We hosted my son’s 10th birthday at K1, and he absolutely had a blast with his friends…despite losing all the races! The staff was professional and accommodating, and the event space was really impressive. I could easily see this being a great spot for grown ups to gather and play, too.

Ok. . Everyone has to do it once .. i still rather outdoor with gas powered karts. The electric will just stop on you and your stuck for a few seconds . Sorta fun I think kids love it however its expensive to do more than once in while .. could drop the rates some for the kids . Extend track its too short . Would you pay this much to ride on a roller coaster ..no .. would you pay this much to ride the old gas powered karts .. . Should be 20 bucks a race .. . And get more arcade games there is hardly anything else to do here but karts .. id give this place a 2 out of ten ... .

A bit pricey, but we had a good time.

We had a fantastic party there for my son. The staff at K1 speed went above and beyond in coordinating the party from start to finish!

Came for my son’s bday (group of 7), we had a blast. Staff members were very friendly and accommodating. Track is smooth and cars run fast with no errors. We will definitely be back.

The girl that checked us in was extremely rude. Also the last time we were there they had said they gave my son a free ride cause we were celebrating his birthday and it was nowhere or at least the rude girl wasn’t helping to find it. Overall we had a great time but it started out rough.

Great spot and even better staff. These guys are so nice and are clearly real racers. If you’re around, you have to go. Ask for Derek, that guy’s cool.

Kellan at the track was the best. He helped us get onboarded, settled into the cars and on the track more quickly than I have seen at any other circuit. If you see him helping you out, thank your luck because he will support your group’s experience expectations by going above and beyond with his support.

Visited the Elmwood location for a team building event and found the whole experience to be amazing. Quality of facilities and standard of catering was excellent for the budget allocated. Special thanks to Kaitlin, Tiffany, Kirea, Callie and Jordan for their superb attention, customer service and excellent tolerance.

Kira is always down to be my daughter's race buddy when we go. She also took care of her finger when she lost a bandaid. Always a great experience!

Experience was good staff was kinda bossy/pushy almost everyone in our group had something wrong with there go-kart from steering throttling and randomly shutting off ,excessive shaking on front ends ..experience wasn't great it over all had a good time

My son's birthday party was a wonderful experience. Derek was an exceptional host, ensuring everyone was happy and that all our needs were met.

We had a group of 9 people, celebrating a 21st birthday. We opted for the 2 race package. The staff were polite, efficient and fun. The GM we met on a previous visit was awesome also. They made the whole experience a great one. The equipment is well taken care of and clean. That's often over looked in these reviews. GREAT JOB ALL ROUND.

This place is just sad. Super expensive for how tiny the track is and if more experienced racers leave you in the dust you get your time cut short. Basically no air condition and they bully you into buying the yearly membership just for one race. The turns are too frequent to safely get up to any reasonable speed.

Love the inclusion that K1 staff in New Orleans has for everyone including my autistic son. Every time we have gone they have been patient and kind. One staff member Tiffany actually remembered our family and she takes her time to explain to him what he needs to do in order to complete the race safely. Thanks so much

Had a great experience at k1 all around! Kaitlin at front desk was so helpful and friendly made the experience of go karting ten times better. loved the experience everyone was friendly and welcoming but especially Kaitlin.

Outrageous price for how small the track is. My family and I went and two strangers on thr track where going way faster and kept pushing us. We also only got to do 8-9 laps instead of 12 bevause the strangers finished so fast.

We race at every K1 we can. This by far is the best and most complex track we have driven. First time here but laps were only less than a second of fastest lap record. We live 5 hours from New Orleans so it's not often we come down this way,,,,BUT I would drive down here just for this

Jordan and genius helped me and guided me a beginner to K1 on how to course and try and beat my friends,I hope they get treated well and get good treatment from the staff and they help all future customers and racers in the future like they did me.

I normally don’t leave reviews, but this incident was horrible. A few of the workers were very kind and helpful. I could not enjoy and genuinely drive the race because the steering wheels were too heavy. Note: I’m a petite 5 foot adult, and the cars were just not constructed with support. I bumped into people and the walls a few times, but it was an accident since it was difficult to have control. The biggest problem was that I kept getting hit by other players and being slammed into the walls so many times. This worker who was in charge of the flags stopped the game to tell me that I was going to be kicked out for hitting the walls so much for the safety of others, YET HE DID NOT SAY CRAP TO THE CHILDISH GROWN UPS WHO KEPT PUSHING ME INTO THE WALLS, GIVING ME MULTIPLE FEELINGS OF WHIPLASH. Luckily, there was another worker in the area who vouched for me, and I am so grateful for him. He asked me, “what’s wrong?” cause he sees me holding my head, on the verge of tears, and clearly struggling. I tell him that the wheel is too heavy, and my head hurts. Thanks to him, I was able to get a smaller and lighter car that felt WAY MUCH EASIER to drive, but what sucked it was near the end of the race. I understand the waiver and dangers, but what upsets me is that one worker with the flags at the 7:45 race wanting to kick me out when I clearly was struggling maneuvering and kept getting hit by others and not reprimanding the grown adults hitting me. After the race, I left with my boyfriend crying because I always wanted to go here, but my head was in absolute pain, and I almost got kicked out of the race when these cars are not made for petite people, and the people who hit me did not get called out. All the workers other than that one guy were amazing absolutely, especially the man who saw me crying and struggling. EDIT: Management has reached out and gave us new opportunities to try again and told us about which days are nice for couples. While I did have a bad experience, I edit my review from 2 stars to 5 because management reached out quick to apologize, empathize, and gave us each an additional race for the next visit to give K1 a chance. I’m excited to give K1 a second chance with a car more compatible for me and hopefully race with more relaxed and/or less people. :)

It was kind of pricy,for two kids with the speed pass membership you get a t shirt of your choice and you to keep the mask but it was 120-140 depending on if you get a hat or shirt plus which member ship you get but it was really fun and one race is about 10-13 minutes depending on how fast/slow the drivers are the emoyees were nice and it was easy to sign up but still a little pricy.👍

My family and I had a great time at K1Speed. Our kids are age 9 and 10. The kids had an amazing time. We ended up staying longer than expected. Malachi was awesome making sure my kids were comfortable with the go carts and equipment due to it being their first time riding go carts. We will be back.

This is a great place for youths and adults! We're not out of the parking lot and the boys are wanting to know if we can come back this weekend. This is our 4th time at this K1 in Elmwoods. Our grandchildren also go to their track in Richmond, VA. This is their FAVORITE! Jae was great and extremely knowledgeable. Bad in every aspect First of all the check in procedure Second of all when we went through the briefings it was given by one employee that didn’t even ask us if we have any questions Than we jumped in the car during the laps the employee who controls the cars was applying brakes to my car all the time so he lets his friends pass me !!!!! Than when i asked are you controlling the brakes of my car he said no its might be you because the brakes system is very sensitive and maybe your foot barely touches it!!!!!!!!!

I decided to celebrate my son’s 10th birthday this last Sunday. The staff was very professional and made sure the party ran as smooth as possible. From the food and drink to organizing the final race, everything went well. K1 gets 10s across the board!!! Thank you all so much!

All the employees here are so nice. My son was the only kid so instead of racing alone, an employee (Trey) raced against him. The venue is really clean, they have snacks and drinks and games to play while you wait. We've been to 3 other K1s and we like NOLA the best.

Unorganized. Please don’t wear crocs, they charge to borrow shoes. Overpriced and they were out of the head protection thing that comes with new membership. A membership that cost almost $10 that you are forced to purchase is you want to race. The staff were like zombies who didn’t enjoy their jobs for the exception of this beautiful black young lady at the counter and the kid with the blond hair by the race station. They made the entire experience better. Otherwise, I would’ve been even more pissed than I already am.

Las time we came we had a fun man attending us . Came back tonight and I guess they made an error putting our names in the system, the young boy calmly explained that his supervisor would come and help Im not sure if she was the supervisor but she had an attitude with me since I was translating the issue to my husband and friend. She spoke with a strong attitude and with facial expressions as if I was a stupid child since I had to ask her to repeat her question (I had the helmet on it was hard to hear) she was white fairly short about 5’2 and had leaf earring green and gold not sure if she had piercings. Over all we enjoy the place but not that rude lady. Hope they fix that:)

This K1 Speed location has even better cars than our regular location in Florida. We were so happy with our experience here today. The location is super clean and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. We especially enjoyed our conversation with Mr. Derek Wedgeworth who took the time to explain racing tips to our kids and gave them some good life lessons! We will certainly be coming back and look forward to also taking some private driving lessons on the track.

It's expensive but the kids LOVED it and it was something different than the usual places we end up. I was jealous I wasn't the one out there having all the fun! The staff was friendly and helpful and it wasn't crowded on a Saturday. We'll be back for sure.

If you are debating booking your event with K1 Speed, this is your sign to do it. I just had my bachelor party there over the weekend, and we had the best time. The carts are legit as well. It felt like we were flying and the staff does a really good job keeping you safe in the event of accidents and spin outs (which we had plenty of, lol). They took the time to show us the right line to help us all improve our times and were hyping us up throughout the event. They customized it to what we were looking to do and even let us split our group of 12 into a fast and slow heat. They made it a really fun and eventful event. Loved it here. It has two of my buddies in their thirties talking about becoming amateur racers now. Definitely book here!

From the front counter to the karting experience, the entire staff was friendly, pleasant, and engaging with the guests. Very clean, comfortable and relaxed facility. Special shout out to the Manager Derek. He made it a point to approach as many guests as he could, to encourage, support, and offer tips to help them get better. Very well run operation. Definitely will be back.

To start this wonderful review off I would like to give a shout out to the most helpful manger there, Kaitlin! She was so helpful when we were purchasing our races and explained the whole lore about racing to me. Such a sweet and kind soul. The food was to die for and the restrooms were spic and span! Such a great time with my buddies will for sure come back! ;)

Had so much fun here! Went with my best friend, sign up process was easy and we only waited about 30 minutes to race. During that time we tried the restaurant, the nachos and churro bites were delicious. Shout out to Kaitlin who rung us up and explained the entire membership process. Will definitely return!

Fun but expensive. Forced a yearly membership just to get a card and a head sock for the helmet. Cost almost $200 for 3 of us to race 3 times and that included a 3 for 2 Father’s Day deal… so normally it would have been almost $200 for 3 of us to race twice.

We got rain out in Nola and we went to K1 speed and Derrick took us in like family ❤️

Great fun. It was a little expensive, but we still had a good time.

New track layout is small and even though karts are advertised as going up to 45mph, you can't go that fast because of how short the straightaway is. Not enough seat-time for the price. They will tell you heats last 10 minutes, but races really last about 5-6minutes unless it's Junior karts. Original layout was more adequate and provided a longer race/better value. Depending on who's managing the race, you might be either shorted of a lap or given an extra lap. For the current layout, heats should be time-based, not lap based, in order to give a more consistent experience to all drivers. Included photos of layouts for comparison. Straightening the first 3 corners reduced the average session over 1 minute of overall seat-time. Current average adult session is about 5 minutes. Sidenote: NO REFUNDS even if the race goes bad due to incidents or bad drivers. I don't think I will come back to this location after I finish my race package. Tried to contact corporate due to previous issues here and they said could not do anything because this is a franchise.

Came here for a little family night out, was told we could only do one race because a big group was going which was fine we just wanted to give this place a try and if we wanted to ride more we would just wait until The group was done. The guy at the register seemed lost, new, I don’t know. It was myself my boyfriend and my 14 year old daughter that were going to ride. He asked my daughter to stand by a height stand and she was over the adult line. He stated even though she is above the adult line she has to ride in the junior race and can’t go around the track with me and my boyfriend 🤔 besides the group going after us we were the only 3 people riding, so she has to go around the track by herself? What’s the point? And what was the point of seeing if she was at the adult height line? She also was too big to just ride with me apparently 🤷🏼‍♀️ we came as a family to race together. The entire interaction was weird and made no sense. A lady walked up as I’m saying it made no sense and we came as a family and I didn’t want my my daughter to ride around the track by herself and looked just as clueless as the guy at the register. Customer service sucks here and wouldn’t know how fun the go karts are🤷🏼‍♀️

Over priced, they cut your races short & slow your go-kart down half of the race. Called police & denied footage of an incident that happened while I was on the track. Terrible management.

Went for a group event! Staff was awesome very helpful! Especially Brandi who was not only in the kitchen cooking but also training and entertaining customers and helping at the register, she was wonderful would definitely come back again.

I just wanted to give a quick shout-out to K1 Speed Manager Jessica Caulfield. My ten-year old daughter wore open toe shoes that aren’t allowed on the track for safety reasons. Instead of simply sending us away, Jessica went above and beyond to make sure my daughter didn’t leave disappointed! Jessica looked to see if they had any spare shoes behind the counter in her size. When they didn’t, she actually went out to her own car to look for a pair of her own daughter’s shoes. What really could have been a horrible experience for my girl turned out to be a great day – thanks to Jessica Caulfield! I really appreciate everything you did for my daughter! Chris Merrifield

It was fun, but the boost didn’t work and we were stopped too often for too long to get a true lap time. Very few laps were uninterrupted. But, in the name of safety, I presume it was necessary. The nature of the sport.

Every worker was nice and had great service.

I enjoyed my experience there. My kids also enjoyed themselves. I thought the prices could have been better but they were fair. It would be hard to bring the whole family on a monthly basis, but other than that, it was a great experience

Overall, we enjoyed the time spent. I stand 6'1 and that car was a little small for me. I still had a good time
