The owner is a classic host. My only recommendation is to not come here to eat rushed. You need at least three hours and prepared to be entertained. The owner loves Cigars, so if you enjoy them, please bring them to share with the owner.

Perfect. We had the filet mignon, the duck a l'orange and a stuffed grape leaves appetizer, and there is nothing at all I would tweak or change. The only thing I would do differently next time is come with another couple to split a bottle of wine.

My reservations were canceled at another restaurant, and the team at Joseph’s were so graciously able to take my party and on last minute! The service was absolutely impeccable, my steak is cooked perfectly, which I generally do not experience in most restaurants, and Eli even gave us a special dessert because he heard one of my friends was going through a tough time. I will be returning!

AMAZING!!! Joseph actually answers the phone, seats you, serves you, and takes care of your every need. His daughter and son were also in the front of the house. His wife makes the bread (OMG!) and the tiramisu that's melt in your mouth. The food is literally life changing. I absolutely love this place. Very small inside with about 6 tables and then a small bar. Outside, there are about another 6 tables that each seat 4. Highly highly HIGHLY recommend!

In a word…phenomenal! We were taking a staycation in Delray and stumbled upon Joseph’s and we are so glad we did! Joseph is amazing, as is his family, all committed to excellence in cuisine and wine selection. It is clear that not only do they inject their culinary talent in to their food, but their hearts as well…a love and appreciation for the finest! We will be back with consistent frequency. We came here because we wanted to splurge on a fancy dinner. I did not anticipate how the prices on the current menu are all 20% higher than the prices posted on their website and in the photos. So, OK. The vibe of this restaurant is definitely the typical Nouveau-Riche South Florida clientele who do not care about the quality/price relation and simply enjoy spending a lot of money. We enjoyed our meal and drinks, but for $90 per person total, it sould have been a bit more extravagant and creative cuisine. This is what we spent without even ordering red meat... I recommend the Manhattan cocktail for $20. The cocktails are large and strong so you only need one. Wines by the glass range from $12-22 but warning: they may be sold out of the lower cost wines and suggest you to purchase a more expensive wine. I overheard this happen twice while we were there. I recommend the $39 salmon for interesting flavors. The $32 chicken kebab was good, a little overcooked meat. Comes with lettuce and yummy hummus. But this is nothing you can't get for $12 at a small family restaurant in Boynton, for example. This is why we did not feel "blown away" by this experience although we enjoyed it. We are from the northeast and have high standards for what a $180 dinner should feel like. FYI The lamb chops and steak are $59. Most appetizers around $18. Salads are $16. Do not have sticker shock when you arrive and see a different menu than what you saw online. Clientele seemed mostly older. I recommend coming before 7pm to avoid feeling packed-in or having to sit outside. Enjoy. *Note, the only reason included a price tag on everything is because the current prices are not visible online. Otherwise I would not have.

LOVE this place! In fact, it’s one of my favorite restaurants in South Florida. The food is always delicious, and the service is impeccable. Food-wise, anything you order is guaranteed to be great! In addition to having a full bar (lovely hand-crafted cocktails), they also offer an extensive and carefully-selected wines from all over the world -by the glass and bottle. They’re passionate about their wines and really spend time with the customers to help find the best match for their pallet. My husband and I visited Joseph’s restaurant numerous times, and we always feel welcomed. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

We had the pleasure of dining at Joseph ‘s a few weeks ago. The entire staff could not be nicer and the food was excellent. Caesar salad, beet salad (fresh beets - no need to ask , lol ) escargot, crab cakes….. all excellent but the real winner was Elie Manhattan ! One of the best we’ve ever had. We will be back! This small, intimate family owned restaurant is one of the BEST in Delray! The food is seriously the best. The salmon was perfection and the Filet was amazing…the red wine Chianti sauce on top the BEST we’ve ever had! Thank you Joseph & family for the excellent service and super fun night! I’ve lived in Boynton Beach for three years for my surgical residency. Haven’t found a place as welcoming as Joseph’s Wine Bar! If you’re a wine person, dare you to take a gander at the extensive, well thought out wine list. The food is exquisite! What really makes Joseph’s Wine Bar exceptional is the family feel at this family owned restaurant. It is our spot! Everybody is looking for a spot, this is ours! If you’re looking for a European local feel, look no further.

Words can’t describe how much my husband and I love this place. It is everything you could wish for in a romantic family owned cozy restaurant with delicious wine and food. We frequent here often and each time we feel more and more at home there which really speaks to the owner his wife and his children who all work here. You can taste the love and attention that is put in to every dish. Its the perfect hidden jewel of Delray for dining. The occasion doesn’t matter- we’ve been here for birthdays, for dinners with my boss, for dinners with friends and with family. Each time has been wonderful! Hands down the best food in Delray. Exceptional taste, very high quality ingredients. We crave Joseph’s escargot, kofte, humus, and halloumi plate 2-3 times a week. Unbelievable how good everything is. So are Eli’s cocktails. The quality here in Joseph’s makes me so happy because I feel like Delray has so many overly hyped and overly priced mediocre restaurants. Joseph’s food is unparalleled and I am so thankful to have this place nearby.

Joseph Wine Bar and Cafe is an excellent small family owned restaurant with an extensive wine list. My wife and I had a great dinner and enjoyed the bottle of wine that was recommended for us. The Baked Brie, Lamb Chops and the Sea Bass that we ordered were all cooked perfectly. We will be back!

Showed up on a Friday evening with no reservations and was seated immediately. The owner and his son were very accommodating. I requested a drink that they were unable to make however made a great selection for a substitute and assured me if I did not like it, they would make something else for me. Food was delicious and the drinks were great. Towards the end of our meal, the owners son was reading off specials to another table and mentioned the ONE item I came in for that was not mentioned to me. The owner saw my reaction and without hesitation or question brought out the dish for me to try. His ability to read his guests and go above and beyond was the icing on the cake for our experience. Although it would be a 5/5 regardless, the subtle touch made our night and made a great impression. Def. will be coming back.

This small bistro style resturant is a jewel. This Lebanese family turns out wonderful dishes with Mediterranean flare. The spinach turnover appetizer was packed with lemon zest and flakey. The Australian lamb chops were cooked to perfection and their hummus as creamy and truely Mediterranean in spice and texture. Salmon was delicious and the seared tuna was beautiful and tasty but I would get the salmon the next time and the steak looks great. We also had an almond cake with strawberries for dessert which was a slice of sweet clouds. They have a Cotes De Rhone on the wine list that is amazing. The whole family treats you like family . Definitely make reservations, be flexible because it will be worth it.

My fiance surprised me with reservations at Joseph's during a quick getaway to Delray Beach for the weekend. When we got there , Joseph himself greeted us and took us to a table for two by the vast wine wall. We were the only ones there at 7:45 pm. And I thought to myself , this isnt a very popular restaurant. Boy was I wrong. At the strike of 8 pm, the place filled up every seat in the house. Looked like alot of locals were dining at Josephs and they should know best right? They sure do. This place was filled with energy, laughter and conversations. Joseph and my fiance Carl were addressing each other by first names as if they were long time friends. Joseph recommended an excellent red wine, Emmolo...Let's just say that was the FIRST time we ever ordered "2" bottles of wine at a restaurant. Probably one of our top favorites now. He introduced us to his children who would be taking care of us for the evening. We ordered the escargot. A delicious piping hot bowl with a cheese puff on top of the most amazing flavorful seasoned escargot under it. My fiance, got the lamb , which was cooked just right and melted in your mouth and I got the Salmon dish. All cooked to perfection. I think we ooohed and Ahhed through the whole dinner. Did I mention the ambience of this place? Although , conversations were loud, you still felt like you were at your own intimate dinner and could only hear each other. Joseph's restaurant ranks up there in the top two of the best restaurants we have been to and we go out alot to eat when we travel. You can tell this family has a love for good food and providing excellent service. A fantastic anniversary dinner for us. Thank you Joseph!

I haven’t eaten here yet but I felt compelled to write a review because of how friendly everyone was. I drive for delivery dudes and they got me in and out with a warm smile. The bartender even greeted me with a smile and he wasn’t even helping me. I loved the vibe. Will certainly eat here soon.

This place is amazing. It's entirely family room with the Mom and Dad cooking, the daughter waiting tables and the son at the bar. The food is incredible with even the pickiest family members enjoying their meals. The wine selection is phenomenal and everyone is well able to provide useful recommendations. Our great first visit: my wife and I were famished after a day wrangling children at the beach. Everything was closed early for Christmas Eve but we poked into Joseph's to see if they could give us anything. They were out of most food after a busy day but they set us up at the bar, made us the Mediterranean platter and a crab cake, poured some delicious wine, chatted amicably and generally made it an incredible experience.

Just stopped in for a quick lunch. Joseph the owner suggested a chicken wrap and tabouli. I am not a big fan of wraps but it was DELICIOUS! The tabouli salad was incredibly fresh and on par with the best I've had...maybe better! Great little cozy space!
