Food was amazing, prices were good. The 4 star for atmosphere is because it was very hot in there. There was a fan but felt like the ac was not on.

This is definitely one of the most authentic Cuban restaurants I’ve been to in Florida. It reminds me of my family’s cooking. 10/10 recommend.

Excellent food for my first visit. I had a barbecue pork sandwich. It was basically shredded pork with barbecue sauce in a nice toasted piece of bread. Also had a Cafe con leche, both were very delicious and I look forward to the next time I can enjoy good food here. Just another hole in the wall place with some excellent food.

I can’t believe they ask you to pay a service charge of 18% and they aren’t even serving you! I believe in tipping but that’s ridiculous!!!

Only got cafe con leche and toasted Cuban beef with butter but it was pretty darn good. The food there looked and smelled wonderful. Will come back to try it out

Love it! Old-school style Cuban cafe in a part of Tampa sorely lacking anything this authentic. Service was very nice, good was great and seating was cozy.

Croquetas are good, café con leche is good. Food is just ok but the Cuban is good. Boyfriend got the breaded steak sandwich and liked it. So I think sandwiches are the way to go here.

My goodness! What a great experience finding this place all the way from Virginia. We've been to quite a few Cuban restaurants in the area, but the flavors and the food here was above them all. Great menu and the service was awesome. Thanks to Julie, Tony, and Dagne for making this experience a memorable one. We'll definitely be back for more. I totally recommend this place.

Second time here, the food was great and tastier than first time. On the pics, it’s the Caribbean chicken, and baked chicken plus black bean soup.

The employees were super nice and helpful. I loved the sweet plantains. They were sweet and soft, just the way I like them. I forget what the correct term is, but the fried potato balls were delicious! Just the way I remembered them, as a kid. We ordered a Cuban also, but I just wasn't a fan of it. I feel like it wasn't pressed enough, and it didn't have pickles on it. I did order it with pickles, but someone else ended up making the sandwich. My husband wasn't impressed with it either, but I do think pickles would have made it a lot better. Maybe next time, if I find myself in that area. I'd go just for the plantains and potato balls.

Cool Spanish restaurant in the Carrollwood area. We have been there a few times. My wife likes going there when visiting a family member who lives on Ehrlich.

I love this place. My Dad brought me here a few years ago and I've been going ever since. The chicken is so Juicy and tasty. It really tastes like they marinate it all night. It just falls off the bone in such a beautiful way. It isn't very expensive and the staff is very friendly. I'll absolutely be back throughout the coming months. Their plantains and chicken are my favorites. They could use some plant based options, but all in good time.

The obvious friendliness of the staff makes this a good place to go and relax over a very satisfying meal. While the overall presentation of the food choices could use a bit more attention, the taste and quality is on par! With so many choices of Latin food in the area, Ricky's is certainly one to add to your list for a 'off the beaten path ' place that's not crowded, for good food!

This is a warmth restaurant with food that make you feel good, service is great, seat inside or outside and enjoy. Place is always clean. Plenty of free! parking.

I didn't get a Cuban vibe, but I also went first thing in the morning while it was empty. The important thing was that the Cuban sandwich and the Cafe con Leche were great. So, there is nothing to complain about. I would definitely go again.

Absolutely delicious food! I had the ropa veija and my hubs had the classic Cuban. The sandwich was huge and my portion was large as well. Authentic flavors, very sweet staff. Loved it.

Great authentic cuban food. I ordered baked chicken, plantains, and yuca. The plantains were great, the baked chicken had amazing flavor, but my favorite was the garlic sauce on top of the yuca. I live an hr away, but will definitely be back soon.

Cute little Cubano Cafe serving authentic Cuban food. The food is flavorful, delicious and served in hearty portions. Can be a little pricey, but I ALWAYS have enough leftovers for lunch the following day. Can't beat that!
