Great fresh seafood selection. We got the scallops for a planned dinner and they were a great size and cooked up perfectly. The shop also has great homemade fish dip, fresh seafood Chowder.

Bought 3 pounds of frozen shrimp. Broiled on the grill and it was the best ever!

Janet is the reason we were there every day of our vacation! She gave us a sample of her seafood chowder and we were amazed! The best seafood chowder ever!!!!!! We also bought black grouper and it’s the best fish that we have ever had! Everything that Janet prepares is absolutely delicious! Our vacation is over but we are already planning to come back next year just to come back and eat more delicious seafood chowder and fresh black grouper from Janet!

Collard greens had mold in them. Threw them away. They were too old. Everything else was great.

The best and freshest seafood in town. Oysters, stone crab, fresh fish (including hoggish), shrimp, plus fish spreads and anything else seafood you may want. Service is excellent and the place is always clean and well kept.

We have been stopping here for fresh shrimp for years. Always friendly and eager to share how to cook what we purchase. They are open every day. Google maps has incorrect open days.

On our way back home we saw a sign out front that said lobster roll and grouper sandwich, hit this spot & OMG I can’t believe we were here a week and didn’t get to go every day! The BEST lobster roll I’ve had, including in Maine! Everything incredible fresh & tons of regulars stopping in to get lunch & fish to cook while we were there. Will drive here anything I’m in St Pete area!

Very long wait. Food was okay, couldn’t say it was great. House salad was just lettuce with a few tortilla crumbles. We waited 45 minutes to get 2 in and then another 45 for our dinner.

Great local seafood, Stone crab is a must when in Season. The crabbing season usually starts in the beginning of October. Get all my fresh fish from here

We got stone crab claws from Key West Shrimp for a dinner with friends. They were super fresh and so yummy! We asked them to be cracked and it was all ready for us when we went to pick them up. I also got their seafood chowder. It’s so GOOD! Jake was the person I ordered from and he was also the one working when I picked them up. He’s so nice and very helpful. I’ve purchased fresh fish from them before as well. I highly recommend them.

These guys are awesome. They catch the fish you buy unlike other fish markets! Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. We will visit here every time we are in the area to stock our cooler full of the freshest fish.

Just found this place after being on the beach for years they have absolutely fresh sea food their seafood chowder is amazing it's all made there and fresh and if you want something special they will get you that too very nice people

The place smelled wierd. That should have been my first beware! Bought a pound of shrimp. Once we got home which was 5 minutes away and opened the bag of shrimp, the stench was overwhelming..I cannot believe that guy could not smell how bad they were!!!! Never again will i step foot in that place!!!!!

I cannot comment on the pricing, we were on vacation and wanted some fresh fish. They had some exceptional yellowfin tuna. Two very nicely sized pieces coming out at 2.5 lb

Super friendly, they catch the majority of what they sell in the market. Have some cool fishing videos on replay in the store. Also have shipping for tourists like myself. Delicious, fresh eats. Will shop again!

Pretty good selection and prices on seafood. I went with red grouper and shrimp and it made for one delicious dinner. I'll have to return next time I'm in town.

They have the best fresh caught fish! We bought the red grouper and stone crabs. They filleted the fish and cracked the crabs.

The shop feels kind of empty but the guy who was working there filled it up with talk and warmth! The scallops were amazing.

Wow! Where to start?! Get angry Dave's sallad, just donut and thank me later. All fish is delicious and super fresh, har shrimps, swordfish, tuna, and did I say Dave's sallad? As well as spices... Will miss this place when leaving the area.

Mask compliant, social distancing, and the best, freshest seafood around! Staff is super helpful. The Amberjack Fishspread is not to be missed. They have satellite stores in Gulfport and St. Pete Beach as well. Can't go wrong at any of the locations!

We stopped in on our way out of leaving Madeira beach, and picked up some crab cakes, and Salmon spread. Crab cakes were delicious, they had a lot of crab meat. The spread was so good.

Sorry this review is so late in coming. I placed a large order to be shipped to my family in West Virginia in October. This is the second time I have ordered from Key West Shrimp Company in Madeira Beach to be shipped out of state. This seafood market is exceptional not only for the quality of their product but also for their sustainable fishing practices. Their prices may be a little higher than other seafood markets in the area however it is definitely justified in the quality of the seafood you receive. Their fish is freshly line or spear caught, local, and of the highest quality. You never have to worry about any type of chemical treatment, old product, or the Frozen garbage you get at the grocery store Seafood sections. The seafood market hands down is the best in the area. I would not hesitate to recommend this Market to any fresh seafood lover.

If you want fresh caught seafood this is the place you need to go. Always a great selection of grouper, snapper, shrimp, oysters and so much more. The staff is friendly and will help you decide and cut and skin fish to order. They have some great fish dip in the cooler also.

I am very happy I discovered this seafood shop! Josh is very personable and knowledgeable, I grilled a beautiful piece of faroe salmon that was just out if this world delicious!! I am definitely a repeat customer, over and over in the future. Fresh fish selection from the Gulf, beautiful shrimp......yes, definitely worth a stop!

These ppl sell fresh seafood, lots of kinds. They are friendly, my only complaint is that their prices are a bit high. That said, I'm not a local and don't know the cost of things. Anyway, four stars is as high as I can go.
