Food was delicious, Staff is friendly, Place is clean.. Would definitely recommend here to anyone looking for tasty food. I ordered the jerk chicken w/ fried rice and chicken w/ lo mein.. only thing which was on me, next time I will preorder my food because obviously they cook the food fresh. But will be coming back again soon!!!

I was at this restaurant on several different occasions. The recent addition to the meni is their wonton, very delicious. My usual is the roast duck fried rice, chicken fried rice, jerk chicken. The food here is always delicious. I highly recommend Kaieteur Tropical to my Caribbean and non Caribbean folks

Excellent staff and great food. Walking into the restaurant, it was very welcoming with beautiful tropical artwork The owner was excellent, kind, and compassionate . He even walked over to our table and checked on us . As per the food, it was delicious kudos to the chef . The best guyanese chinese food I ever ate.

Best Guyanese/trini Restaurant and bar in Florida. I am Haitian and I love this restaurant. The chicken fried rice and bbq chicken fried rice is the best. We do regular takeout and dine in sometimes. The food is great and the drinks are strong. Also try the shrimp wontons, they are spicy and fresh.

Best West Indian Chinese food in all of Florida! If you are in Kissimmee Florida please do yourself a favor and visit this jem of a restaurant! Locally owned and family ran. This guyanese restaurant is the real deal and they are straight out of NYC! They are the original owners of the Kaieteur restaurant in New York city and they have mastered this craft to the max! Dave, Randy and Racheal are the best and always treat my family and I as family of their own. The best of the best!!!!

July 7th 2024, l placed an order for 1ckn lowmein n 1ckn fried rice. I was surprised when my husband gave me the food and I looked at the bill. It was $43+ . The food that l ordered was mixed chowmein/fried rice. I do not do beef. I don't live closely. Very disappointed

The food here is really good we always stop by here when visiting Orlando but man it sure takes way too long to get your food so knowing that we ordered 30 mins ahead for pickup and still had to wait a hour after getting there

Let me start by saying I had never gone to a place that's made me feel more welcome than this one. Great atmosphere, super friendly & attentive staff. Kevin is an absolute doll! He made me the most yummy drink which I'm gonna have to come back and drink again. Friday night vibes with amazing live music and DJ but wait....the food here is delicious, delightful, and delectable. Jerk chicken with fried rice was the best, the flavors were on point.I enjoyed the Shrimp Rangoon, was very good and the stuffed cod fish was so moist and juicy. I drive down this road every day and never knew this hidden gem existed. Now I know this is the spot I'll be stopping by to get my amazing food and drinks at! Gracias!

Nice family owned restaurant serving Guyanese, Caribbean, and West Indie cuisine such as various curries and Indo-Chinese dishes such as fried rice and sauced fish. The owner of the restaurant was very friendly and accommodating. The food itself was very flavorful and came in great portion. The decorations, atmosphere, and hospitality paired with the food will make it feel like you are visiting Guyana. Definitely worth visiting.

Every item on the menu is made fresh, hot, and super delicious! I'm a regular customer there, and every time I order my food, it's accurate, tasty, and on point! To all my followers this is 12 outta 10 star for west indian food !!! Go and try it out !! Very clean and updated environment the people are very nice and kind and the portions are huge big plates ..go eat with your hand or utensil stay and have refreshment and spirits watch the game etc...this is my first stop when I'm out here and I always buy to take home!!

If you’re thinking about coming here don’t!!!! They have the worst service, after 57 mins we finally got our appetizers and waited over 2 house for our food before we decided to get it to go instead. 0/10 do not recommend!

Went to this restaurant after seeing it from youtube Vlogger Being Rocky. Amazing Service, beyond our expectations and the Son Randy is a humble person who made our visit an incredible experience. Robbery for mediocre food. The waiter randomly said everything was made to order. I know Guyanese New Yorkers well well well and and never knew you could make curry , chow mein and black pudding to order in 15 minutes. The chow mein smelled old and we didn't even bother eat it. Black pudding was good. Dhal puri was hard because they most likely microwaved it. If you're gonna do that and sell put it on low in the microwave with a wet paper towel. No we won't be back. Also they automatically charge you 15% gratuity on the bill. With a 3.9% charge for credit /debit. So if you're going to be brave and try this place anyway don't eat inside. And dont go outside because it is in a shady strip plaza area. Restaurant appeared neat inside.

The best West Indian/Chinese in all of Florida. I drive 2 hours just to pickup food from kaieteur. The wait time is sometimes long but that's because the food is always fresh and flavorful! Dave, Randy and the crew always come out to greet us and just have a chat, we are always welcomed like family! The food here never disappoints and I tell all my friends and family to check them out. Do yourself a favor and give Kaieteur tropical mist a try!

Took about 2 hours to be served. This was like worst experienxe I ever had at a restaurant. The food.was.far from guyanese.The chinese food tasted like american. The only thing that tasted like guyanese food was the black pudding, but it was stale. Needs a big upgrade. Sorry

Kaieteur's food is very good. We used to go to the one in NY so when we saw the one here, we had to go. They didn't disappoint. We ordered their food for my daughter's 16th birthday and everyone loved it. Their curry and roti is also very good.

Food is not too bad needs better prepare, Rice lumpy, chowmein soaking with sauce , Dahl puri roti don't have enough Dahl in it might as well be paratha roti BTW waiting for your order takes forever needs to improve service just saying don't take this review as negative but rather something to improve your business

The food here was delicious, the bread and food brought me nostalgia, the atmosphere brought me back to the homeland, and the service was bar-none. The selection of food, beverages, and pastries is extensive, to say the least. Give Kaiteuer a visit and lash a fried chicken and rice with a cold banks beer.

I was very Hastin in trying there food But OMG IT WAS THE MOST DELICIOUS, TASTING, MOUTHWATERING FOOD I HAVE EVER TASTED. There fried rice was so delicious and there chicken so mouth watering just melts in your mouth. A must go to place.

Normally the girl behind the counter really nice young lady ,my experience today the older man who answered the phone was rude ,then after I went 45 mins later to get my order he was rude I will never ho back there again I can cook my own food but just wanted to buy something different my bill would be over 40.00 but I guess my money is not important very rude old man fire him!!!!

The food here is is really good. And from my experience it was the spot. However, it's no longer. One they cranked up the price from 12 to 20 dollars and serving is much much less is not worth it any more.

Waited forever for 2 food, it's ridiculous especially on a weekend they are aware that business will be busy, especially doing this for a while. 2 orders should not take over 1 1/2 hr Disappointed ☹️ my family was not happy

We got there at 6pm and waiting at least an hour and half before dinner...there was only one waitress and dining room had at least 3 or 4 families waiting for food. We got our food and they checked on us...I asked for a drink and they forgot. They need to improve on their service and more staff on certain days.. especially weekends.

I would have given 4.5 stars, because the curry goat & lamb were on point. Everything was fresh & hot, and the veg in garlic sauce was just stir fried. Could be cut a bit smaller and more generous with broccoli & carrots. But the only real complaint was that they were out of dahl pourie. Really satisfied our cravings for some Trini-style curry. And PEARDRAX!

Worst dining experience ever. Arrived at 335pm for dine in. Ordered 4 meals, that took about 2 hours. Ordered 2 meals to go. Waiter said there was no water available, even though several cases of Smart Water in bottles were on a shelf in plain view. Left shortly before 730pm. This was definitely not a 4 or 5 course fine dining restaurant. Wouldn't waste my time again heading from just north of Orlando in that direction.

Very disappointing 😞. We traveled from Altamonte Springs to try this restaurant. When we arrived there were only 3 tables with customers. We ordered 5 dishes that took them 2 hours to get the food out to us. Then another hour before we got the check. They progressively got busier, the service was terrible. The young lady at the front counter didn't care when we told her how long we were there. She said sorry we're busy. Definitely not making this trip again.

Wonderful food, and hit or miss on the service. Plan on waiting awhile for food, even when not busy at all. 11-16-22 should figure a way to fix you restaurants Google information on "open" times. Especially since it's been over 2 months. Also an update on your store situation "due to the hurricane" would be nice for the public..

Online it says this restaurant is opened, after driving half an hour to get there it was closed because of hurricane damages. Someone should update their page.

Place is currently closed for renovations. Would be nice to have read that on your website.

I cant lie i love this place not only because the food is excellent an the portions are generous but because no one and i mean no one can bring the Spicy Heat like this place. Their Jerked chicken with fried rice is incredible. The Beef with Bora is a must try! The curried goat again will make you breathe fire if you choose but is still extremely tasty without spice if you don't like your food hot. Either way this is a best kept secret in Orlando. Oh yeah and to address those who complain that it takes time, yes their kitchen is a bit slow because they make everything from scratch..........just do what we do.............call ahead and then either dine in or take out. Still the best in town

My Hubby and son was in Orlando and the restaurant was recommended. He got me the chicken fried rice and yes I got the house pepper sauce as well and food was amazing. Will sure visit soon a little drive since Iive in Tampa.

So i drive from Tampa to Kissimmee for some guyanese food, came across this restaurant on goggle. Food was fine, i order the house special fried rice with with rice, u had the option of beef or lamb with it, i chose lamb, also came with shrimp. Chicken and crabmeat. While eating, i only found 4 pieces of lamb, and few crabmeat, 2 pieces of chicken and more shrimp than ever, cost. $18 😡. So not worth it, everything is over price, even a regular chicken fried rice. Won't even go back, my first time and not again. Why my food cost so much and there isn't even a proper amount of meat distribution.

After driving 3 hours was very disappointed in how meat was prepared I bought food at this establishment found alot of feathers on fried chicken my last purchased was on 6/4/2022.

I heard some stories about this place decided to try it out myself got to say it wasn't bad at all food was good service was good....... a follow-up review went back there today was told 2 hours wait which I didn't mind got there within 1hr 45 min my food was ready and they didn't charge for the pepper sauce food was good and the black pudding was on point let me tell you I kniw about pudding eh I drove all the way from lakeland for their food not bad needless to say this critic will be goin back for more...

Always the best guyanese food. I drove from Kissimmee all the way to holiday. And if was well worth it. It would be nice if they tell you the price after you placed the order. Lamb was red/pink inside. That's a no no for me.

Me and my family stopped here for dinner tonight and we all left very happy. We ordered the chicken fried rice, jerk chicken chow mein, tropical spicy chicken, the tropical fish and lamb curry. It was all very delicious and flavorful. I really appreciate how fresh everything was. Also, the staff is very inviting and courteous. If you're in the mood for some exceptional west Indian/Guyanese food, do yourself a favor and check out this place if you're in the central Florida area.

Straight to the point, most unsurpassed Guyanese restaurant in Orlando. The service is admirable and the food is delicious, this is the most enjoyable West Indian eateries I’ve had in years.

The entire staff had good spirits, our waiter/server had high energy and genuine care, and the food was well cooked and seasoned. Personal favorites are the roasted duck and jerk lamb. Don’t be hesitant to give this place a try.

Kaieteur has the best West-Indian Chinese food that I've ever had in my life. As a kid growing up in Trinidad and Tobago, I used to eat this kind of food all the time. I missed it so much that I would have to fly back sometimes for the West-Indies Chinese Food and the Trinidad KFC (If you know, you know). This food is so good that if my family came from Trinidad, I would take them to Kaieteur so they can see what THEY are missing out on here in America. Thanks to Kaieteur I don't feel like I'm missing out anymore. The food is throwing a fete and we are all invited. Some people complain about the wait time, but it's (a) not that bad and (b) worth it because the food is prepared fresh from scratch. You are getting the best quality food at a fair price with very generous portions. My favorite thing to eat at Kaieteur is their chicken fried rice, with half of a fried chicken. Make sure to ask for their in-house pepper sauce, made fresh every day. You will be happy that you did.

1st time visiting Kaieteur and let me tell you they did not disappoint! Everything was delicious! Spices were touching every pallete, music created a very great vibe, drinks were great, and the service was very personal and top notch! The owner came and out and had a great conversation with us. This family owned restaurant goes the extra mile to make sure you enjoy your time here. All I can say is that my family and I will be back!

Food is good as for the service, pack your patience. My only recommendations are clean the clutter from the front area, put some bright lights and please fry the chicken a bit more it has a boiled not fried texture.
