Great service and delicious food !

Food is amazing! Willy is amazingly nice and hospitable.

We got the vegetarian platter, the aloo gobi, the malai kofta and garlic naan. It was all incredible and the best indian food I’ve ever had. Service was impeccable.

Willie was such a gracious waiter and host.

Everything was amazing. Food was top tier. Atmosphere was perfect. Great place for a nice date or just an amazing dinner.

The food quality and service have been consistently top notch since my wife and I started coming in a few months ago! The food is great, whether it’s the buffet or takeout, but we make an effort to dine in when we can due to how great the service is from the staff members. They really make you feel comfortable and at home!

Kohinoor exceeded our expectations with its warm ambiance and authentic flavors. The Samosas and Paneer Tikka were the perfect starters, bursting with spices and freshness. The Butter Chicken was creamy and rich, while the Vegetable Biryani was aromatic and flavorful. The naan was fluffy and perfect for dipping, and the Raita added a refreshing touch. The staff was friendly and attentive, making our dining experience exceptional. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a true taste of India!

Had the buffett today. Very solid. Goat Curry was excellent as was the Tandoori. Butter chicken was just okay today but it's the buffett. Effecient and very pleasant service. Excellent lunch option. Actual inside dining ambiance is limited. Will be back

Update: This afternoon, we took our son, daughter-in-law and daughter to Kohinoor for the lunch buffet. Our daughter had taken her Dad there for Father's Day and raved about it, so we all wanted to try it. WOW! We are glad we did! There was an incredible variety of food on the buffet and everything was freshly prepared, cooked perfectly and so, so delicious!! The service was impeccable. The personal attention always given by the manager is a special touch. Please do yourself a favor and try the lunch buffet. You will be so happy you did. The tastes, the smells, the variety is unsurpassed quality! Tonight we were reintroduced to Kohinoor. We had a wonderful dinner and Willy and Ivo delivered impeccable service! Although we were frequent diners to Kohinoor, this was our first time back since 2020. We started with samosas, my husband had chicken tikka masala, I had chicken korma, we shared a channa masala and pershwari naan. The chicken was cooked perfectly and very tender. The spices were just the way we ordered. Not only is the food very delicious, but the restaurant is very clean. All of the ingredients for a perfect night out. We will definitely be back!

We had an impromptu dinner and it was the best choice!!! The service (Willy) was impeccable and the recommendations on the food and spice levels were spot on. We enjoyed chicken makhani and lamb korma, butter naan and the vegetable appetizer was delectable. We will definitely be back and Kohinoor will be a part of our regular favorites going forward!!!🥰

Visited with my wife and was greeted warmly from the front door. Everyone was attentive and suggested great options. We tried several lamb & chicken dishes. This was just a great choice this evening. Glad we came. Willy and his team helped out and I’m leaving with a smile.

This is by far the best Indian restaurant in the area of Apopka/Altamonte/ orlando. It is like being invited to a family home for lunch or dinner. The staff and owner goes over and beyond to make you feel welcome. The food is AMAZING 😻 it is a must visit for sure. There is a lunch buffet but you can also order from menu, honestly you can’t go wrong with either choice. The ambience sets the mood for family dining, date night or just casual nice dining. You could also have business lunches or celebration meals at this restaurant 🥰if you love Indian food or have always wanted to try it .. this place should be on your list

I was craving spicy food and ordered a 10 spicy butter chicken, but it was more like a 4. Waiter said they can go higher so I'll try that next time. Texture, temperature, and flavors were on point and service is excellent.

The food and the service was wonderful, but the atmosphere left something to be desired. When we first sat down, there was no music playing, and then background music came and went throughout dinner. Also, there weren't many people there for a fri night. The price was a little high, but not terrible. Overall, the experience was pretty good, and I would recommend it to friends. Will return to try the lunch buffet sometime.

My sister has always raved about this place and it’s been on my list to check out. Today I was finally able to go for the lunch buffet so I could try a bunch of different options. The food was all delicious (from both vegetarian and non vegetarian perspective) and the staff was so kind and very attentive. Definitely recommend!

Came here for their lunch buffet, and it was a delicious quiet meal. Very few customers and variety of tasty foods led to a nice lunch. The servers were quick to refill a glass and take care of customers, while every table is provided with piping hot fresh naan. The server mentioned that the buffet has a rotating menu, but today's shahi paneer and chicken biryani were items that I thoroughly enjoyed and got seconds of.

Extremely bad taste…one of the worst Indian food I had in USA. The samosa was definitely frozen one, shahi paneer gravy seemed like they blended grass and cardboard …no taste at all. Onion kulcha had a very smelly onion filling, garlic nan had too much garlic to the extent of making it inedible. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

What an amazing find!!! Stopped here for the lunch buffet and it was delicious. Everything was fresh and well prepared.

This place is one of the best Indian restaurants around. Had the lamb curry Indian hot my go to. Fish korma,Saag Paneer, cheese nan and garlic nan. All around delicious with good flavor. Only thing is the Indian hot to me was more like medium or regular hot.

I ordered take out on Uber eats and let me tell you everything that I ate from this place was absolutely delicious I had the butter chicken with garlic naan bread and the veggie samosas I wasn’t too crazy about the dipping sauces but overall everything was hot and fresh the portions were good as well I felt like I was sitting in India eating this rich yummy meal I can’t wait to go there and try other items you must try it 10 out of 10 I recommend for sure you won’t be disappointed at all

my boyfriend brought me here once so i could try indian food for the first time and i am so glad that this place was my first experience. the food is amazing. the staff has amazing customer service. willy is especially friendly and just all around a delightful individual. i will definitely be back.

Since moving to Florida form New Jersey a little over a year ago, I've been searching for my new Indian food spot. This place would be my 6th attempt at trying new Indian restaurants to try and find "the one." From the second we walked in to the second we left we felt like family. The staff was super friendly and welcoming not only to my wife and I, but also to our two kids. They were asking them questions and making them feel like they were apart of the dining experience as well, not just my wife and I. The prices are super comparable to any other Indian restaurant in a 25 mile radius, but where this place stands out is their dedication to fresh, bold flavors. We started out with the kohinoor special appetizer which comes with a plethora of different delectable bites packed with flavors of fresh spices and herbs. I don't like lamb and the little lamb kebabs that came with the appetizer might have been my favorite bite of the night. The chicken tikka was the most tender, moist and delicious chicken tikka I've ever tasted. It had a great char from the tandoor but still held its juicy integrity. Everything came to the table super hot and clearly heated up on the stovetop or in the fryer, not put in a microwave like 80% of the restaurants these days. For our mains we just got two orders of the chicken tikka masala, not only because it was a safe bet but because we had our kids and we know they would like it. The one issue I constantly find with chicken tikka masala's is that the sauce is either too creamy or too spiced. This sauce was the perfect balance of tomato, cream and spices, nothing in this dish over powered the other. I can't stress this enough, WILLY IS THE BEST WAITER MY FAMILY AND I HAVE EVER HAD. He's super sweet and friendly and was playful with our kids, he was interacting with them and asking them questions. My son asked him for some candy and Willy made sure that our son asked mommy and daddy before we gave him some. Even if the food sucked, which it did not, we would come back just to say hi to Willy. We will be back many times before we move away. A must try in the Casselberry/ Altamonte Springs area.

Willy our host is exceptional! Very welcoming, attentive and friendly. The restaurant is clean. Food is delicious, with their fresh baked nan bread adding a nice complement.

Great vibe, great food! Most interesting thing was the chutneys that accompanied the food - mint chutney and tamarind chutney The seekh kebab is a must. Review is incomplete without a mention of the amazing and humble service. Thanks to Ivo, he was so polite and attentive. Will visit again for sure

Absolutely incredible food, my favorite restaurant without a doubt. The service was profound as well and a superb environment for a great dinning experience, from the art to the seating it all ties together. Me and my wife were curious about their Goan dishes and were delighted to find out that’s the state in India from which the lovely people of Kohinoor are from. Super excited to take our kid here once they are old enough to eat.

This was my first time eating in an Indian restaurant and it was the most amazing experience! The host at the door Ivo was soo nice! I had the lamb samosa, butter chicken, rice and garlic naan ! I will definitely be going back for the all you can eat buffet lunch to try everything else I wasn’t able to try tonight, if I could give 10 stars I would 😊

For anyone that hasn’t tried Indian Food be prepared to go on an adventure of a life time where you have so much flavor and history in every bite. The blends and Combinations of spices and herbs will leave you a different person wondering what else I must have in my stomach. Willy is and will every be remembered for giving me the boti kabab and masala as my first dish in Indian cuisine. 20 out of 5 stars

I love this place. Food is so good. Service is excellent. I’ve done both dinner and their buffet lunch. Price is reasonable. Im not vegan but my friend I’ve gone with both times is - they were so attentive and helpful with what was/wasn't vegan. I was impressed how much of a priority they made it.

Willy was a great waiter. Food was fantastic. My husband has avoided Indian restaurants due to the lack of authentic butter chicken. This restaurant made him believe in Indian restaurants again! Butter chicken and the lamb kabob marsala were top notch! The garlic naan and butter naan took the taste spectrum over the top! And we had plenty to take home for another meal!

Wonderful experience. Came for our one year anniversary, and really enjoyed the food and the service.
