This was the best Italian food my wife and I have had in a long time. We love it!

La Dolce Vita is a quaint Italian restaurant with a very nice atmosphere along with caring excellent service. They also offer some limited outdoor seating but we ate inside. After seating we were provided a nice basket of sliced small bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The server described the various specials and was available to answer questions. Typical of many restaurants while describing the specials they did not provide the item cost but if asked the server gave the cost. We (4 people) basically stayed with the menu items. I did order the evening's Caprese Salad which was fine with a big ball of mozzarella but the tomatoes were just okay. I didn't ask but was surprised to see a charge of $26 for the salad when the other menu salads were half the price. Everyone enjoyed their meals -- I ordered the Garganelli Alle Verdurine. Other item ordered were Insalata La Dolce Vita, Chitarrina "La Dolce Vita", Lasagna Classica, and Ravioli Ai Funghi Tartufati. We did not order desserts but 2 espressos and no wine ordered with a total check of $192.49. La Dolce Vita is definitely worth a visit.

Yes. Where the locals go. Authentic Italian home cooking. Pasta made daily. This place has been around for a long time. It’s about time I reviewed. It’s not on OpenTable, doesn’t have to. Located in a quaint area near the beach. We had octopus which was excellent, Spaghetti Chitarrina al rag and Penne daily special with 3 meat bolognese. Local review by a local for over 50 years.

Food is excellent. Good wine list. My only quibbles are the bathroom and bread. There’s some great bread in Italy, so I know that you can do better. The house salad was ok. The prosciutto and buratta was fantastic. Branzino and lobster ravioli specials were done perfectly. Tiramisu was amazing, as was the Lemon sponger cake. Highly recommend. We’ll be back.

Outstanding service, treat you like a friend, not a customer. Good wine selection and lasagna is better than I can make ( my recipe is from Tony Cita at the CIA ). Love their tomato sauce on everything. Great dinner value, no need to wait for a special occasion.

1st time here and every bite was as good as the next. Homemade pasta melts in your mouth. Fish daily special with stuffed artichokes was perfectly seasoned. Can't wait to go again soon.

Wr are visiting from Michigan and some local recommended this place. Don’t be fooled by its location in a strip mall. This is the real deal. The mushroom risotto was amazing. The homemade spaghetti with sausage was so good. Their house wines are great! We enjoyed listening to the locals speaking Italian. Don’t dismiss the location! Go!!

I love this little spot. It’s been around forever and updates are minimal. As soon as you walk in, you’re greeted in Italian and made to feel like family. The food is excellent. Pasta is handmade in house and melts in your mouth. Great prices on wine and food alike. Highly recommend for quality, Italian food.

We were vacationing in Deerfield beach and drove down because my husband grew up in Germany with the owner Fabio. Absolutely delicious food ,very authentic Italian . All 4 of us loved our meals including my picky 12 year old. Great wine selection as well. Look forward to going back on our next trip to south Florida

The best around Fort Lauderdale. Wish they had a location near Chicago. The pasta melts in one’s mouth. The owner is present, very welcoming and personally attends to the clientele. The staff, over the top polite, the service was just incredible. Top notch all around.

The best ravioli there I ever ate!

After great anticipation, I was finally able to return to the area and experience one of Ft. Lauderdale's most fabulously hidden gems. I couldn't decide, so gorged on 3 different appetizers, each more delicious than the last, although the octopus was definitely a stand out! I then ordered the homemade pasta with sausage and nearly cried. Side note- their freshly baked bread should be illegal. The chocolate tiramisu was everything you would expect and more. The wine selection is magical yet deliberate. I was in the area for a month and it was by far, the best meal I had the pleasure of eating. Although that would have been enough in itself, I simply can't end this review without mentioning the atmosphere. La Dolce Vita has both an intimate and family feel, meaning whoever walks in the door feels like family! The owners, Fabio and Christian, greeted and interacted with everyone, and it was very clear they have a strong relationship with their patrons and the neighborhood. I ate at the bar and enjoyed fantastic service from Julia. I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed this experience and savored every moment of it. I will absolutely be back and already have a list of things I am dying to try next- like the lemon cake and short rib ravioli *smacks lips* Do yourself a favor and give this place a try- you certainly won't regret it!

This restaurant is a must try! The atmosphere is intimate and romantic. From the second we walked in-we were met with hospitality and kindness. We were able to meet the owner-who went the extra mile to make our night out memorable. The food was the best Italian I have ever had. We will definitely be back!

The experience was exception, service outstanding, and the food to die for!! I was in Tuscany in 2021 and the food was as good or better than the native Italian food I enjoyed while there. What a delightful surprise. Serving size perfect. Great wine list, homemade pasta, reasonably priced… I could go on and one! Highly recommend.

1st time visitors in Ft Lauderdale, my daughter & I wanted Italian for dinner...La Dolce Vita did not disappoint! Many local patrons, which was refreshing to see. Thank you for the delicious meal & service was excellent. Will be back next time we're in town.

I should share with you, the fact that I have been to the most expensive restaurants all over the world, sampled the most amazing cuisines in Italy! That said this restaurant is my number one Italian restaurant ever!!! I Challenge anyone to share a better dining experience than the one I continuously have at this restaurant. I’ve had the pleasure of sampling many dinners at different times and enjoyed every single one, every time! I’ve had dinner parties at this restaurant and everyone at my table enjoyed everything they ordered. I’d like to also give a five star review on the amazing customer service and dining experience.! Don’t hesitate, make your reservation early as they get filled quickly I would like to thank Favio for the amazing birthday dining experience. We had last night! The wine was amazing and will have it again the next time we come. Keep up the good work you’re doing great!

Service was great, but food just below top South Florida Italian restaurants.

The most welcoming atmosphere. Real and genuine people. I felt like I was having a Sunday dinner with family. Raviolis were special. Thank you for the experience and restoring my roots and my understanding of where I come from. Nice to know that still exists today.

If want great Italian food this is the place. All home pasta! Artichoke appetizer is off the charts and served in a different way you will not be disappointed!

The best Italian restaurant that I have tried. The atmosphere is like been in Europe. The food is amazing, I have tried risotto, spaghetti marinara, ravioli with truffles and now chicken Espanola and all of them are so delicious. Great preparation, flavor and good timing even though when they are full, as you should expect from a place like this one, the personnel is so sweet and really good price. I loved it and for sure I will go back and recommend it 100%.

In a nice area withe several small strip malls. Good place to park and walk around. Have to pay for street parking. We went early, so it wasn't very busy. Some tables on the sidewalk, but it was a little hot - everyone was inside. Pastas are homemade - seems to be their specialty - they do have salmon, chicken, veal as well. Fairly priced. Nice fresh bread to start. We had the beef ravioli and spaghetti special - 3 meat sauce. Both were excellent. Right size portion - not too small. Cooked perfectly al dente. Food arrived fast. Servers were excellent. Atmosphere was nice. Surprising how many restaurants are still old school with payment - no portable machines. Highly recommended. Will visit every time I'm in the area.

We came across this restaurant just looking for a real good Italian restaurant! I am Italian and usually prefer just eating at my family’s for dinner, but they are in NJ and I relocated to Fort Lauderdale! Finally found the spot be! It’s a quaint Italian restaurant that is authentic and delicious! Feels like you are in Italy for a moment. We ordered the polenta appetizer and it was heaven in the mouth! Perfecto! I order the special bolognese and my husband ordered the spaghetti with a cream sauce and Italian sausage with truffle. I highly recommend this place. It is clear that all the pasta is housemade! So fresh! Its very personal and the staff is amazing! Thank you Dolce Vita! We will be back with friends! So happy I finally found my favorite Italian here in Fort Lauderdale! Prego! Amazing Italian Food. The best that we had while visiting Fort Lauderdale! The owner is from Italy and travels back and forth from Italy to the U.S. I love to cook myself and this menu has great italian food! They know what they are doing!

The food was boring and uninspired we had many dishes and they sounded good from the description but were all bland.

The girl filling the water glasses was touching the lip/rim with her fingers, instead of cupping the stemmed glass from below and picking it up. Disgusting, who knows what her hands had touched prior to that

Nice Italian restaurant, good food and service. Real Italian cuisine, pasta Carbonara and pasta Amatriciana are a "must" here (just ask for less black pepper in Carbonara if you want be really able to eat it). To try!
