We didn't eat, so the review should be ignored. A lovely little shop in the Garden District of New Orleans.

So sad we found this place in the very end of our trip…. Crepe and cheese cake were amazing! And it feels like you are having your tea time somewhere in Europe. I regret we didn’t have a chance to go to the restaurant Commander’s Palace….

What a sweet little spot! The atmosphere is so charming!! We had a frozen peach bellini and pimiento cheese sandwiches. Both were delicious, and the prices were reasonable. We had to order for take out because we got there just before they closed, but the staff was still super friendly.

The shop was bright and clean, the strawberry crepes were excellent, the chicory was a totally new experience, and the little Lady behind the counter was an absolute joy to interact with. With all of the other options available nearby, I went back the next morning for the same order!

I cannot explain enough how wonderful this little cafe was to experience on my recent trip to New Orleans. At first, I briefly stopped in to grab a beverage to walk with in-hand for a two hour long Garden District architecture tour. They had a great selection of wine, canned cocktails, and more! Additionally, they had a full menu as well as some to-go refrigerated food items that looked delectable, so it was quickly decided between my husband and I that we would be returning after the tour for a quick bite before we needed to take the trolley back to the French Quarter. This was a great decision that I'm glad we made! We grabbed a Pimento & Pepper Jelly Sandwich and some deviled eggs, along with a glass of rose wine and some Tiny Top cocktails. For a small sandwich, the Pimento & Pepper Jelly was so packed with flavor and was cold & refreshing all at the same time. It was one of those sandwiches that I wish I had more of immediately after finishing it! I truly wish we had more time to enjoy a full meal here because I didn't want to leave! It was such a cozy and bright cafe, and the staff was so kind and welcoming. I would love to venture here again if the opportunity presents itself for us to visit New Orleans again!

Wow! Best breakfast biscuit I've ever eaten, without question! Pep it up pepper mash biscuit with spicy Homochitto cane syrup... 🤤 The syrup drizzled over the savory buscuit is a tangy flavor I'm going to crave. The mocha was also delicious, served in a Commander's Palace mug. The crepes sampled by other patrons were, reportedly, quite amazing as well. Located directly across the street from Lafayette Cemetery No. 1 and less than a block from the affiliated and notable Commander's Palace, this little Cafe is a gem not to be missed!

A little cafe with a bright blue and white aesthetic!🩵🤍 Aside from the unique interior and exterior of the space, the shop offers a unique menu of crepe flavors + breakfast items! Atmosphere: When you walk down the street, you just can’t miss this spot! The building adorns a vibrant French cafe look with fun wall stripes and printed booth seats! Service: With the space being small, the place gets busy pretty quickly which results in some bottlenecks of wait time at the register since the cashier had to step away to help out! Menu items: I got their TG Tart Lemon Curd & Blueberry Crepe! It was the perfect mix of tangy + sweet. I really enjoy tart flavored anything, so I highly recommend this one! They also serve savory crepes, coffee, tea, sweet treats, and to-go items such as soup, salad, snacks, sandwiches, and dessert. The sister restaurant, Commander’s Palace, is right next door and provides dining room seating!

This place is so cute! Loved the atmosphere. We ran into one issue with another guest here who snatched a table from my elderly mother who has a disability and this woman was ridiculous! Even after she got her table and we sat down next to her table she kept getting upset with us and caused a scene. I bring this up since the general manager came out to handle the situation and she handled it well. I wanted to commend how the manager and the worker handled the situation with class and elegance. The food was amazing and we will definitely be back when we are in town!

I came in earlier today around 2PM after coming across this cafe on Instagram. If you are from New Orleans then you KNOW about Commander's Palace and its rich history. The beautiful blue/white aesthetic and cafe vibes overall were what drew us in. We ordered one rich chocolate ganache and ice cream crepe with an iced caramel macchiato (~$17) for dine in. The server, a curly-haired girl, took my order down WITH my name. While I was waiting for the order with my sister, there was VERY limited seating available. I thought that this was a cafe, but there were people who looked like they were studying taking up tables, not visibly eating or drinking. So we just assumed that this was likely a cafe/coffee shop set up? We still decided to go through with dining in and standing at the counter in the middle to eat our crepe because we were that excited to try this place out. Another server, a straight-haired brunette girl, brought out a crepe on a plate to a couple that was sitting at a table. After serving the couple, it was apparent that there had been a mistake. The crepe was supposed to be ours as I watched the two servers look over to us. I approached the counter, where the brunette server then grabbed the plate from the couple's table and handed it to me. I was in disbelief as she literally handed it to me without apologizing or saying sorry to me or the couple. I understand that mistakes and do happen, but I was just appalled that she was not apologetic and grabbed the plate that was already placed down in front of two other people. I even visibly saw the couple leaning over the plate initially, and the lady had her feet out as she sat criss-crossed on the booth. As I was holding the plate in complete disbelief, the server then asked "was this not what you ordered" to which I clarified that "yes, this was my crepe". She then asked "did you want it to go?" when it was obvious that she literally handed me back a plate that was already served. I asked for her to remake the crepe for me after she tried to say that the crepe was not touched, when she already placed it down at the couple's table and had walked away before she realized her mistake. I think what was more unsettling was the fact that the plate was just handed back to me while I stood by the counter, AFTER the error was realized. She asked me if I wanted her to remake the crepe afterwards, but she did not seem like she wanted to do so at all. If anything, I got a really negative attitude/vibe from her. The couple should have just been allowed to keep the crepe to have or the crepe should have been thrown away. A new crepe should have been made for me, no questions asked. I was genuinely so disappointed with the service and have never experienced anything like that before. Another customer in the shop came by and spoke to my sister and I after witnessing the incident, saying that she noticed the same brunette server was making the crepes behind the counter without wearing gloves at all. She was handling cashier duties and going back and forth without washing her hands too. I value the importance of food safety and hygiene, and I trust that all establishments uphold the highest standards in this regard. I, again, understand accidents/mistakes happen all the time. However, I was met with such negative attitude and completely unapologetic behavior from the brunette server. The crepe was then remade and brought out by the curly-haired server who initially took my order. She was very polite and kind to me. She even let me know where the utensils were and asked if I needed a to-go box and bag for the crepe. Honestly, her and the food/drink were the only reasons I am giving this place two stars. I kindly request that Le Petit Bleu review and reinforce their staff training on food safety protocols to prevent similar issues from happening in the future. I know that they will likely give a copy-and-paste PR response or not read this entire review at all, but I hope that future goers who come across this are made aware of their service and quality.
