Great food. They are always busy but make you feel like #1. Right on the airport. We fly in get fuel and eat. Love thus place. Lots of people also come from street side and enjoy watching the planes too.

Love this Cafe. Good & inexpensive food. And a great view of the planes & sometimes helicopters landing & taking off. Love ❤️ the Spinach Salad with the special awesome vinegarette dressing. The prices are the best & the food is 1st class. Husband loves the chef's salad. They always ask if you want a drink to go & give you a ginormous cup. 🥰😍👏🙌. Haven't had anything we didn't enjoy eating here. Waitstaff are the best and the chefs rock !

Absolutely delightful experience. Warm and friendly service and delicious food. I had the cheeseburger and one of our guests had the country ham and another had breakfast. All delicious. When you land you’re not sure you have arrived at the right spot because it is tucked inside the FBO. Well worth the fly in. Service was exceptional. We brought this little girl Vivian here for an M Family Foundation “Moments that Matter” Vivian has DIPG which is 100% fatal. The waitress didn’t know this and yet somehow instinctively they did because they treated Viv like she was super special. I am super thankful for this day.

Cool little location at the Okeechobee airport! The Landing Strip food was phenomenal and the service was awesome! You can watch the planes go in and out while you enjoy the great food! You can come by plane, car, or horse!

Visited this spot for breakfast yesterday and let me tell you, this was the BEST breakfast I think I’ve ever had. Everything was seasoned to perfection. Service was kind. Food came out hot and fresh, and how cool you can watch the planes land and take off. Will definitely be back soon.

Staff are pleasant and efficient. Food is simple fare but exceptional quality. The corned beef hash is better than anything I ever ate in the Army. Bonus is it's at the regional airport and you can watch light aircraft taking off and landing.

Food and service was amazing! They have the best ranch I have ever had. I love watching the planes arrive and depart. Breakfast is served all day! I go at 10am to order off the lunch menu. The royal club is great. The prices are reasonable. The staff is always so happy and friendly. Good is cooked fast so! We've never had to wait very long for a table. 10/10 recommend!

Incredibly atmospheric . Great place for breakfast. My family and I were camping nearby and accidentally found this place. The food is very tasty and the prices will pleasantly surprise you. be prepared to wait for a table, on Sunday it was about 30 minutes

We just left out this morning finding the landing strip Café at Okeechobee airport! We were seated right next to the window on the runway and had a delicious breakfast. Everything was cooked perfectly was tasty and the service was great! If you’re near, be sure to go in.

It’s so good & popular you need to expect to wait for a table! We went on a Sunday morning, so maybe not so busy during the week! We’ve only been for breakfast, I had coffee, corn beef hash, eggs & grits with rye toast! Food was perfectly cooked and the came out in a timely manner. Staff was so friendly and everyone stopped to refill my coffee! Love watching the planes & helicopters fly in and out!

Okay food but sadly, the service was bad A group of 11 of us bikers came in, and they seated us apart without asking if it would be okay to do that We would have waited with no worries However, a very nice vet paid for our group, stating that he was thanking us for our service, and what was done to us was not right

The food and service is outstanding. My wife and I go for our breakfast date every Sunday morning. I'm retired air force so I really enjoy watching the planes come and go, and I sit and chat with the flyers. And they are the friendliest people you will meet.

Saturday motorcycle ride to the Landing Strip Cafe. Five of us were seated in just a few minutes despite being very busy. I had the 3 Egg Veggie Omellette with home fries and toast. It was outstanding and the home fries were crispy and delicious. Great meal with great service. $8.25 for omelette.

The Landing Strip is the definition of Top-Notch in all regards. Everything was clean, the employees were patient and communicative, the food was great and of course I had to check out the bathroom... spotless! Put this place on your list while traveling or just in the area.

Visiting town for a wedding and found this place on Apple Maps breakfast suggestions. Five stars all the way around from the friendliness of the staff, to the FANTASTIC food, to the price. It don’t get much better than that. We got to watch the planes fuel up, take off and land all while eating breakfast. Jette G was our server and she was sweet as pie! I got the Eggsadilla with sausage and hash browns and I haven’t had that good of a breakfast in a long time! Just know I rarely leave reviews but I HAD to for this place. If you’re in town make sure you stop by, I promise you won’t regret it!

This place has got the best home cook food 😁 I love bringing my kids here because they sit and watch the planes take off and land... The only downfall about this place is that it is small so sometimes you got a long wait and if you don't like small cramped areas I would suggest getting take out at least

Fish sandwich not that great. In response to the managers response, I had asked for no onion and from the taste it seemed they just removed the onion from the other mixture. Also no tartar sauce was provided. I have a issue with onions and ended up with a two day heartburn. I mush say though, this is not the first restaurant that has done this. I guess if you don't experience the results of onions.. you really wouldn't understand. Respectfully submitted. Okeechobee Resident.

The Landing Strip Cafe was outstanding in every aspect. Excellent food, super friendly staff, and extremely reasonable prices. We had several items off of the breakfast menu including hash browns, French Toast, omelettes. Their Iced tea and coffee were also top notch. We will definitely be going back. We flew in on a Sunday morning and the restaurant is conveniently located right there on the airport. I can’t say enough good things about this place!!

An interesting place with above average food and selections, considering it sits in a very small community airport restaurant in a very small community. The wait staff is pleasant and the cooks seem to know what they’re doing. Fun for Sunday morning breakfast.

This is one of the best airport restaurants in Florida! It's like a mini airshow when there is good weather. Dining has a great view of the runway and aircraft parking. Food is absolutely delicious with extremely affordable prices! Home fries are one of my favorites! I've been here many times over the years and I've never had a poor experience. Drive in, fly in, enjoy the great food and atmosphere.

We usually go for breakfast. It's my favorite place in town. The food is delicious and the home fries alone are worth going there for. Very large portions and we always have leftovers. Service is always fast and friendly. Definitely a must try.

Don't waste your money. pink lipstick on my coffee mug. The burger was supposed to be well done but was so raw I thought it was going to run off my plate and take the next flight out of Okeechobee...

My husband and I stopped in for breakfast. Food was good, came out fast. Our server stopped coming to our table after she brought the food. My husband wanted hot sauce, we had to flag down another server. Then I needed a box when I was finished, she never came. I ended up walking up and getting one myself. Then another server finally got our check.

As airport diners are slowly becoming obsolete, this place is just that The best of aviation, on the runway and the best of American Diner food. Great staff with a smile. Great food as it should be. And a hustle and bustle like Diners do. A great airport to fly in. Busy with all kinds of traffic and nice seating overlooking the planes. Love coming here for the last 20+ years. I ll be back !!
