Key lime pie is exceptional. So good we needed to come back and grab more to-go

We had our wedding in Key West and were beyond grateful to have Kaya host our welcome dinner for family and friends. The food, atmosphere and hospitality were top notch. We had the back garden space with our own bar, dance floor, live music and plenty of seating. We had around 60 people ages 4-75 attend and everyone had a blast! One of the staff members even took photos for us! There are friends STILL talking about the food! The owner and staff went above and beyond to make part of our wedding weekend extra special! German is awesome! So friendly and attentive. We found everyone working here to provide incredible service. On top of that, this was our favorite meal that we have had in the last 2 days while visiting key west. Great food!

Rasta Pasta was some of the best Pesto I've ever had.

We were here for dinner with our family and Johana took great care of us. Good atmosphere and music, the day's catch was wonderful and everything was fresh. I recommend coming back

Have the wings. Legendary.. nice little bar with good food. A good old fashioned too boot, Key West style.

Highly recommend. Brandon, our bartender was awesome. I cannot say enough about the food. We went during Happy Hour and ate off the 1/2 price app menu. The apps were a meal for us and plated beautifully. Tuna Nachos were a 10! My husband had the Pork Sliders and said they were the one of the best he ever had. We look forward to heading back. heard alot of this restaurant for the few days we've been here and was a great! weren't quite hungry for dinner but was perfect for appetizers, had the poke nachos and conch fritters. never had conch before and was better then I thought. wife liked them too, that's a plus, knowing it's a sea snail lol

Great place to chill and enjoy some downtime in the heat. Tasty and interesting food options, spicy, fresh and fusion mix of Caribbean and island tastes. Nice staff too. Happy hour 4-6pm.

Came here cause of the reviews. Ingredients just aren't 4 Star quality. Feels like heavy bar food saving money a bit on the ingredients. Typical tasteless comercial tomatos. Burger flavor average or less, despiste advertising their custom grind. Grocery store bun. Not even sure what was going on with the slaw.

This place was great! Server was attentive, brought out sample drinks, and the food was GOOD!! Great vegan/vegetarian section on the menu. Mushroom pasta was to die for. We wanted to come back for dinner every night !

We only had time to stop at one place to eat today and we chose Kaya’s because of the rating. Well there’s a reason for it. The flavors we tasted today were some of the most unique and fantastic that I’ve had anywhere in the world. The conch fritters, killer Mahi tacos, key lime snapper, and exquisite key lime pie were out of this world. 10/10

Only had their legendary rasta pasta with chicken. Basically just yellow rice and beans and sprinkle some cinnamon on top of the chicken and called it jerk. If you were looking for authentic jerk, this ain't it. Nice venue and they have plenty of vegan options if that's your thing. response to the owner: Even worse then, because now it sounds like your staff screwed up my order. I definitely order the rasta pasta. probably skipped on the 39 different spices as well.

This was my favorite restaurant during my stay. I loved the food, service, and atmosphere.

We sat outside on a blistering hot and humid day and that was Only downside to this visit. The food and service were excellent. We enjoyed the coconut curry rice with chicken, the jerk chicken wings, blackened mahi mahi sandwich, and key lime pie. Highly recommend each of the things we had. We will definitely return to try other dishes.

Glad we went, but food and drinks were OK. The Pina Rita was very sour and undrinkable. Tuna nachos fab, Jerk wings arrived cold a minute after we ordered them. Beach burger delicious. Servers very friendly but busy, so not great service. Will not return!

Our server Mercedes was awesome always checking in to see if we needed anything. Now the food was amazing had the Bang Bang Mahi Mahi, coconut shrimp and conch fritter for happy hour they were great. Kaya's is a must for happy hour & dinner in Key West...

This is a fun place to eat! I had fish and chips, my wife had sliders both were good. The fries are awesome!

Absolutely the best food with a great attention to detail. The water had lemon and mint. It was so refreshing. I called ahead and a table for 6 was set up waiting for us. The rasta pasta was amazing and they had vegan options. 100% recommend!!

This restaurant is off Duvall and feels like it's in an alley way. You have to walk about half a block off Duvall and it was a bit unpleasant due to a urine odor just off Duvall, this is not the restaurants fault. Putting that aside, this little place had some of the best food we had in Key West. Note that it is all outdoor seating, lots of high powered fans to keep the air moving and they provide pitchers of ice cold cucumber and lemon water at your table.

Kaya on Duval is a reboot of Kaya Island Eats up the Keys at Bay Point. The Bay Point location was an expression of effortless sophistication and a wonderful dining experience. Fantastic food, spot on service, and the views were second to none. This current version oozes tourist trap. The surf-shop motif may be a throwback to another restaurant but the women’s bathroom was dirty and one toilet was clogged. I could excuse the ambiance & plumbing issues because well - it is Duval in KW - but the food was plated with more sauce than actual food. What a shame. Our server was wonderful and the atmosphere was what we expected on Duval but the food needs more attention. Had we never been to the Bay Point location we'd have received what we've always expected from Duval - underwhelming calories. But we expected more from Scott. I'm sorry to say we'll not be returning to Kaya on Duval.

I decided I could eat all of the 1pound burger! It was delicious but it beat me. Fantastic atmosphere and great menu! Going back for the fish and chips, it's meant to be one of the best on the island!

Amazing food, friendly staff and great vibe in their patio area. We were looking for Island style food and so glad we found this place. We ate at a different restaurant for every meal during our stay in Key West and this was our favorite.

I had an outstanding dining experience! The food was amazing, fresh, and served right on time. The service was impeccable, with Johana going above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. I popped in for lunch during a downpour after working in the morning and found this hidden gem while I was drying off with my tools. Staff was excellent and super friendly to puppies! The Key Lime cocktail was hands down my favorite! 🍋‍🟩💪

It's THE highlight of our stay in terms of dinners, it's very expensive but very good, beautiful address, don't hesitate.

Churasco is good but it’s not chimichurri…be forewarned

The food was delicious: every single item we ordered plus the non alcoholic drink we picked🥤 The fish tacos 🌮, tuna bowl the burger 👍, the tomato bisque the best I ever tasted.

Awesome experience. We had great service and the food is truly delicious. The owner made it even more special by coming out to make sure our food would be made how we desired and by also coming out to thank us before we left. Small things like that tells me all I need to know about a business. Our waiter was great and extremely attentive. I enjoyed the Rasta pasta with local catch of the day yellowtail snapper. We will returning here during our next visit to Key West.

Absolutely amazing. Rosalyn is a fantastic server, Scott, who owns the restaurant, is such a nice guy, and has a great establishment. Food is superb, best fish tacos on the island and quite possibly the Eastern US. Outdoor ambiance is second to none, felt like we were in Maui!! Great job Kaya, totally awesome! Update- Returned almost 3 years later and it’s just as good as it was we first went!! Totally a 5 star place.

Joanna was the absolute best!! and the food was to die for!! We had the jerk chicken wings and the Hawaiian pork sliders; they were SO good. The jerk chicken was even better than the jerk chicken I’ve had in Jamaica. My favorite dish we had was the Ya Man portobello sandwich. Every part was unbelievable and it was HUGE. I’m not sure how they make their sauces but I wish I had the recipe.. The drinks were also to die for, I had the Mai Tai and it was so refreshing.

Easy to see why this place has good reviews. Quick and friendly service was just the start to our best meal on the island! The jerk wings were the perfect appetizer, albeit a tad pricey it was worth it for the flavor. That flavor is also present in the Reggae Fish - our groups favorite dish. The jerk isn't to spicy and not sweet so it's perfect to compliment things like mango and goat cheese.

The food was really good and the staff were really nice. The restaurant is seat yourself, so just walk in and sit where you want. And there are bathrooms. I recommend it! 5☆!

The space is a bit small and unclean, but the food makes up for it. Really recommend the tomato soup and the mahi tacos.

Another great restaurant in KW for veggie choices! We ate outside in this cool place just off Duval Street, good choice of dishes, brilliant service and some good music, cheers!

Food was amazing! 1 vegan and 4 carnivores and everyone was happy. Our, server, Mercedes, was wonderful!

Our first meal on Key West and it was great. Our waitress was wonderful and friendly. Food was delicious. Came around 3pm on a Wednesday, so it was nice and empty. No wait. Had the option to sit in the outdoor covered patio or inside. We opted for the cool air conditioned interior. Ordered the Mahi mahi fish and chips, tuna poke nachos, and fried Mahi Mahi fish tacos. Fish was fresh and tasted great. For dessert had their famous key lime pie made fresh daily. I'm not a fan of key lime pie but had to have it here on Key West. The key lime pie here was sweet but not too sweet with a slight tartness. Very creamy and smooth too. It was very good. Our meal came out to be about $80ish. They do charge you an extra 2% fee if paying by credit card but it seems most restaurants do that down here if you're not paying with cash. Not a big deal for me but it was noted on the menu and the check so don't be surprised by it. Highly recommend Kaya Islands Eats if you're down here.

This place was the perfect ending to our trip. It really embraces the heart and soul of the island vibes of Key West. Fun was felt as soon as we walked in. From pinball, skeeball and arcade games to the nice separate karaoke bar area. It is great for all people with the outdoor dining and comfortable indoor air-conditioned seating. The owner and staff were great . He made sure my wife's birthday was special. All while we watched him pay attention and greet all the customers . We watched them seat a large party with ease. The food was on another level. Great flavors. The wings were amazing! The main course we all loved ...the star of the show....the homemade keylime pie. ABSOLUTELY THE BEST IN KEY WEST! Definitely a must visit spot while in town

Well poured drinks... very good food and great location. Indoor and outdoor seating. Jerk chicken and Chicken Sandwich were great. Coconut shrimp app was awesome. Would definitely return, after the humidity dies down a bit haha.

First off we were welcomed by everyone at the bar. Our server Carley, I believe is her name? was wonderful. She helped us decide on drinks that we were trying to pick from and used her esp to know we wanted key lime pie. We were going to go elsewhere to get pie because we just assumed it was frozen there. Carley just out of the blue told us about how delicious the Key Lime Pie is there and how it's home made even down to the cool whip and how we would love it. We decided to go for it and get a slice and that was the best decision we made all day. Their key lime pie is amazing! So glad we stopped in for lunch(thanks to a recommendation by a local).

Humbled by the hospitality. We walked in and there was a wait of about 20 mts to seat us together as we were a group of 11. While waiting we were engaged and entertained with karaoke and complementary appetiser. That gave a realisation into the quality of the food. Bang bang fish, Hawain kahula pork and signature asian catch were amazing. Definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Key West.

One of the best restaurants we have been to ever. The bang bang fish was unbelievable. So too the signature asian /Cajun catch. A lovely evening topped with great food and karoake. Highly recommended

This place became our #1 stop for food in Key West. Their happy hour is a STEAL and the food quality is top notch. Poke Nachos, BangBang fish, and the fish tacos were unbeatable. And the service has been stellar.

my friends and I came in 2 nights in a row for dinner and they were a little busy but nobody even greeted us either time. We stood by the door for a while the first night before we left and the second night we sat at the bar and got ignored for 25 minutes before we decided to eat somewhere else.

Great eats and nice staff! Sat at the bar and had great conversation with the bartender who recommended the Hawaiian Kahula Pork and Key Lime Catch. Both were tasty with big enough portions to take home and eat again. Great laid back vibe, nice scene to just stop and have a beer, too. Add to your list!

Excellent lunch spot after visiting Hemmingway House. Short 5-7min walk with cold beer on tap. The combination of flavors used on the jerk wings was so unique and delicious. Had the fish and chips and the reggae Fish. Both were fresh and prepared with tasty not to spicy seasoning. Would Def come again.

The best blackened shrimp tacos I’ve ever had. Drinks were fun and tropical, just what I’m looking for on vacation. Carmen was our server. She was attentive and helpful. We will be coming back every time we visit the keys.

I visited this place because of its incredible reviews, but honestly, the only dishes that stood out were the wings and the BBQ beef tacos. They were the only highlights, service was okay

The food was delicious and the female server was very attentive the lost stars was because the bartender failing to tell me the entrance on Duval street has indoor dining something he told two other groups that came after us. I could assume he was not diligent with us because of the color of our skin but I’ll leave that up for debate because if that is the case this will be exposed.

Wow! I’m one of the OG lovers of Kaya and I must say that it’s totally worth the hype. The first time I met Scott was in 2013. He is a wonderful person and an amazing chef. I recommend Kaya to all people - there is something for everyone. Service is amazing, great drink specials, and the culinary process is extraordinary. Prices are reasonable for what you’re getting and for being in Key West. If you like wings, get the jerk wings - they are better than any jerk wings I’ve ever had (and I’ve been to most of the islands in the Caribbean). They bring in great local artists for music too. Come by, enjoy a wonderful meal and drinks, and support a local team that gives back to the Keys!

Delicious fish tacos ! I’m super picky but these never disappoint

We went for lunch and drinks. The key lime pina colada was excellent but worth sharing as it's super sweet we also shared a Mai thai that was equally good. The fish tacos were awesome as was the jerk pasta w chicken. No a/c but ambiance was nice as it is key west in July it's hot even when there is a/c. Definitely worth a visit

We travel often and monthly, and this was hands-down the best food we’ve ever had. We experienced a wonderful fishing trip with soon to be known as “kilo whiskey charters”, captained by Anthony, and brought our freshly caught mahi-mahi to the chef here at Kaya. Our fish was served to us in a three course meal, all prepared with different flavors and textures. Absolutely amazing.

We are locals and love Kaya! This is our favorite restaurant hands down. Every-time we take our fresh catch they always cook it perfectly…. The bang bang style is amazing! Service is also the best in KW. Marvin is the sweetest and even brought out some treats for our pup Mack

Great food and excellent service.

Stopped at Kaya tonight on a whim, and it was legitimately one of the best meals I’ve ever had. We enjoyed the Jerk chicken wings, Rasta pasta with shrimp, killer fish tacos, and the signature Asian catch. Topped off with a slice of key lime pie and outstanding service, Kaya is off the charts. Highly recommend!

Food was very good. The service????? Not so much I honestly think we drew the short straw. The tables around us were getting fine service. He took our drink order and then disappeared for almost 30 minutes. It wasn’t until he saw us packing up to leave that he came back and asked us to stay. Then had to ask twice for my daughter’s Pepsi. He walked by several times without checking in on us even though we wanted more food/drink. Not sure if he is new or if the language barrier held things up. Our “quick lunch” took over 90 minutes

Delicious, fresh food & great drinks!

This was a little walk from our hotel. They were very busy when we showed up took about 10 min to get a table. They bring you out lemon, lime and basil water, and it is very refreshing. For food we started with the peel and eat shrimp and the tomato tower salad, bother absolutely amazing. As far as entrees we had the killer blackened fish tacos, blackened shrimp tacos, and the legendary Rasta pasta. Let me tell you this food was perhaps the best food I have had in quite sometime. The pasta was light and very flavorful, the fish tacos were full of flavor with plenty of fish, and the shrimp taco were packed full of deliciousness and had 4-5 large shrimp per tacos. I can’t recommend this place enough.

I had the Jamaican jerk portobellos and it was soooo good! The portion was too big for me to finish so my husband happily helped me out. Yummy Mai Tai to accompany it. Great services and atmosphere as well. We will be back!

Wow. What a little gem in Key West. Went on a recommendation from a friend and the reviews on Goggle Maps. Definitely worth the stop. A true "fusion" of Carribean, Latin, and American flavors. I had the Carne Asada tacos, and they did NOT disappoint. If you're in the area, swing by for great food,.drinks and music

Ordered the cuban pork roast, about 2 hours after eating it I began experiencing food poisoning symptoms. Vomiting up the pork. I don't recommend! I paid 70 dollars for my wife and I's meal just for me to end up with food poisoning. Also eating outside is a miserable experience, you will get harassed by giant flies.
