I ordered from here today and got take out. I ordered the spicy pho, they only gave me 1 sriracha packet and a hoisin sauce that was extremely dry. My pho barely had any meat in it and the broth wasn’t even spicy. There sandwiches are extremely small as well. I called and talked with the manager about my issues and he basically said he knows the hoisin sauce is old but still continues to give it to customers. Overall bad experience and no initiative to try and make things better with us. Would definitely not recommend this place not even to a homeless person.

The service was absolutely amazing! The food was cheap, the people were so friendly! And the food looked authentic. Would definitely come here again, but with takeout 🥡

My husband and I stopped by for lunch. Place was empty with just one waitress. The restaurant is located on the corner of the street with very tight parking. The inside is dark with no windows. I got the autumn noodles. Ate half way through and saw a piece of hair. My husband got the combo fried rice and tasted fine.

The food is amazing but needs some cleaning around.

Me and my girlfriend of 5 years have been regulars here since we started dating in highschool. I have yet to have a bowl of vegan pho that compares to the pho here. An absolute gem of Sioux falls and as I move away I will make a point to eat here each time I come back.

I'm vietnamese and this was not good. Should've bought a pack of ramen and called it a day. We were the only table in the restaurant and god forbid I asked for bean sprouts and jalapenos with my soup as the waitress gave me an eye roll like I was asking her to donate a kidney.

I think it's the best Vietnamese food in town. Try the spicy beef or chicken pho. MMMM ... If you are not into spicy, they have selections for you too. We ate 8-28. Out%standing food. 10-23....Still outstanding food. 5/1/24 We've eaten there a number of times recently, one was a carry out. All great food. Service is great. Try it! You'll like it.

Though the service was very friendly, the food was not very authentic and the atmosphere was a bit awkward. Hard to describe exactly why, though. I did appreciate the vegetarian options!

Man... this place has seemingly lost its touch, my wife asked for a fork was only brought chopsticks no condiments on table, got my regular spicy pho but no jalapeños this time I guess? My main concern was the spoiled piece of chicken in my spring rolls, and by spoiled I mean rotten... come on Lams...😕😕😕

Use to be good and still is, flavors are there just the size of everything you get seems smaller or less otherwise still good restaurant for pho.

The parking lot is small. The food was good overall. Seemed short-staffed.

Right now best Pho in town...you can try other places but the aroma from Lam's is by far the most authentic...if you keep making the Pho this good I'll be a repeat customer.

Food is disgusting. The meat tasted old and smelled like bleach. The service was awful. Will never return. Save your money or go somewhere else.

This is my husband’s and my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Sioux Falls. We love getting the beef brisket or chicken pho, the vermicelli bowls, and the cold spring rolls. The pho soup is especially wonderful and comforting when we are feeling under the weather. The staff have always been friendly and I think this is definitely a hidden gem in Sioux Falls.

Went here for lunch today. The interior is in need of paint, especially the walls near the tables. They were covered in dried liquid, which I assume is from the noodles. The ceiling has pieces of stuff coming off near the vents. The bun bo hue I had was ok. The broth was clear, which I'm not used to with a beef pho. Had decent flavor but lacked depth, adding some chili oil helped. I personally didn't enjoy the shredded cabbage versus the bean spouts. The cabbage gave the entire soup an odd flavor. Overall, average.

I wouldn't recommend to anyone because the food are the worst Vietnamese food I've ever tried 😢

My wife and I have been coming here for almost 9 years. I haven’t had a whole lot of pho, but no other place tops Lams. The service is always quick, as well as friendly and professional. Nothing beats a hot bowl of pho on a cold fall/winter day! The flavors are deep and rich, while also being fresh and refreshing. I can never get around to taking a picture of anything we order, mostly because we can’t wait to eat it!

Delicious~ I'm a travel CNA and find myself eating from different places in different states. As an Asian, I have high standards of Asian cuisine and the spicy beef pho was 🤌🏻💋 My bf had the combo fried rice and demolished that plate (metaphorically). 10/10 would go again.

The taste of pho is a bit strange (especially the soup). As other reviews mentioned, cleaness can be improved. The table / bowl / chairs are greasy.

could use 1 or 2 more staff. Big open area but nothing really setting it apart from other pho shops. Pho was good but no sauces were provided other than the standard array of vegetables.

This place needs to work on cleanliness! The walls are pretty gross... maybe a coat of fresh white paint! Tables were caked in condiments of meals past.. If you’re used to wonderful Vietnamese food from out of town (Quang’s in the twin cities sets the bar high), I doubt you’ll find yourself satisfied here. No cilantro in the tiny, stale spring rolls and vermicelli bowl, added to that the vermicelli didn’t taste fresh.. pho broth was alright, but the brisket wasn’t tender as it should be. Waitress was friendly, but food was sub par— won’t return.

Food ok but not great. Server was asked about menu and did a terrible job explaining food differences. Took my twin brother and make server commented that since we were twin we would probably order same food. I was extremely offended. Told him to get us a different server but he didn’t. Didn’t leave a tip. Will NEVER return to this place!!!!!!

What a hidden gem in Sioux Falls!! Traveled from the Wisconsin area and was looking for some pho, so I stopped here and it was DELICIOUS! I highly recommend the Pho Ga with a little chili oil of course. Super kind people and very welcoming environment! Chef’s kiss ✨

Absolutely adore their Bun Bau! We were there with the family and all of us enjoyed our food. We had the chicken bites, spring rolls, fried rice, pho, gingery chicken - everything was good! It is a small restaurant, simple, nice not fancy, run by a family.

Ordered Shrimp spring rolls, when it came it had what I thought were 3 cocktail shrimp (which turned out to be 1.5 tiny shrimp, they had cut half to give the appearance of 3 whole miniature shrimp) with a piece of lunch meat, either chicken or turkey under the half shrimp(s). Worst of all the shrimp were freezer burnt. Absolute YUK! Would NEVER eat there again!

So glad we ate here!! The food was amazing. We had the pork, shrimp spring rolls appetizer and it was so tasty. We had the beef pho and that was amazing. Will definitely eat here again when we're in Sioux Falls!!

This was our go to place for PHO, The portions have gotten allot smaller. The bowl of soup and spring roll order would not fill a child. Maybe we try again some time, but for now we will try some other places. Please be consistent with your portions.

Overall I was under-whelmed. We tried it because a lot of people we know had told us it was super good and the reviews in general where good so why not give it a whirl. It wasn't bad by any means just not as good as anticipated. I got the Chicken Fried Rice which was decent portion for the price and hot coming out. But very bland in flavor. Seemed like it was season with only salt, pepper and a tiny bit of soy sauce. My boyfriend got the Combination Pho which he said he liked the flavor of and again, the portion for the price was pretty decent. Lady working was friendly and the building was about as clean as you'd expect for one that is obviously and older building.

We started off with an appetizer of Bun Bao, very nice! I had the Lam's special the pork was done three ways excellent! And my wife had the veggie bowl. Very tasty. Along with Tea. Would definitely recommend

The food is delicious. The server is always attentive. I had the autumn bowl. The spring rolls were delicious. The fish sauce is the perfect compliment to the rice noodles. We will be going back again.

Another great meal with the family. We love the Beef Spicy Pho, fried rice and pan fried noodles. This a small "Mom & Pop" place. Everyone is always so nice and the food comes out in a timely manner. The prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend!

Had the stir fry combo rice noodle. Yummy. Also, tried the pork and headcheese bahn mi. It wasn't great, but pretty good once I got over trying headcheese for the first time. The table house sauces were fresh and excellent, the service was fast and friendly. I WILL be going back to try something different as I'm sure I won't be disappointed.

Everything was delicious! I ordered the Cornish hen and it was so unique. It came with a very nice gingery broth soup. The seasoning was lightly sweet and complex with spices. My husband ordered the beef tips and that was also fantastic. The atmosphere was nice and quiet, a surprisingly unbusy place but I definitely recommend regardless

The Thai ice tea and the pork 'pie' (tiny quiche pieces) were excellent.

The food was good but the place is not clean. It looks clean but the condiments on the table were not appetizing as the containers needed cleaning. Other areas were dirty as well.

If you like pho this is by far the best place in town for you to get it, and they have multiple choices to choose from. The staff is nice, friendly, and very efficient.

Lams is my go to comfort food. They're always great and the waitress is amazing. My favorite is the sampler platter and the spicy pho with rare rounds. The bahn mi are really tasty too!

Fantastic pho in a casual, unassuming location. I got the spicy combo pho which came with several kinds of meat - ribeye, meatballs, and more - as well as the usual accoutrements of bean sprouts and herbs. The pho was delicious, service was pretty quick, and prices were very reasonable. I'd happily come back again!

I love the Spicy Beef Pho and Bun Bao. The Pho has become my favorite lunch. Very Nice people and a cozy atmosphere.

Best Pho in Sioux Falls. My absolute go to. And their Thai Teas are incredible! Like ice cream but in a drink. Bohn Mi's are delightful. I will always keep coming back!!

This is me and my boyfriend's favorite pho place in South Dakota. We've tried a handful of places in Sioux Falls and Rapid City. Haven't found a place that has topped Lam's. Great pho.

First time here, came with some coworkers and we had some fried pork rolls, spring rolls and pho with brisket and I had the pork with shrimp. Everything was good, food, service and a friendly smile. Got seated quickly and served quickly. Will definitely be back if I’m the area. Thanks 👍🏼

Got beef pho and chicken fried rice to go. Let me tell you the food was awesome. Pho was hot, flavorful, and had plenty of toppings. The broth had a strong but not overpowering flavor and the beef was thinly sliced and very tender. I get pho often at other restaurants and this is some of the best. The chicken fried rice was also top notch. It had reasonable nickel sized pieces of chicken and the egg was about dime sized pieces. It was very flavorful and only slightly spicy. It came with a Chile sauce that made it even better. I recommend you try it if you order fried rice. Portion sizes for both were good, filling for an averaged sized man and wife but neither of us were stuffed. Very good place if you like Vietnamese food.

We got the noodle bowls. all $10 each. The Best value and taste Vietnamese place in Sioux Falls I must say. The volume is so big too. Their red meat balls are the best. Great experience! Will sure be back another time

Lunch at Lams driving through Sioux.. modest ambience in a converted house. Warm hostess. Ordered the Viet bbq pork sandwich and beef pho. Pho flavors were nice with quality meat. Thai iced tea was nice. Would recommend for very reasonable priced, flavorful food..

Amazing food for road wary vegans. The vegan pho is exceptional and, like previous suggestions, the vegan #5 is a must order.

My son and I drove extra to get to Lam's while visiting Sioux Falls area this past weekend. When we walked into the restaurant at 7:34pm we were told their dining room was closed. Several ppl sitting there eating. Their hours say they're open til 8pm on their door and online, but no. We can only order carry out at 7:34pm. Didn't feel right. Update hours of availability to reflect perhaps??

I personally did not like it...yes it was highly recommended. But spring roll wrapper was gummy. Onions on things when specifically asked no onions on anything. (Sprinkled on top. So could have been avoided.)

Great little place for lunch and dinner. The waitress was friendly and attentive. She was awesome with our 3 and 5 year old. Just remember, they are closed on Mondays.

Family ran, great hospitality, cozy clean place. Plates come piping hot quickly from kitchen and presentation is done well. Below average pricing and good sized portions. Definitely a date spot

I personally have not eaten here but a friend of mine loves Vietnamese food and he said this place was top notch
