Neat little place off the beaten path. Motorcycles and ATVs I bet go there a lot, we were on a motorcycle 😁

Well worrh the drive from Viroqua ... just a bit outside of town; situated in the rolling countryside. Great Friday fish fry, nice beer selection, polite and helpful waitstaff....all of this happening outside on a beautiful day on a spacious deck. You decide - umbrella or not umbrella. Go here - have fun !!

Neat country local bar. I rate the Fish Fry 5 star, was excellent. Fish dinner came with choice of 2 sides with a roll. Salad, macaroni salad, baked potato, fries, coleslaw. Daughter and I shared so she got Mac salad which came in a plastic to go-she said it was really good! Super busy for Friday Fish and fun atmosphere. We had to wait an hour 1/2 for our fish but the wait was worth it. Our waitress was working hard and all were friendly and doing a good job. I had a beer and daughter root beer, then had another beer since food wasn’t there hehe-we sat outside in the deck, near end mosquitos came for their meal but was really a nice place to enjoy the meal and the valley. Highly recommend for the Fish Fry. Typical Wisconsin friendly neighborhood local bar and really great. We got out of there for under $30

Beautiful rural country location. Our server was prompt and friendly. The food was typical bar fare. I had the cheeseburger and added lettuce and tomato. The got pretty carried away with the lettuce. The cheese curds aren't all that great, just generic frozen ones.

Food is amazing as ever. They could improve the atmosphere and the noise level SO much by hanging ceiling baffles. Such a cheap fix to elevate the ambience 10fold.

We had a brand new server, didn't know anything about the menu or availability. Food was typical bar food, nothing special. We were not aware before ordering that they do not take credit cards. I was forced to use their cash machine, with a $7.50 service charge. Very disappointing.

Say outside it was a beautiful afternoon They actually need a person just for outside when it's nice. But if your not in a hurry great place in valley to relax

I grew up within walking distance from Norwegian Hollow, so I had to try out the restaurant. I ordered the pizza because of the great reviews. I ordered the pepperoni and cheese. It was average and could use a bit more flavor in the sauce. The customer service could be a bit more friendly. Maybe they were having an off day. I will be back to give them another try.

This burger looks good, but it was impossible to eat in one piece and dry as all get-out. My partner had an equally dry and boring salmon burger (it literally came with just a bun and mayo), but the 🥨 Bites were good! Not really our scene and they were understaffed by about 5 people. No need to return here. 🤷‍♀️

We love going to the Hollow for Friday night Fish Fry! It’s our absolute favorite place on Friday nights. Drinks are great by Lyle, Matt does an excellent job at the fried and broiled fish dinners and the service is excellent! Everyone works together as a team for timely and outstanding customer service! A great employer is able to keep his staff for years. That’s a sign of a great business. Keep up the super job EVERYONE!

We heard about this place from a friend so we decided to go try the Friday night fish fry. It was good and reasonably priced.

Great out of the way place ! The scenery is fantastic. Great service. I had the rib eye sandwich and potato salad, for 11 bucks. The potato salad was fabulous along with the ribeye. I highly recommend seeking out this place. Can't forget to mention the blue ribbon trout stream just out the door!

You won't confuse this place for another nearby establishment - it's the only thing for miles! Packed Friday evening and the fish fry was done by the time we arrived (+/-8 PM) Took awhile for our burgers to show up, but not ridiculously long. We worried that since the sign said kitchen closed at 9 that the cook had left without taking our order. The mushroom swiss burger nwas tasty and worth the wait.

The perfect Driftless getaway! The Hollow is the perfect destination for a multi night getaway or just great food and cocktails. The rental accommodations are perfect, clean and spacious! Highly recommend!

Not as good as it was in the past. Just ate there a few weeks back and my fish sandwich was nasty and burnt. The piece of fish that was cooked was tiny compared to the size of the bun they put it on. I asked for them to cook another piece which they did but it was really greasy. Very friendly and the atmosphere is nice. Just not sure about the food these days.

It is a nice little hideaway in the hills of the Driftless area. One would never know you are going to arrive at a restaurant/bar! Their cheese curds are the best we have ever had. Prices are reasonable.

Amazing place! Prime rib was good! Prices were amazing beer 12oz and bloody for 5.5 nice view and fun drive.
