tacos are amazing ! but they took the phone off the hook no answer from anyone !!! had to go in person to order a huge meal for my event and wait while they sat on their phones and didn’t have any business inside

This restaurant is truly wonderful. The owners are so kind and personable, the food is amazing, and the atmosphere is very nice. I highly recommend their street tacos, rice and beans. Their chips and salsa is great, also! Overall amazing experience. I will come here often!

First time going there last time I will ever go back the lady didn't pay attention to my order it was my birthday she totally didn't hear anything I said but listen to what my man said and made sure that he had his food the food was disgusting

Absolutely awful service, rude and messy management. Got three separate stories on an order I placed, and then the girl who we were talking to was not understanding at all, was borderline condescending and walked away without even apologizing. How can you tell me that you don’t know what I’m talking about when I have the call logs? On top of this we’ve had many other terrible experiences, save your money, time and sanity. Will never get a dime back out of me. Suggest hiring better staff.

I eat here every time I come through town! I consider myself a Mexican food connoisseur, and I'm telling you, this is the best... a local favorite too

Great experience! I was driving across the state back home from a job and needed to eat. I always love a good taqueria for healthier options to fast food. The cashier was so sweet and friendly. I ordered the combo, 3 chorizo tacos, rice and beans plus a drink. The food was amazing and authentic - just the way I like it. Glad I stopped by!

I had an excellent experience here, The food was truly outstanding, with flavors that exceeded my expectations. The staff were incredibly kind, making me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. I had a fantastic conversation with the cashier, adding a personal touch to the visit. Highly recommend this place for both the delicious food and the warm, friendly atmosphere!

Absolutely awesome food, great selection and super affordable. I think this is probably the best lunch spot in Okeechobee. Can't wait to take my family there for dinner.

2 years ago the food was great. The hot sauces had a good flavor. All of the food was amazing. But as I recently went the food was very disappointing the sauces were very spicy that you couldn’t even taste any flavor to it. The beans were spoiled they had an unpleasant smell and taste to them. The small grilled onions where not cooked all the way only the outer layer was cooked, I also had grilled potatoes that where under cooked. Everything was bad . I won’t go back there ever again.

Chips and salsa is amazing and the steak tacos are sooooo good! Everyone that works there is so sweet

This place deserves a higher rating. So glad we stopped here while driving through town for lunch. My chicken tacos (corn tortillas) were flavorful, the salsa is really good and we liked the crispy tortilla chips. My husband loved his chicken tamales. We ate in the patio since we had our pup with us which was pleasant. Service was great and food came out quick. Definitely a great spot!

Hits the spot every time. Every meal I've had there hasn't failed me. And anytime a friend visits me here in okeechobee. It's the spot I take em when they ask what's good around here. I'm fairly new here myself

This place is so under rated!!! The place is cute it's almost like a fast food place with a Mexican restaurant twist. They give u chips and salsa. I ordered the taco salad wich was amazing and the amount of food was incredible! This was my first time here and so glad I tried it. I will be back!!!

The food was very bland. Tasteless and had to add hot sauce for flavor. As for service, you order at the register. The only service is when the girl sits the plates on your table. If you are hungry, it's okay to stop here. If you are looking for taste, keep looking. Not a return visit place for us.

Reasonably priced. Friendly service. My wife wanted the pescado & carne taco she loved it. Their cucumber lemonade was good as well. Thank you!

I am new in town and wanted to test how the food. I ordered a simple carne asada taco which packed with meat and delicious. I will be back and order way more food soon. Highly recommended. Scott

Amazing people , amazing food and so reasonably priced. They explained the menu in great detail. I took the special ( 2 tacos with rice and beans on the side . The tacos were so good that me and my daughter ordered 4 more that we shared. I will go back and highly recommend if you're looking for good Mexican food

Best food I’ve had this side of the Mississippi!

My family and I will not be back. The prices have increased and the food quality has gone way down. It cost way too much for some little - tiny tacos that did not taste good at all. Nothing in our plates was good. Things were either what seemed to be stale or were soggy and had no taste. Very disappointed.

Great food, the chefs know what they are doing when it comes to Mexican food. If I'm being honest, it's wayyy above average food, the tacos are great and the beans and rice don't taste "generic" if you know what I mean. Great service and they are fast.

Best Mexican restaurant, near me Okeechobee Florida

We had quesa Birria catered for my husband’s birthday and it was phenomenal. Staff is extremely kind, courteous, and accommodating. And the food was outstanding. Thank you!

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Informative and kind. You get a great quantity of food and the ability to mix and match with certain combos. Chips were tasty and also a nice addition to eating. The meat was a not very spicy or flavored which I can imagine the masses prefer. I felt the meat was not that tender or flavored.

It still isn't real Mexican food!

Went here for lunch with my family food was very good no complaints. The manager even came over and gave my kids ring pops great place.

Nice clean place. They didn't have menudo or chicken soup or the fried fish we wanted. The Tacos were delicious but not what we went for.

These good people helped me when I needed. Plus, great food great hospitality. So pleased to have frequented this place many times in need. Still paid for everything as it was affordable.

Unassuming restaurant with amazing food.

Very good flavor on their food and also very nice restaurant the only think I would like for them to improve is that some of their food is a little bit salty and the cucumber and lemon juice is a little bit sweet for my taste but other than that everything tasted good and fresh.

Love their homemade taco shells and chips. Reminds me of my favorite taco place back home.

My boyfriend and I were in Okeechobee a couple months ago and decided to stop here for the first time after finding it online. He is Mexican and from Los Angeles, where some of the best Mexican food is. Let me start by saying…this is by far the BEST birria tacos I’ve ever had. Birria de res will never cut it anymore for me after having La Cabaña’s birria de chivo. The flavors of the birria were amazing and it was so juicy. The consommé was delicious and the tortillas were literal perfection. They were soft inside with a crisp layer outside. My bf said it was easily in his top 3 and possibly #1 for birria tacos and it took the #1 spot for me. You ever have tacos that are so good that after you take the first bite, you have to stop and contemplate how you ever could’ve liked any other taco before? Yeah…that’s what happened when we tried the birria tacos here. Because everything was so good, we decided to get a few different tamales to take back home for later. They were also delicious. We live about 1 1/2 hours away from Okeechobee and will drive there just for La Cabaña’s birria de chivo tacos. Thank you for the delicious food and great service.
