, my first choice was the Syrah…which I surprised myself because I’m usually a Cab guy. I’ll certainly be back to taste more and will be sure to order food from the menu!

A Pleasant Surprise - John Robert Cellars' Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve I recently had the pleasure of trying John Robert Cellars' Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve, and I must say, it was a delightful surprise. My wife visited their wine bar near Philadelphia in the spring and couldn't stop raving about it, so I decided to order a case for her birthday – and I'm so glad I did! The packaging was impeccable, and the delivery was prompt. When I finally had the chance to enjoy a glass, I was blown away. The taste is a perfect blend of rich berries and chocolate, with a strong but not overpowering oak flavor. It's truly one of the best wines I've had. I appreciate the attention to detail and the craftsmanship that goes into producing such a fine wine. John Robert Cellars, you've won me over! I'll definitely be ordering again. Cheers! 🍷 RBR

These gentlemen are producing the very best wine on the planet Earth🍷Wonderful and balanced selection of wines and Delco's finest 2 SP beers. 👏 🏆 Amazing appetizers bar on Thursdays and Fridays with purchase. Delicious small plates, and deserts on the menu. Very clean, comforting ambience, and lovely decor!

First time there this past weekend , we did a private wine tasting. The tasting included five wines paired with a cheese/cracker/fruit etc that would compliment the wine. They were all delicious. The favorite one for most of us was the Vanilla gelato with frozen blueberries paired with their blueberry wine. The tasting room itself is really nice and the staff is friendly. The pizza looked amazing we unfortunately did not get a chance to try it but will be going back for the pizza and more wine sooner than later!

Very nice. Wife and I went with another couple. We each had a flight. Being associated with another winery so it was very nice to be able to talk with John. I am going to try to do a little swap with our wines and his. I will definitely go back.

My sister threw my husband and I a going away party and we started at John Robert cellars. The delco red was absolutely delicious. I loved the way the place was decorated it had a relaxing atmosphere where we were able to talk. My sister said setting up the reservation with the staff was easy. Highly recommended. I'll be back for sure!

Sometimes great wine can be where you least expect it. Really good wine (non local grapes), nice atmosphere and good service. Will definitely be back.

Great place! Loved the wines, food and service.

Stopped in last month when I was working in the area and tried a flight. Wine was good so I purchased a bottle of 2018 Cabernet to surprise my wife. Told her how great a wine it was but when iI opened it at dinner found out the bottle was bad, tasted like vinegar. Had to pour a $24.00 bottle of wine down the drain. I sent owner a comment through their website but got no response.

My husband and I had a very relaxing and enjoyable afternoon today at John Roberts. We felt welcomed by John, one of the owners. The three tier wine sampler is a good start to get familiar with their wines. The cheese board and charcuterie was an excellent variety of cheeses and meats. The pizza was also great. Chelsey, the bartender, was very knowledgeable and friendly.So glad this place is so close.

John Robert Cellars NEVER disappoints! The wine is fantastic and the selection offers something for every palate. They also offer a charcuterie board which is delicious and 2 different homemade pizzas. A gem in the heart of Delco.

My husband and I went here for a date night for the first time yesterday. It’s so nice having a place like this so close to home. The atmosphere was nice. The owner was amazing and very good at explaining all the different wines to us. We ended up leaving with six bottles of wine. Can’t wait to go back and we also told some of our friends about this wonderful place. Can’t wait to tell more!

Wonderful friendly staff, was a treat to meet John and Robert, you will deffently enjoy the flights of wine they offer. The cheese and charcuterie tray was excellent along with the Margarita pizza with tomato and Basil. Will definitely visit again.
