Excellent in all the service, exquisite food, reasonable prices...the place is beautiful, the only thing I think is that it lacked music to liven up the atmosphere a little more, the music always gives a touch of romanticism and even more so if it is live ...maybe there is and I didn't find out, for it being a Friday one expects that touch, otherwise everything is delicious. Thank you

The fettuccine in the parmigiano wheel (cheese wheel pasta) was delicious! Highly recommend for the food! Service could have been better. 9 servers and not one refilled our waters or our glasses of wine.

We celebrated our anniversary at La Casa Della Pasta Friday night. In a word it was delightful! The restaurant was full, which means there is a following. However, their attentive service makes you feel like you're their only customer! Calamari, Peach Bellinis, Pescatore, Chicken Marsala, Rigatoni w/Bolognese and a lovely bottle of Chianti were all delicious. We will be back. Thank you Mara and Franco for being so consistent in all that you do!

We had been there several times, the last time was for the 4-course menu paired with wine. It was expensive but amazingly delicious.

Horrible, inexperienced waitressing. Small, overpriced portions. This is a shame to Italian food. They overcharged me and they stare at you the entire meal. They forgot our beverages, calamari was undercooked, we had about 10 different waitresses, and had to ask for everything. Portions are extremely small. Will never be back.

This is a wonderful restaurant. The food is outstanding and the wine list is very good. The service and staff are fantastic and well staffed - increasingly rare these days. It's obvious that the owners take care of their staff because we see familiar faces when we return. We most recently did one of the occasional wine dinners and it was fantastic. This is a gem.

Food is good but nothing to knock your socks off. Great service. Went with 5 other people for a friend's birthday celebration. This is the first restaurant that I have ever been to that when we quit spending money, they asked us to leave. Said had a reservation for another party of 6 and needed our table. Had a bunch of empty tables and some that could have been pushed together to accommodate a party of 6. What would they have done if we had ordered desert and an after dinner bottle of wine? Don't recommend unless you keep spending your money.

Went out with family friends for a nice dinner and we are so glad we chose here. Amazing food, great service, wonderful experience.

While visiting for the weekend, we had our first dinner at La Casa delle Pasta and we will be visiting again. The calamari, Fettuccine in Parmigiano Wheel, and Tiramisu were all amazing. We had a larger party and all the plates looked delicious (entire party loved their meals). Top off the food with the amazing staff and servers that took care of our party ( Fiona and Ren), we had a wonderful experience!

I am a former employee of Casa del la Pasta and I just want to forewarn anyone who may be interested in working here as a server before they waste their time and given the run around. The owners of this establishment believe that they don’t have to follow the law when it comes to paying servers and TIPPED employees a “tipped employee wage” I refer to the Florida statue 448.109. You need to pay tipped employees an hourly wage. This establishment has been getting by without paying these hard workers any hourly wage at all. I strongly suggest the owners take heed of this warning. I have already notified the US department of labor: labor and wages division about this clear violation which will result in HEAVY civil fees and back pay to any and all employees who follow suit in this civil dispute. If you also have worked/work at this establishment and want to get in on this class action lawsuit, just comment and I’ll reach out to you. I don’t want to get myself fired I still work here. People stay away from this place.the food is good BUT they’re screwing over people who don’t know any better. It doesn’t matter if you make $30 an hour in tips. IT IS THE LAW.

La Casa della Pasta truly exceeded our expectations on Mother's Day! Despite usually being closed on Sundays, they opened their doors with a special menu that showcased their dedication to making every occasion special. Walking in, the cozy atmosphere enveloped us, instantly making us feel at home. What truly set this restaurant apart was the palpable sense of familial warmth radiating from the owners, who greeted us with peaceful smiles. It's evident that their passion for what they do infuses every dish with love, resulting in a dining experience that is nothing short of exceptional. From the delicious food to the heartfelt ambiance, La Casa della Pasta has certainly won our hearts. We can't wait to return and indulge in their culinary delights again!

I can see why the Tampa Bay Times wrote this place up as #1 in Tampa. I’m born raised in NYC 70s till Tampa 2017. I’ve had some of the best Italian food this world has to offer growing up in NYC. From the #1 Italian joints in NYC to little authentic spots in Howard Beach and Ozone Park Queens, back in the 80s & 90s. I’d say this place ranks up there with my favorite little old Italian lady’s cooking. Compliments tomara and Franco. They provided great atmosphere, food, and service to my family and I here in Tampa. Reminds me of the old family run joints in Queens back in the day. Great family friendly vibe! Thanks for taking care of us!

The food was amazing, the servers were all cute little waitresses, and the look of the place fit the authenticity of the food, extremely good tasting food, the price is a little high for the average little Italian restaurant but when you bite into the food you know why, high quality ingredients from Italy! First visit to Tampa and had to try this Best of the Best to see if the Italian food stacked up. Boy did it ever. Such a hole in the wall vibe making it feel even more authentic to Italy. Calamari - lessons should be given to everyone else on making it this way. Every dish our family of four raved about and we all sampled each others and agreed with the amazingness. Pricey but worth it from calamari to pasta dishes to chocolate cake and cappuccinos.

Absolutely Amazing Service! Family Owned Restaurant that has the most fresh-tasting food I’ve had in a while. The lasagna and fettuccine was so good and I will definitely be back to try the veal! Mara and Franco, the owners, have created a family feel restaurant with authentic italian cuisine that rivals the best italian spots in tampa such as Nabruzzi’s and Casa Cosenza and to be honest…this might be the best spot of them all.

We had a wonderful experience! Had multiple servers and all very knowledgeable of the menu + suggestions for pairings. The wine was phenomenal and reasonably priced. We met the chef and he was wonderful to chat with. This is a very high end Italian restaurant with reasonable prices! Great hidden gem.

Excellent experience all around! Staff are attentive and kind, the owners are welcoming and passionate about their customers experience. The smoked burrata is new, beautifully plated and absolutely delicious! I got a bow tie pasta and sausage entree with a cappuccino panacotta for dessert both were phenomenal and came out quickly. I want to go back for the fettuccine parm wheel dish that includes a table display of melting cheese being torched! The ambiance is amazing, very romantic date night vibes. Can’t wait to return!

This restaurant had some of the best pasta I have had in Tampa. I saw their food on @whitegirl_eats Instagram and she highly recommended it. I took my fiancé there for an early Valentine’s Day dinner. Can’t wait to go back.

I would have a better feeling about this place if they didn't rush us out so they can use our table. They were slow to get the food out and then once we were done, they wanted our table.

Every bite had me wanting more! I-got the Ravioli DI Formaggio Alla Vodka Ubereats to me cause it looked and sounded good but nothing could have prepared me for that first bite I took. The sauce is fantastic, I love a mean vodka sauce myself. I am used to a cheesy vodka sauce but this is not kind. The raviolis themself were amazing, they taste Fl so fresh, the ricotta so soft and just the right amount. You can taste the fresh pancetta in the vodka sauce as well. This was one the next dishes I’ve eaten in my life and I can’t wait to try some of the other food this place offers. I was upset to see that I ate it all so quick but this was an amazing experience.

I have been going to Casa della Pasta for years, even before the change in ownership and food had always been good. My last experience prompted me to write a review with the hope that the owners see it and take this as a valuable criticism. Night started with a broken glass in the table, pointed it out to our server and she happily switched it. I first ordered the fetuccini in parmesan wheel from "today's specials" and the server let me know it is only served Thursday, Friday and Saturdays. I think it should not be in today's special menu or at least have a note stating the available days. I then ordered lasagna di carne (meat lasagna) and the lasagna had VERY little meat on it. We also ordered bucatini Cacio e pepe and was very disappointed with the portion size. The cherry on top and the reason I'm writing this review is when we ordered dessert (tiramisu), one of the servers brought a plastic sealed container on top of a plate with the spoons for us to eat, dropped it in our table and said "Here you go". I tried to open the container and I couldn't open it. I let the server know that I couldn't open it and that I didn't want it anymore, she said that she was sorry, that they ran out of tiramisu in glass containers which is why she brought the plastic one and I told her I understood but that I was disappointed with the presentation because we are in a restaurant, dining in. She said that they don't open the plastic containers. That whole situation was simply not acceptable for me, at least say something when you bring it. To be fair with this review, when we were paying the bill, one of the servers came to our table to let us know she had heard about the tiramisu and deducted drinks we had ordered but honestly for me it was more about the whole experience.

This place is doing everything right. I went here for my birthday dinner with my husband last night. We felt like we were transported to a small countryside town in Italy, dining at a quaint family owned restaurant. Thank you for a wonderful evening

Over priced, run down restaurant in rundown plaza. The local people eating there don’t know what Italian food is. Waitress had an attitude. Don’t get the black pasta with shrimp. The pasta was over seasoned with garlic and the shrimp had no taste. Don’t get the black truffle sausage with risotto, risotto was over cooked and sausage was cheap and probably frozen. Not worth the price ambiance was mediocre.

Coming from two Italian families,my husband and I decided to bring my mother in law who was visiting from NY here for her birthday dinner. The atmosphere was excellent. So cozy and welcoming. What was very disappointing was that we chose this restaurant for the cheese wheel, and when we got there it was not available. The food was delicious, but the portions are a little on the small side.. it seems like the food was priced for fine Italian but did not really deliver. The service was decent but not exceptional. Overall we had a great time, just disappointed in some things.

first time here, my boyfriend and i were in the mood for Italian, (we’re normally underwhelmed by the italian food we’ve had in the past so we’re hesitant to go to italian restaurants) i’m glad we went here, the atmosphere is so cute and a great date spot. For it only being the owners(they were so nice and very involved which is refreshing to see) and a server while it was picking up, the service was up to par. the food tasted very cozy, like a nice home cooked meal. it was very good, my only complaint is that my chicken was a little dry but the pasta and sauce was so good it could be overlooked but leaving a review, i have to mention everything. with the check came this cute little dessert plate, it was unexpected and tasty. very good experience and hope to come back soon!

This is, hands down, my favorite place to get TRUE authentic Italian cuisine in the Tampa Bay area. Stepping inside is like transporting to Italy (without the 10 hr flight). The owners are very involved and hard-working, and it really makes a difference. My girlfriend and I have been here multiple times now, and every time, we are just blown away. 10/10 for service, atmosphere, and flavor.

Expensive for the dish size but most importantly, the food does not have much flavor.

One of the best Italian restaurants I had outside Italy. I have eaten out fine dining a few times a week for the past 20 years and travel often.This restaurant is a hidden treasure. Great services. Comfortable casual atmosphere with attentive details. Easy parking is a plus.

Dined here a few yrs ago and now tht I'm looking for a nice restaurant to take my friend for her bday I remember how great this place was..won't be disappointed feels celebritish the owner was awesome food was on point.. now I'm heading back..

The only downside is that it can be tough to get seating for more than six people, so make sure to call well ahead (like, more than a day ahead). That being said, this place was great! We were able to get outdoor seating that accommodated our large party. I think we had no less than five different people stopping by our table to help out with ordering, water, bread, you name it. Super service! So they make their famous pasta dish inside a wheel of cheese. I mean, that was pretty cool. You get to watch them whip it up no less (they cannot bring the wheel of cheese outside, so you might have to go inside to watch). Salads were really good, although maybe a bit light for the price. I love any place that includes sundried tomatoes. They also have half plates for kids. Two thumbs up. Would definitely come here again.

Ordered food from here on Uber Eats tonight and the food was incredible, nice portions, very tasty and good prices.

Thought the place was nice. Small but sufficient to take about a 100 or so people in & out dining. Calamari were lifeless & not crispy at all. They were tough to chew. Our pasta dishes were average but not bad. On the other hand our friends had the eggplant & it was not lovely to look at. Service was overwhelming because we had so many people for our table. We were only 4 people. Mentioned the calamari were not the best at all & very chewy. She said maybe it was just this batch. Didn't want to try another though she didn't ask if I would like to try another. People must love it as it was busy the entire time we were there. I would probably never go there again.

This place is AMAZING! My husband and I wanted Italian for our anniversary and wanted small business. This place did not disappoint. Everything was delicious, the owners are very involved and so sweet and attentive, and everything is very reasonably priced. I definitely recommend finishing your meal with an espresso and cappuccino flan.

So happy we found this place. Last night was the second time going. Our table got the vodka ravioli (delicious), tortellini (omg this was my favorite thing for the night). We also got the gnocchi (prob my least favorite of the table but I like white sauce more) and the risotto with shrimp (pretty good but the tortellini was by far my favorite). Forgot to take pic of our food. We cleared our plates. Last time we went I got the truffle ravioli and holy moly I dreamt about that a while It must be rotated in the menu bc I didn’t see it last night.

Authentic experience, an enthusiastic team focused on delivering delicious food. We had the table for 2 house, no rushing, no pressure to flip the table, a fantastic place to get great Italian cuisine without feeling rushed.

Ordered to go and I'm literally shocked at how bad this was after all these great reviews. I always finish my food even if I don't like it and never complain, but I didn't finish this. The pasta fagioli was the most bland thing I've ever eaten. Legit like I was eating pain noodles and potatoes in pasta water. The rolled eggplant didn't even look like eggplant... Real bummed

First time here and it was very nice. We had a nice date night dinner with dessert. Wines are interesting and varied. She had a seafood dish and I had veal. Tasty gourmet meals without the chain restaurant overkill of salt and garlic. Refreshing and fun. We'll be back soon.

I saw this on TikTok and just had to try, we could make are mind up about the awesome wine selection so our waiter offered us samples because we wanted to buy a bottle. To celebrate 5 year anniversary, the vibe felt like we were actually in Italy the lighting was on point was very romantic setting, the owner came over and she made us feel very special offered us a complimentary dessert along with some amazing cookies omg they were so good. Food was amazing I had the shrimp with blackened Alfredo pasta and sauce and the hubby had lamb it was worth every penny yummy I’ll definitely be back

Had dinner here for the first time, and now I am upset I didn't go here sooner. Food was fantastic, super fresh and the homemade pasta is delicious. Everything was piping hot. Staff was incredibly friendly and very attentive. Will certainly have to go back as they unfortunately weren't doing the pasta made in the giant cheese wheel and I definitely wanna give that a try.

One of the best Italian food we had so far in Tampa . They have a very good vegetarian options. Staffs were really friendly. We had Bruschetta,whole wheat pasta pomodoro e basilico arrabbiata, Fettuccine on the parmiggiano regano wheel and Tiramisu! Bruschetta was soo fresh and tasted amazing, pasta both arrabbiate and fettucine tasted soo good, also fettucine was prepared on the parmigiano wheel in front of you which was a new experience for both of us and last but not least tiramisu was super delicious! Definitely it would be our go to Italian spot!

Update: Seriously. This is the best Italian outside of Italy. Every single time we come, we are blown away. Our absolute favorite meal is their lasagna. #chefskiss My husband will argue that the oreomiseu (their home made oreo tiramiseu) is the best item on the entire menu. We love it! Last night we also had the cannolis which were also very good. The owners continue to be incredibly welcoming and involved. Also, their staff seem to love them and they truly feel like a family. Initial review: Incredible. The service and food were both exceptional. We started with bruschetta, buratta, and prosciutto. We then got the chicken milanese and a wonderful thick spaghetti type pasta with pepper cream sauce. We then ended the meal with their oreomiseu which was divine. The owners are incredibly involved and were a delight to meet. We love Italy and this is the best Italian food we have had outside of local Italy. The ONLY disappointing part was their sangria. We will be back!

Found this quaint little restaurant by accident. Glad I did. The food is delicious, the menu has so many excellent choices. The waitstaff is very attentive and professional. They also have an extensive wine list. I highly recommend.

We were looking forward to a nice dinner but were very disappointed in our food. My veal was the toughest I’ve ever had and told our waitress. I was surprised the chef did not come out and address it. The chicken breast was very dry. The fish was very good and The ravioli had an aftertaste.the service was good and waitresses were very friendly. Overall we were disappointed.

Great food, wine and atmosphere. One of the Italian restaurants in all of Tampa. Sometimes we feel a little rushed. Multiple waitresses. Hard to get a second or third glass of wine lately. That’s pure profit. Even when there isn’t a line feels like they want to turn the table over. Not overly relaxing for customers.

We loved our meal here! The wine selection was great. The anti-pasti appetizers were delicious. The meat was so fresh and the garlic bread so tasty. The table side pasta in the Parmesan cheese wheel stole the show! It was delightful to have the chef and owner share thoughts and insights on Italian food as he prepared it. We took dessert to-go because we were full, but I am sure the tiramisu will be just as good as everything else. You must try this place if you love Italian food! It is such a hidden GEM! As one of my father-in-law's favorite restaurants I was excited to finally give them a try. The La Casa della Pasta restaurant has been a staple in this part of Tampa for many years. Despite its many young, attractive, servers, the restaurant itself is a little dated. The inside dining area is small, intimate, cozy even, with candlesticks in wine bottles adorning every table. The bar is unused as a seating area, leaving 3 tables nestled right up against it. The areas are clean and it is obvious the staff is well trained in the care and cleaning of the restaurant. The menu consists of classic Italian dishes in every category, seafood, veal, chicken, antipasto's, soups and, of course, pasta. One thing you notice, regardless of the dish, is that it is from fresh ingredients, prepared freshly, and with care. Their marinara is a prime example of simplicity done right. Bright red, seasoned gently and appropriately without any unnecessary improvisations. Their wine selection is large and well thought out, offering variety for all tastes. As for the actual flavors and preparation, it is fair, not the greatest I have ever had, but certainly not in the bottom of that list either. The freshness of ingredients and care of preparation aren't enough to elevate the dishes to a next level, but for good, homecooked Italian it's a solid place to eat.

TL, DR: I’m almost angry I have to eat other food. This place is a gift. It is exquisite and precise. There’s no flavor that could be added or subtracted. Everything is so fresh it’s like they harvested the food for us and then cooked our orders. We had eggplant rolatini, fettuccini Alfredo from the Parmesan wheel and chicken piccata, then tiramisu to finish. Mara provided excellent guidance on the wine. The service was warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. Everyone I met seems to be really in love with the food and the teamwork. I don’t think I’ve had a better meal in Tampa.plan

Probaby an off day for them on visit.. $40 osso bucco was not "fall off the bone" .. server not attentive.. eh.. seemed only 3/4 full. Has a lot of promise and good reviews just not for me on my visit. Was hard to get the meat off the bone so decided to stop wrestling and just take it home. 🙄 small little foam clamshell and plastic baggy was not best presentation to end the experience. Again Im sure it was an off-day and perhaps some unknown distractions.

If I could give this place 0 stars for RACISM I would. They only hire white girls with blue eyes and no one diverse appears to work there. When I went in with my Hispanic friend, the manager was extremely rude and racist towards her. Food also took an extremely long time for my friend. Do not go here unless you want blatant racist comments said to your face
