I took my niece here after Church and sadly was not impressed, food was okay.

Fast and friendly service. The birri tacos and street corn were excellent.

I ordered the burrito with chicken. The protein was very minimal. The flavor was good. For the price point, they shouldn't skimp on the protein. This is my second time trying the restaurant, and probably the last. The service was great.

Excellent food and a fun atmosphere, will definitely be returning soon!

Simple, homestyle food with friendly service!

I’m from South Texas originally and I really love to eat Menudo. It’s hard to find it and when you do, it usually doesn’t taste very well, but I tried it at this location on Wednesday and I have to say it was incredible I’ve eaten Here off and on for over a year and everything I try is fresh and tasty if you’re looking for good Tex-Mex Mexican food make sure you give them A try you will not regret it.

Very good service, Love their tacos. One of their choices is Ribeye tacos and they are excellent. Also really enjoy their Al Pastor tacos. Very clean and bright restaurant.

Not great, not terrible. Quality occasionally inconsistent and it’s gotten really expensive. Lunch for 4 was 90$.

Food was cold and gross. I ordered enchiladas and my plate came with a tortilla laid flat, bland shredded chicken on top of that then smothered in cold sauce. When I asked the waiter, he informed me that it was “traditional” enchiladas. Just no.

The food was good overall, and the artwork was excellent.

The worst mexican food ever had in my life.

Very friendly workers. What I love about this place is because of my dietary restrictions I'm not being able to eat pork, it is the only place I know that doesn't use lard on their tamales as well as their refried beans. So it's really the only place I can have tamales! And it was very yummy!

We sat down and ordered and in less than five minutes our meals came out. The smothered burrito I ordered was ice cold in the middle. They took it back and in less than five minutes it came back hot but the burrito was tough. None of the meals had any flavor. The time before was a better experience.

Clean restaurant, nice servers, good portions. But the food is extremely bland and there are much better options for the price.

This is not a good Mexican restaurant. Food is so bland. I love giving positive reviews but need to warn people that this place is basic basic with no seasoning. It’s could have just been the one night we went but we won’t be trying it again.

Consistent, well priced, friendly service.

Ordered for pickup. Sever at the front was very polite. The inside was very clean The food ,well it was horrible. Chicken was dry and flavorless, the steak was not chewable. The RICE AND BEANS I'm not sure it was beans at all. Never seen beans in the form of a paste before. Safe to say I won't be back.

The food was good. Staff is very friendly. I have to note that dining out easily costs upwards of $120 for 4 persons.

The online menu does not have prices and there are no take out menus available in the restaurant. Why?

The service I received was top tier and the food was AMAZING. I tried the guacamole and a pasta that I never seen before. I was expecting to order myself a traditional dish but to my surprise there was a Creamy Jalapeño Pasta that piqued my interest and was absolutely amazing! The atmosphere is family oriented and beautifully decorated. Thank you for the excellent service and food!

A little bland. It wasn't bad really, but not what I was expecting I suppose.

This is hands down the worst food I have ever had. It was disgusting. The 1st pic were not even sure if this was supposed to be sour cream or mayo. The chicken was a frozen breast, pretty sure they microwaved. The 3rd pic was supposed to be cheese dip. That's not even the worst part. My son ordered the mole enchiladas , no pics of it as we sent it back almost immediately. I never leave bad reviews. Take this is as more of a warning.

Wasn’t impressed. We ordered a few different items off of the menu and didn’t care for any of it. Even the chips that came with the salsa had a weird taste to them. Probably won’t be going back. Will say that the staff/service was good.

Didn't get order placed. Order Didn't look or taste like I had in restaurant. I ordered 2 orders of tacos, got home and had 2 tacos. Enchiladas Didn't look like the ones I had in restaurant. So disappointed. I am a returning patron, but not any more. I am done. Disgusting. Take out not like eating in

Was 2 hours from home. Tried this place and instant regret. Service was unfriendly and the owner watched our table like a hawk, was awkward. Party of 7 and food was spoiled tasting and thawed from the freezer. Chips are soooooo hard. Best thing was salsa, only one complimentary, after that refills are charged. Would not recommend to anyone, but to each their own. If you have taste buds that love that kind of food then it's for you.

Staff not friendly or welcoming

Their version of fajitas includes a piece of frozen chicken grilled in one piece on top of a bed of uncooked peppers and onions.

This handy neighborhood eatery never disappoints! Anything with the jalapeño cream sauce is divine and the new ribeye tacos were fantastic! Sangria always delicious!

Place is very clean. Service is good. I ordered chicken and carnitas tacos. Both meats were dry. Better coked than not Garnishments we're good. Chicken plain. Carnitas tasty. I'm guessing other dishes are probably better

We stopped by after going to Lithia Spring (which is very close). AMAZING Good Mexican place to eat. Highly recommend 👌 we loved all the food specially enmoladas, corn and TAMALES 🫔!!!

Amazing i got the Barria tacos and my son got the chicken quesadillas with guacamole and we took our leftovers with us and we forgot them and a guy came out and gave it to us honesty it was a good place wasn’t packed at all.

My husband had tacos al pastor which we're really good. I had chipotle chicken nachos which were surprisingly not spicy for something with the word chipotle in the name. I missed the spice. The servers were great, very attentive. Next time I'd probably go with some tacos.

My wife wanted tortilla soup for dinner so I found this wonderful place!!! The flavors and portions are so perfect! The gauc was delicious. Also, had the chicken nachos and they were 10/10! I can’t wait to order again!!!

LOVE this place! After visiting Cabo we were afraid we'd never find authentic Mexican food. We were wrong! This place is great! The staff is friendly, courteous and attentive. The food is authentic, the local is clean and we NEVER had to wait for a table. You will not be disappointed.

We always love La Villa. The restaurant and the family that owns are absolutely wonderful. Try the carnitas burrito or chicken enchiladas. The chipotle shrimp salad is killer too.

The Chile relleno and enchiladas were okay. The margarita was very week. The corona was cold.

So this is the proverbial "hole in the wall." Absolutly nothing special here, except it is clean, food is tasty, serive is polite. Sometimes good is special.

Came to lunch today chicken was lacking flavor the tamales was the only good thing from all of our meals. My mom said the salsa was spoiled. Expensive for what you get. There is other Mexican restaurant that are way better. Spending 100 dollars and it was only 4 of us.

They are fairly authentic, Tacos are legit even offering chorizo and el pastor marinated pork. They expanded double in room. We have enjoyed many times. But….. recently they had a 12 pc mariachi band in this small location it was so loud (they were actually pretty good) but an atmosphere mismatch. The salsa an even guac had a fishy taste which was very off putting. We had some bad tamales they tasted like plastic. Not sure if criss contaminating or too long in the cooler. We did not eat it. They are in area that might not know authentic mexican and they are a small business and may be not rotating things as much as they should if old. Tacos are fabulous and I will build up my immune ststem to eat them. Be sure to squeeze the limes. :-)

Our favorite Mexican food restaurant when visiting Tampa area, New tacos were a treat with au just dipping sauce! Owner and staff are friendly and fun! New restaurant opening soon on Anna Maria Island!

Didn't like the food the service was terrible.

My husband had 3 steak tacos that looked so delicious! He there was no flavor and there was hardly any meat in it. We had the cheese dip, like someone above, it was like melted Velveeta white cheese with a can of peppers and tomatoes thrown in the dip. It was cool how they served the tortilla chips, in a little pail. They weren't very good in my opinion. The salsa was ok. The rice had NO flavor. That's just sad. I had a tamale, it was good but it was $3 and it was almost 4" long. The boys working there were pretty nice. One took orders with earbuds on. Not professional. At least we can say we tried it.

Great food, great people! I tried their carnitas tacos out of their food truck not long ago and they recommended it me their brick and mortar place. Family place, very clean, good service and the prices are just right. I ordered a steak burrito smothered with jalapeño sauce. Phenomenal! My wife ordered chicken tostadas and she also was really happy with it. Fresh and delicious. Will definitely come back soon!

We loved EVERYTHING! From the super fresh and crisp salads to the soup to the pablano chicken--my family of 6 ate every morsel. First time we had Mexican food that didn't feel like it's been sitting around or reheated. So fresh and delicious! Loved the quick service too. Will be back! Thank you!

We ordered a few wet burritos. The first time we had them they were great. The last few times they were not. It was mostly rice and a few pieces of steak.

Absolutely horrible. We were really looking forward to trying this place since the reviews made it look pretty good. So bummed. Would not recommend.

I had the steak burrito dry, it was bland and almost flavorless. The jalapeño cream I had on the side did nothing to add to the flavor. Hot sauce is a necessity. You’d also think for $6 you would get flan to share where in reality you could almost eat it in a bite. I also ordered a cheese quesadilla for my son that hardly had any cheese.Bottom line, way too overpriced for the quality.

The food was delicious the servers were so friendly. I forgot my purse when I left and they sent a kid to chase us down just to bring it to us. I'm not from the area so that was very appreciated.

We love coming here. We go at least almost once a week. By far the best Mexican street corn. We’ve had the fajitas, steak tacos(which by the way has great flavor, taquitos, and enchiladas. All amazing. We love the mariachi band. Very talented and I think it’s nice to listen to them play while enjoying the food. The service is excellent. Very attentive! Will be back again!

This place is always fresh and authentic. I love having this place so close by. The owners are hard working and really know how to take care of their patrons. Try the corn soup you won’t regret it!

Friendly staff and the food is delicious and so fresh, can't wait to go back there. It is a little pricey, but it is expected with everything going on with this economy. Beer and wine, great margaritas, can't go wrong!
