Cafe style dining. We had the sausage and gravy roll. It was so big we shared it. This was a sourdough roll that had sausage instead of cinnamon sugar rolled into it then topped with sausage gravy.

I went here for the first time today and I was so wildly impressed I had to come leave a review before the taste left my mouth. The shop is so conveniently placed in town, the atmosphere was so relaxed and kid friendly so my two kids played jenga while we ate. The pretzels (Fridays special) were SOOOOOO good! And so big! They give you two sauces with each pretzel and yuuuummmm it’s not crappy nacho cheese it’s real melted cheddar 🤤 There was a lunch special that you get a free cupcake with your pretzel, so I got two free and bought four more. The lady who helped us was so sweet and handled the rush very well. She gracefully helped like 4 people in person while answering calls and online orders! Impressive. HOLY MOLY these sourdough cupcakes are next level good. The frosting was soooooo perfect for the cupcakes too. Thanks so much for the delicious lunch!

I unfortunately was disappointed with my wedding cake received by Jo's Oven. This bakery came highly recommended to me for wedding cakes ect. I did not realize all baked goods are made from sourdough....this truly is my fault as I should have done more research. I will say that it should be advertised better; on the website, the Facebook page and in the bakery. My cake was not ready by the scheduled pick up time and had to be remade twice. When we finally went to cut into it the cake was extremely dense and difficult to cut. It was overcooked on the outside and overall completely disappointing. I was too embarrassed to serve it to my guests and had to go find another wedding cake in the middle of our celebration. I kept the cake in the fridge and returned it to the bakery the day after next. At first they only wanted to offer me a 50% refund- which truly is unacceptable. They did make it right and refund me the entire amount which I do appreciate, but I will not be visiting this bakery again.

One of the best cupcakes I've had. Orange Mimosa cupcake had a great balance of sweetness. Biscuit and gravy was massive and could feed 2 people. Sourdough base went really well with the gravy. The hint of sourness balances out the creamy gravy

We recently got married just after Christmas in Alaska. Our minister chose this place for our wedding cake. I'm not a sweet tooth and this cake was amazing. We ended up eating the whole cake between 2 people for dessert until it was sadly all gone. Don't remember the name of the cake but it was a sourdough cake (super moist) with eggnog icing. Absolutely delightful. Thank you so much. It is my cake I've ever tasted. But I'm biased due to the occasion 😆

One of the best of 5 places for Biscuits and Gravy. Fantastic homemade biscuits and fresh sausage Gravy that is incredible. Huge biscuit! Service people are friendly and knowledgeable about the products! I will be back!!

I am In love with their cupcakes. They use sourdough which gives so much flavor. I'm a classic chocolate girl but my family loves the Mapple one.very friendly staff and they even have a sprinkle station.

I ordered a dozen cupcakes for a birthday a week and half in advance, received confirmation of the order but they needed more information so I called back… several times to confirm/pay and arrange pick up and no one called me back. It’s bizarre how many businesses in fairbanks won’t let you pay them for their services.

I just had the sourdough breakfast bake with sausage gravy! One of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had! If you’re into biscuits and gravy, this is the place to go!

Biscuit and gravy was amazing!! Could feed a family of four maybe?? 😂. So big we'll be eating it for lunch too. Service was amazing and they have a wonderful selection of baked goods. Worth the time checking it out..

On our way out of Fairbanks, we passed a trailer advertising Sourdough cupcakes. Having never heard of such a thing, this peaked my foodie interest! Another flavorful surprise on my trip! You can order different flavors of cupcake and then you get to custom select the icing! I also grabbed one of their pepperoni pizza twirls. It all was so delicious and I highly recommend trying if you are in the area!

Jo’s Oven is the best local bakery for GF options. I have Celiac Disease and I highly recommend Jo’s Oven! All of the GF options are lovely. The Strawberry Cream Cheese Roll is always my (*chef’s kiss*) favorite.

Jo’s Oven has always done great cakes/cupcakes for us but today she really made things possible for us without us stressing. Our other baker we use got sick and had to cancel. Jo’s Oven was able to pull something off for us so last minute and I appreciate it so much. Thank you for always being great!

A gluten free hidden gem downtown!! Everything i have ever tried from them has been exceptional and their cupcake flavors are brillant. I highly recommend, especially if you are gluten free

Amazing!!! Menu changes every day. Monday-Wednesday breakfast, savory food and cupcakes. Thursday Sourdough cupcakes and cinnamon roll. Friday sourdough pretzels and Saturday, chef's choice. Chocolate frosting was divine. Best cinnamon roll I've had and that's saying something compared to Cinnabon. Lady was nice even though it was raining and she didn't keep us too long because she knew it was raining. Please come check this out.
