The food is worth a trip. Accessibility is not the greatest because of location. Definitely a go to if you are already near by.

Amazing food! Best bacon cheese fries I’ve ever had. If you sit outside you can enjoy the boardwalk and the water.

On our last day of vacation, my wife and tried Lobster Roll for the first time and we chose Boardwalk Grill. It was excellent. Our crew loved all the food here. We’ll be back.

The "store front" may be little. The menu is even in size. What is NOT small. is the breakfast we had yesterday morning. Ms. Isabella (I hope I got your name right?) was so very pleasant and. attentive, and not overly so...a beautiful, friendly smile to welcome us. Now the food I thought would be a fairly small breakfast of 2 eggs and 2 sides, came out in a portion that could have satisfied any hungry person and have some. left over. The cook / chef brought. them out to the table. and. the. meal was still steaming. How amazing was that? the mela was still steaming and delicious. Give it a. try.

I am not a seafood fan so the menu was right up my alley. I loved the bacon cheese fries. The fries were real potatoes and it was large enough for two plus some. We got the Philly cheese steaks and they were delicious. They were shaved rib eye pieces with cheese. Next time I will ask for extra cheese but still no complaints, I added my own bacon cheese fries to it. I will be back to try more menu items. Roughly $10 each. I loved the small atmosphere and appreciate that there is a restaurant that has other options than seafood (I know, I know cut me a break). I loved the vibe, the staff, and the music.

Lobster roll was amazing Onion rings are amazing thick large salty delicious crust! The Philly was guess what it was?? AMAZING!!! The cook was great and so affordable!

The best place where to eat when you’re around Johns Pass/ Madeira Beach. Third time here, everything we had was very delicious and super fresh.

Lobster rolls are worth every penny. Great staff,owner is a fantastic gentleman. Very clean and indoor air conditioned seating to escape the brutal Summer Sun.

Great hole in the wall place right on the boardwalk! Sometimes there’s a wait because of the size. They sell alcohol and I really like their breakfast!

Had a great, relaxing time here! It’s right on the water and you get to watch people jet ski and all of the boats go by. The staff here were very friendly and our waitress was on top of it! We got shrimp and chicken tacos, fried pickles, and the lobster roll. All were delicious!

What a pick with this restaurant! What a great find! Got the grouper po boy, my wife got the classic Philly and added onions and banana peppers. We shared four onion rings and a large fry with cheese! Best meal we’ve had here yet and super affordable! Make sure to get their ranch with the onion rings!

We can’t say enough good things about The Boardwalk Grill! First of all, Jeremy, from Free Beach Ride, told us to come here (highly recommend FBR, too!) and he did not disappoint! The Boardwalk Grill has the most delicious grouper- we had grouper tacos and grouper fish and chips - SO delicious and the prices are so affordable! We also had the fried Oreos and fried pickles- so crispy and delicious! We can’t wait to come back, and we hope we will have Aurora as our server again, she was wonderful!

We brought our fresh catch in from a charter yesterday and the staff prepared it for us it’s was absolutely delicious. Fish tacos and fresh fried mangrove snapper. We really enjoyed the meal and service Thank you!

My husband had his first ever lobster roll here and he LOVED it! I had the shrimp tacos and they were probably the best I’ve ever had!

It's a tiny waterfront place but incredible food and HUGE portions!! Staff was really friendly. There's some seating outdoor like two booths and maybe a table and then indoor but it's really tiny.

Fried pickles 5/5 Chicken Nachos 3/5 Onion rings 4/5 Parmesan Fries 1/5 Lobster roll 0/5 Came specifically for the lobster roll and it was so disappointing. They say it’s award winning but it was the blandest lobster roll I’ve ever eaten. Pickles and onion rings were really good and crispy, nachos were basic but good flavor. Service was great, it’s a small place and they had one waitress that handled the crowd pretty well.

Drove 2 hrs from Mount Dora, Fl to try this Master Lobster Roll. Definitely did not disappoint!! I would do the drive again, the lobster roll was definitely worth it. The only bad thing is the parking, paid $33 to park for 2 hours.

Left waiting to take our order after watching everyone after us get their order taken so we waited long enough to the point where we just got up and left! Horrible service.

The fries are amazing. We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon needing a table for 8 with a highchair and they accommodated us quickly and we were all able to sit together. Really great service.

They arent a big place be patient and prepared to wait on busy days. The drinks aren't great more like juice. The onion rings, jalapeños poppers and mozzarella sticks were filling. The Philly was big but greasy and not much flavor. i am use to more flavor back home. We heard the staff bragging on the lobster roll so we ordered one. we left with a small blain roll that cost us $27. Definitely not what we expected for the top 15 roll in the country. I must of had the top 3 in the past.staff was nice.

This place was amazing for breakfast!! We took a quick anniversary trip to the area and were looking for a good breakfast spot upon arrival. This spot was suggested and it DID NOT disappoint!! The French toast and the French toast sandwich were 🤌🏿🤌🏿🤌🏿

Great night times 2! We ate at the Boardwalk Grill on our first and last nights of our stay on Treasure Island. Aurora our server both nights was exceptional. Warm, attentive and professional service! The grouper sandwich(grilled) was delicious and well portioned. The fried shrimp were tasty as well. On the last night I ordered the lobster roll. It was as advertised , next level good! Drinks and sides (Cole slaw, fries, onion rings) finished it off perfectly. Big thanks to the Aurora and the team at The Boardwalk Grill!

Listen, it’s not often you come across food this good. I had the lobster roll and for once in my life I slowed down, enjoyed each bite and let the symphony of flavor, play in my mouth. It was so well balanced with the crispy bun, fresh lobster and just a hint of butter. Delightful. Aurora was our server; she was attentive, funny, made great recommendations and made the experience top notch. An absolute must stop while venturing on the boardwalk!!

Great staff and vibing tunes. 3 words to describe the grouper nuggets: yum, yummy, yummiest! The "dang screwy" sauce is dang good! I figured out the recipe... to be continued...

Great food at great prices! They also have outdoor seating on the boardwalk which is too good! We loved sitting by the water and enjoying a meal. 5 stars!

Our favorite place to eat in Madeira beach! We ate here twice for dinner on our trip, almost three! Hands down our favorite meals. The atmosphere was nice and quaint, our server was amazing and she always made sure we had exactly what we needed, and the food was absolutely delicious. Philly cheesesteak was the best I’ve ever had, the lobster roll was fantastic and fresh, the burger was hot and juicy, and the FRIES were great both regular, but especially the bacon cheese fries. Will absolutely be back next time we’re in town!

We got there 855pm 5 min b4 closing, the lady was too nice, she didn't bat an eye (i thought they closed at 10) and was happy to serve us outside, someone else even came after us and she served them too!

We got there when they opened at 10am and had breakfast and cocktails. Extremely reasonable prices and the food was good. You also can't beat the atmosphere!

Ordered a board walk burger and fries, my family visiting from canada had the fish and chips . Service and food was excellent and our server Aurora was sweet and delightful. I always take my friends there because the food never disappoints!

Great little lunch or dinner spot for a quick meal. Not real fancy, but just what you need. I had the lobster roll and it was very good.

The food was Uber greasy. They had one young lady serving while the other one semi cleaned tables and so helped out. Took a while to get Bill and food because of service but the kitchen is fast. If you don't have much experience with greasy food, then go to experience it here

Aurora was fantastic as a server, super friendly. The fish tacos were delicious and affordable. Restaurant was cold as ice, but that's my only gripe. Would go again for sure.

Great place to stop for lunch. Host was on top of taking reservations and friendly despite being a small restaurant and a busy spring break week, waitress was great, nice table outside with view and all food was good (Philly cheesesteak, fried pickles, fish tacos and bacon cheese fries).

Didn't know what to expect with this little boardwalk stop but they didn't disappoint at all, service was good and the food was great.. I'll go again

Lobster roll was amazing! Philly cheesesteak was the best Philly I’ve had since leaving the north east. Fries and cheese were to die for. Everything we had was amazing and delicious.

Everything was overcooked- Clams burgers and over seasoned. Especially the fries. I love fresh cut fries but not coated in bay seasoning.

We were very disappointed in the grouper sandwich. It was well done & so hard to chew. We have had grouper all around this area & its been great but this was so hard to chew & nothing like all the other places we have been to. I normally would never give a bad review but people should know not to waste their money at the Boarwalk Grill!

Sat outside (it had been raining earlier so it was a bit quieter than normal). Our waitress was very atttentive and friendly. We had prawns in breadcrumbs, and grouper fish & chips. The grouper was very good, and the chips delicious. Everything is served on paper/plastic (nothing fancy here). I found out afterwards that I could've had grilled grouper, but it wasn't on the menu.

Neat place but my shrimp was overcooked..would give it another try..the wait staff was outstanding.

My partner and I came here during our vacation in February and for being just a small little shop, the food and service were amazing! Will definitely come back again if ever we're in John's Pass again!

Good, not great. Grouper sandwich was pretty, but uneventful. Grilled grouper tacos were $16.99 for literally three fairly flavorless tacos. Philly cheesesteak was plentiful. Shrimp basket was sad and later turned my kid’s stomach. Dinner for 5 that included kids meal and no booze ran over $100. It was essentially cafe lunch food for dinner. Server was wonderful. See no real reason to return.

This place is perfect! The wait staff was super friendly and made our time at The Boardwalk Grill even better. The food was also exceptional, we can't stop thinking about how good the fries and PO' Boy were. We'll definitely be back when at John's Pass.

Too many good sit down seafood restaurants with friendly staff to waste your money and time with this place! We went in for the first time yesterday and the guy at the counter rudely screamed "go stand outside and someone will come talk to you". There was no one standing at the counter. Everyone was seated at a table. A couple that was leaving commented about how rude the guy was to us. Never again!! Wahoo's on Redington has fresh caught seafood with friendly service and they have the best prices in the area. Take your hard earned money where it's appreciated!

Best chicken tacos I have ever had! The sauce they put on them was amazing! The Philly Cheesesteak my husband had was great! Horseradish sauce was fantastic!! We will be coming back for more delicious food soon!! YUMMY!!!

Being from the Mid-Atlantic, I didn't expect to find a good Philly cheese steak in such a touristy area of Florida (of all places) but it was fantastic. Wife had the grouper tacos and they were just ok.

Th shrimp po boys were yummy (loved the sauce) and my kids enjoyed their meals! The location is also fun. However, the staff didn't seem tooconcerned with service. No refills, checking on us etc. Could have been an off day though.

Got the fish and chips. It was pretty good but not fantastic to me but my wife really liked it. But the service was good. Nice atmosphere by the water, everyone was nice. You get a good size meal for you money. I would go back!

My husband and I both got the lobster roll. I got a side salad and put the lobster on it, that was actually a pretty good way to do it. The lobster roll wasn’t my favorite. I felt like it needed more sauce or butter maybe. My husband, however, really liked it. The bread was good. We also got the fried pickles and holy smokes were they good! Best we’ve ever had by far! The beer batter was insanely good. Definitely recommend those.

Great little place on the water boardwalk they have amazing lobster rolls, Philly cheesesteak, onion rings, and grouper tacos. Highly recommend stopping! Small little mom and pop shop. Get the fried Oreos after as a desert. 🤌

The best lobster rolls in town. And absolutely the best grouper nuggets, they are fried to perfection nice and crispy but so juicy inside and perfectly seasoned. Fries that are freshly cut and fried right there. The place is a small shack with great service and outstanding food. Go and eat you won't be disappointed.

The burgers were great. Good fries. Fish tacos nope. Did not finish them. Drinks were N/A or close. For being in an area where there is so much competition disappointed.

Grouper nuggets were especially good, fresh and hot. Be careful, I burned the roof of my mouth. Onion rings were excellent. Liked the horseradish sauce with the onion rings. Side salad good. Didn't care for their "dang screwy" sauce. It was sweet and didn't go with the fish well. The tartar sauce could use improvement. Overall good place. Loved the grouper.

Kind of a nondescript atmosphere...small establishment with few tables, but don't let that turn you off! Excellent food, prepared quickly & wonderful service.

These guys are so proud of their restaurant and food. We had everything they recommended and it was wonderful. Lobster roll was amazing, cheese steak was authentic and the cod sandwich was large! The onion rings were good, but the fresh cut fries stole the show. Thanks for the welcome dining room and the fun time

We stopped in with 12 people (8 kids even) on a slow night and no one blinked an eye. Food was on point. Lobster roll and po'boy were the highlights but the speciality smothered fries were a hit with the kids. Small, home town place and we'll be back.

I saw the 4.7 stars and had to try this place out. Service was really good, the place was clean, but me and my two family members had wayyyy too much breading on our onion rings, fish n Chips, and clam strips. My fish breading was thick and soggy, I picked out the fish. The fries were hard and not cooked right. Unfortunately, it wasn’t worth the $20 for the fish n chips, although the fish inside was fresh. Maybe try out a sandwich or something not fried 🤷‍♂️

Everything was legit! Most of us had the lobster rolls, and they were STUFFED and delicious. The flavor was great, the meat was tender, and the buttered toast roll was awesome. The fries, onion rings, and fried pickles were all great options. This is about to become a regular spot for us!

The best restaurant ever. They have good Fry's with old bay . Shrimp tacos are amazing. The staff was nice. Five stars.
