Went for Sizzle & the food was fabulous. Some of the best in Naples! What a delightful hidden gem! Was our first time, won’t be our last!

Had wonderful Sunday dinner for 32 people. Food was fantastic . Service was excellent-incredibly accommodating to our large party. Would highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion.

First time going. Had the tortellini in vodka sauce was excellent. Could possibly be the best vodka sauce I've ever had. Great Italian restaurants are hard to find and this was outstanding. 5 star all around . Great menu. Will return again!

This excellent restaurant has been a Bonita Springs fixture for many years. The food is outstanding… how do they make the chicken so moist and succulent? Never had a bad meal here. One of the area’s best restaurants!

Excellent Italian cuisine. Wonderful fresh pasta. Great mushroom soup. Reasonable prices for the quality. Our server, Hunter, offered great advice. Both indoor and outdoor seating.

Bottom line for me is that I won’t dine here often. Very average Italian food. And value for money not ok in my opinion. It’s close to my home that’s the only reason why I might come back

This is in our friends top three restaurants in the area. Food didn't disappoint. Food was great, we had the bistecca. PEI mussel app was very good. No hard liquor, only beer and wine. Only complaint was the restaurant is very noisy when full. May want to consider some sound deafening wall art, etc.

First time here they just open seven days ago and the place was running very smoothly for just opening seven days. The service was very good. I got the veal Osso Buco and it was really good and proportion size were big !definitely will be back management was very friendly as well.

Everything we had was absolutely excellent. The food was prepared perfectly the service was top-notch. The bolognese might have been the best I've had in Florida. I hope to be back soon.

It hurts me to write this but I thought the owner should know our experience last nite.. we are regular's..once a week regulars… and the service by our server was so beyond rude and disrespectful! We still had our appetizers in our mouths eating and they brought out our main courses and literally placed them on the side.. my husband nicely said as you can see we aren’t even done with our appetizers please bring mains back a few minutes after we r done.. we were done and within two seconds slapped our mains down..spoke to our server about this (white haired gentleman) and received such a rude and disrespectful banter.. he said I pride myself on when to space out the meals and then continued to be rude and disrespectful and dismissive! The owner wasn’t there last nite and I know THIS never would of happened.. the woman who was manning the front was extremely apologetic gave us free desert and tried everything in her power to rectify what had happened to us.. like I said we were regulars.. but not sure if we are returning after what happened last nite.. that server was probably one of the rudest we have ever dealt with down here.. and it’s a shame.. it’s a great restaurant nice people great food but when you have a server who behaved the way he did last nite not sure if we will be back..hopefully the owner will read this and let his server know that his behavior lost a regular customer because of him.. really a shame!

With our return visit last night (6/28/23) I can honestly say this restaurant is better than ever. It is firing on all cylinders....food, table service, wine list, ambiance, and superb value for money. With the dynamic new owner Jamie Stalowski at the helm, the longtime greatness of La Fontanella has risen even higher. It is a must-visit for anyone who loves authentic Italian food served by true professionals. A phenomenal experience.

My wife and I were greeted by the owner Jamie upon entering the restaurant. It was busy , but unlike where we dined across the street, they know how to handle a crowd. Rebecca , our server, was great. Apparently they have “ secret specials” in addition to the daily specials. That means if you love something, and it’s not on the menu, they try to accommodate. The food is made from scratch, including pasta so they can add or delete items. The busser Franco was awesome keeping us in warm bread and waters. My wife had a chicken and mushrooms and walnuts and fresh apricots. She loved it. I had the chicken parm which is a “secret special”. The food was spectacular, the food amazing, and the staff actually likes what they do and it shows. We loved it and you will too.

Service by Sarah was excellent as was the food. It was amazing. Not enough words to describe how enjoyable it was.

Food & service was excellent. I don't like dining outside but the other couple use hearing aids. Indoor dining is too loud & disruptive for them to hear. We had a great evening together. Unfortunately eating on the "sidewalk" was noisy & smelly as cars were driving by and often stopped to drop off people. As more people came. They had to wait & were noisy (just talking) but just a few feet away. We had to finally leave as we couldn't hear each other above them. There should be a better place for them to wait for their tables. I assume it's not as crowded after "Season". We live in Naples full time and we will go back by ourselves & eat inside. 😊👍

Everyone excellent - food was delicious

We tried this place for the 1st time. This dish was really good and highly recommended. Cavatelle con Broccoli e Salsiccia Fresh cavatelle, broccoli, cannellini beans, imported sweet Italian sausage, fresh basil in garlic & extra virgin olive oil. Our Server was Matt . Never have seen better service from a server or with the care that he provided. The owner made rounds but said to us" Hey Guys, how is everything?" We found this to be a little odd, especially when that was his only visit and and addressing as guys...with me and my wife? Saying hello my friends or hi folks would have been better etiquette. The food was good, probably priced reasonably but our server helped make this a good dining experience. 4 * overall, the owner wasn't super professional, but all else was good, especially our server.

We dined this evening for the first time. Showed up on a Friday with no reservation. They could not have been more friendly and accommodating. Quickly set up and outside table and our server Rebecca came to us within 5 min. She was amazing as were all the staff. My husband ordered the Osso Bucco and I had the Chicken Masala. Both were excellent as was the Cesar salad. We had a reasonably priced bottle of delicious Chianti as well. The service was prompt but not rushed and we thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Prices were fair. We will definitely be back.

This has to be the best Authentic Italian Restaurant in the Naples Area. New owner Jami is very attentive to everyone before and after dinner. Will recommend this to everyone.

Nice find in SW Florida. We had the sea bass and the osso bucco. Both were amazing. The service was great. The owner works the room to ensure everything is great. The wine list was also nice. We would highly recommend this one! We drove 40 minutes and it was worth the drive!

The food is good. The wine list very good. The service typically excellent. The only reason for 4 stars are the prices. Two entrees, two glasses of wine will easily cost you $100.

We had an excellent dinner. Ossobuco is not on the menu but that’s what I had, It’s delicious and melts in your mouth. My hubby had linguine bolognese and enjoyed it as well. Will definitely be back for more!

This is the best Italian restaurant around! I have been frequenting this place for over 20 years and it continues to be my favorite. My parents love the veal and I can vouch for any pasta dish! Please try this place, it will not disappoint!

The food and service was excellent, it was some of the best pasta I've ever had. The only downside to this place is the atmosphere. It just seems like it's for an older audience, I went with my dad and we both felt a little awkward. If they could do something to make the place more lively it would be an easy 5/5

Great recipes and nice people. This is the special miso glazed Chilean sea bass. One of the reasons that strip mall restaurants are the best in SW Florida.

Slow service. I understand we had a large party (12) but not what I expected. Food? I've had much better even from Olive Garden!!! It was my friends birthday we brought cake. They charged $10 to cut it!!! Manager was difficult to work with. Never going back.

Molly took very good care of us last night. We really enjoyed the service provided by Adel and Molly. The food of course was a big highlight. Two of us had the PEI mussels special which was plump and flavorful. One in our party had beef carpaccio which was outstanding too. Our entrees were top-notch. Sea Bass special was off the charts. The chef actually came around at the end of the night to talk to the remaining patrons and thank us for coming. This is authentic NJ Italian food well done and well served. Thank you for a great evening.

I could not be more impressed with the service or the food. Great people and great food. Will be attempting to eat here every year when the family comes down for vacation.

Rarely give 5 stars but this is the place. Started off with the burrata (phenomenal). I ordered the linguini pascatori and my wife ordered the Chilean sea bass. Nothing beats those 2 meals. Sea bass is so damn flaky and buttery it’s unreal. And the seafood in the pasta is also amazing. Rice pudding for dessert won’t kill you either. Highly recommend to go here.

I’ve been to many Italian restaurants all over the US and Italy. This is one of my favorite. The service was excellent and the food was out of this world. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal and experience.

During COVID we ordered carry out: Salmon Dinner & Spaghetti AllaRostese w/a side of sauteed spinach. EVERYTHING WAS SUPER DELICIOUS and prepared perfectly!! And I'm particular and I loved everything! It was HOT, the sauce on the Salmon was so complimentary! The spaghetti entree was loved by my husand, and both portions were large enough to allow a 2nd dinner on another day. The sauteed spinach was perfect....not overcooked w/a light oil & garlic. Can't say enough about how good it was. Absolutely will be repeating this restuarant multiple times!

The best sea bass...and fresh...will go again

Het restaurant is gesitueerd in een mall. Van de buitenkant ziet het er niet heel aantrekkelijk uit. Ik heb de carpaccio gehad, en de kalfsossobuco gegeten. De carpaccio had iets teveel kaas, maar de ossobucco was geweldig!!

This place is a top end 'red sauce' and more restaurant. The service is fantastic, and the wine list is fairly priced and suitably lengthy. Not to be missed: Osso Bucco, La Penna alla Rossa, Linguini Pescatore, and the Scaloppine di Vitella Forestiera. Please plan on making reservations in season (Dec 15-April 15). Buon appetito

Hands down the best Italian food I have had! Atmosphere was small yet comfortable and staff was highly professional and accommodating and willing to make conversation. Diverse menu with nice substitution options. The pink sauce was superb and the wild mushrooms were delightful (mind you I usually despise mushrooms). The good keeps on coming when it comes for coffee or desserts; La Fontanellas has the best tiramisu to boot. Light, airy and flavourful. Situated in an unassuming strip mall, this Italian restaurant takes you to Italy all without leaving the sunshine state.

A locals choice. Off the beaten path but worth the trip.

Excellent Italian food with outstanding service. My favorite dish is the linguine pescatore. The staff are very attentive but not over baring. The owners are always there and treat everyone like family. Definitely my favorite restaurant. Can’t wait to go back next time we are in town.

Absolutely one of the best Italian restaurants in SW Florida! The food and service are excellent and the atmosphere reminds me of the Italian restaurants I would frequent in New York and New Jersey.

The food was so delicious and well made. A part of 8 and everyone was extremely satisfied with their meals. The decor was slightly out of date and the tables are packed into the restaurant at maximum capacity. With many tables comes lots of people and therefore lots of noise so at times it was difficult to have a conversation with your dinner guests. Absolutely will be back for the food though!!

Wonderful consistent reliable fresh...

We had the linguini and the food was delicious. The bread was warm and tasted nice with the butter. We had one dish and let the waiter know we would be splitting it, and they charged us $6 to split the meal. I was so angry about it. They did not even mention this charge and found out when we saw the bill. The food is priced very high here. They get 3 starts for the high price and the additional charge.

We found this restaurant online looking for a place to meet half way between Naples and Ft. Myers. So glad we chose it. It was as described...old style Italian, absolutely delicious with generous portions and an extensive wine list and an attentive and friendly staff. Will definitely be back!
